We participated in a sunset dinner cruise for our honeymoon. The sunset was beautiful, and we were able to take great photos! The main lobster was also very delicious! The staff were cheerful, and at the end of the show, the group dance was a lot of fun and created a lively atmosphere! However, the boat swayed more than I expected, so I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to have some medication beforehand. Boarding and seating were accomplished efficiently, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our wheelchair bound family member was accommodated.

The buffet appetizer table was disappointing over all. The fruit, pineapple, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon, was almost tasteless. The cheeses were non-spectacular.

Our server was efficient, and he worked very hard to serve multiple tables. The entire wait staff is to be commended for their courtesy, hard work, and good service.

The entertainers were very enthusiastic and tried hard to please the guests. The jazz performances were the best part of the entertainment. The "wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Aloha" was very cheesy.

The drinks were good, and the salad, lobster, and steak were all better than I had expected. The food was quite tasty, and servings were plentiful.

We were greeted on arrival with some traditional Hawaiian Lei's and a photo with two of the show stars. We had a free drink on arrival and then sat down to get ready for the show. The people on the table were chatty and friendly. We were lucky to be the first table up for the buffet which was incredible, so much choice of food! The show started and was absolutely amazing, ending with a fire show! The rooftop view whilst the sun was going down was perfect and typical Hawaiian paradise. Absolutely loved it!

It was really great! The view of Waikiki from the ocean was exceptional. Along the way, a rainbow appeared towards Ala Moana, which really boosted my spirits! The sunset was also perfect! My husband was very satisfied, and when we come to Hawaii again, we will definitely ride again! ^ ^

The sunset and night view were amazing. There was a shuttle service to the hotel, which made it easy to participate with peace of mind. However, by the time I went up to the rooftop to see the sunset, the all-you-can-eat crab had already ended, which was a bit disappointing. It was the best part of our trip to Honolulu. It was like having a fun party on the middle of the sea!
My mom asked me to cancel this before the cruise cuz she felt really tired after other activities but she said it was THE best thing she did in Honolulu!
The crew were super fun, great music, great drinks, everything was all so great. Of course, sunset was beautiful, took my breath away.
And also we saw two humpback whales! It was my first time! It really was an amazing experience.
I will definitely do this again next time I visit Honolulu with my husband.

The overall experience was excellent, the people were friendly and the food was great, better than expected and they really fill you up with crab legs. Dislikes were bathroom locations being unclear and during fireworks people are everywhere to see the fireworks on one side of the boat and they smoke cigs in your face at the very top deck, gross.

I wanted to see a hula dance show and the night view from Tantalus, and at first, I was looking for separate plans for each. However, with this plan, I realized that if I added an option, I could see both at once, which saved time and seemed great. The portion size of the meal was good, even for women, and my companion, who couldn't eat lobster, was able to change to a fish dish, so they could participate. One issue I had was not knowing when or to whom to give the tip, and as a result, I missed the opportunity to give it. I think if they explained the amount and how to give tips, even Japanese people would be willing to pay, so it would be less stressful if they provided that explanation without hesitation.

Also, the commemorative photo was included from the beginning, but the photo itself was just a close-up of faces, which was not very interesting, and I felt it was unnecessary. It came in a nice frame, but it was just a nuisance, so I think a simpler frame would be better. Instead, it would be nice if they included some scenic photos as a bonus.

あと、記念写真が初めから付いていましたが、写真自体はただの顔のアップ写真なので面白味がなく、あの写真なら要らないと思いました。立派な台紙に入っていましたが、邪魔なだけなので、もっと簡易な台紙で良いと思います。その代わり景色の写真をおまけで付けてくれた方が良いと思います。

Four years ago, when I took the cruise with a five-star rating, I was impressed by all the food, so I chose the same course again. However, from the welcome champagne, everything was disappointing. The drinks and meals on board were not tasty, and the ship was aging. I was let down by the constant announcements promoting the cruise. They didn't even inform us about the timing of the sunset, and overall, there was a lack of explanation; everything was just bad. It's unfortunate that even though the ship is old, they haven't maintained proper cleanliness. I probably won't take this tour again.

We enjoyed our meal with the sparkling Waikiki Beach in front of us. The boat turned around during the cruise, allowing everyone to enjoy the night view of Waikiki from any seat. After dinner, we were entertained by a live music performance and hula dance show, making the two hours fly by. The shuttle service was very convenient, but on the way back, there were many similar shuttle buses parked, making it difficult to find the one we needed after disembarking.

The food was delicious, though I wouldn't say it was impressive. I felt it was a bit inferior compared to what you would get at a hotel for the same price.
The view is amazing! The sunset is very beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see whales jumping!
However, when I made the reservation, I mentioned it was for our honeymoon, and because of that, we were constantly greeted with "Congratulations, honeymooners! Let's dance together!" and we were seated right at the front.
While I appreciate it, my husband is not comfortable with that kind of attention in public, so I felt not everyone would be happy to be called out like that.
It's a personal issue for us, though.
Other couples were all having a great time dancing! I felt it’s important to understand each other's preferences when traveling together.

As a commemoration of our honeymoon, we participated in the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise! It was a 3-star experience, but we could freely go to the top deck of the ship, where we enjoyed the best sunset and the night view of Waikiki. Honestly, the dinner was average, but the dance show that started in the second half of the cruise was performed right in front of us and was very impressive. My fiancé and I booked this tour. Would have been fun if we were 20. Everyone on board was hammered beyond belief. Would not recommend for a couple or family. If you’re young and fun, this is for you!

This is a must great price great people. Only thing is be careful walking from the blue umprella to the cat. It was a little sketchy when there was no railing with a rocky ocean drop off. But besides that the trip was incredible captain and bartender were incredible. A ton of fun, welcoming people and fantastic company. Great music great drinks. Highly recommend.

It was a bit disappointing that the weather wasn't great. There were not many Japanese people, but we all had a fun time together! The champagne and Mai Tais were all-you-can-drink and delicious.
