The horses are very cute, but...

They just walk in a straight line quietly for a long time (there are explanations from the staff and opportunities to talk with them, but you can't converse with your companions), so I got bored after about the first 30 minutes...

I wish we could walk side by side with our companions and chat instead of in a line.

Thinking about it, it might not be worth the price.

I wonder if it's something I really need to do in Hawaii...

Next time I experience this, I would prefer a private course.

馬はとってもかわいいのですが・・・

ずーっとひたすら一列で黙々と歩くので
（スタッフの方の説明があったり、スタッフの方と話すことはありますが、
同行者と話すことはできません）、
最初の３０分くらいで飽きてしまいました・・・。

一列ではなく、同行者と並んで、おしゃべりしながら歩けたらいいなと思います。

そう考えるとお値段に釣り合わないかもです。

わざわざハワイに行ってやらなくてもいいかなと・・・。

今度体験するなら、プライベートコースにしたいと思います。

Family trip to Hawaii for three
We signed up for this tour after our daughter said, "I want to ride a horse."
After a brief five-minute video in Japanese explaining how to ride a horse, the tour started right away.
In addition to us, there was a couple, making a total of five people in the group.
With an experienced guide, we rode through the bush on horseback.
For us, who are not good at English, it was helpful that the guide mixed in Japanese with instructions like "left, right, please stop."
There were ups and downs along the way, and our horse worked hard to climb, making it a thrilling experience.
Especially when we enjoyed horseback riding amidst breathtaking scenery, it felt like we were in a scene from a Hollywood movie.
Participating in this tour created truly wonderful memories for us.
We are sincerely grateful.

家族３人のハワイ旅行
娘の「馬に乗ってみたい」という一言でこのツアーに申し込みました。
日本語による簡単なビデオで、5分ほどで馬の乗り方のレクチャーを受けた後、早速ツアーがスタート。
私たちのほかにカップル（２人）と計５人のグループ
経験豊富なガイドさんと共に、馬に乗ってブッシュの中を進んで行きました。
英語が苦手な私たちには、「左、右、止まってください」と日本語も交えてくださり助かりました。
道中にはアップダウンもあり、お馬さんが頑張って登ってくれて、スリル満点の体験となりました。
特に、息をのむような絶景の中で乗馬を楽しんだ時は、まるでハリウッド映画のワンシーンの中にいるかのような気分でした。
このツアーに参加できて、本当に素晴らしい思い出ができました。
心から感謝しております。

When you think of Hawaii, you might think of the many ocean activities, but the mountain activities are also fantastic. We had an amazing time horseback riding on a trail that felt like dinosaurs could appear at any moment. The horses were all very smart and walked in line without much need for reins. The Japanese guide provided explanations, and there was also a video in Japanese that explained horseback riding, so even if you're not good at English, it's not a problem. I would love to participate again.

ハワイと言えば海のアクティビティが多いですが、山のアクティビティも最高です。
恐竜が出てきそうな山道を家族で乗馬して最高な時間でした。
お馬さんはみんな賢くて手綱裁きはほとんどせずに列に並んで歩いてくれました。
日本の方のガイドさんの説明や日本語のビデオでも乗馬の説明をしてくれるので、英語が苦手でも問題ありません。
また参加したいです。

We left our hotel in Waikiki early and arrived in about 50 minutes. The place we got off at was locked, and upon closer inspection, it seemed a bit different, so we walked a bit further and found a sign that said "Check-In," where we waited. However, even when the meeting time came, they didn't arrive for quite a while and showed up 10 minutes later. The explanation was only in English, and I could only understand a little through gestures. At first, I was scared, but once I got used to it, I was able to enjoy horseback riding while feeling the North Shore breeze.

I was fine, but a foreign participant with us seemed to have some issues. My husband said his butt hurt. It was a valuable experience.

