I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone, Any age. When we decide to visit Hawaii again in a few years this be on our to do list. I cant remember their names, But the man that played the guitar while we were on the sand bar was awesome. Def a people person with a big heart.

Amazing time

He was very knowledgeable so we actually learned some things which was cool. Would have liked to spend a little more time on the sandbar but overall, would definitely recommend doing this!

Best time ever!!

The crew on the boat were all very knowledgeable and the sandbar, turtle bay and reef were all some of the coolest sights we saw on Oahu. Hope you get Jenner on your boat, he's the best! He went out snorkeling on the reef with my husband and showed him all kinds of cool stuff!

Reviewed by: Mike, 2015/04/12Did together with my son and had a blast. Make sure you are one of the first into the ocean when you start the snorkeling since the sea turtles will be scared away once the crowd hits. Managed to be third in and took 4K video of a huge turtle on the GoPro.

乗るなら英語船に

私たち家族は英語船へ、母と友人は日本語船へ乗船。
日本人に人気のサンドバーだけあって 日本船は満員でした。
それに比べて英語船は （同じ大きさですが）ゆったりのんびり。
この差が大きく出たのは ランチ時です。
ずーっと並んでいる日本人を横目に ランチのお代わりをする英語船。
亀何匹見れた？って友人に聞いたら ３匹も見れたよ～ と返事。
そっちは何匹？と聞かれ ３０匹以上見れた と返事するのが申し訳ない位。
日本人ガイドさんとは サンドバーに上陸したときに会えるので、
特に英語で困らなければ 英語船への乗船をお勧めします。
元々乗組員は全員英語 ジョークも英語ですので、わからない方にはわかりません。
シュノーケリングを楽しんで 亀を見るだけなら
英語がわからなくても大丈夫です。
ただ海の透明度は メキシコのカンクンなどに比べるとはるかに落ちますが、
こんなに一杯魚いるんだ～ と感激しました。
初シュノーケリングではまりました。
（翌年はメキシコでシュノーケリングするくらいはまりました）

Amazing experience!

I could see the beautiful sandbar, tropical fish and coral even if the weather was not so good. And especially the crews was just awsome! Snorkel in Paradise ⛅️☀️

Reviewed by: Phillip M, 2013/09/21The Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Captain Bob's Snorkel Cruise is, by far, one of the most amazing and fun tours I have taken during my visit to the beautiful island of Oahu! From lunch at the sand bar with a game of volleyball, to an area where we saw turtles of all sizes and a HUGE Manta Ray, to the coral reef for some snorkeling, the snorkel cruise was non-stop fun! The crew was so nice and I cannot thank them enough for their help, guidance, and dedication to making sure everyone had a great time! This will definitely be a tour I will go on when I go to Hawaii again. I definitely recommend this cruise!! :-)

Oahu Captain Bobs Sailing Adventure

The crew worked really well together, skilled and knowledgeable and used alot of humor throughout the day and made everyone laugh. The bar-b-que was delicious and prepared very well. They crew made it a point to take us where sea turtles hung out and they didn't disappoint. We saw families of sea turtles swimming around. The snorkeling was good and I wished we would have had more time to spend there. The sea was gorgeous and very clear. We got to see the island that Gilligan's Island was used in the opening scene and that was great since we grew up with that show. Overall, a great and enjoyable way to spend a day and the price was comparable to the experience.

Great Overall Experience

They played volleyball on the sandbar with us, cooked us an awesome burger and gave great tips and help to make our snorkle experience the best. Could have done with a little less of Jenner's singing, since he seems to like to "ham it up" a bit too much.
I look forward to my next trip to Oahu so I can do this tour again.

Best day on the island!
Reviewed by: Amy, 2011/02/16I went on Captain Bob's Snorkeling Adventure with 4 friends last week and we all agreed that it was the BEST day we spent in Hawaii. The crew was FANTASTIC; fun, entertaining, knowledgeable, laid back... perfect!
The ocean volleyball and snorkeling at our own reef was a welcome change from the crowds in Waikiki.
I highly recommend this trip to everyone visiting Oahu! We have all decided to bring our kids and do this trip again on our next visit to the island.
Thanks to Daniel-son, Jenner, Macho Taco, Kelly and the rest of the crew for a perfect day!

