I was able to walk in the beautiful sea around Molokini Island. There were about four types of fish, but their beautiful colors captivated me. Near the coast, about 30 minutes away from Molokini Island, I heard there are sea turtles, so I went full throttle... There they were (+｡+) Oh no, there were five turtles resting on the ocean floor. The depth was about 10 meters, I think? One of them, for some reason, started coming towards me... I remembered the staff's advice not to touch them... but I wasn't trying to touch it... (^o^)/ As it kept getting closer, I managed to take a close-up photo of the turtle. Thank you, turtle.

The staff were very cheerful and responded quickly and accurately. However, their English was a bit fast, and I had to really concentrate to understand... But they were very kind. It was a very satisfying tour, and the thrilling cruising was the best!

One last thing, the cruiser sways quite a bit while anchored. It might be better to take motion sickness medication beforehand... Americans seem to have very tough stomachs. As for Japanese people?? I noticed that we are quite sensitive to such things.

モロキニ島から、ちょっと３０分程度離れた海岸近くには、ウミガメがいるとのことで、そこまでフルスロットル・・・・
いた、いた(+｡+)ｱﾁｬｰ｡カメさんが５匹も・・・海の底で休んでいます。そう深さは１０ｍ程度か？
そのうちの一匹が何を思ったのか・・・こっちに向かって来るではないですか・・・さわってはいけないとのStuffの話・・・いやいやさわりたいんじゃないんだけれどもね・・・ﾍ(^o^)/・・どんどん近づいて来るので、アップを一枚撮らせてもらいました。カメさん。ありがとう

Stuffのみなさんの明るいことﾍ(^o^)/対応も素早く、的確でした。でも、ENGLISHはちょっと早口で、理解するのに頭をフルに使わないと・・・でもでもとても親切でした。
とても満足のできるツアーでした。そして迫力のあるクルージングは最高！

最後に一言、クルーザーは停泊中はかなりゆれます。乗り物酔い止めの薬を飲んでいった方が幸せかも・・・
アメリカの人々のstomachはとってもタフです。日本人は？？けっこう繊細なことにも気が付きました。

A very nice ride from the marina to Molokini. I liked the intimacy of the small boat compared to having too many people on your trip on the larger boats that filled the area.

We have 3 families of 4 and the crew. Nice size to get the most out of the trip.

You could do some fishing along the way if you wish (on the way back, they caught a huge Mahi Mahi fish). You get a continental style breakfast on the way out.

You see some amazing things in crystal clear waters at Molokini.

We did go to Turtle Town. My wife had a close up encounter with a turtle on his way to the surface for air. She thought it was great.

A nice lunch on the way back which included burgers and sandwiches.

A good day for everyone on our trip.

I had gone snorkeling a few times before, but it was my first experience with snuba, and I enjoyed it.

I chose to meet at the location. The parking was easy to find, but there were many tours at the port, and I got a bit lost.

The wind was strong on the way from the port to Molokini Island, and the boat rocked quite a bit. Many people seemed to struggle with seasickness. My eldest daughter (12 years old) took motion sickness medication beforehand but still felt sick.

We started with scuba diving. The water was very clear, and the coral reef was the most beautiful I had seen compared to any other reef I had visited. There were many types of fish, and the kids forgot about their seasickness and had a great time.

After that, we did snuba. A Japanese guide explained everything, so my wife and kids, who are not good at English, felt comfortable doing snuba. The method was simple, and we quickly got used to the breathing technique and were able to dive deep.

After that, we changed spots and went snorkeling again in a sea with sea turtles.

The staff was cheerful and kind, and I highly recommend this tour.

その後、スヌーバをしました。日本人のガイドさんが説明をしてくれたので、英語の不得意な妻や子供も安心してスヌーバができました。やり方は簡単で、すぐに呼吸法に慣れ深くまで潜れるようになりました。

その後、スポットを変えウミガメのいる海で再度スノーケリングをしました。

スタッフは明るく、親切で、お勧めのツアーです。

This was my eighth trip to Hawaii, and my first stay on Maui. I had high expectations for snorkeling at Molokini due to its renowned water quality, which is considered one of the best snorkeling spots.

While the water clarity was decent, I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of fish. The swimming area was also limited due to the presence of many other boats, which restricted movement to avoid collisions. Even after moving to a second location known for high sea turtle sightings, the situation with the fish remained unchanged. I was glad to see sea turtles, but overall, I felt it was lacking.

