I took a one-hour lesson with two instructors: one taught me how to surf, and the other took photos while I was riding the waves. I'm happy to receive the pictures! One hour was just right for me. The instructor understood Japanese and taught me kindly, so I felt at ease and enjoyed myself.

サーフィンを教えて下さる方と波に乗ったのを撮って下さる方の2名体制で1時間のレッスンを受けました。写真を頂けるのは嬉しいです！私は1時間でちょうど良かったです。先生も日本語がわかる方ですし優しく教えて下さったので安心して楽しめました。

It was my first time paddle surfing! It was so much fun! Luckily, I was able to see a sea turtle, which was amazing! I also got some great photos, making for a wonderful memory. Thank you!

I arrived in Hawaii alone first and, feeling a bit anxious about meeting up with my friends later, I participated by myself. However, from the moment I was picked up, Mark spoke to me kindly and fluently in Japanese, which really put me at ease. The staff here are cheerful, the activities were fun, and the lunch was casual. The ocean was beautiful and it was just amazing! During free time, I could use the bodyboards as well. This is definitely a place I want to visit again; I had a great time!

先に1人でハワイにつき、後から友達と合流計画の為、不安になりながらも1人で参加しましたが、お迎えの時からマークさんが日本語も上手に優しく話しかけてくれたのでとてもホッとしました。ここのスタッフの人は明るくてアクティビティも楽しかったし、ランチも自由な感じで、海もきれくて最高でしたよ！自由時間もボディボードとか使えます。また必ず行きたいところで、楽しかった！！

The "Surf Bus" Rocked my world, got timed out and lost my heartfelt compliments. I can't rewrite my praises. It does not do justice. Going to try:
Sam was an amazing guide, the playing, eating, and listening on the North Shore, my taste of heaven. Just visualize; Sea Turtles, tidal pools and an eye to eye with an Eagle Ray, food to die for, and 1000 reasons to keep coming back. An awesome "build your own burger". Surprise yourself and go for it! Not a sit and stare tour, unless your waiting for a set, or focused on sea turtles. You still get to do your driving. Came back exhausted and completed. 50 years in and now I figure out happy. Better late than never.
Mesmerized by the bright smiles, and sense of community that emerged as we talked through our day. 20 people, 5 countries and a bevy of dialects. It was right Kraky, but no worries mate.

My wife and daughter (12 years old) had their first experience. Both of them were able to stand on the board and ride the waves, and they were very happy. On the way back, they even said, "I wish there were a few more big waves," which shows how impressed they were. They mentioned they definitely want to experience it again. At the beginning, there was an explanation in Japanese on the beach, which made us feel at ease even though we didn't understand English. I was just observing, but there were no additional fees, and I was able to relax and watch under a beach umbrella.

家内と娘（１２歳）が、初めての体験。２人ともボードに立って、波を乗り越えることができて、とても喜んでいました。帰り際には、「もうちょっと高い波があればいいのに」というぐらい感激。是非、また体験したいと言っていました。説明も最初、ビーチで日本語で説明があり、英語のわからない我々も安心して体験できました。また、私は見学だけだったのですが、特に追加料金も無く、ビーチパラソルの下で、ゆっくり見学することが出来ました。

Best way to visit the North Shore Area. There is so much to do on this tour I only wished it had lasted longer. We snorkeled at sharks cove where we saw beautiful fish and sea turtles, swam under a waterfall at Waimea Valley, visited sunset beach and turtle beach. We then hung out and ate in Haleiwa town. There are different options to choose from depending on your package. We missed Waimea bay - could not fit into schedule. Maybe next time. Highly recommend if you are NOT renting a car.

We, a couple in our 40s, had our first experience with paddle surfing. The weather was great, and we set out from the beach of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, walking in the waters of Waikiki with our instructor and photographer. Although we fell into the sea several times due to our lack of skill, the scenery was stunning and left us in awe. We also had many photos taken, which became wonderful keepsakes.

