Horseback riding while fully enjoying the magnificent scenery was amazing!! I was a bit anxious since it was my first time, but the horse was so smart that all my worries disappeared! It's something you can't experience in Japan, so I definitely recommend it.

I was anxious about my English, but the Japanese staff explained everything, including the meeting point, and there were explanatory videos in Japanese, which made me feel at ease participating!

During the horseback riding, it was all in English, but they used easy-to-understand words, so there was no problem at all! They were very kind and even took pictures for us!

The horses are smart, so they stop and go along with the horse in front of them without needing us to give instructions!

The scenery was amazing, and I was able to ride for two hours in the great outdoors, which was a valuable experience that I can't have in Japan!

Since it was an afternoon experience, by the time we finished, the cafeteria was closed, and I regretted not being able to eat the Kualoa Burger >_<.

英語が不安でしたが、最初の集合場所などのは日本人スタッフの方が説明してくれたり説明動画も日本語で安心して参加できました！
乗馬中は英語のみでしたがわかりやすい単語などで話してくれるので全く問題なかったです！！
写真もとってくれたりとても親切でした！

馬も賢いのでこちらが指示しなくても前の馬に合わせて止まったり進んだりしてくれます！

景色も最高な大自然の中2時間も乗馬ができ、日本では体験できない貴重な経験になりました！！

昼からの体験だったので終わった頃にはカフェテリアがcloseしていてクアロアバーガーが食べれなかったのが心残りです>_<

I booked a shuttle service. Excitedly, I went to the meeting point, but the shuttle didn’t arrive even when the time came. I thought there might be traffic, but I couldn’t get through on the phone, and feeling sad, I returned to the hotel and called again, only to be told that my reservation hadn’t gone through and was scheduled for another day. I was stunned, and I had to quickly come up with other plans for that day, but to be honest, my schedule was disrupted. Since it was rescheduled for another day, my plans for that day changed as well. When I went on the scheduled day, the shuttle didn’t arrive again at the appointed time, and I was astonished. When I called, they hurriedly came after a while. I was exhausted from the morning. They were speaking English fluently, but there wasn’t even a single word of apology.

待ち合わせの場所にいきました。が時間になっても送迎が来ませんでした。
渋滞しているのかと思いながら、電話も通じなく、悲しくホテルに戻って電話をしなおしたら、予約が取れていなくて、他の日になっていると言われました．(全部英語)
唖然として、その1日は急遽他の事をしましたが、はっきり言って、スケジュールが崩れました。
他の日になってしまった為にその日もスケジュールが変わりました．
又、予定日に行ったら、また予定の時間になっても来なくて、あきれて、電話したらしばらくして慌てて来ました．朝からめちゃくちゃつかれました。英語でベラベラ話してましたが、すいませんの一言もなかったです。

I would heartily recommend this activity.
Everyone, from the check-in, to the trail ride staff, and visiting the animals after the ride were amazing.
As a very novice rider, I was well instructed and had a great ride.

The scenery description was in English.
The meeting time was around 8 o'clock, but there was a lot of waiting time, and we returned to Waikiki around 5 o'clock. You might want to think of it as a full-day activity.
During the waiting time, we were able to enjoy ourselves by going to a nearby beach and looking at souvenirs.

景色の説明は英語でした。
8時ごろの集合でしたが、待ち時間が多く、ワイキキに帰ったのは17時ごろでした。1日かかると思た方がいいかもしれません。
待ち時間は近くのビーチに行ったり、お土産をみたり、それなりに楽しく過ごせました。

It was my first visit to Kualoa Ranch in 30 years. I still have the impression from my last visit that the horses are very intelligent, and I feel the same way this time. I was able to enjoy a happy two hours of horseback riding in a location that is hard to experience in Japan. The guide was also very pleasant. It was the perfect experience for someone like me who loves Westerns and has always wanted to ride a horse in the great outdoors.

30年ぶりのクアロアランチでした。
前回、お馬さんがとっても賢いというイメージが残っていましたが、今回も同感です。
日本ではなかなか味わえないロケーションで、2時間も乗馬を堪能できるという幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。
ガイドの方も感じが良かったです。
西部劇が好きで、大自然の中で馬に乗ってみたいな、と思っていた自分にはピッタリの体験でした。

It was amazing to enjoy two hours of horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch! The initial meeting place and other explanations were provided by a Japanese person, and from the actual horseback riding onward, the guide spoke only in English. They communicated directions like "left" and "right" in Japanese, but everything else was explained in English! (I think it might vary depending on which guide you get.)

The horses each seemed to have different personalities, and it appeared that the order in which they walked the course changed depending on the day. I was at the front, but the guide didn't always walk right in front of me, so there were times when I had to properly control the reins and change direction myself!

The horses were very smart, and I was able to enjoy the natural surroundings and horseback riding in a relaxed manner for the full two hours! The items you can bring while riding are drinks and smartphones, but you are advised to never let go of the reins with your left hand for the entire two hours. So, basically, you will be drinking water or using your smartphone with one hand! You also need to be careful not to drop your smartphone, as you can't pick it up while riding!