Amazing time, Great experience
Reviewed by: Melissa, 2010/08/13I attended this snorkeling activity with my boyfriend (he had done it before and wanted to go again). Our tour guide on the bus was hysterical. So much fun and information was provided by him. I liked that he remained part of the experience by coming on the boat with us. The staffing was incredible as well. Tons of fun and very helpful. I was glad that they provided lunch as well. Quick and easy burgers, some fruit, sodas, etc. And of course, the snorkeling was beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone, of any age. If you can't swim, or haven't snorkeled, don't worry! They provide easy instructions to learn how to snorkel quickly, and they have both noodles and lifevests if you can't swim! You may even luck out and sight some sea turtles on your way to the reef!!! If you're considering this activity, go for it! You'll love it!

Fabulous Aquatic Adventure

The friendly crew of the Barefoot I made us feel welcome from the time we arrived at the dock. It was a very windy day, but, the catamaran was steady. The energetic, enthusiastic and entertaining crew covered the basics of snorkeling and equipment during our ten-minute cruise to the submerged sandbar in the middle of beautiful Kaneohe Bay. The sandbar stop was the perfect opportunity for first time snorkelers to practice in a comfortable environment and the waist-deep volleyball was a real hoot! The crew grilled our burgers and served lunch at the sandbar. Much to our surprise and delight our cruise director, Jenner, serenaded us with voice and guitar while we ate. During the ten minute sail to the snorkel site we saw a dozen or so green sea turtles. The beautiful coral reef was in a very isolated area in crystal clear waters. The area was teem

Most relaxing and unique time!
Reviewed by: Charity, 2009/09/12Captain Bob's was one of the highlights of our trip. The crew was very laid back and extremely helpful (served us beer in the water). One girl even got stung by a jellyfish and the captain carried her all the way back to the boat and immediately rendered first aid. 60 of us total and it was not crowded at all. Burgers were good, people were awesome and the snorkeling was spectacular. Saw a few turtles and other beautiful fish. Volleyball on the sandbar was pretty fun too!! All in all my husband and I really had a great time. Would highly recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!!

Beautiful scenery

It was definitely worth the money.You can be as active or as relaxed as you want to be.The staff was great with the kids.Unfortunately , it rained on our day so it kind of put a damper on things. The staff did their best to make it up to us. I would only recommend to bring extra clothes and a raincoat of some kind just in case.

However, the staff on the trip were very friendly and patient, the food was good and the actual snorkelling was amazing. Even in bad weather the guys made it fun - it was a downpour to say the least and honestly they couldnt have cared less - basic opinion was: its warm, your in Hawaii, your gonna get wet anyway so lets do it drudda! Killer time. Went twice with the family including our 6yoa son who was 4yoa at the time and once with some friends and each time it was the same killer service and fun! Dont go any place else... im coming back in Sept 2008 and you knowwwww I will be making another trip...ummm do get I discount yet or what guys??? :)

Big Kudos to Captain Bob's Crew!
Reviewed by: Douglas & Carol Kidwell, 2007/11/21This was our 3rd trip to Oahu and the first time going out with Captain Bob. It was a well organized function with a superb crew! Having the first stop to the sandbar for volleyball was an excellent way for newbies to get used to snorkeling. It also allowed people to get acclimated to the water before getting into the snorkeling around the reef. Their choice in reef was nothing short of excellent! There was a large variety of fish to view to include several Moray Eels that swam about. The location also allowed a beautiful view of the Main Island and isolated islands off the coast. The only complaint is there was a young crew member who needed to pull up his bathing suit a little bit. He was a very nice young man & friendly with everyone but a bit more modesty would have been appreciated.
Overall, the event was great; everyone had an enjoyable time, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu.