早めにワイキキのホテルを出発したところ50分くらいで着きました。降りたところが鍵がかかっており、よーく見てみるとちょっと違ってたので、先の方に行ってみるとチェックインと書いてあったので、そこで待っていました。しかし集合時間になってもなかなか来ず10分後にきました。説明は英語のみで身振り手振りで何となくしかわからない状態で出発。最初は怖かったですが慣れるとノースショアの風を感じながら、気持ちよく乗馬出来ました。
私は何ともなかったのですが、一緒に参加した外国の方はまたズレ？してました。主人は、お尻が痛いと言ってました。貴重な経験が出来ました。

This time, I had a two-hour horseback riding experience with my grandchildren. We leisurely toured a location that was also used for a movie shoot, making it a wonderful memory for my 70th birthday. Thank you very much! ^ ^

We were the only Japanese people there.
We rode horses in the spacious ranch.
We took a leisurely walk while explaining the grass, flowers, birds, and small animals in simple English.
The horse was calm and smart, so I only needed to control it with the reins when it stopped to eat grass; otherwise, it walked nicely.
We climbed a small hill and took commemorative photos at a scenic spot.
I had a very enjoyable time.

日本人は私達だけでした。
ゆったりと広い牧場内を乗馬。
簡単な英語で草花や鳥や小動物の説明をしながらの散策。
馬が大人しく頭がいいので、途中草を食べるのに止まるのを、手綱で制御するぐらいで、後はちゃんと歩いてくれます。
小高い丘を登り、景色の良い所で記念撮影。
とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, but since the youngest was 7 and the oldest was 69, it was hard to find a place where everyone could ride together. Just when I was about to give up, I found this place!

I signed up for a one-hour course that started at 8:45 AM. We left Waikiki just after 7 AM, stopped at Leonard's to buy and eat malasadas on the way, and arrived at the location just in time for the meeting. We parked in the spacious parking lot and received instructions from the staff at the reception, then signed the waiver.

Wearing helmets was optional for adults, but of course, everyone wore one! We only put our phones and car keys in the provided leather bags. After using the restroom and playing with the goats and sheep in the area, it was suddenly time to start.

Each person was helped onto a horse, and we received a brief explanation on how to ride: pull the reins to stop, turn the reins in the direction you want to go, and give a light kick to the belly if the horse stops moving. Even the 7-year-old was able to ride alone and we set off right away! At first, I was nervous, but the horses were all calm and smart, which made me feel at ease.

There were hills to climb and we weaved through a herd of cows, making it feel like an attraction, which was enjoyable. We could take pictures anytime, but since we had to hold the reins, it was a bit tricky to operate the phone with one hand while turning around to take a shot. It might be difficult for those who aren't used to handling their phone with one hand. The ranch staff took quite a few pictures for us, but they were $8 each, so we decided not to purchase any.

Since we had a child with us, we moved at a relatively slow pace, but I would have liked to ride faster if it were just adults. Also, the 7-year-old was placed at the back, so everyone had to be mindful of the pace, and it would have been best if the adults were at the back instead.

We chose the one-hour course, but it actually lasted over an hour, which was more than enough. By the end, my hips and thighs were shaking! All the staff were women, and the restrooms and animal areas were kept relatively clean, which was quite impressive (though there was a lot of dust). The kids said that horseback riding was the most fun part! I highly recommend it!

ずっとやりたかった乗馬でしたが、下は7歳、上は69歳だったのでなかなか全員で乗馬できるところがなく、諦めかけていたところこちらを見つけました❗️

ワイキキを7時過ぎに出発し、途中レナーズでマラサダを購入し食べならがレンタカーにて現地へ。集合時間ギリギリに到着
広々とした駐車場に適当に駐車して、受付でお姉さんからの説明を受け、免責の書類にサイン。
成人はヘルメット着用が自由でしたが、もちろん全員着用❗️笑
荷物は備え付けの皮の袋へ携帯と車の鍵だけ入れて。
トイレを済ませたり、園内にあるヤギや羊たちと戯れているとあっという間に開始時間に。