2時間乗馬しながらクアロアランチを楽しむことができ最高でした！
最初の集合場所などの説明は日本人の方が行い、実際の乗馬からは英語のみのガイドになりました！
進行方向を教えてくれる右左などの単語は日本語で話してくれましたが、それ以外は英語で説明でした！(たぶんどのガイドさんがついてくれるのかで変わると思います)
お馬さん達もそれぞれ性格が違うようで、その時によって誰がどの順番でコースを歩くのかは変わるようです
(私は先頭だったのですが、常にガイドさんが私の前で歩いていくれているわけではないので、自分手綱をちゃんとコントロールして方向を変えないといけない時がありました！)
お馬さん達も非常に賢く、2時間自然も乗馬もゆったり楽しみながら過ごすことができました！
乗馬中に持ち込める荷物は飲みものとスマホなどでしたが、左手で持つ手綱は2時間絶対離さないようにと注意を受けるので、
基本的には片手で水を飲んだり、スマホを使ったりすることになります！
スマホも落とすと乗馬中は拾えないので、絶対落とさないように注意が必要です！

I was a bit anxious because my English isn't very good, but when I arrived, the Japanese staff explained the meeting point for the tour, the location of the restrooms, and what to bring. The staff for the horseback riding tour spoke English, but some of them spoke a little Japanese and used simple words to make things clear, which was very kind of them. There was also a Japanese video prepared for the horseback riding instructions.
The horses are very smart and will move and stop in sync with the horse in front of them without needing much direction from us.
However, each horse seems to have its own personality; the horse I rode wanted to eat grass right away, making it difficult to pull on the reins, and my arms started to hurt. I was a bit scared that it would lean forward to eat grass and I might fall off.
The scenery was beautiful, and the experience of horseback riding in nature was a valuable one.

英語があまりできないので少し不安でしたが、現地につくと日本人のスタッフの方がツアーの集合場所やトイレの場所、持ち物等の説明してくれます。乗馬ツアーのスタッフの方は英語でしたが、少し日本語を話してくれる方がいたり、わかりやすいように単語で言ってくれたりとみなさん親切で、乗馬の説明は日本語のビデオが用意されていました。
馬はとても賢く、こちらが指示しなくても前の馬に合わせて進んだり止まったりしてくれます。
ただ馬によって個性があるようで、私が乗った馬はすぐに草を食べようとするので手綱を引くのが大変で腕が痛くなり、草を食べようと前傾姿勢になるので落ちるのではと少し怖かったです。
景色はとても綺麗で大自然の中での乗馬体験は貴重な経験になりました。

Horseback riding while enjoying the vast scenery was amazing. It was a solid two hours of non-stop riding, with no breaks in between. There was hardly any time to relax. Make sure to use the restroom beforehand. Your butt and legs can get quite tired; researching how to ride might help ease that. The staff members were all wonderful. The accompanying staff took photos along the way and transferred them to my phone afterward. When I come back, I don't think I'll want to try other activities since I already rode last time; I still want to ride again. For such an experience, the price was more than satisfactory.

広大な景色を見ながらの乗馬は最高でした。
2時間みっちりのノンストップ、途中下馬なし。
気を抜く暇はほぼ無いです。
トイレは必ず済ませて起きましょう。
お尻と脚はなかなか疲れます、乗馬の仕方など調べて挑むと軽減されるのかもしれません。
スタッフの皆さんも素敵な方ばかりです。
付き添いのスタッフの方が途中写真を撮ってくれて、終わった後に携帯へ転送してくれます。
また来た時は、前回乗馬はしたから他のアクティビティをとは思わず、まだ乗馬をしたいと思います。あれだけの体験でこの価格は十分に満足できました。

In Japan, horseback riding experiences usually last about 10 to 20 minutes, but here you can enjoy a longer ride! You can bring items like your phone or a plastic bottle. If you have a bag that you can attach to your waist, it's also okay to bring that.

The local staff seemed to speak some simple Japanese, and they kindly said things like, "Sister, hold the reins." They were very nice. The horses looked calm, so I didn't feel scared at all. I had a great time experiencing this that day! Thank you very much!

I forgot about the tip... I had put my wallet in the locker, and the staff member who helped me went off to her next job quickly, so I couldn't give it in the end. It might be a good idea to keep some cash for tips in your pocket. That way, you can hand it over smoothly after the horseback riding experience.

Experiencing horseback riding in such a beautiful setting has truly become a wonderful memory! If you're hesitating, I definitely recommend signing up. I think it will become a lovely memory! ♡

日本では10〜20分程度の乗馬体験が多いですが、ここは時間たっぷり乗馬が体験できます！！携帯、ペットボトル位であれば持ち込み可。腰につけるタイプのカバンなら持ち込んでもOKでした。
現地のスタッフさんは簡単な日本語を話せるみたいで「オネエサン、タヅナヒイテ」等声をかけてくれました。とっても優しかったです。馬も穏やかそうで怖い思いはしませんでした。この日は楽しく体験することができました！ありがとうございました！！
チップの事を忘れてしまっていて…財布はロッカーにいれちゃったし担当してくれたお姉さんはすぐ次のお仕事に行っちゃったしで…結局渡せませんでした。自分のポケットにチップ分のお札をいれておくといいかもしれません。そしたら乗馬体験が終わったらスマートに渡せると思います。
最高な景色の中で乗馬を体験できるのは本当にいい思い出になりました！迷ってる方はぜひ申し込んでみてください。素敵な思い出になると思います♡

There are Japanese staff members, and there are videos and explanations available for Japanese visitors, so it's reassuring! The horseback riding experience goes by in just two hours. It seems that the speed and course can vary depending on the horse's mood that day, so for those who absolutely want to see the filming of the movie, I recommend the bus tour or the buggy ride. It was great to enjoy the beautiful scenery and experience something out of the ordinary, but my knees and back... haha, just a heads up that it will catch up with you later. I would love to experience it again if I have the chance! ^_^

日本人スタッフの方がいたり、日本の方向けにビデオや説明書きがあるので安心です！
乗馬体験は2時間あっという間です。お馬さんのご機嫌でスピードやその日によってコースが違うようなので、映画の撮影を絶対に見たい！という方にはバスのツアーやバギーの方がおすすめです。
綺麗な景色をみて非日常感を味わえてよかったのですが、膝と腰が…笑　後々きますのでご注意ください。機会があればまた体験したいです^_^

I had the best experience riding horses in a wonderful landscape!

