Considering the transportation, costs, and time spent in Hawaii, I honestly hesitated before making the reservation. However, my experience was truly amazing, and I was able to enjoy a luxurious time in Hawaii! The scenery and interaction with the horses were unique, and I felt genuinely healed while riding and feeling the warmth of the horses (*^^*).

We debated on transportation, but we decided to rent a car. We were able to stop by shops in Haleiwa and enjoy garlic shrimp from a food truck (it was emotional to have it again after 15 years!) and also visited the Dole Plantation, making for a very fulfilling day that included horseback riding. The instructor spoke entirely in English, but explained things clearly with gestures. The horses were very well-behaved, and we enjoyed a relaxed ride while only lightly holding the reins (^^).

The entrance by car was a bit tricky to find, but once you see the arena, slow down a bit, and you'll find the gate. After entering through the first large gate, you'll soon see the horses. We changed into shoes in the car (my husband wore sneakers, while my daughter and I wore compact flat shoes with belts to avoid bulky luggage) and prepared by signing in and borrowing helmets and storage for our belongings. The storage was a pocket-style that could be placed on the horse's back, fitting a phone, camera, and even a small water bottle. We also got to take photos by the beach, which made for wonderful memories! (The instructor called out at just the right moments.)

We wore long pants, but there was no worry about getting dirty while riding, so we could go shopping afterward. (Since there was a bit of sand blowing, it might be a good idea to bring a change of clothes if you're concerned.) The daytime was fantastic, but I imagine the sunset would offer even more beautiful scenery, so I hope to experience it again!

The theme of this trip was to experience things that can only be done in Hawaii, and this horseback riding experience was perfect for that, creating the best memories for our family! Thank you so much to the wonderful instructor and the adorable horses ( ´ ▽ ` ) mahalo!

現地までの移動やお値段、ハワイでの滞在時間を考えた際、申し込みまで正直悩みました。しかし実際体験できての感想は、本当に贅沢なハワイ時間を過ごすことができて最高でした！！まさしくここでしか経験できない景色とお馬達との触れ合い、乗せてもらってお馬さんの温もりを感じながら本当に癒されました(*^^*)

移動手段で悩みましたが私達はレンタカーで向かい、ハレイワのお店やワゴンのガーリックシュリンプ(15年振りに食べれてそれも感動でした！)やドールプランテーションにも立ち寄れたので乗馬を含めとても充実した1日になりました。
先生はオール英語ではありますが、ジェスチャーなども交えながら分かりやすく説明してくれます。先生についていく感じで本当にお利口なお馬さん達でこちらは手綱を軽く持つ程度でゆったり乗馬を楽しめました(^^)
車での入り口が少し分かりづらいですが競技場がみえてきたら少しゆっくり走行していくとゲートがあり1つ目の大きなゲートの次のところを入っていくとすぐお馬達がみえる感じです。車で靴をシューズ(主人はスニーカー、私と娘は荷物がかさばらないよう少しコンパクトになるベルト付きのフラットシューズ)に履き替え、乗る前にサイン、ヘルメットと荷物入れを借りて準備します。荷物入れはお馬さんの背中に置かせてもらえるポケット式のもので携帯やカメラ、小さいものであれば水筒も入るサイズです。途中浜辺のところで写真も撮ってもらえて最高の記念になりました！！(程よいタイミングで先生が声を掛けてくれます)
服装は長ズボンになりますが乗った際に汚れてしまうようなことはなくそのまま買い物などできました。(若干砂が舞うので気になる方は着替えを持参されるといいかもです)
日中も最高でしたがサンセットの時間はさらにいい風景なのだろうと思うので、また体験できたらと思いました！

ハワイでしか体験できないことをが今回の旅行のテーマだったので、こちらでの乗馬体験はまさしくそれにぴったりで、家族の最高の思い出になりました！！

Everyone participating was Japanese, so I felt at ease. I participated with my partner horse, Shea, who was so cute. ❤️❤️ Sometimes she would trot a bit, but she listened well and was absolutely adorable. It was the best experience! The guide also spoke to us in broken Japanese, which was fun. The shuttle bus was cold on the way there but hot on the way back. I want to go again!!!!!!!