1人ずつ馬に乗せていただき、手綱を手前へ引いたらストップ、手綱を曲がりたい方向へ向けたら曲がる、動かなくなったら足で軽くお腹を蹴るなど、軽く乗り方の説明を受けただけて、7歳の子供も1人で乗って早速出発❗️
最初は緊張しましたが、大人しく頭のいい馬ばかりだったので、乗っているこちらも安心できました。
坂道があったり牛の群れの間をすり抜けたり、アトラクション的な感じもあって楽しめます。
写真もいつでも自分たちで撮れます。
が、手綱は持ったままになりますので、片手で携帯を操作し、さらに後ろに振り向いてシャッターを押さないといけませんので、片手で携帯の操作をし慣れてる人じゃないと難しいかなと。
牧場の方もかなり撮ってくれますが、1枚8ドルだったので、購入はせず…
また、子供がいたのでかなりゆっくりのスピードで進んでくれましたが、大人ばかりならもっと早いスピードでも乗ってみたかったかな〜。
それと、7歳の子供が一番後ろに配置されたので、みんなが後ろを気をしながら進まないといけなく、できたら大人を最後にしてもらえたらベストではありました。

今回1時間のコースにしましたが、実質1時間以上あり十分でした。
最後になると股関節も太もももワナワナしてきて笑
スタッフは全員女性で、トイレや動物のいる所も比較的綺麗に保たれており、かなり好感持てました。(砂埃は凄かったですが)
子供達も、乗馬が一番楽しかったと言っていました‼️
めちゃくちゃオススメです‼️

The explanation of horseback riding was easy to understand because there was a Japanese video. As a beginner, I was nervous about falling off, but the horse was very smart, so there weren't any particularly difficult maneuvers. Since it's near the mountains, I thought it would have been good to prepare rain gear like a raincoat, as it suddenly started to rain.

乗馬の説明は日本語ビデオがあったので、分かりやすかったです。初心者なので落馬しないか緊張してましたが、とても賢い馬だったので、難しい操作は特になかったです。山の近くなのでいきなり雨が降ってきたりするため、カッパなどの雨具を用意すれば良かったと思いました。

I was very excited about my first real horseback riding experience, but I felt relieved to be able to watch a video guide in Japanese before riding. The staff were kind and taught me well, making it a fun horseback riding experience. The views of the vast mountains and the sea were absolutely amazing! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Make sure to use sunscreen, as areas like your shoulders and arms can get quite sunburned!

初めての本格的な乗馬体験にとてもドキドキしていましたが乗る前に日本語でのビデオガイドを見ることができ安心しました。
スタッフのかたも親切に教えてくれ楽しい乗馬体験となりました。
広大な山々や海の眺めはとても最高でした！

肩や腕など肌が出てるところはかなり日焼けするので日焼け止め必須です！！

I recommend this for people who enjoy horseback riding! It can be quite thrilling as you pass along the edge of cliffs. As a piece of advice, if you ride for about two hours, your backside might start to hurt, so if that's a concern for you, it's better to skip it! Also, there are times when the horse may not listen, so it's not recommended for those who are short-tempered!

馬に乗るのが好きな人にはオススメです！けっこう崖のギリギリのところとかも通るのでわりとスリルあります！
アドバイスとしてはわりと2時間乗ってるとお尻が痛くなるので嫌な人はやめた方が良いです！あと、馬が言うことを聞かない事もあるので短気な人にはお勧めしません！

I had a horseback riding experience for about two hours, with a great view while being taught how to ride. It wasn't just flat paths; we also went through many narrow trails that felt like cliffs, which made it enjoyable for the long duration. However, I think it does require quite a bit of physical stamina.

馬乗り方をレクチャーされて最高な景色の中で約2時間、乗馬体験ができました！平坦な道のりだけではなく崖のような狭い道も沢山通り長時間だったので楽しかったです。が、わりと体力は必要だと思いました。

The horse understands the course, so it moves without needing much direction. Walking through the vast land on horseback felt great. The views of the sea were especially nice. However, there were many similar forest scenes, which made the time feel longer, so I think I would be satisfied with a more compact route that highlights the attractions. Also, although it's unrelated to the tour, I found that many of the souvenir designs at the gift shop were quite stylish.