However, the transportation was disappointing. I didn't know that there were only a limited number of buses at specific times, and there was no prior explanation about this. It was only when I arrived on the day that I was handed a paper stating the time of my return bus. Since I wasn't informed in advance, I couldn't even cancel.

Of course, I can tolerate some waiting time, but this was beyond reasonable. It was terrible to wait for over 2.5 hours for the shuttle bus with nothing to do! If the schedule was going to be like that, I would have liked to know beforehand.

Since it was such a waste of time, I called an Uber and went home immediately. I asked if I could get a refund since I didn't take the bus, but I was told there would be no refund due to the cancellation policy. I thought they should have informed us about the shuttle bus waiting for nearly three hours, but there was no point in saying anything, so I just accepted it.

The transportation fee for a large tour bus carrying many people was quite high. If there are multiple people, it's much cheaper, faster, and more efficient to use Uber for round trips.

What should have been a great experience was tarnished by poor management.

素晴らしい風景の中を乗馬ができ、最高の体験でした！

ただ、残念なのが送迎。
指定時間に決められたバス本数のみの送迎だとは知らず、そういった事前説明もなし。当日現地についてから、あなたの帰りの送迎バス時間は何時ですと
書かれている紙を渡されて初めて知ります。事前に知らないのでキャンセルすることすらできません。

もちろん多少の待ち時間は許容できますが、常識を超える長さ。
やることもないのに、ただただ2.5時間以上も送迎バス待機はあまりにひどい！
そういう時間スケジュールになるのなら、事前に教えていただきたかった。

あまりに時間が無駄なので、Uberを呼んですぐ帰りました。
バスに乗らないから返金してほしいときいてみましたが、
当日キャンセルだから返金はないとキャセルポリシーを説明されました。
じゃ、3時間ちかく待たせる送迎バスですと事前に知らせてよって思いましたが、言っても仕方ないので泣き寝入り。

送迎料金が大型観光バスで大人数を運ぶのに、かなりの高額。
複数人いるならUberで往復いくほうが、安くて圧倒的に速く効率的。

せっかくの良い体験のはずが、運営がよくなくて印象が損なわれました。

I chose the 2-hour horseback riding course.
The weather was nice, and the location was perfect.
Unfortunately, the staff accompanying us only spoke English, and I couldn't understand the explanations.
They also took photos for us, which was really great!

2時間乗馬コースにしました。
天気も良く、最高のロケーションでした。
同行してくれるスタッフが英語しか話せない人で説明してくれるのですが分からず、残念でした。
写真も撮ってくださり、すごくよかったです！

The horses were quite large, and I was nervous at first, but I gradually got used to it and was able to enjoy both the horseback riding and the surrounding scenery. The guide was very supportive and incredibly cute, which made the experience enjoyable throughout. Each horse had its own personality; mine was very smart, as it was in the lead, my son's horse was a glutton and a bit impatient, my husband's horse was the calmest and most experienced, and my daughter's horse was quite laid-back. After the horseback riding, we had a lively discussion about the horses. My son, who rode the gluttonous horse, was desperately trying to control the reins to stop its appetite, and he ended up with blisters on his hands!

By the way, I had no time to take photos, which is my only regret. The tour itself was wonderful, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of both the sea and the mountains.

Additionally, the Kualoa Burger ($15) we had at the attached cafeteria was exquisite. I regretted not bringing a light jacket because the shuttle bus was quite air-conditioned. The lockers ($5) were convenient as they allowed for all-day access, and credit card payments were accepted. You can bring a water bottle or smartphone in a bag attached to the horse, but there’s no time to drink slowly. Photos can only be taken with one hand, so balance is essential—no dropping allowed.

Our schedule was efficient with a 10 AM pickup, horseback riding at 12:30 PM, and a bus departing at 3:45 PM. However, since there’s a beach within walking distance, I’d like to allow more time to visit it next time. The buggies also looked interesting, so I’d like to try those as well. The burger is a must for next time!