４０代夫婦でパドルサーフィン初体験でした。天候が良く、ロイヤルハワイアンホテルのビーチから出てインストラクターやカメラマンとワイキキの海を散歩しました。下手で何度も海に落ちましたが景色が素晴らしく感激しました。写真もたくさん撮影していただき記念になりました。

We enjoyed our first SUP lesson led by Ka'iulani. She was very knowledgeable about teaching SUP and Hawaiian culture. We loved her company! We very much liked the whole experience with Kailua Sailboards & Kayaks, Inc. and recommend them for everyone.

I was wondering if such a large canoe could ride the waves, but I was completely wrong! It rides the waves over a longer distance than regular surfing. The exhilaration of riding the waves while looking at Diamond Head in the waters of Hawaii is incredibly refreshing!

Just follow the captain's simple instructions: paddle or rest, that's all. You don't need to speak English to enjoy it!

ふつうのサーフィンよりも長い距離波に乗ります。
ハワイの海でダイヤモンドヘッドを見ながら波に乗る爽快感は抜群に気持ち良いです！

キャプテンの簡単な指示に従って、漕ぐか休むか、それだけ。英語が出来なくても大丈夫です！

I participated with a friend. Since it was my first experience, I was both excited and a little anxious! When the lesson started, I was taught by a foreigner who could speak Japanese, and they explained everything very clearly and in detail, so even someone like me, who is not good at English, understood it well (laughs). Also, since we were in the ocean, the instructor stayed with us. They watched the wave conditions and pushed the board when a good wave came. Thanks to that, I was able to ride without falling even once, and I had a very satisfying time!

友達と二人で参加をしました。初体験ということもあり楽しみと少し不安な気持ちもありました！
レッスンが始まると日本語が話せる外人から教えていただき、とてもわかりやすくかつ細かく教えて頂き英語が苦手なあたしでもよーくわかりました（笑）
そして、海に入ってたからも先生はついてきてくれました。
波の状態をみながら、いい波がくるとボードを押してくれました。おかけで一回も転倒することなくのれ大満足の時間がすごせました！

I was super excited to catch some waves on my first surfing experience. After receiving a detailed explanation in Japanese, I headed into the ocean, and to my surprise, I was able to ride the waves and had a great time. Since it was Waikiki Beach, it was also convenient to walk there. I will definitely participate again next time.

初サーフィンで、波乗りが出来て超感激です。日本語の説明を詳しく受けた後、いざ海の中へ・・思いの他、波に乗れ楽しい時間でした。ワイキキビーチなので、徒歩での移動も便利でした。次回もまた参加します。

I experienced a surfing lesson. I chose a group lesson, but it felt almost like a private lesson because the instructor was with us the whole time. The lesson was in English, but they used simple language, so I think it would be fine even for those who don't understand English. There was a little mishap with the reservation time, but they responded quickly, which I really appreciated. I think it's a nice service that they take photos and provide them on a CD. By the way, purchasing the CD cost $30.

サーフィンレッスンを体験しました。グループレッスンを選択しましたがほぼプライベートレッスンのように、ずっとつきっきりで教えてくれました。英語でのレッスンでしたが、簡単な英語を使ってくれたので、英語が分からない方でも大丈夫だと思います。予約の時間を間違えてしまうというハプニングがありましたが、すぐに対応してくれてとても有難かったです。写真を撮ってくれ、CDにしてくれるのは良いサービスだと思います。ちなみにCD購入は30ドルかかりました。

Meeting in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, also known as the Pink Palace, 30 minutes before the start. (I used it during the dinner buffet with a show last time. To visit again for an activity...) It's very convenient to access, as it's within walking distance from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center (trolley stop) and hotels in the Waikiki area. Heading to the beach from Kalakaua Avenue through a narrow path with board lockers, I arrived next to the counter.

First, I checked in at the counter. After reading and signing a document with important notes regarding participation, we began the lesson using boards at Waikiki Beach. First, we learned how to balance on the board, including foot and face positioning. Next, we learned paddling (the efficient hand shape), how to go through waves, and how to avoid contact with others. The instructions were very clear, which eased my tension.

