It was my first trip to Hawaii in 38 years with my wife. I thought watching the sunset in Hawaii would be wonderful, so I signed up for it. On the boat, we enjoyed unlimited drinks and had a great time. We chatted with a young couple next to us, the breeze felt nice, and we even saw a rainbow, which meant we could come back to Hawaii again. It was the best!

It didn't shake too much, and the sunset was beautiful, so that was nice. However, all the explanations were in English, so I felt a bit lost. Even though they said it was all-you-can-drink, there were people tipping every time they ordered more, and I wasn't sure what to do. But there were foreigners dancing, and I enjoyed the fun atmosphere overall.

This time, I chose the Stage Side VIP Dinner Course for Rock of Ages, which I had been curious about for a while. After enjoying a Mai Tai and various snacks at the welcome reception, along with beautifully arranged fruit, we moved to our stage-side seats.

The dinner included a main lobster, salmon, steak, and salad, all served in just the right portions and delicious. We enjoyed the show while sipping drinks without having to move from our seats. The impersonators of Elvis and Michael, along with the female vocalist, were excellent in both singing and performance. The collaboration of hula dancing and rock and roll was captivating and left us very satisfied.

The cast also came down close to us, and there was a fire dance, making for a high-quality show that kept us excited the entire time. We were even able to take photos with the cast after the show. There were families with small children, so I thought it would be nice to bring my daughter’s family next time.

今回は前から気になっていたロック・ア・フラショーのステージサイドＶＩＰディナーコースを選びました。ウエルカムレセプションでマイタイと各種おつまみや、お花仕立てのフルーツを頂いた後ステージサイドの席へ移動。
ディナーは、メインのロブスターにサーモン、ステーキ、サラダ等どれも程良い量で美味しく戴きました。席の移動もなくドリンクを飲みながらショーを拝見。エルビス、マイケル両そっくりさんと女性ボーカルは歌もパフォーマンスもうまく、ダンサーとのフラダンス、ロックンロールのコラボは魅力たっぷりで大満足。
キャストも近くに降りてきたり、ファイヤーダンスもありと休む間もないクオリティーの高いショーで大興奮のひと時でした。ショー後にキャストとの写真も撮れました。小さいお子様ずれの方もいたので、次回は娘家族も連れてきたいと思いました。

It was actually my second time doing this with my boyfriend. We did the cruise back in february 2018.
We had a great time and the crew was amazing as always. They’re very accomodating & energetic. They made sure everyone was having a great time which is awesome. We really did appreciate it! I loved the sunset especially when we were sitted in front. We were also able to take different photos in a different angle. The cocktails that were served as well taste amazing! I highly recommend this activity for anyone who wants to experience this beautiful sunset cruise. For future participants it might get cold so just bring a jacket or sweater to be sure. Enjoy!

I think it was great that almost no Japanese people were on the bus, and even on the boat, we didn't encounter any Japanese, which made it feel very foreign despite being in Hawaii. We were able to connect with people from various countries on the bus, all in English, and it was nice to wrap up our last night in Waikiki together as a family on this tour.

I was torn between a traditional luau in the suburbs and this one, but I decided on the Rock-a-Hula show because it was within walking distance from the hotel and there was no need for bus transportation, plus the promotional price was tempting. I'm really glad I chose this one. First of all, the food was delicious! Unlike other dishes I've had in Hawaii, the seasoning was not too strong, just right, and although it was luxurious and plentiful, it wasn't greasy at all, so I finished it all quickly. There were also Japanese staff members in the hall who frequently checked in on us, which made me feel at ease. The content of the hula show was a great mix of traditional elements and some well-known songs from a bit earlier, so the time flew by without getting boring. The impersonators of Michael and Elvis were also very talented and entertaining. While some might say the show was short, I felt satisfied with the rich content. I participated on September 28. The hotel pickup was about 15 minutes late, and I was contemplating whether to call for inquiries when a large bus arrived. We were the last pickup. However, it was reassuring that the pickup location and the contact number for inquiries in case of delays over 10 minutes were clearly stated at the time of booking. There were only two of us Japanese; the rest were from Australia and the United States. The guide on the bus spoke Japanese, which was helpful.

The seating on the boat was basically free. There were round tables for six. Since the boat was spacious and the tables were large, we could enjoy our meals without worrying about the people next to us. It was a buffet style, and there was plenty of food, which was satisfying. The pineapple among the fruits was particularly delicious, and I ate quite a bit of it.

We could move freely between the second and third floors, so I went to the front to take pictures of Diamond Head while it was still light. Then I went to the back of the boat to watch the sunset. Finally, it was time for the fireworks. The display lasted about five minutes, but it was a satisfying fireworks experience. The weather was good, and there were no waves, making it a comfortable viewing of the fireworks from the boat. The weather and waves depend on luck, so all we can do is pray for good conditions.

９月２８日の参加です。ホテルピックアップが約１５分遅れ、問い合わせの電話をしようかと迷っていたところへ大型バスが到着。私たちが最後のピックアップでした。ただ申し込み時に、ピックアップの場所と１０分以上遅れた場合の問い合わせ先も明記してあったので安心でした、、、。日本人は私たち２人だけ。あとはオーストラリア、アメリカから。バスに添乗していたガイドさんが日本語の話せる方でしたので、助かりました。船の席は基本自由。６人掛けの丸テーブル。広い船内と広いテーブルでしたので、隣の方を気にすることなく食事ができました。バイキング形式でしたが、量もふんだんにあり、満足でした。フルーツではパイナップルがとても美味しかったのが印象的でした、、、かなり食べました、、、。
２階３階へは移動が自由でしたので、明るいうちにダイヤモンドヘッドを写真に収めるため先頭へ。夕日を観るため船尾へ。そして花火の時間。打ち上げは５分ほどでしたが満足の花火観賞でした。お天気が良く波もなかったので快適な船からの花火観賞でした。お天気と波は運次第ですね。祈るしかありません。

I booked this trip based on the great reviews for a two-person journey with my mother, who loves cruising and sailing! We arrived a bit late and caused some inconvenience, but everyone was so kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the beautiful sea created the best memories. Since the boat sways quite a bit, I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are worried about getting seasick! If I get the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely want to participate again! 😊

The weather was nice, but unfortunately, clouds appeared just as the sun was setting on the horizon, so I couldn't see the beautiful sunset, which was very disappointing. The captain of the boat and the two staff members who were also the bartender were friendly and fun, but they didn't speak Japanese. This trip was definitely above our expectations. First, I want to applaud the customer service of this Company. Our first tour was cancelled due to weather. They informed us promptly and immediately rescheduled us for an alternative date. When we arrived after the boat, there had been an error in some customers booking causing a delay in the boat's departure. Not only did they extend our time, but our drinks were compensated due to the delay. We were more than obliged to wait for the late arrivals :). The boat was not crowded, the service was fantastic, and the music was great. As promised, we enjoyed the beautiful boat and the fantastic views of the sunset, city and diamond head. Everything was literally as promised. We would definitely recommend to friends.