お馬さんがかなり大きくて初めは緊張しましたが徐々に慣れて乗馬も周りの景色も楽しむ余裕が出てきました。ガイドのお姉さんが一生懸命サポートしてくれましたし、とってもキュートな方だったので終始楽しかったです。お馬さんはそれぞれ個性があって、私のお馬さんは先頭を任されるだけあってとても賢い子、息子はその後ろで食いしん坊でせっかちなお馬さん、パパの馬は一番落ち着いててベテランな感じ、娘のお馬さんはかなりののんびり屋さん。乗馬が終わってからもお馬さん談義に花が咲きました。特に食いしん坊なお馬さんに乗っていた息子は彼の食欲を止めるのに手綱を必死で操り手にマメができました笑　
ちなみに写真を撮る余裕は私には全くなく、唯一の心残りです。ツアー自体は景色は海も山も自然を大満喫できて素晴らしかったです。

その他
併設のカフェテリアで食べたクアロアバーガー（$15）は絶品でした。
送迎バスはかなりエアコンがきいてたので羽織ものを持っていけばよかったと後悔しました。
ロッカー（$5）は1日開閉自由なので便利だと思います。クレジットカード払い可。
お馬さんに付けるバッグにペットボトルやスマホを入れて持っていけるけれどゆっくり飲む時間はないです。写真も片手で撮れる方のみ。バランス必須。落とすの厳禁。
我が家は10時pickup、乗馬12時半予約、15時45分発バスで無駄がないスケジュールでしたが、歩いていけるところにビーチがあるので、今度行くときはもう少し時間に余裕を持たせてビーチまで足を伸ばしたいなと思いました。バギーも面白そうだったのでそちらもやってみたいです。バーガーは次回も欠かせません。

We participated in a two-hour horseback riding experience with three family members. The pickup was a bit early at 7:30 AM, but it was quite popular, with two large buses completely full (a group of people going to Kualoa Ranch, not just for horseback riding).

Upon arrival, the Japanese group gathered with a Japanese staff member who explained the starting procedures, shops, and restrooms. We were informed that only a waist bag could be worn while riding (backpacks are not allowed; smartphones and drinks can be placed in a bag attached to the saddle), so we needed to use a locker. However, when I tried to pay with a card, the touch sensor was overly sensitive, and I couldn't complete the transaction, but the Japanese staff member helped me out. In the end, I paid with cash... $5 felt a bit steep.

After that (from here, it was in English), we reviewed the safety instructions, signed a consent form, watched a Japanese explanation video, and then began riding. I had never done proper horseback riding before, but the horses were smart and moved in a single file. My elementary school daughter had no trouble at all.

We walked slowly through the forest and entered the world of Jurassic World. Besides horseback riding, there were buggies, buses, and bicycles, but the horses leisurely moved through the backyard where those vehicles couldn't go. So, the buggy group looked like a gang of speeders!

Honestly, I didn't remember much about Jurassic World, but the weather was nice, and the scenery was magnificent and beautiful, which was moving. The horseback riding didn't cover all the filming locations of the movie, so for those who want to visit the filming sites, I think it's better to join a dedicated tour (by bus?).

The two hours flew by! The horse I rode, Dino, was a bit crazy and often stopped or tried to turn around, but it was still very comfortable. Each horse has its own personality.

As expected, when getting off the horse, my legs didn't move well, and I felt a bit wobbly. My backside was a little sore too! We had lunch before the return bus, but surprisingly, there wasn't much time.

While I thought a buggy ride would be nice next time, the scenery and atmosphere while horseback riding was truly an exceptional experience, so I would love to go again.

家族3人で2時間の乗馬体験に参加しました。
朝7:30と少し早いピックアップでしたが、大型バス2台が満員の人気振り。
（乗馬に限らずクアロアランチに行く人達の集団）
到着すると日本人グループは日本人スタッフの方に着いて集合し、それぞれの開始方法やお店、トイレの説明をしてもらえます。
乗馬はウエストバッグしか付けられない（リュックとかはダメ。スマホや飲み物は鞍に付けられる袋を借りて入れられます）とのことで、ロッカーに入れる必要があるんですが、カードで払おうとするとタッチセンサーの感度がよすぎてうまく払えなく、ここも日本人スタッフの方がお手伝いしてくれました。結局、紙幣で払ったんですが・・・。5ドルはちょっと高いな。
その後（ここからは英語）注意事項を見て、同意のサインして、日本語の説明ビデオを見て乗馬開始。
ちゃんとした乗馬したことはなかったんですが、お馬さんはかしこいのでちゃんと1列で進んでくれます。小学生の娘でも全然平気。
ゆっくり歩いて森の中を進み、ジュラシックワールドの世界へ。
乗馬以外にバギーやバス、自転車が走っていますが、馬はそれらが入れないバックヤードをのんびり進んでいきます。なのでバギー隊が暴走族に見えますw
正直ジュラシックワールドはあんまり覚えてなかったですがw、天気もよく、景色が壮大で綺麗だったので感動しました。
乗馬は映画のロケ地を全部回る訳ではなかったので、ロケ地巡りがしたい方はそれ専用のツアー（バス？）に行かれた方がいいと思います。
2時間はあっという間！
私の乗った馬、ディノ君はクレージーだったらしく、よく立ち止まったり、Uターンしようとしたりしましたが、全然快適でした。個性ありますよね。
お約束は馬から降りるときに足がうまく動かず、がくっとなります。おしりも少し痛いw
帰りのバスまではお昼ご飯食べてましたが、意外と時間は少なかったです。
次はバギーもいいなと思いつつ、乗馬しながらのあの景色、雰囲気は本当に格別な体験だったのでまた行きたいと思いました。

I signed up for a horseback riding experience.

The horses were adorable, the scenery was beautiful, and it was so much fun!!

The horses were very smart and gentle, so I felt no anxiety while riding.

I was told their names, so I tried calling them out a lot ^_^

We took photos with the ocean in the background, which became great memories.