Finally, we headed to the sea. First, I got on the board and paddled out. Upon reaching the surfing point, we waited for the waves. When a suitable wave came, the instructor shouted, "Paddle, paddle!" and I paddled vigorously. When I felt I could ride the wave, I quickly grabbed both sides of the board and moved into the riding position. I adjusted my stance to maintain balance and kept my gaze focused on the horizon to stay calm. At first, I was nervous and couldn't move my body as I wanted. Gradually, with the instructor's support, my desire to stand on the board grew stronger, and I managed to ride successfully. If I have another opportunity to surf next time, I hope to be able to take off on my own... I also want to review the CD to pay attention to my riding position, posture, and gaze for my next attempt. The one-hour surfing experience flew by surprisingly quickly, but it was just the right amount of physical activity. After the activity, we had a lunch buffet at the restaurant. Additionally, boards are available for rent, and I plan to surf again at Waikiki Beach later.

This was my first surfing experience, and thanks to the support of all the staff, I was able to enjoy the thrill of standing on the board. Also, I had my riding pose captured with Diamond Head in the background on the CD, creating a wonderful memory. Thank you very much for all your help. I sincerely appreciate it. If there is another opportunity, I look forward to it.

憧れのピンク・パレスことロイヤルハワイアンホテルのビーチ前に開始３０分前集合。（前回ショー付きディナービッフェにて利用。再び、アクティビティにて訪れるとは…。）ロイヤルハワイアンショッピングセンター（トロリー停留所）やワイキキエリアホテルから徒歩圏内のため、アクセスも大変便利。カラカウア通りからボードロッカーのある細道をビーチへ向かうとカウンター横に到着。
まずは、カウンターにてチェックイン。参加にあたっての注意事項等書面にて一読後、署名。その後、ワイキキビーチにてボードを使用してレッスン開始。まずは、ボード上でのバランスのとり方、足や顔の向き等々。次に、パドリング（効率の良い手の形）やウェーブスルー、人との接触回避方法も学ぶ。とても解りやすく教えて頂き、緊張感も和らぎました。
いよいよ、海へ。まずは、ボードに乗りパドリングで沖へ出る。波乗りポイントに到着、波を待つ。サーフィンに適した波が来たら、先生の掛け声「こいで、こいで。」とともに、勢い良くパドリング。波に乗れたと感じられたら、瞬時にボードの両脇を持ち、ライディングの工程へ。立ち位置を修正しながらバランスをとり、目線を遠くに向けるなどをしてなるべく持続できるように平常心を保つ。最初は、緊張していたためなかなか思うように体を動かすことができませんでした。徐々に、先生のサポートによりボードに立ちたいという思いが強くなり、なんとかライディング成功。次回サーフィンをする機会がありましたら、一人でテイク・オフができるように…。また、CDを見直してライディング位置や姿勢、目線などに注意をしながら再チャレンジ計画に役立てたいと思いました。１時間程度のサーフィン体験は、驚く程あっという間でしたが体力的にもちょうど良かったです。アクティビティ参加終了後は、レストランにてランチビッフェ。また、ボードはレンタル可能、後日再びワイキキビーチにてサーフィン。
この度は、初めてのサーフィン体験でしたが、お陰様でスタッフの皆様のサポート力でボードに立つ楽しさまでも味わさせて頂きました。また、ダイヤモンド・ヘッドをバックにライディング姿をCDに収めて頂き、素敵な思い出となりました。色々とお世話になり、本当に有難うございました。心より感謝申し上げます。また機会がございましたら、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

When I visited last time, I couldn't do stand-up paddleboarding due to the wave height (so I went kayaking instead), so I came back again. Mieko, who is Japanese, and Mark, who speaks Japanese well, were very kind and taught us patiently, so both my friend and I were able to stand up from the very beginning. We landed on the island, and it was really fun! When I mentioned that I wanted to explore Kailua more on the way back, they arranged for cycling and even had an employee who was going to Waikiki drop us off... they took care of everything. There are other places where you can do stand-up paddleboarding, but I really recommend this one. I look forward to visiting again next time.