I wanted to experience activities other than the beach in Hawaii, so I participated in this tour. It was great to have round-trip transportation included since it was too far to go on my own from Honolulu.

When I went to the horseback riding area at the meeting time, I was in a group with five Americans and myself. I was guided to watch a Japanese explanation video, and then we set off on a two-hour tour with the other five.

The staff selected horses that seemed well-suited to each person's physique and age.

During the two-hour journey, they frequently asked if I was okay. Being Japanese, I answered "I'm fine," but the other Americans openly expressed their discomfort, mentioning knee and back pain. When I mentioned that my knee was slightly hurting, they adjusted the stirrup length for me. Once my foot position was lowered and my knee was slightly extended, it became quite comfortable. So, if you feel any discomfort while riding, I think it’s good to communicate that without hesitation.

2時間の行程の途中で、たびたび大丈夫？と聞いてくれるので、日本人的に「大丈夫」と答えていたのですが、他の米国人達は膝が痛いとか腰が痛いとか遠慮せずに色々言っているので、私も膝が少し痛む旨伝えたところ、あぶみの長さを調整してくれました。足の位置が下がって膝が少し伸びるとかなり快適になったので、乗馬中に身体の痛みなどが気になったら、遠慮せず伝えてみると良いと思います。

途中途中で風景の説明などをしてくれましたが、6名の馬がやや離れて歩いているので、一番後ろの私の位置では声が遠く、私の英語力ではかすかに聞こえる英語を聞き取るのは難しかったので、あまり気にせず雄大な風景にどっぷりつかって乗馬を楽しみました。それでもスタッフの方は（6人グループに2人のスタッフがついてくれます）ハワイは初めて？とか、乗馬は？とか色々声をかけて気遣ってくださいました。

2時間はかなりたっぷりな時間で思う存分クアロアを楽しめました。
牧場ビーフを使ったハンバーガーや、ココナッツの殻に凍らしてあるシャーベットなど、美味しかったです！

My horse seemed to be older and was tired during the latter half, walking slower than the other participants. On steep inclines, it almost slipped, and since it’s a living creature, I couldn't rush it. However, I was also mindful not to fall too far behind, as it could inconvenience the other participants.

Overall, the horses were calm and knew the route, so even though it was my first time riding, I was able to complete the course without any issues.

After the horseback riding, I appreciated that the guide shared the photos he took along the way via AirDrop.

We participated with three middle and high school students and my spouse. Although it was a long two hours, the scenery was beautiful, and the horses were very smart, making it an enjoyable experience. Once you start riding, it's non-stop for two hours. Make sure to use the restroom beforehand. Also, if you're not comfortable with hard seats, you might experience pain in your buttocks or the tops of your legs towards the end. I also felt some discomfort in my rear during the latter part. My wife and two children rated it as the best activity of our trip. The guide hardly spoke any Japanese, but I think if you watch the Japanese explanation video beforehand, it shouldn't be a problem for those who don't understand English regarding horseback riding. Additionally, only waist bags are allowed while riding. Other types of bags should be stored in nearby paid coin lockers or left at the reception desk (we had to leave ours at the reception due to a locker malfunction, so it's best to avoid bringing valuables).

There is an English sign at the dismounting area that says, "If you enjoyed and are satisfied, please consider tipping." I think a tip of around 15% is generally expected.