馬がコースを理解しているのでとくに指示を出さなくても動いてくれます。
広大な土地を馬で歩くのは気持ちが良かったです。海が見えるところはとくに良かった。
ただ、似たような森の景色の部分も多くあり時間が長く感じたのでもう少し見どころをコンパクトを回るだけでも満足できそう。
あと、ツアーとは関係ないですがお土産屋さんのお土産のデザインが結構センス良いものが多くよかったです。

Last year, I was able to enjoy a horseback riding course that featured scenery from movie filming locations, and I was looking forward to it again this year. However, this year, it ended up being just a two-hour ride along a mountain path, which was disappointing. The people in my riding group were similarly frustrated and said they didn't want to participate again. Is it the instructor who decides the course? Was it just bad luck this year? If possible, please let me know.

昨年は、映画ロケ地の景色も楽しめるコースを乗馬することができ、今年も楽しみに申込したところ、今年は山道を、ひたすら2時間乗馬するだけで終わってしまいガッカリでした。一緒に乗馬したグループの人達も同様に不満を爆発しており、2度と参加したくないと言っていました。コースを決めるのは、インストラクターが決めるのですか。今年は運が悪かっただけなのですか。よかったら教えてください。

A senior couple, a two-hour horseback ride! I was a bit worried if it would be okay, but I had so much fun. Before the ride, the Japanese explanatory video made everything easy to understand and put my mind at ease.

Anyway, the horses are very smart. The staff member led us confidently. The mountain paths with views of the great outdoors, the narrow trails through the grasslands, and the beautiful slopes overlooking the sea were wonderful. When it started to rain partway through, we got excited and said, "Wow, it's like a scene from a movie!" I highly recommend this for seniors.

シニア夫婦、２時間の乗馬！　大丈夫かなっと不安でしたが　＼(^o^)／　とっても楽しめます。乗馬前に日本語での説明映像で分かり安く安心しました。
とにかく《お馬さんがお利口です。》スタッフのお姉さんが、グイグイとリードしてくれます。大自然の山を見上げる山道・草原の細道・綺麗な海に見惚れながらの坂道ステキです。途中で雨が降ってきた事も『わあ〜シナリオ通りみたいだね』と、盛り上がりました。シニアの方々にお勧めしたいです。

I had a horseback riding experience at Kualoa Ranch!

The scenery was beautiful, and I was able to enjoy both the ocean and the mountains! It was my first time riding, and I was a bit anxious, but the staff were kind, and the horse was very well-behaved! I did end up with a bit of back pain, though, haha.

I was also happy that they asked for my preferences regarding the shuttle bus schedule! Thank you very much!

乗馬も初めてで不安でしたがスタッフさんも優しく、馬もとてもいい子でした！

The guide was very unfriendly, and there was almost no explanation or conversation. However, horseback riding in nature felt great! If only the guide had been better, it would have been perfect.

ガイドさんがめっちゃ無愛想で、全く説明とか会話がほぼなかった。ただ大自然の中での乗馬は気持ちが良かった！
ガイドさんさえよければ満点です。

I was worried about being able to ride for two hours, but it went by in no time! The guide was very nice, and although the conversation was only in English, it wasn't inconvenient at all. The horses were also very well-behaved.

Additionally, the guide occasionally took photos and shared them via AirDrop on our way back, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this experience as it creates wonderful memories!

You can store your belongings in a locker, but I recommend keeping some tips in your pocket.

2時間も乗馬できるか不安でしたがあっという間でした！ガイドさんがとてもいい人で会話は英語のみですが特に不便はありません。お馬さんもとてもお利口です。
また、ガイドさんが時折り写真を撮ってくれ帰り際にエアドロップで共有いただけたのが嬉しかったです。最高の思い出ができるのでおすすめです！
荷物はロッカーへ入れますが、チップはポッケに忍ばせることをお勧めします。

I was picked up from the Aloha Landing bus stop at the Sheraton Hotel and participated in the tour. Since I was staying at the Sheraton, it was very convenient.

