This time, my spouse and I participated in the dolphin encounter. We didn't get bored before the participation time as we watched the show and played in a small area with many birds. It was reassuring that there was someone who explained the precautions in Japanese. I felt that the time we spent touching the dolphins was short for the price, but I understand that this was decided by the Sea Life Park based on the dolphins' condition, so it can't be helped. The content of the tour was very good! I was satisfied to be able to do something that is not easily available in Japan.

今回は夫婦でドルフィンエンカウンターに参加しました。参加時間までショーをみたり鳥がたくさんいる小屋に入って遊んだり退屈しなかったです。日本語で注意点を説明してくれる人もいて安心しました。料金の割にはイルカと触れる時間が短いと感じましたがそこはイルカの状態に合わせシーライフパークの方が決めたことなので仕方ないと思います。ツアーの内容はとても良かったです！日本ではなかなかできないことをできて満足です

I went with my three-year-old and one-year-old grandchildren, along with six others.
The children's ticket prices being the same as adults felt very expensive.
For those who have seen shows in Japan, the performance level is quite low.
It's also disappointing that you can't take photos while touching the animals.

I was very disappointed with the restaurant; it was quite poor. Moreover, there was only that one place, leaving no options. If they want to cater to Japanese tourists, they need to improve the food, or else the tour guests will leave. I don't think I will go there again.

The morning pickup was not at the bus stop I specified when I made the reservation, but at a distant bus stop. The bus stop was right in front of the hotel I stayed at, yet I waited at the designated bus stop on foot. However, when the meeting time came, my name was not called, and feeling anxious, I asked someone nearby, who said, "This is it." When I mentioned my name, they checked the confirmation and made a phone call. It seems there was a mistake on their part, and the guide told me, "The bus stop is different, but get on this bus," so I was able to go. But I can't help but feel frustrated thinking that if I hadn't asked, I might have been left behind. There was nothing indicating "Veltour" on the bus or the guide, making it very confusing. After that, during my stay and even after returning home, I received no apology email, just an email asking for a review of my experience. I participated with my child to try to kiss a dolphin. It was my first time touching a dolphin, and it was so smooth and pleasant. During the waiting time, I felt lucky to be able to watch the show up close, seeing them play with balls and jump around. Not only did we get to kiss and shake hands, but at the end, the dolphin splashed us with its tail, which was fun (laughs). The trainer only spoke English, so I didn't understand anything, but we managed somehow (laughs). Other than that, we had to wait a bit long for the bus back, but we had a great time.

I experienced the Dolphin Swim Adventure, which involves riding on a dolphin. It was about an hour-long experience where we received explanations and played with the dolphins. Including the time for changing after the attraction, you should expect it to take about an hour and a half.

There were Japanese staff members who provided some information in advance about where and when to meet, as well as safety instructions for the attraction. The instructors for the attraction themselves hardly spoke Japanese, but thanks to the prior explanations, there were no issues.

In this course, you hold onto the dolphin's dorsal fin and get pulled for a few meters, and then the dolphin goes belly down, and you hold onto its flippers for a few meters as it pulls you along. You also get to touch the dolphin's belly and give it a kiss. The kids were absolutely thrilled.

The Sea Life Park itself is small, so I think half a day is sufficient. Without the attractions, you might find yourself bored until the pick-up time.

My 3-year-old was scared and needed to be held, but they were able to touch the dolphin and even give it a kiss on the cheek. My 5-year-old was totally fine with it. We planned to buy photos later, thinking that just the kids' pictures would be enough, but unexpectedly, Dad had a smile we had never seen before while kissing the dolphin, so we ended up buying the photo (laughs). After the dolphin pool, there is plenty of time to explore the park at a leisurely pace. The kids were really into the area where they could feed lettuce to the fish.

We participated as a couple. I convinced my wife, who can't swim, to challenge herself by entering the 5.2-meter pool with the paid option called Shark Trek, where you swim with sharks. However, unfortunately, the day we attended was Keiki Day, Hawaii's Children's Day, and many attractions were canceled, so we couldn't take on the challenge. The only thing we could participate in was an attraction where we could touch dolphins from outside the pool, which was included in our reservation. The park is small and has few attractions, so we just had lunch and took a nap at the food court. I wish the reservation page clearly indicated which attractions were available and which were not. It turned out to be a wasted and disappointing day in Hawaii.

We went to Sea Life Park just the two of us. My wife signed up for Dolphin Aloha (feeding and touching dolphins), and I participated as an observer only. I thought I would be able to watch the feeding, but since it takes place in an indoor pool, observers are not allowed in and I couldn't see it.

There were various shows in the park, but the outdoor dolphin show was particularly impressive and a highlight.

夫婦ふたりきりでシーライフパークへ行ってきました。妻はドルフィンアロハ（イルカの餌付けとタッチ）に申し込みし私は見学のみで参加しました。餌付けしているところを見れるのかと思っていましたが、屋内のプールで行うので見学者は入れなく見る事はできませんでした。

I didn't expect to be able to get so close to the fish and animals. My 3-year-old child seemed to have so much fun that they said, "I don't want to go home yet!" I was quite anxious about playing with the dolphins, but my child expressed a desire to do it and even kissed a dolphin. We wished we could have played a little longer.