中高生3人と夫婦で参加。2時間という長時間ですが景色も良く、お馬さん達も大変賢く楽しむ事ができました。一度乗馬すれば2時間ノンストップです。トイレはしっかりと事前に済ませましょう。また、硬い椅子が苦手な方は後半お尻や足の付け根が痛くなります。当方も後半お尻が痛くなりました。妻と子供2人からは旅行中のアクティビティとしては最高評価でした。ガイドさんはほぼ日本語は通じませんが、事前の日本語説明ビデオを見れば英語が分からない方でも乗馬に関しては問題ないと思われます。また、乗馬の際にはウエストバックのみ着用可能です。他の形状のバック類は近くの有料のコインロッカーか、受付フロントに預けましょう（私たちはロッカー故障で仕方なく受付預かりにしました、極力貴重品は持って行かない方がいいです）。
「楽しめて満足できたらチップをよろしくね」と馬から降りる場所に英字の看板があります。原則15％～程度ののチップは必要かと思います。

You can take photos with your phone using one hand, as long as you keep your left hand on the reins, but it's a good idea to prepare something to hang around your neck for added security. Additionally, large backpacks and hats will need to be stored in coin lockers that allow for multiple entries. Regarding horseback riding abroad, there are Japanese-language explanations provided in advance, and the horses are familiar with the tour routes, so I think beginners will be just fine. (This may not be limited to this experience, but in general, for beginner horseback riding, it doesn't feel like you are controlling the horse.)

First, regarding the start time, it's not a day off even if no one is there; it's just that the tour hasn't returned yet, so it's okay to wait. Hawaii is relaxed about time! Don't worry about it.

Relaxing horseback riding on the white sands of the North Shore. The horses were so smart, I can only say it was the best.

I have participated in other famous horseback riding programs in the past, but I preferred this one.

I'm worried that it might become too popular and hard to book, but it was absolutely amazing, so I highly recommend it to everyone.

I rode a horse for the first time. I was scared because it was such a big animal, but by the end, I was able to pet its neck and nose. The scenery was also wonderful, making it a great memory. I had a reservation at 12:00 and arrived around 11:30, where I received a general briefing before heading to each activity. They advised us to arrive at least 15 minutes early, and if you were even a little late, they would start without waiting. Before that, I was told to put my backpack and other belongings in a locker, but the available lockers were broken and empty... With only five minutes left until the meeting time, I was anxious, but I explained the situation to the staff who gave the briefing and was able to hand my things directly to them. I accidentally left my valuables inside, which worried me, but they were returned safely after the tour. There is a small pouch holder on the horse's saddle, so you can put a small pouch (about the size of a sacoche) and water there. When I arrived at Kualoa Ranch by bus, it was drizzling, and at times it got stronger, so I was worried about whether we could enjoy the experience. However, after borrowing a raincoat, it cleared up and I was able to comfortably participate in the tour!

There was one instructor and about six participants, including myself, and we rode horses for about an hour and a half. We were able to enjoy the vast nature while visiting the filming locations of movies. The horses were very well-behaved and participated in the tour calmly, mostly without needing much direction from us.

The tour was conducted in English. Before participating, there were staff members who spoke Japanese, so they confirmed the meeting place and time for me, allowing me to join without any trouble or confusion!

After the horseback riding, we had some time before the return bus, so I looked at souvenirs and bought some drinks and ice cream to enjoy.

I didn't request a shuttle and took the bus from Ala Moana Shopping Center. Along the way, an employee wearing a Kualoa T-shirt got on, which gave me a strange sense of reassurance. There were already Jurassic Park-like mountains on the bus ride, and I was amazed. The bus was extremely cold!!

When it was time for horseback riding, we gathered at the barn. When they asked about my English skills and I said I wasn't good at it, they showed us a video for Japanese speakers on a monitor. 送迎は頼まず、アラモアナショッピングセンターからバスで行きました。途中でクアロアのTシャツを着た従業員の方が乗ってきたのでなんとも言えない安心感。
バスの道中ですでにジュラシックパークっぽい山がありおお～～～ってなってました。バスは異常に寒いです！！
乗馬の時間になったので小屋に集まり、英語は？と聞かれ苦手というとモニターで日本人用のビデオを見せてくれました。
私達の他に2組お客さんがいて計6人で出発。山の中を歩いたり草原を歩いたり海が見えたりと景色が変わるのは楽しかったですが、、肝心のジュラシックパークがいつまで経ってもでてこない！！そういうルートもあるようです。。すごく残念でした。

スマホで写真撮ったり動画撮ったりくらいの余裕はあります。