In Hawaii, eating and drinking are generally prohibited on the bus. I heard that bringing Starbucks coffee is not allowed, so please be careful.

It took about an hour and a half to reach Kualoa Ranch due to traffic and unexpected aggressive driving, and we arrived around 12:00. Perhaps because we were late, as soon as we arrived, my name was called, and I was directed to the horseback riding tour registration. First, I was asked to sign something like a consent form, and I received instructions on how to ride through a video in Japanese. After that, the horseback riding tour started right away.

Horseback riding was fun. Compared to the bus tours and ATV tours, it seemed like the range of activities was narrower, but if you want to take a closer look at the scenery of Kualoa Ranch, I recommend the horseback riding tour.

After the tour ended, I had a little time before the bus departure, so I bought some souvenirs and returned to the hotel. The $1 shopping bag that was recommended at the register is still one of my favorites.

シェラトンに宿泊していたので、とても楽でした。
ハワイでは、基本的にバスの中は飲食禁止です。スタバのコーヒーは持ち込みNGと言われている方がいましたのでご注意ください。

クアロアランチまでは、渋滞とまさかの煽り運転に巻き込まれて、1時間半ほどかかり、到着は12:00ごろになりました。予定より遅れたためか、到着するなり、すぐに名前を呼ばれ、乗馬のツアーの受付に案内されました。
まずは、同意書のようなものにサインを求められ、乗り方などは日本語の動画で説明を受けました。
その後、乗馬ツアーがすぐにスタートしました。

乗馬は楽しかったです。
バスツアーやバギーツアーに比べて、行動範囲は狭いように思いましたが、クアロアランチの風景をじっくりみたい方には乗馬ツアーはおすすめです。

ツアー終了後、バスの出発まで少し時間あったので、お土産を買い、ホテルへ戻りました。
レジでおすすめされた1ドルのショッピングバックは今でもお気に入りです。

At first, I was nervous, but I gradually got used to it and was able to thoroughly enjoy horseback riding. It was my first time riding, but there were no issues. The scenery was amazing, and the staff were very kind.

The horseback riding experience along the beach was very pleasant, and the horses were calm, so I felt safe riding them.

We participated as a couple, and there were five other participants along with two guides. One led the way while the other checked on everyone’s situation and provided support, which was reassuring.

They also take photos at the beach, making for great memories. This is a tour I would like to join again the next time I visit Hawaii.

After horseback riding, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in Haleiwa and explore the shops, so I highly recommend it.

I went horseback riding for two hours!

Riding a horse while surrounded by the beautiful sea on my right and the natural mountains that served as the backdrop for Jurassic World on my left was an experience that you can't have in Japan.

- At first, both my friend and I were scared because the horse was much larger than we imagined, but after about 20 minutes, we grew attached.

- There was a low-rated comment mentioning that the return time was set for 5:00 PM, but I think that's the person's responsibility. In the reservation details, you can choose your preferred departure and return times, and if you respond with something like "anytime is fine," the organizers might prioritize their own schedule. If you want to return at 1:00 PM, just state that, and there won't be any issues.

- The staff who guide you at first can speak Japanese, so there's no need to worry.

- The horseback riding staff only speak English.

- Depending on the horse's personality, some horses can be difficult to control, so it’s a bit of luck. However, it’s enjoyable. My horse dislikes being pulled when told to stop. The horse in front of me often stops suddenly for some reason. My friend's horse is too laid-back and tends to lag behind during the tour, stopping to urinate and defecate three times each.