Also, the driver who accompanied us on the tour shared a lot of knowledge about Hawaii while we were in the car, which was really educational.

He talked about the Hawaiian language, Hawaiian plants, recent tourism trends in Hawaii, and the labor shortage, among other things. It was interesting since I don't often have the opportunity to learn about these topics.

For lunch, I wanted to go to Giovanni's for garlic shrimp, but I was taken to a different restaurant. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to try Giovanni's. Since the horseback riding took a bit longer, we had less time to eat and had to rush.

I think we only had about 30 minutes to explore Haleiwa Town.

However, I was very satisfied with the day because the horseback riding was so enjoyable.

乗馬体験がしたくて申し込みました。

馬が可愛くて、景色も良くて、とーっても楽しかったです！！

馬はとても賢くおとなしく、
乗っていても不安はなかったです。

名前を教えてもらったので、たくさん呼びかけてみました^_^

海を背景に写真も撮ってくれていい思い出となりました。

またツアーについてくれたドライバーさんが、
車の中でハワイの知識を沢山教えてくれてすごく勉強になりました。

ハワイ語についてや、ハワイの植物、最近のハワイ観光事情や、人手不足のことなど、、
なかなか知る機会がないので面白かったです。

お昼に食べたガーリックシュリンプはジョバンニに行きたかったのですが違うお店に連れてってもらいました。ジョバンニを食べてみたかったのでちょっと残念。乗馬も少し時間がおしたせいか、食べる時間が少なく大急ぎで食べました。

ハレイワタウン散策も３０分くらいしかなかったと思います。

ただ乗馬がとても楽しかったので満足な1日でした。

I signed up for the session on Sunday at 9:00 AM (meeting at 8:30 AM).

【About Transportation】
- Since it was mentioned in the introduction that it takes 90 minutes from Waikiki, I caught an Uber after 7:00 AM, but it seems that Sunday mornings are less busy, and I arrived in just an hour.
- There was no one at the check-in location, and the Uber driver, seeing a sign that said "If no one is here, please call this number," kindly made a call, but the staff did not arrive immediately and showed up only after the meeting time. From this, I think it’s not necessary to arrive before the meeting time, just like in Japan, although it may depend on the day and circumstances.

【About the Experience】
- It was interesting to enjoy both mountain and ocean views. At the end of the horseback riding, they took a few pictures with my phone. I appreciated being able to feed the horses and interact with them after the experience.
- However, the horseback riding itself was only about an hour, and including explanations, it lasted 1.5 hours. I chose this experience thinking it would be 1.5 hours of riding, so that was a bit disappointing.
- On this day, everyone except me was a native speaker, and all explanations were in English. During the horseback riding experience, we enjoyed conversations in groups centered around the instructor.

【Other Notes】
- It might be good to wear long sleeves in the morning as it can be cold on the mountain side.
- A hat is not necessary, but I think sunglasses would be helpful as it can be bright.
- If you are uncomfortable touching the reins with bare hands, it might be a good idea to bring work gloves.
- Tips were given in a box.
- After horseback riding, I took an Uber to Haleiwa, enjoyed some food and shopping, and then returned home by The Bus. For those who are not driving, I recommend taking an Uber for the outgoing trip, which is more predictable, and then using The Bus for the return trip to save a bit.

【移動について】
・紹介文などにワイキキから90分かかると記載されていたため7時過ぎにUberを捕まえて向かいましたが、日曜朝は空いているのか1時間で着きました。
・チェックイン場所に誰一人おらず、「誰もいなければここに電話するように」と書かれた看板を見たUberの運転手さんが心配に思ったのか、電話をかけてくださいましたが、スタッフはすぐ来ることはなく、集合時間になってから来られました。
これらから、もちろん曜日やその時の状況によるとは思いますが、日本と同じように集合時間前に着くようにくる必要はないです。

【体験について】
・山と海の景色両方を楽しめるのは面白かったです。乗馬終盤には、自分の携帯で写真を数枚撮ってくれます。体験後に餌付けをさせてもらい、馬と触れ合えたのがよかったです。
・ただ、乗馬体験自体は1時間程度で、説明なども含めて1.5時間でした。当方は乗馬が1.5時間できるものだと思いこちらの体験を選んだので、それだけは残念でした。
・この日は当方以外は全員ネイティブで、説明も全て英語でした。乗馬体験中もインストラクターを中心に、グループごとでの会話を楽しみました。

【その他】
・山側が朝は寒いので長袖でも良いかもしれません。
・帽子は不要ですが、眩しいのでサングラスはあったほうが良いと思います。
・手綱を素手で触るのに抵抗がある方は、軍手を持っていってもいいかもしれません。
・チップはボックスに入れる形式でした。
・乗馬後はUberでハレイワまで向かい、食事やショッピングを楽しんだ後The Busで帰宅しました。運転をしない方は、行きは時間の読めるUberで行き、帰りはThe Busで行くと少し節約になるのでオススメです。

I loved every second of this experience! Breathtaking views, the horses are so sweet, and you get to see a lot of movie landmarks, including but not limited to Godzilla’s footprints, 50 first dates movie spot and a jurassic park gates! The only thing I wish is that you could get closer to some of the jurassic park monuments.

if that’s your main goal, for this, try the four wheelers or the bus. Regardless, my top recommendation would still be the horseback riding!

They provided a horse that suited my physique. The shuttle bus was also very comfortable. The activity guide was very kind. Time flew by.

