When I visited last time, I couldn't do stand-up paddleboarding due to the wave height (so I went kayaking instead), so I came back again. Mieko, who is Japanese, and Mark, who speaks Japanese well, were very kind and taught us patiently, so both my friend and I were able to stand up from the very beginning. We landed on the island, and it was really fun! When I mentioned that I wanted to explore Kailua more on the way back, they arranged for cycling and even had an employee who was going to Waikiki drop us off... they took care of everything. There are other places where you can do stand-up paddleboarding, but I really recommend this one. I look forward to visiting again next time.

前回行った時に、波の高さでスタンドアップパドルが出来なかったので（その時はカヤックをしました）再度お伺いしました。日本人のミエコさん、日本語の上手なマークさんはとても親切で、丁寧に教えて頂いたので、友人も私も最初から立つ事が出来ました。島まで上陸、本当に楽しかったです！また帰りももっとカイルアを散策したいと伝えたところ、サイクリングの手配やちょうどワイキキに行く従業員の方が送ってくださる様に話して頂いたり・・・何から何までお世話になりました。スタンドアップパドルが出来るところは他にもありますが、こちらは本当におすすめです。次回もまた宜しくお願いします。

Had a great time. We go to Hawaii once a year, and have gone on almost every tour. The best thing about this was the tremendous flexibility to do and swap activities. Not a "tourist" tour. Little fubar on scheduling, but the drive Harry made up for that. Time with Harry was as good or better than seeing the falls!!

First of all, the location is Waikiki, so I was attracted by how close it was to my hotel, allowing me to walk there in my swimsuit.

This was my second time surfing in my life, but I was a bit anxious because the waves were high that day. At first, I was flustered after entering the water and kept failing to stand up as I had been taught, but after several attempts, I became more relaxed and was able to stand up calmly as instructed, managing to ride the waves for a longer time!! Riding the waves was so much fun… it felt amazing♪ I want to go again.

今回は人生で2回目のサーフィンでしたが、この日は波が高く少し不安でした。

I went surfing for the first time at Waikiki Beach, which is just a short walk from the hotel. First, I received instruction from the instructor on paddling and how to stand on the board at the beach. After the practice on the beach, it was time to hit the ocean! The instructor gave me advice on when to catch the waves, so I was able to ride them successfully. The hour flew by, and I had so much fun catching waves multiple times. To be honest, I was interested in surfing, but I never thought I would be able to stand on the waves, as I had signed up for stand-up paddleboarding. I appreciated their consideration and decided to challenge myself with surfing for the first time in my life!

First, I received a brief lesson on basic movements on the water at Waikiki Beach, and then it was time to head into the ocean. They taught us in Japanese, saying things like, "Paddle (with your hands)~" and "Stand up~!" which helped me stand nicely on the waves♪

A fellow participant who was surfing for the second time mentioned, "The waves in Waikiki are gentle, so they're easy for beginners to ride." I also never expected to be able to ride the waves so quickly, so I think the staff's teaching skills are excellent! (*＾-＾*)

Canoe surfing in Waikiki!!! ワイキキでカヌーサーフィン！！！

It was a somewhat cloudy morning, but since we had canoe surfing at 10 AM, there were only a few people on the beach and in the water. We all pushed the heavy canoe surfing onto the sand and then floated it in the sea, after which we started paddling in sync with the person in front of us.

Even when some slightly high waves came, we paddled at a right angle to the waves and made our way out to sea.

While we were out there, we could enjoy a 360-degree view of Waikiki while paddling with our paddles!!

When a slightly higher wave came, we pointed the bow towards the beach. To ride the wave like surfing, we paddled with all our might. And then...

We really glided on the wave, with The Royal Hawaiian ahead of us. To our right was Diamond Head, and to our left was the Halekulani Hotel, among others. I felt so happy as I finished my first wave ride.

After finishing the second wave in the same way, I was surprised that it was already over.

It did say at least two rides, but we had only been doing the activity for 15 minutes!!! I ended it feeling a bit sad.

This activity is great for families and couples. If it's a group of women, the beach boys might be happy to join in?! They might make the wave riding even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend this activity!!!

重いカヌーサーフィンを皆で砂の上を押し、海に浮かべ、その後、前の人に合わせ漕ぎ始めます。
途中少々高い波がきても波に対して直角に漕ぎ、ある程度沖にでます。

沖に出ているあいだ、パドルで漕ぎながらも３６０度ワイキキの眺めを堪能できます！！

少し高めの波がきたところで船首をビーチ側へ。
サーフィンと同じ容量で波に乗るため、あるったけの力をふりしぼり漕ぎます。そうすると・・・。


本当に滑るように波に乗り、前方にThe Royal Hawaiian。
右手にはダイアモンドヘッド。左手にはハレクラニホテルなどなどなど。
とても幸せな気分で１回目の波乗り終了。

２回目も同様に乗り終わったところで、な・なんと、終了してしまいました。

確かに最低２回と書いてあったけど。まだ、アクティビティを始めて１５分しか経ってない！！！
ちょっと、悲しい気持ちで終了してしまいました。

このアクティビティは、家族もよし、カップルもよし。
女性同士だったらビーチボーイも喜んで？！
もっと波乗りを楽しませてくれるかもしれません。

I chose to go to the Waimea Falls and Botanical Garden and on the Kayak ride...also got to lay around on Waimea Beach and jump off the rock! I had a total blast. The driver/guide was knowledgable and friendly and made sure we all had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone.