I participated as an observer, and my 4-year-old daughter joined! She seemed to have a lot of fun(^^). It was the first time I saw her so focused and enjoying the interaction with the dolphins, taking photos, and listening to the explanations in Japanese about how to touch the dolphins! I think it was a great experience!

However, the observation area had no roof and was hot! My 1-year-old daughter and I endured the heat for about an hour. I wished there was a roof many times...

In addition to the dolphin interaction, we also had enough time to explore the small aquarium, so it was easy to go around, and gathering at 2:30 was sufficient! Although it was outside the tour, we also got to touch baby sea turtles during feeding time! (Free)

ただ、見学者のところは屋根もなく暑い！1歳の娘と私は1時間ほど暑さに耐えながらでした。屋根があればいいのになぁ…と何度も思いました。
イルカとの触れ合い以外にもしっかりと園内を回る時間もあり、小さな水族館ですのですぐに回れ2時半集合でも十分でした！
ツアー外ですが、餌やりのところでウミガメの赤ちゃんにも触れました！（無料）

We participated with two children and two adults. Overall, we were satisfied, but during the dolphin interaction, we were split into two groups, and the other group seemed to have children who were able to get closer to the dolphins (perhaps there was a platform in the pool for small children?). The photos taken, which often feature only the children, were more common in that group, and I felt that group was better. I think it depends on the trainer's instructions, so it might be a matter of luck. Before the activity started, the explanations were handled by Japanese staff for Japanese participants, so I had no particular concerns. The trainer could speak a little simple Japanese and communicated with us in simple English and occasionally in Japanese while we interacted with the dolphins, so there were no issues.

近くまで来てくれるのは可愛いのですが、子供にとっても恐怖のみ、始終泣いてしまいました（笑）
もう少し大きくなってからが良かったかもです。
小さいお子さんには、ドルフィンタッチで十分だと思いました。

We went as a family of five with our first grader, our kindergartner, and our one-year-old daughter.

Our kindergartner was really looking forward to this program because he loves animals. Before we left, I was a bit worried that he might get scared when he saw the dolphins up close or become shy, but not at all! He enjoyed it thoroughly without being scared, staying at just the right distance (he might have been nervous if he had to get into the pool).

I heard that some kids his age who participated in the same program were scared, and those kids only got to feed the dolphins three times. However, the little ones who were really excited got to feed them more than usual as a special treat.

My first grader joined a program where he could interact with the dolphins in the pool, but he found that the program for younger kids was much more satisfying! I definitely recommend that one!

My husband and our 5-year-old participated, while I and our 0-year-old observed. Observers can take photos and videos. However, since we were facing backward, it's better to purchase the three good shots taken by a professional photographer. They were taking pictures in specified poses, like kissing the dolphin. I wanted to experience interacting with dolphins, but I was a bit scared of diving into the ocean, so I searched for an optional tour and signed up for this one.

After enjoying the dolphin show at the park, we headed to the pool at the back of the park! We listened to the final explanation from the Japanese staff and entered the pool with the dolphins! Three women in their 50s participated, and two of them couldn't swim! Everyone wore life jackets, so even though we couldn't swim, we managed to make our way to the deep part in the center of the pool and waited for the dolphins to come to us. The dolphins swam on their backs, allowing us to ride on their bellies! We touched the dolphins and fed them fish, and before we knew it, time flew by! The photos were taken as an option for purchase later, but there were only three shots, so I wished they could have taken more pictures!

I wanted to participate in the program where you can swim with dolphins, but since I was pregnant, I joined this program that allows participation during pregnancy. There was a Japanese interpreter, although their Japanese was basic. Only one person gets to touch the dolphin a little. You can stroke its back and feed it (not everyone gets fish), and if you wish, you can touch its teeth a bit. You can definitely see them up close. However, since I went to Sea Life Park, I wonder if it would be better to change into a swimsuit and join a program where you can interact more? I can't say for sure since I haven't participated in that one.

They take one photo per adult. They don't take a photo of the whole family. Children can take as many photos as they want with an adult. In the end, I ended up buying two photos: one with me and the child, and one with my husband and the child (sales strategy? lol). One photo costs about $18.

I had my meal at the snack shop near the entrance. There were no Japanese menus, and the staff didn't speak Japanese. Besides the program, there are shows and aquarium-like attractions, but compared to Japanese aquariums, the quality is a bit lower.

In the end, since my child was happy, I consider it a success!

片言ですが、日本語の通訳さんもいました。イルカに触れるのは１人ほんの少しです。背中辺りをなでなでして、エサあげて(全員に魚をくれるわけではないです)、希望であれば歯を触る程度。
間近で見られるのは確かですが。せっかくシーライフパークへ行くのであれば、水着に着替えて触れあえるプログラムのほうがいいのかなー？と思います。そちらは参加したことないので、なんとも言えませんが。

大人１人につき一枚写真を撮ってくれます。家族全員では撮ってくれません。子どもは、大人と一緒に何枚でもOK。結局、私と子供、主人と子供の二枚買ってしまいました(営業戦略？笑)一枚確か、18ドルぐらい。

食事は、入り口付近の売店で済ませました。日本語メニューなどもなく、店員さんも日本語は通じません。プログラム以外にも、ショーや水族館的なものはありますが、日本の水族館と比べると、クオリティは低めかな？

結果、子供が喜んでくれたのでヨシとします！