I had a great time enjoying two full hours under clear skies. It was a bit disappointing that there were some activities at Kualoa Ranch that were not offered through Veltra. I would like to visit Kualoa Ranch again the next time I go to Hawaii.

快晴の中2時間たっぷり楽しめました。クアロアランチにはベルトラで取り扱ってないアクティビティもいくつかあったのが、ちょっと残念でした。次ハワイに行った時もクアロアランチには行ってみたいです。

This activity was great our guide was knowledgeable in all things from the horses themselves to the whales and turtles in the ocean! The horses were well mannered and well kept! And the ride was just long enough. We rode on and close to the beach with clear views of the ocean, whales breaching and turtles popping up! Our guide even did a photo shoot for us!

On the day of the event, I arrived at the meeting place just in time, but the staff quickly approached me, and I was able to check in without any issues. It seemed like there was plenty of time built into the schedule, so it didn't feel like I was late at all. The bus was spacious and comfortable, and I dozed off for a bit, only to find that we arrived in no time. Once we got to the location, the staff provided guidance to everyone, so there was no chance of getting lost. I had a horseback riding experience, and everyone was kind, explaining things slowly and thoroughly. Surprisingly, the horses seemed very experienced, and it felt like I was mostly being led by them. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the magnificent scenery of forests, mountains, and the ocean. I didn't include lunch in the plan, but there was a restaurant on-site, so I had no trouble finding food. The Kualoa Burger was very delicious.

当日は時間ギリギリに集合場所に着いてしまいましたが、スタッフがすぐ声をかけてくれて無事に受付ができました。
工程には余裕を持たせているようで、全然遅刻という感じでもありませんでした。
バスは広く乗り心地が快適で、うとうとしていたらあっという間に到着しました。
現地に着いてからは基本的にスタッフが全体に案内をするので特に迷うことはありませんでした。
乗馬体験をしましたが、皆さんゆっくり丁寧に説明してくれて親切でした。驚くことにお馬さんがみな大ベテランといった感じで、殆どリードしてもらっているような心地でした。おかげさまで森、山、海と壮大な景色を楽しめました。
プランに昼食は含めませんでしたが、現地にはレストランがあるので飲食には困りませんでした。
クアロアバーガーは大変美味しかったです。

This is my second time coming to Kualoa Ranch, and last time I participated in the movie location tour. It was also my first time riding a horse, so I was quite nervous. First, when riding, you need to wear long pants and shoes, and your bag should be something that can be secured around your waist like a fanny pack. Also, be aware that the horse may stop to eat grass or take breaks, so it's good to know how to handle that. The horseback riding lasts a full two hours, and you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Kualoa and the stunning ocean along the way, which is just amazing.

クアロアランチに来るのは2回目で、前回は映画ロケ地ツアーに参加しました。乗馬自体も初なのでドキドキでした。まず乗る時には長ズボンと靴、小さめのカバンなどはウェストポーチのように腰に巻きつけられるものでないといけないので注意。また馬が途中で草を食べたり、止まったりすることがあるので対処法を確認。乗馬は2時間たっぷりクアロアの自然や途中綺麗な海を眺めることもできて最高です。

The shuttle bus includes participants from other countries, but they provide simple explanations in Japanese on board. Once we arrive at the location, they will explain the return meeting time and facility details in Japanese, so it's reassuring. After that, we stored our luggage in lockers and moved to each attraction booth individually. We chose the horseback riding course, so we headed there. This time, there were six people on the tour. After learning how to operate the horse through a simple Japanese video, we quickly got on the horses and started. We completely control the horse ourselves, but a guide is next to us, which is very reassuring. I don't think there are many opportunities to ride horses for two hours in Japan, so this is an amazing experience! My wife also said it was the most enjoyable part of our trip to Hawaii.

迎えのバスは他国からの参加者も混載ですが車内では簡単な日本語で説明してくれます。
現地に着くと日本語で帰りの集合時間や施設説明をしてくれるので安心です。
その後、ロッカーへ荷物を預けて各アトラクションのブースへ各自移動します。
我々は乗馬コースをチョイスしてたのでそちらへ。今回は6人のツアーでした。
馬の操作法を簡単な日本語ビデオで学んだら早速乗馬してスタートです。
馬を完全に自分で操るのですが、横にガイドさんがついてくれるので心強いです。
日本では２時間も乗馬する機会は無いと思うので最高に良い経験になります！！
家内も今回のハワイ旅で最も楽しかったと喜んでいました。

The horseback riding experience at Kualoa was wonderful. Exploring the beautiful nature on horseback was a perfect opportunity to refresh both body and mind. With the guide's extensive knowledge, I was able to enjoy the scenery from a new perspective while having fun communicating with the horse.

クアロアでの乗馬体験は素晴らしかったです。美しい自然の中を馬に乗って探索することは、心身をリフレッシュさせる絶好の機会でした。ガイドの知識豊富な案内もあり、馬とのコミュニケーションを楽しみながら新たな視点で景色を楽しむことができました。

I will provide information rather than impressions.

When boarding the bus, show your voucher (a display on your smartphone is acceptable). You won't be able to get off for over an hour until you arrive at the destination, so it's best to take care of any restroom needs beforehand. After arriving, you will wait at the top of the stairs right near the bus drop-off point (referred to as Building A from here on). You will also wait here for the return bus after the activity. If you have time before your return, you can purchase souvenirs and meals inside Building A to pass the time. You can also explore the surroundings until it's time to leave.

