It had been quite a while since I last rode a catamaran, so it was a nice change.

At this time of year, I think you don't have to worry too much about the weather, but since there was a hurricane, I wanted to see the beach as soon as we arrived in Hawaii, so I made a last-minute reservation.
It was fine to book the day before, and I received an immediate confirmation email. There were no issues with check-in on the day.

Boarding involved getting wet up to about my knees, and there’s a rule to shake off the sand from your sandals before getting on. The seating is first-come, first-served, but everyone was courteous and shared.

Once we set sail and headed out, we caught the wind. The front of the boat took quite a bit of spray, but that’s part of the fun of being on a catamaran.
While it was calm at the beach that day, there were significant waves offshore, and we glided over them.
The first half was quite an intense activity, but on the way back, we enjoyed a peaceful sail while taking in the views of Diamond Head and the streets of Waikiki.

The downside was the location.
Based on my old memories, I headed towards the Sheraton, but I couldn't get through from the pool area and had to take a long detour from the parking lot to reach it.

出航して沖に出ると風を受けて進みます。前方はかなり波を被りますが、それがカタマランの楽しさ。
この日はビーチだと穏やかでしたが、沖は結構な波で、滑空するように波を乗り越えます。
前半はかなり激しいアクティビティでしたが、後半の帰りはダイアモンドヘッドやワイキキの街並みを眺めながら、穏やかなセイリング。
いい写真撮れました。

難点は開催場所。
昔の記憶でシェラトンの辺りに向かうとプールの辺りから通り抜けられず、駐車場の方から大回りしてたどり着きました。
カイマーケットか、プールあたりからはいけそうなんですが、シェラトンの宿泊者限定っぽい感じで。
ルート案内がもう少し情報があれば。

All the slides were fun! However, when considering the total experience, I think the cost performance is a bit high. The all-you-can-drink options aren't really worth it since you can't drink that much. The locker fee is also expensive. If it were a bit cheaper, I would want to go again.

Once everyone was gathered and the cruise started, the dishes were served one after another. During the meal, we could freely go up to the deck, but after enjoying the sunset for a while and returning to our seats, the steak and dessert were lined up on the table, so it got busy. It was my first time having lobster, and there were tools like pliers on each table, but I didn't know how to use them, so I asked the staff to crack the shell for me. I learned to cover it with a napkin to prevent the juice from splattering. I wish I had researched how to eat lobster beforehand. The volume of the lobster and steak was too much to finish. We could also choose from two types of drinks. It was a luxurious meal, with a Hawaiian sunset and a show, creating wonderful memories. I'm glad I participated.

It was an amazing experience! I chose the plan with transportation, and it was comfortable both going and coming back. As soon as we got on the boat, there was an all-you-can-eat selection of cheese and fruit, and drinks were served right away. However, when I ordered a tropical drink, it was too sweet for me to enjoy. I should have gone with regular champagne instead. But the food was delicious, and the dancing and singing were so much fun—it was the best!

すごく素敵な体験でした！送迎付きプランにして、行きも帰りも快適でした。船に入ってすぐにチーズやフルーツが食べ放題で、ドリンクもすぐ出してもらえましたが、南国風のドリンクを頼んだところ甘すぎて飲めませんでした。普通のシャンパンとかにすればよかった。でもご飯は美味しいしダンスも歌も楽しいし最高でした！