前回行った時に、波の高さでスタンドアップパドルが出来なかったので（その時はカヤックをしました）再度お伺いしました。日本人のミエコさん、日本語の上手なマークさんはとても親切で、丁寧に教えて頂いたので、友人も私も最初から立つ事が出来ました。島まで上陸、本当に楽しかったです！また帰りももっとカイルアを散策したいと伝えたところ、サイクリングの手配やちょうどワイキキに行く従業員の方が送ってくださる様に話して頂いたり・・・何から何までお世話になりました。スタンドアップパドルが出来るところは他にもありますが、こちらは本当におすすめです。次回もまた宜しくお願いします。

Sam was a wonderful friendly tour guide. I liked the flexibility of the tour, being able to do various activities and see many different things. The sea turtles were a highlight. I also enjoyed the history and personal anecdotes of the tour. It was the best part of my trip to Oahu.

Had a great time. We go to Hawaii once a year, and have gone on almost every tour. The best thing about this was the tremendous flexibility to do and swap activities. Not a "tourist" tour. Little fubar on scheduling, but the drive Harry made up for that. Time with Harry was as good or better than seeing the falls!!

Had great day. My grandsons and self really enjoyed it. Lots of time to wander around. Sam was great. Very knowledgable .answered lots of questions.really appreciated his friendly attitude.

First of all, the location is Waikiki, so I was attracted by how close it was to my hotel, allowing me to walk there in my swimsuit.

This was my second time surfing in my life, but I was a bit anxious because the waves were high that day. At first, I was flustered after entering the water and kept failing to stand up as I had been taught, but after several attempts, I became more relaxed and was able to stand up calmly as instructed, managing to ride the waves for a longer time!! Riding the waves was so much fun… it felt amazing♪ I want to go again.

まず、場所がワイキキなので、宿泊のホテルから水着で歩いて行ける近さに惹かれました。

今回は人生で2回目のサーフィンでしたが、この日は波が高く少し不安でした。
海に入ってから初めは気が焦り、教わった立ち上がり方ができずにすぐに立ち上がろうとして失敗していましたが、何度もチャレンジするうちに余裕が出て、レッスン通りに落ち着いて立ち上がれるようになり、長くボードに立って波に乗ることができました!!
波に乗れると楽しくて楽しくて…最高な気分でした♪
また行きたいなぁ。

I went surfing for the first time at Waikiki Beach, which is just a short walk from the hotel. First, I received instruction from the instructor on paddling and how to stand on the board at the beach. After the practice on the beach, it was time to hit the ocean! The instructor gave me advice on when to catch the waves, so I was able to ride them successfully. The hour flew by, and I had so much fun catching waves multiple times. I definitely want to surf at Waikiki again next time!

ホテルから歩いてすぐにあるワイキキビーチで初めてサーフィンをしました。
まずビーチでインストラクターのパドリングやボードの立ち方等の指導を受けました。
ビーチでの予行練習の後はいざ海へ！
インストラクターが波に乗るタイミングをアドバイスしてくれたのでうまく波に乗れました。1時間あっという間でしたが何度も波乗りができてとても楽しかったです。
次回も是非ワイキキサーフィンしたいです！！

The title mentioned (canoe surfing, surfing, stand-up paddle lessons), and I thought I could choose one of the three, so I purchased it. However, when I arrived at the location, I was surprised to find out that it was only a ticket for canoe surfing. It seemed that there were several groups before us who had a similar experience... I was really disappointed since we went to Hawaii to surf. In the end, thanks to the consideration of the local staff, I was able to pay the regular lesson fee and go surfing, but it was disappointing since they advertised a low price. The school itself had a fun instructor, and I really enjoyed it!

タイトルには（カヌーサーフィン、サーフィン、スタンドアップパドルレッスン）とあり、3つの中から好きなのを選べるのかと思い購入しました。
しかし、現地に行ってビックリ…カヌーサーフィン購入のみのチケットであるという説明でした。私たちより以前にも同じようなグループは何組かいた様子…サーフィンをしにハワイへ行ったのにとても残念です。
最終的には現地のスタッフさんの配慮で、通常レッスン料金を支払いサーフィンはできましたが、安い料金を売りにしていたのに残念です。スクール自体はノリのいい先生でとても楽しめました！

Walking along the coast is quite pleasant, and it would have been even better if the weather had been nice. The horses were also very well-behaved.