When it's time to go back, a staff member will come to check participants. You can show the paper mentioned below. A voucher might also be acceptable.

While waiting, your name will be called, and you will receive a paper with the schedule and other details. After that, everyone will move to the adjacent building (referred to as Building B from here on).

The guide will speak rapidly in English (for those who are not proficient in English, it may be too fast to understand; they are likely explaining the different destinations based on the plans).

In this plan, you will move to the building that is labeled for horseback riding (referred to as Building C from here on). It's just a 5-10 second walk right in front of you. Arriving about 10 minutes before the start time is fine. The start time will also be written on the paper you receive. You should be able to find Building C easily. If you are unsure of the location, you can catch the guide after they finish speaking and ask for directions. They will help you if you show your ticket and ask where to go.

The horseback riding experience lasts for two hours, and you will be riding continuously for that time. You won't be able to get off. If you have average physical fitness, it should be no problem, but it might be tough for elderly participants.

When it's time, you will move to Building C for check-in. Here, you will watch a training video, which is entirely in Japanese. The training video is quite short, just a few minutes long, and you might wonder if it's enough, but surprisingly, everyone managed just fine.

You will be provided with a free bag that can hold two sets of items approximately 25*20*5 cm, which can be attached to the horse. You will also borrow a helmet for free. Additionally, if you have a waist pouch, you can wear that. However, all shoulder bags are not allowed, and you will need to either put them in the provided bag or store them in a locker. I didn't use the locker, so I'm not entirely sure, but I believe there was one in Building B (located in the area opposite Building C). Shoulder straps attached to smartphones are also not allowed. If you want to take photos, you will need to take your phone out of the bag. This could lead to the risk of dropping it while taking pictures.

If you drop something, you might be able to ask the guide (who mainly speaks English) for help, but since you'll be riding, you won't be able to use a translation app. If you don't speak English, it may be difficult. Additionally, depending on the environment and situation, it might be quite challenging to search for lost items, so it's advisable to be careful while taking photos.

If the sun is strong, wearing short sleeves is recommended. It's fine if you don't, but bringing water is also a good idea. You can manage to drink while riding if you try.

After horseback riding, participants will not move freely but will line up and move together. The guide will also ride along and move with the group (going back and forth along the line). The horses generally remember the path and will follow the route automatically. However, they may go too fast, too slow, get close to bumping into each other, or stray slightly from the path, so some handling will be necessary.

感想ではなく情報を記載します。

行きのバス乗車時にVoucher（スマホからの表示でOK）を見せます。
現地到着まで１時間以上降りられないのでトイレなどは済ませていたほうが良いです。
現地到着後、バス降り場からすぐの階段を登った場所で一旦待ちます。（以降建物Aと記載）
尚、アクティビティ終了後の帰りのバスもここで待ちます。帰るまでに時間がある場合、建物Aの中でお土産と食事を購入できるので、それで時間を潰すことになります。帰りの時間まで周りの散策などもできます。
帰りは時間になると係の人が来て参加者の確認を行います。下記記載の紙を見せればOKです。Voucherでもいいかも？

待っていると、名前が呼ばれ予定等が記載された紙を貰えます。
その後、隣の建物（以降建物Bと記載）にみんなで移動します。

案内の人が英語でガーッと何か喋ります。（英語が苦手な人は速すぎてまったく聞き取れません、多分プランごとに行き場が分かれるのでその説明をしているのかと）

このプランではhorseback（だったはず）と書いてある建物（以降建物Cと記載）に移動することになります。徒歩５～１０秒位の眼の前の建物です。
プランの開始時間の１０分位前に行けばOKです。開始時間は上記で貰える紙にも書いてあります。建物Cは見回せば見つかると思います。
場所がわからない場合は案内の人が喋り終わったあとに捕まえて確認してください。チケット見せてどこ行けばいいか聞けば教えてくれます。

乗馬体験２時間とありますが。本当にぶっ続けで２時間のります。降りれません。一般的な体力があれば全く問題はありませんがお年寄りだとつらいかも。

時間になったら建物Cに移動し受付を行います。
ここで教習のビデオを見ます。全て日本語です。
教習は数分程度のビデオになります。本当にこれだけでいいのか？と思うほど短いですが意外とみんななんとかなっていました。

乗馬中に持っていける荷物（片手で難しいが乗馬中に取り出すことも可能）は、だいたい25*20*5が２つ、１セットになった馬にセットできるバックを無料で貸してくれます。（ヘルメットも借ります、無料です）
それとは別にウェストポーチであれば別途装備していけます。肩がけタイプは全てNGで上記の貸出バックの中に入れるか、ロッカーにしまっていくことになります。ロッカーは使用しなかったので正確ではないですが、たしか建物Bにあったはずです。（建物Bから見て、建物Cの逆側のエリアにあったはず）
スマホなどの紐付き肩がけもNGです。撮影する場合はバックから取り出して行います。その為、撮影時落とす可能性があり怖いです。
落とした場合は一緒に馬で移動してくれるガイドさん（ほぼ英語のみ）にお願いすれば可能かもしれませんが、乗馬しながらになるので翻訳アプリ等は使えないです。英語ができない場合は多分無理です。
また、環境、状況的に探すのがかなり困難な場合があります、会話ができてもダメな可能性があります。撮影時は気をつけたほうがよいです。

日差しが強い場合は半袖がよいです。無くても大丈夫ですが水を持っていくのもよいです。頑張れば乗馬しながら飲めます。

乗馬後はフリーに移動するのではなく参加者全員で１列になって移動します。ガイドの人も馬にのって一緒に移動（列全体を行ったり来たり）します。馬自体がほぼ道を覚えていて、自動的にルートを移動してくれる感じです。先頭以外の馬も基本的には前の馬を追尾します。といっても早く行き過ぎる、もしくは遅い、前にぶつかりそうになる、少し道をそれるなど完璧ではないので、ある程度の操作が必要となります。

Since I had to leave my luggage in a locker for horseback riding, it seems better to have not too much luggage, about the size of two carry-on bags. Renting one locker for a day was $5.