2時間の乗馬をしました！

右手は、綺麗な海、左手はジュラシックワールドの舞台となった大自然の山々を巡りながら馬を乗るのは日本だとまず味わえない体験になりました。

・最初は、馬が想像以上に大きいので彼女も私も怖かったですが20分もすれば、愛着湧きます。

・低評価コメで、帰りの時間が17:00になった！と記載した方もおりますが、それはその人の責任かと。事前の予約の文面に、行き帰りの希望時間を選択でき、そこの選択欄でどちらでも良い！みたいな回答をすると、主催者側の都合で、後回しにされるので、帰りが13:00希望なら13:00と記載すれば何ら問題ありません。

・日本語が話せるスタッフが最初ガイドするので、不安もいりません。

・乗馬のスタッフは、英語オンリーだそうです

・馬の性格によりきりで、馬のコントロールが難しい馬がいますので、そこは運次第。でも、楽しめます。○私の馬は止まれで引っ張られるのが嫌い。　○私の前の馬は、なぜか急に止まることが多い　○彼女の馬はマイペースすぎて、ツアー中、オシッコとうんちを3回ずつ、行い列から遅れがち　など

Every time I visit Northshore, it's always lively, but this time it was particularly vibrant. There were more Americans than Japanese, which was overwhelming. There are plenty of restrooms in the Haleiwa area, which is reassuring. I wished we could have driven to Turtle Bay... it's a bit of a regret. I found a limited edition Patagonia shirt with a Haleiwa logo and ended up buying a lot. The driver was kind, skilled at driving, and a great person. I would like to request them again. Highly recommended!

My wife and I experienced horseback riding for the first time. I was worried that the two-hour course might be too long for us at 60 years old, but it ended in no time. The scenery was amazing, and I definitely want to participate again next time.

初めて妻と２人で乗馬を体験しました。
２時間コースは６０歳の２人には長いのではないかと心配しましたが、あっという間に終わりました。景色も最高で、次も是非参加したいと思います。

I traveled to Kualoa Ranch by shared sightseeing bus. Since there were many Japanese people, I felt at ease, but I was a bit anxious because the explanations were in English. For the horseback riding experience, there was a staff member who understood a little Japanese, and the video lecture was in Japanese, which was helpful.

Finally, it was time for horseback riding, but the horse I rode was quite stubborn, and we had some trouble starting. However, I was able to enjoy the two-hour ride. The view of the mountains and the sea from the saddle was breathtaking. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, and I felt a bit disappointed thinking about how wonderful it would have been if the weather had been nice. Also, backpacks were not allowed, so I had to put mine in a paid locker, but I wanted to keep my valuables with me. It would be good to have a slightly larger waist pouch.

クアロアランチまでは乗合観光バスで移動しました。日本人の方が多かったので安心でしたが、現地では英語の説明なので若干の不安も感じました。乗馬体験コースの事前説明は日本語の少しわかるスタッフがおり、日本語のビデオレクチャーだったので助かりました。
いよいよ乗馬となったのですが、私の騎乗した馬がなかなか言う事を聞いてくれなく出発に手間取りましたが、何とか2時間の乗馬を楽しむ事が出来ました。騎上から見る山、海は絶景でした。あいにくの雲空でしたが、天気が良かったらどんなに素晴らしいかった事か少し残念でした。それから、リックサックはNGで有料ロッカーに入れましたが貴重品は身に付けておきたいですよね。少し大きめのウエストポーチがあると良いですよ。

I recently went Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours / Standard Daytime Horseback Rides and unfortunately, it was not well organized. The whole experience seemed uncoordinated, and the pictures taken were unusable due to the way we were positioned.

I gave them 3 stars mainly because the two ladies we interacted with were nice enough, and the horses were well-behaved. However, the walk itself was not very scenic, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn't do it again.

The weather was bad with heavy rain, but miraculously, there was a brief break in the clouds during our horseback riding, allowing us to enjoy a ride by the seaside. The course was flat and safe for beginners, with a view of the ocean. I believe we could have enjoyed beautiful scenery if the weather had been nice. We had the classic garlic shrimp from North Shore Tourism in the light rain.

