We have a friend that’s on the island so we came over from vacationing on Maui to visit. Check in was super easy. The boat was clean and well kept and the crew was amazing. Loved the live music on the journey to and from the sandbar. Once we arrived, there was a little something for everyone. Paddleboarding, kayaking, hanging out on a floating platform or snorkeling! They even had inner-tubing and banana boat rides for an extra fee. The views of the island were stunning. Trip lasted roughly 3 hours so plenty of time to still explore the island after. Shout out to Preston and Jesse for all the aloha and good vibes. It was a super fun trip and we highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. It’s a really great excursion.

Fun times

Festive and fun the whole time... beautiful setting with the smaller islands and mountains surroundings, standing a mile off shore in the middle of the bay. Nice touch having the floating lounge, and thoughtful idea providing fish treats for snorkeling(!) The music Jessie and crew played on board, and DJ-ed during activities was awesome--so much fun dancing with the fish! We only wish could have had more than one go of the banana boat and bumper tube. Worth doing more than once on a trip here, definetly--almost tried walking in backward when we were leaving

Enjoying the Journey
Reviewed by: Lyna M, 2023/04/09My husband and I took our family to Hawaii for spring break. We always at the kids do something different. I thought they might be hesitant, but they tried The banana boat and the bumper boat and loved it, probably one of the most fun things they did on this trip. The only thing I would say I was disappointed about this excursion was that the description said they will provide soda or coke with lunch but we got lemonade instead. The bathroom on the boat also needs to be restocked before taking the next ride out. There were no soaps or hand sanitizer to use. Besides this, we had such a fun time.

Great trip to the sandbar

Reviewed by: Doris, 2023/04/02From the moment we were picked up near the hotel and dropped off at it, this was a class 1 experience. Everyone made sure we had a great experience. We were a party of 7 ranging from 81years old to 12. We all rode the banana boats, thrilling! One of us fell off (not the 81 y/o) and was retrieved. The float ride was thrilling our 12 y/o said. The water is clear, the fish ample and snorkels provided along with advice for best viewing. The musicians were outstanding, the fellow passengers getting in the groove and dancing. Whole experience a lifetime memory.

Best day ever!!

Super family friendly but also great for an adult day of fun. You can bring your own cooler with alcoholic beverages and your own food to ensure you have whatever you need on board. I only wish it had been longer!

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!
Reviewed by: Adachi and Osiris, 2023/03/25The fact that I booked to just experience the sand bar is my small disclaimer, But the boat ride out to the sandbar including the friendly staff breakfast snacks and juice along with the live band / music and all the SUP, Kayaking Snorkeling and Lounging we could do is what made this an experience of a lifetime for me and my son! They provided all the above for a great rate plus you can add on other activities like the bumper boat ride etc. I highly recommend Veltra tours! You won't be disappointed!! Mahalo

Can't Miss Activity on Ohau!
Reviewed by: Esther B, 2023/02/21My husband and I, with my 21 year old son, had so much fun on our recent trip to Kaneohe Bay Sandbar with Ocean Sports Adventure. The trip started with an easy check-in process. We left the pier at 9:30 and arrived at the sandbar in 15 minutes. During this time, the crew served donuts and drinks while two musicians played live music. They were really good and professional. When we arrived there, we snorkeled first. Lots of reef fish! Then we tried SUP for the first time. Since it was such a windy day, the crew made sure we didn't float away to the areas that we weren't supposed to be. The captain took some of us on his boat and went to a nearby reef where green sea turtles are. We saw 2 of them! I highly recommend this activity to anyone!

The stuffs are super friendly and they are the best people. The boat caption , Kevin is the nicest guy ever. So much activities to do : kayak , paddle board , snorkeling and banana boat. Our family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children: age 11 and 6) and our friend that was visiting has a blast kayaking, SUP and hanging out on the floating island. Music was awesome! Absolutely recommended for first timers to Kaneohe

The crew and live music were great and the activities included (paddle board, kayak, snorkel, volleyball) kept me and my wife busy during our time at the sandbar. We also saw live coral and a ton of fish as well as an octopus hiding near the anchor. Definitely a tour anyone should consider if they haven't visited the sandbar before. Having the boat also allowed us to avoid the sun and stay hydrated after the activities, sometime we wouldn't have been able to do if we had kayaked over from the harbor on our own.