海沿いを歩くのは結構気持ちの良いもので、天気が良ければもっと良かったです。お馬さんもお利口さんでした。

It was great that there was no time needed for travel since it was held at Waikiki Beach. Also, it was nice to receive the photo data after the lesson.

ワイキキビーチで行うため、移動に要する時間が無いことが良かったです。また、レッスン終了後に写真データを貰えることも良かったです。

My father participated alone. At 76 years old, he was quite advanced in age, but the staff's response was wonderful, and they were kind and attentive. When he returned, he seemed very happy and said he had a great time. Although he appeared quite tired due to his age, he seemed satisfied and enjoyed himself.

今年76歳の父は、かなりの年齢でしたが、スタッフの方の対応も素晴らしく、また、親切丁寧で、帰ってきたときにとても、楽しかったらしく喜んでました。
年齢的には、とても疲れたようでしたが、楽しかったようで満足しました。

The wind was very strong on the day, so the staff suggested, "Stand-up paddleboarding can be quite difficult because the wind hits your body directly, so surfing might be more enjoyable. What do you think?"

To be honest, I was interested in surfing, but I never thought I would be able to stand on the waves, as I had signed up for stand-up paddleboarding. I appreciated their consideration and decided to challenge myself with surfing for the first time in my life!

First, I received a brief lesson on basic movements on the water at Waikiki Beach, and then it was time to head into the ocean. They taught us in Japanese, saying things like, "Paddle (with your hands)~" and "Stand up~!" which helped me stand nicely on the waves♪

A fellow participant who was surfing for the second time mentioned, "The waves in Waikiki are gentle, so they're easy for beginners to ride." I also never expected to be able to ride the waves so quickly, so I think the staff's teaching skills are excellent! (*＾-＾*)

After all, when you come to Hawaii, you have to enjoy the ocean too, right?♪♪ It's a very easy experience to enjoy surfing since it's within walking distance from the Waikiki Hotel, and there's no need to move the surfboards☆

当日の風がとても強かったので、スタッフの方から「スタンドアップパドルはもろに身体に風が当たってやりにくいので、サーフィンの方が楽しめますけどどうしますか？」と提案されました。
実のところ、サーフィンに興味がありましたがまさか波の上に立てるとは思っておらず、スタンドアップパドルを申し込んでいた私。。。
ご配慮に感謝し、人生初！のサーフィンに挑戦しました！！
最初にワイキキのビーチで簡単な水の上での動作レクチャーを受け、いざ海の中へ☆
日本語で、「漕いで（手で）~」とか「立って~！」とか教えてくれるので、波の上でもいい感じで立つことができました♪♪
一緒に参加した、サーフィン2回目の方が「ワイキキの波は穏やかなので、初心者の方には乗りやすい」と言われていました。
私もまさか！すぐに波の上に乗れるとは思っていなかったので、スタッフの方のティーチングの上手さは素晴らしい！と思っています(*＾-＾*)
やっぱり、ハワイに来たら海の中も満喫しなきゃですよね~♪♪
ワイキキホテルから徒歩で訪れ、サーフボードの移動もないのでとっても楽にサーフィンが楽しめる体験だと思います☆

It was a somewhat cloudy morning, but since we had canoe surfing at 10 AM, there were only a few people on the beach and in the water. We all pushed the heavy canoe surfing onto the sand and then floated it in the sea, after which we started paddling in sync with the person in front of us.

Even when some slightly high waves came, we paddled at a right angle to the waves and made our way out to sea.

While we were out there, we could enjoy a 360-degree view of Waikiki while paddling with our paddles!!

When a slightly higher wave came, we pointed the bow towards the beach. To ride the wave like surfing, we paddled with all our might. And then...