天候が悪く豪雨が続いていましたが、乗馬の時だけ奇跡的に少し晴れ間が見えて楽しく海辺乗馬が出来ました。コースは海の望みながら平坦で初心者でも安心なコースです。天気が良ければ美しいん景色を堪能できたと思います。ノースシュア観光では定番のガーリックシュリンプを小雨の中食べました。

The staff was super nice and informative. I had a good time with my horse Kirk and my fiance was riding Frodo. Absolutely gorgeous views that was easy to take in because the horses are very smart and know the route already.

My first horseback riding experience in Hawaii at Gunstock Ranch became a wonderful memory! The instructors were kind and attentive. (I can't speak English, but I managed just fine!) The horses were gentle and smart, making it easy for beginners like me to ride comfortably. You can feel the richness of the animals living freely on the vast land.

Riding the horses while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery of Hawaii was a fantastic activity!

It took just under two hours to get to Gunstock Ranch by the Bus, but the changing scenery made the time fly by. I’ve decided that the next time I go to Hawaii, I will definitely go horseback riding at Gunstock Ranch again!

ガンストックランチまでは、the Busで2時間弱でしたが移り変わる景色であっという間でした。
また、ハワイに行った際にはガンストックランチで乗馬をすると決めました！

Our tour was impacted by the recent rain and it was reduced from two hours to one hour. I emailed the night before to confirm that the tour was still on and they said it was, but to call and confirm the morning of. I called before we left our hotel and they said that the tour was still on. We picked-up our tickets from the ticket office without issue. However, we were told by the horse stable that the tour would only be one hour long instead of two hours due to trail conditions. I wish somebody told us before we arrived at the stable so that we could try to find another tour, or that they would compensate us for the reduced tour (partial refund, coupon for future tour or rebooked on another tour). The tour guide was great and did their best given the circumstances. Everyone at the stable was welcoming and helpful. When checking-in at the stable, we were told that we could not bring a small backpack on the tour and advised to store them in a locker or leave at the car. This also would have been good to know ahead of time. We understand that there’s nothing that could be done about the weather and we look forward to visiting again.

We headed to Kualoa Ranch by large bus. Since there were Japanese staff on-site, we were able to receive guidance in Japanese. Helmets are required for horseback riding. You can put your smartphone, water, and sunglasses in a small pouch provided on-site (other belongings can be stored in a locker for $5, which you can access freely). However, it's more convenient to hang your smartphone around your neck for quick access to take photos. After watching a brief safety video, we got on right away. Riding without a guide from the start made us a bit nervous at first, but we quickly got used to it since the horses are familiar with the route. Fortunately, during our ride, there were no other customers, so it was just us and our guide, making it feel like a private experience. Normally, it seems that 2-3 groups participate together. Our guide took some photos of us, but it seems that not all guides offer this service, so we were lucky. After horseback riding, we had about an hour to spend, so we enjoyed the surrounding facilities and the ocean (an hour was plenty of time). Overall, we had a great time.

大型バスでクアロアランチまで向かいます。現地では日本人スタッフがいたため、現地の案内は日本語で聞くことができました。乗馬はヘルメットを着用します。持ち物は、スマホとお水とサングラスを、現地で渡される小さいポシェットに入れます(その他の荷物は、5ドル払って開け閉め自由のロッカーに入れます)。ただ、スマホは首から提げていた方がすぐに撮れて便利です。簡単な注意事項のビデオを見た後、すぐに乗り込みました。最初からガイドなしで乗るため、序盤は緊張しますが、馬がルートを熟知しているので、すぐに慣れます。私達が乗った時間の回はたまたま他にお客さんがいなかったたため、私達とガイドさんのみで貸切状態でしたが、普通は2-3組一緒に体験するようです。私達の担当ガイドさんはツーショットを撮ってくれましたが、ガイドさんによってはそういったサービスをしてくれない方もいるようなので、ラッキーでした。乗馬終了後は、1時間くらい時間があったので、周辺施設や海を見ながら過ごしました(1時間あれば十分くらい)。総じて、楽しめました。