The bus ride to and from can be cold, so it's good to have something like a cardigan to wear for warmth. If you're sensitive to the cold, it might be better to have something thicker like a hoodie.

The horseback riding experience was very pleasant, and the horses were very smart, making it a valuable experience!

There aren't many places to kill time at Kualoa Ranch, so it would be wise to minimize your stay time to match the bus reservation times, allowing you to make the most of your time after returning!

乗馬するのに荷物をロッカーに預けなければならなかったので荷物は手荷物2つ分くらいであまり多くない方が良さそうです。ロッカー1つ1日借りるのに5ドルでした。
行き帰りのバスが寒いので防寒用にカーディガンなど羽織れるものがあると良いです。寒がりの方はパーカーなど厚手のものがあった方が良さそうです。
乗馬体験はとても気持ちよく、お馬さんもとてもお利口で貴重な体験が出来ました！
クアロアランチ内で時間を潰す場所があまりないので行き帰りのバスは予約時間に合わせて最小の滞在時間にした方が帰ってきてからの時間を有効に活用できそうです！

Sightseeing
I was using Uber to get around, but I decided to join a tour for sightseeing in Haleiwa and horseback riding. It turned out to be a great decision. Our guide was Japanese, providing attentive guidance and care that really hit the mark. Thank you, Arai! I wanted to try garlic shrimp in Haleiwa, and I was introduced to a restaurant. It was quite crowded, but thanks to the advance reservation and efficient service, we had plenty of time for sightseeing in Haleiwa. I got a cute Snoopy T-shirt for my grandchild. I do wish I had done a bit more research on Haleiwa beforehand.

Horseback Riding
The horses were very smart. I felt completely at ease; they were so intelligent that I think even kindergarteners could ride them. One downside was the explanation of how to handle the horses for those having lunch. Since the horses are smart, you just need to ride them, but the explanation wasn’t tailored for an elderly lady who didn’t understand English. It was a bit fast-paced! Thanks to our guide Arai, even though I didn’t understand English, I was able to grasp the meaning. It was a local approach of "just get on and get used to it." It wasn’t unpleasant at all, but it did have an American feel to it.

観光
Uberを使いながらの移動をしていましたが、さすがに
ハレイワ観光と乗馬はツアーにしようと考えました。
結果、大正解。
日本人のガイドさんなので、痒いところに手が届くようなガイドと心遣い。
さすがです。アライさん、ありがとう！
ハレイワでガーリックシュリンプを食べたくて、お店を紹介してもらいました。
さすがに大混雑なのですが、前もっての予約と手際良さで、ハレイワの観光時間が十分に取れました。
可愛いスヌーピーのTシャツを孫にゲット。
もう少し、自分でハレイワの下調べをしておけば良かったとは思います。

乗馬
賢い馬さん。なんの心配も入りません。幼稚園児でも乗馬できるのではないかと思うくらいの賢い馬でした。
一つ残念なのは、ランチの方々の馬の扱い方の説明。馬が賢いので、ただ、乗馬してれば、いいのですが、英語がわからないおばさんに対する説明ではありませんでした。早口でした！
そこもガイドのアライさんのおかげで、英語わからずですが、意味が理解できました。「乗って慣れろ」方式の現地の方でした。
決して不快ではないのですが、アメリカン的な感じです。

楽しい1日を過ごせました。

I had a horseback riding experience. The experience itself was very enjoyable, but the website stated an 8 AM meeting time and a 1 PM departure, so I planned for a half-day in the morning. However, it actually turned out to be an 8 AM meeting time and a 3:30 PM departure. After arriving at the site, we had to wait for 2 hours until the activity started, and after the activity ended, we waited another 2 hours until the bus departed, totaling 4 hours of waiting time. As a result, it took the whole day, and I had to cancel my afternoon plans. For these reasons, I think it's best for those making reservations to be cautious.

乗馬体験をしました。乗馬体験自体はとても楽しかったですが、サイトには8時集合13時出発とのことで午前の半日の予定をしていましたが、実際は8時集合15時半出発となり、現地到着後もアクティビティ開始まで2時間待ち、アクティビティ終了後も2時間バス出発まで計4時間待ち時間がありました。結果丸一日がかかり午後の予定をキャンセルせざるえませんでした。上記の理由から、予約される方はご注意された方がいいと思います。

I was able to enjoy a leisurely 2-hour horseback ride. By the end, my rear was sore, so please be careful. About an hour of riding would be ideal.

2時間ゆっくりと馬に乗り楽しんで過ごせました。最後は、お尻が痛かったので気をつけてください。1時間くらいの乗馬があればベストです。
