It was an amazing experience and we were pleasantly surprised with the diversity of the trail and how many times we were allowed to canter for stretches of trail where it's safe to do so. Our guide was on top of everything and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.

For horseback riding, you cannot wear a strap around your neck. All belongings except for water, a smartphone, and a camera must be placed in a locker that costs $5 for unlimited access. The locker is large enough for two backpacks.

I participated in December. I didn't have high expectations, but horseback riding in the wonderful scenery where you can see both the sea and the mountains was a valuable experience. It was very exciting to ride up the mountain slopes. I was almost a beginner at horseback riding, but I was able to ride for two hours without any issues.

There are various movie filming locations along the course, so I think movie lovers will enjoy it even more.

Although I participated in December, the weather was nice, and it was quite hot for the two hours. I recommend applying sunscreen if you decide to participate. Also, the person accompanying us during the horseback riding was not Japanese, so all the explanations about the filming locations were in English. Since you are on the horse for two hours, if you're not used to it, your butt and thighs might get sore!

Three days before the Honolulu Marathon, I was wondering if a two-hour horseback riding course would be too much. However, thanks to the very smart horses that knew the entire route and guided us expertly, I had a great time without feeling tired at all.

I found this tour when I was thinking about going to Haleiwa to eat garlic shrimp. I had also wanted to try horseback riding for a while, and riding by the beach sounded wonderful, so I signed up.

Kaz, our Japanese guide, cheerfully talked to us during the drive and introduced the scenery we saw from the car window. The other members of the tour were all nice people, and when they heard it was our honeymoon, they applauded. The horse I rode was a bit mischievous and kept moving forward, which was scary at first, but I got used to it and had a great time. There were two instructors who closely watched over us, which made me feel safe. They also took a lot of pictures along the way!

After returning to Haleiwa, we went to the garlic shrimp food truck recommended by Kaz. Thanks to him making a phone call, we were able to enjoy delicious garlic shrimp without having to wait. This gave us extra time to visit Matsumoto Shave Ice and enjoy some shops. On the way back, instead of just dropping us off at the meeting point, they took us close to our hotel. 日本語ガイドのカズさんは行きの車内で明るくお話して下さり、車窓からの景色の紹介をしてくださいました。ツアーに参加されたメンバーの方も良い方ばかりで、ハネムーンというと拍手して下さいました。乗馬はやんちゃなお馬さんだったのか前へ前へと進んで最初は怖かったのですが、途中から慣れて楽しく過ごせました。インストラクターの方も2人ついてきちんとみて下さるので安心でした。途中写真も沢山撮ってくださいました！ハレイワに戻ってからはカズさんお勧めのガーリックシュリンプのフードトラックへ。電話をかけて下さっていたおかげで美味しいガーリックシュリンプを待たずに食べられました。そのおかげで時間も余裕ができ、マツモトシェイブアイスにも行け、雑貨屋さんなども楽しめました。帰りは集合場所でなく、ホテルの近くまでそれぞれ送ってくださいました。素敵な思い出となりました。ありがとうございました！

It was my first time horseback riding, but there were instructions in Japanese, so it’s a tour that Japanese people can participate in without any issues. We rode for two hours, so my backside got a bit tired, but the scenery was amazing, and it was such a good experience that it felt short! I definitely want to do it again.

It was my first horseback riding experience, and it became the best memory!

I had heard that the instructor only speaks English, but they provided necessary instructions in simple Japanese, so there were no difficulties.
The horse (Joe) was also very capable, moving forward and stopping without needing much direction.
Towards the end, my back and legs started to hurt, so that's something to be cautious about.
(I was checked on-site to ensure I was wearing shoes that covered my toes. They also mentioned that long pants are required, but there were people riding in shorts as well.)

We participated in the horseback riding starting at 8 AM with four people. After seeing everyone's reviews, I noticed that those who had transportation included mentioned having time until the return bus, so we decided to join without transportation. We took a round trip with Hanataxi, and they picked us up on time without any issues.

None of us had horseback riding experience, and our backsides did get sore, but riding on well-trained, gentle horses while enjoying the magnificent scenery for about 90 minutes was a great experience. Our group had one instructor for every six people. Along the way, they took photos for us and sent them via AirDrop at the end, which made for a nice keepsake.

I noticed some participants were wearing shorts, but since the horses frequently relieve themselves, I recommend wearing long pants.

8時からの乗馬に4名で参加しました。皆さんの口コミを見て送迎付きだと帰りのバスまで時間があるとの事だったので送迎なしで参加しました。往復ハナタクシーで行きましたが、予約時間通りに送迎してもらい問題なかったです。
4名共に乗馬経験はなくお尻が痛くなりましたが、訓練された穏やかな馬にのり壮大な景観を見ながら約90分の乗馬はいい経験になりました。私達のグループは6名に一人のインストラクターでした。途中では写真を撮ってくださり最後にエアードロップで送ってもらえていい記念になりました。
短パンで参加されている方もいらっしゃいましたが、頻回に馬が排泄をするので長ズボンがおすすめです。