We really glided on the wave, with The Royal Hawaiian ahead of us. To our right was Diamond Head, and to our left was the Halekulani Hotel, among others. I felt so happy as I finished my first wave ride.

After finishing the second wave in the same way, I was surprised that it was already over.

It did say at least two rides, but we had only been doing the activity for 15 minutes!!! I ended it feeling a bit sad.

This activity is great for families and couples. If it's a group of women, the beach boys might be happy to join in?! They might make the wave riding even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend this activity!!!

雲が少々多い朝でしたが、１０時からのカヌーサーフィンだったので、ビーチにも、海にも人はまばら。
重いカヌーサーフィンを皆で砂の上を押し、海に浮かべ、その後、前の人に合わせ漕ぎ始めます。
途中少々高い波がきても波に対して直角に漕ぎ、ある程度沖にでます。

沖に出ているあいだ、パドルで漕ぎながらも３６０度ワイキキの眺めを堪能できます！！

少し高めの波がきたところで船首をビーチ側へ。
サーフィンと同じ容量で波に乗るため、あるったけの力をふりしぼり漕ぎます。そうすると・・・。


本当に滑るように波に乗り、前方にThe Royal Hawaiian。
右手にはダイアモンドヘッド。左手にはハレクラニホテルなどなどなど。
とても幸せな気分で１回目の波乗り終了。

２回目も同様に乗り終わったところで、な・なんと、終了してしまいました。

確かに最低２回と書いてあったけど。まだ、アクティビティを始めて１５分しか経ってない！！！
ちょっと、悲しい気持ちで終了してしまいました。

このアクティビティは、家族もよし、カップルもよし。
女性同士だったらビーチボーイも喜んで？！
もっと波乗りを楽しませてくれるかもしれません。

The canoe is stable, making it easy to head out to sea and enjoy a pleasant surfing experience. I recommend it for couples and families.

安定感があるカヌーで、簡単に沖に出て、気持ちよくサーフィンが体験できました。カップル、ファミリーにお薦め。

Great time, great guide, lots to see and a ton of information!

I chose to go to the Waimea Falls and Botanical Garden and on the Kayak ride...also got to lay around on Waimea Beach and jump off the rock! I had a total blast. The driver/guide was knowledgable and friendly and made sure we all had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone.

On July 30, I participated in the "Stand-Up Paddle Beginner Plan." On the day of the event, I arrived at the meeting point by the poolside of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel at 9:30. After checking in, I waited until the lesson started at 10:00. The staff provided some instructions, and the lesson began. It was my first experience with stand-up paddle surfing, and we started with a simulation on land before finally heading into the ocean. I was nervous at first, but gradually got used to it and was able to stand up and paddle. It was an hour-long lesson that flew by.

7/30「スタンドアップパドル初心者プラン」に参加しました。当日は9：30に集合場所のロイヤルハワイアンホテルのプールサイドに行きました。受付後、10：00時のレッスン開始までスタンバイ。スタッフの方から注意を受けレッスンが始りました。初めて経験する「スタンドアップパドルサーフィン」ですが陸上でシュミレーションを行いいよいよ海に入ります。最初は緊張していましたが、徐々に慣れてスタンドアップ＆パドリングすることができました。あっという間の１時間レッスンでした。

I participated with my husband. It was my first time, but the staff were very kind and taught us well, which made me feel at ease. It seems that the plan was to practice in a nearby river first and then head to the beach once we got used to it, but unfortunately, on the day we participated, we couldn't go to the beautiful beach in Kailua due to strong winds. However, the river was fun, and we had a course where we went upstream and then came back down. While enjoying the scenery around us, the staff provided guided explanations, making it feel like an adventure, and it was really enjoyable. I would like to participate again.

最初は近くの川で練習して慣れてきたらビーチに出るという行程のようですが
参加日は残念ながら強風でカイルアのキレイなビーチには出られませんでした。
でも、川も楽しくて下流から上流に上りまた戻って来るコース。
周りの景色を楽しみながら　スタッフの方のガイド説明もあり冒険みたいな感じでとても楽しかったです。
また参加したいです。