I participated with my husband. It was my first time, but the staff were very kind and taught us well, which made me feel at ease. It seems that the plan was to practice in a nearby river first and then head to the beach once we got used to it, but unfortunately, on the day we participated, we couldn't go to the beautiful beach in Kailua due to strong winds. However, the river was fun, and we had a course where we went upstream and then came back down. While enjoying the scenery around us, the staff provided guided explanations, making it feel like an adventure, and it was really enjoyable. I would like to participate again.

First time on surf bus, me(45), niece(25), son(9), daughter(4). Only paid for 1 activity each because we didnt know the time schedule or what would work best. Pick up 8:15am. Nice tour of different beaches at north shore. Finally arrived at 1st activity spot at 10:30 me/daughter went to waimea beach, niece/son waimea falls and walked to us. Others did snorkeling. Picked up at 1pm. Next stop haleiwa where we got 1 paddle board and 1 double kayak. Son loved padded boarding by himself! We switched off and met back at 3. Others walked through town and ate. We did great with just one activity eac (2 waimea waterfall entrance, 1 paddle board, 1 kayak). Others did th snorkel then th paddle board the 2nd half. The falls walk was hot and long but my son still enjoyed. Beach was nice for me and my 4 year old to float in the calmer waves. Definitely enjoyed our trip! Nice ending was a couple days later I realized I had left my daughter's life jacket (brought a good one for my entir vaca

Not much of a tour. Driver OK - very little information given during ride, made a few recommendations. Driver dropped everyone off then went surfing for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
Other folks in group disappointed in the amount of walking, lack of bike helmets and places where the road had no bike trail.

I had a stand up paddle board lesson with Alison on 5/31. She brought along the correct sized board for me, something the rental places at Waikiki did not, and we had a great time. After a couple of minutes of getting used to the balance, I was off and running....err...paddling that is. It was a beautiful day, before and after the rain squall, and we saw numerous sea turtles swimming by us. Alison was fun, friendly, and easy to talk to and was an excellent instructor. I had the lesson my first day in Hawaii and it was so much fun, I did it every day I was there.

The second day I had a regular surfing lession with (Mollie, Matty? something like that, I forget now. But it was great fun also, I caught a few nice waves and she was really helpful....another great instructor. The learning curve for surfing is quite a bit higher than SUP, but I enjoyed it so much I'm taking another surfing lession this Sunday in cold water (wet suit) here in Washington state. My husband and I participated in stand-up paddleboarding in Kailua. Since I had experience with surfing, we signed up without a lesson. It was more stable than a longboard, and it was fun to paddle easily like a boat. We paddled to a nearby island twice and didn't fall off even once (the wind and waves were mild). I was really satisfied since even a beginner like me could enjoy it so much. I would love to do it again when I go back to Hawaii! Thank you!

My father wanted to go, so my father, sister, and I participated together. The canoe could hold five or six people, but perhaps because it was early in the morning, we were the only participants, so two staff members joined us. After just a brief lesson on how to hold the paddle and how to row, we set off into the sea. We all paddled out to the open water and waited for the waves. The staff would let us know when a good wave was coming, and when we started paddling at their signal, we were able to ride the waves successfully. The canoe moved forward with great momentum, and surprisingly, we picked up quite a bit of speed, so we got pretty wet from the splashes (laughs). We rode the waves twice before finishing. They also took photos for us, and including that, it was about $30 per person, but I thought I would have been satisfied if we could have ridden the waves three times. Overall, I can say it was "fun!" and since it's an experience you can't really have elsewhere, I highly recommend it!

風が吹くと立っている自分自身がセイルになるのだとか。。。だから、強風の時はぼ~~っと突っ立ってると流される。。。そんな時は座って回避。

カンタンな説明のあと引っ張られるままに海に入り、いつのまにかボードの上に立っていた。おまけに座ってだけど、いつの間にか波に乗っていた。波に乗りながらパドルを水に刺すと方向が変わる。。な~るほど。。。
こうやって皆このスポーツにハマっていくんだ。。。

気分爽快でスイスイ進んでいると手が届くかと思う距離にウミガメが。。。なんとラッキー
そして、沖でボードに立って電話をかけてたじいさんを見たとき、ウミガメと同じくらい貴重なものを見た気がしてワクワクした。

ワイキキのホテルから水着ででかけ、水着で帰ってこれるという手軽さが何より魅力。いただいたＣＤもお土産よりも大切な思い出になった。

Paddle surfing was really fun!
At first, I was worried about whether I could stand on the board, but when I cautiously stood up, it felt strange.

It was a bit wobbly and scary where the waves were, but once I got the hang of handling the paddle, it was truly enjoyable!

I want to participate again!

Since I was a beginner in stand-up paddle surfing, I joined a tour with lessons. While the explanations were clear, there wasn't much to remember, so I thought it might have been better to study the technique on my own beforehand and join a tour without lessons. But it was fun!

スタンダップ･パドル・サーフィン初心者だったので、レッスン付きのツアーへ参加しました。
わかりやすく説明していただいたのは良いのですが、あまり覚える事は少ないので、これなら事前に独学でやり方を勉強し、レッスン無しのツアーへ参加した方が良かったかなと思いました。

We thought we could hike to the waterfall and then go snorkeling. From what I had read that would be a possibility. Both were morning options. He parked centrally then we walked to meet him. For the price I should not have expected to be taken to each destination I suppose, but I did. Still we had a good time and swimming in the waterfall was GREAT

I have been to the North Shore before and enjoyed this trip the most. We enjoyed the Waimia Falls park more due to the guides suggestions. he was very knowledgeable and interesting. I especially enjoyed the turtles. I would recommend it for the young and hardy or an old folk like me. Great fun!
