This is my second time coming to Kualoa Ranch, and last time I participated in the movie location tour. It was also my first time riding a horse, so I was quite nervous. When boarding the bus, show your voucher (a display on your smartphone is acceptable). その後、隣の建物（以降建物Bと記載）にみんなで移動します。

案内の人が英語でガーッと何か喋ります。（英語が苦手な人は速すぎてまったく聞き取れません、多分プランごとに行き場が分かれるのでその説明をしているのかと）

このプランではhorseback（だったはず）と書いてある建物（以降建物Cと記載）に移動することになります。徒歩５～１０秒位の眼の前の建物です。
プランの開始時間の１０分位前に行けばOKです。開始時間は上記で貰える紙にも書いてあります。建物Cは見回せば見つかると思います。
場所がわからない場合は案内の人が喋り終わったあとに捕まえて確認してください。チケット見せてどこ行けばいいか聞けば教えてくれます。

乗馬体験２時間とありますが。本当にぶっ続けで２時間のります。降りれません。一般的な体力があれば全く問題はありませんがお年寄りだとつらいかも。

時間になったら建物Cに移動し受付を行います。
ここで教習のビデオを見ます。全て日本語です。
教習は数分程度のビデオになります。本当にこれだけでいいのか？と思うほど短いですが意外とみんななんとかなっていました。

乗馬中に持っていける荷物（片手で難しいが乗馬中に取り出すことも可能）は、だいたい25*20*5が２つ、１セットになった馬にセットできるバックを無料で貸してくれます。（ヘルメットも借ります、無料です）
それとは別にウェストポーチであれば別途装備していけます。肩がけタイプは全てNGで上記の貸出バックの中に入れるか、ロッカーにしまっていくことになります。ロッカーは使用しなかったので正確ではないですが、たしか建物Bにあったはずです。（建物Bから見て、建物Cの逆側のエリアにあったはず）
スマホなどの紐付き肩がけもNGです。撮影する場合はバックから取り出して行います。その為、撮影時落とす可能性があり怖いです。
落とした場合は一緒に馬で移動してくれるガイドさん（ほぼ英語のみ）にお願いすれば可能かもしれませんが、乗馬しながらになるので翻訳アプリ等は使えないです。英語ができない場合は多分無理です。
また、環境、状況的に探すのがかなり困難な場合があります、会話ができてもダメな可能性があります。撮影時は気をつけたほうがよいです。

日差しが強い場合は半袖がよいです。無くても大丈夫ですが水を持っていくのもよいです。頑張れば乗馬しながら飲めます。

乗馬後はフリーに移動するのではなく参加者全員で１列になって移動します。ガイドの人も馬にのって一緒に移動（列全体を行ったり来たり）します。馬自体がほぼ道を覚えていて、自動的にルートを移動してくれる感じです。先頭以外の馬も基本的には前の馬を追尾します。といっても早く行き過ぎる、もしくは遅い、前にぶつかりそうになる、少し道をそれるなど完璧ではないので、ある程度の操作が必要となります。

I booked this tour for my first time in Hawaii. On the bus heading there, there were many Japanese people! After arriving, there is an explanation for each tour, and it seemed like most people had signed up for the buggy tour.

My friend couldn't make it, so I participated in this tour alone. I wasn't very good at English, but I really wanted to ride a horse, so I went from the city to Kualoa Ranch by myself. We did the advanced ride which allows for trotting and cantering in some spots on the way up the trail for more experienced riders. It was an amazing experience and we were pleasantly surprised with the diversity of the trail and how many times we were allowed to canter for stretches of trail where it's safe to do so. Our guide was on top of everything and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.

For horseback riding, you cannot wear a strap around your neck. All belongings except for water, a smartphone, and a camera must be placed in a locker that costs $5 for unlimited access. The locker is large enough for two backpacks.