Based on experiences I read, I anticipated the water would be cold, so I rented a wetsuit for an additional $10. However, at the end of July, the water temperature was warm enough that a towel on the boat would have sufficed.

I participated with my family, but my wife still got seasick despite taking motion sickness medication, so I think it's important to be cautious if you're not feeling well or are sleep-deprived.

Since there are no other ways to participate in Molokini besides the tour, I recommend trying it at least once. However, you may realize that there are many better snorkeling spots accessible from the beach. In fact, on Maui, I had a great time encountering many fish and sea turtles at Honolua Bay.

The staff's service was excellent.

確かにそこそこ海の透明度は高いですが、肝心な魚が少なく、やや期待はずれでした。遊泳場所も他の船が多いので、交錯しないように限定されてしまいます。2箇所目の海亀出没率の高いところに移動しても魚の少ない状況は変わりませんでした。確かに海亀は見れたので良かったのですが、全体的に物足りなさを感じました。
また、こちらに体験談をもとに海中は寒いだろうと別途10ドル追加しウエットスーツを借りましたが、7月下旬ではそれも不要なぐらい海水温は高く、船上でタオルがあれば不用なぐらいでした。
家族で参加したのですが、妻は酔い止め薬を飲んでいても酔ってしまいましたので、寝不足など体調不良での参加時は注意が必要と思います。
モロキ二にはツアー以外参加方法がないので、一度は参加されることをお薦めしますが、体験されると、おそらくそれ以上のシュノーケルスポットがビーチエントリーでいくつもあることに気づきます。実際マウイ島では、ホノルア湾でたくさんの魚や海亀に出会え、楽しめました。
スタッフの対応は大変良かったです。

Since it was December, the water was cold, and while you can rent a wetsuit, they only provide short-sleeved tops, so I think it's better to bring long-sleeved swimwear if you're going during the colder season. I want to try this experience during a warmer time next time. Swimming with sea turtles is the best!! My husband is not a strong swimmer, but he enjoyed snorkeling, so I think snorkeling is fine even for those who are not good at swimming. If you are going by car, please be careful about parking. There is a short-term parking lot nearby for boat transfers, so make sure not to get it wrong.

The Japanese staff provides explanations, so it's reassuring. Near the coast of Molokini Island, the former volcanic crater is deep, yet the water is highly transparent. There are many fish and corals, and with a float, even beginners won't sink, allowing you to just dip your face in and see underwater clearly. At the turtle point, I could see sea turtles right below me, and from the boat, I was able to spot turtles popping their heads out of the water.

It was a nice trip to molokini, the water there was so clear compare to other snorkeling spots. Although the wave there was turning larger at the end and we did not see too much fish. The staff was very helpful and experienced in helping people in the water.
Another destination was turtle town and we did enjoyed our fantastic turtle-experiences.
I would definetely recommend people to go there, but possibly earlier time (We took off around 8am).

I went to the beach during Golden Week, but it seems there was a low-pressure system, so we weren't blessed with sunshine...

Without the sunlight, the water temperature was low and very cold, and it didn't feel like we were in Hawaii, which was really disappointing.

We did see a sea turtle, but the water clarity was low, so it felt like just a silhouette. There were also people snorkeling who were chasing the sea turtle, so it might have been murky...

When we arrived, there were only two Japanese couples, so it was just the right amount of people without being crowded.

Molokini Island, known for its snorkeling visibility, was a place I had always wanted to visit.

On the day of my visit, the wind was a bit strong and the waves were rough, but the visibility was outstanding! I also experienced snuba! As someone who struggles with equalizing my ears, I was satisfied, but my friend who has a diving license seemed a bit underwhelmed. This activity might be more suitable for beginners since it's easier than experience diving.

From the boat, I was able to see a sea turtle swimming by. Along the way, I was lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins.

The water temperature during Golden Week is quite cold. For those who are sensitive to the cold, a wetsuit is essential! The crew, including the Japanese staff, were cheerful and kind, which made me feel at ease.

We had an amazing time with our guide Finch with South Pacific Kayak!! We got to witness so many amazing, beautiful things! Whales breaching out of the ocean, Dolphines dancing 10 feet in front of us and the beautiful, colorful fish and turtles that inhabbit the ocean. Such an amazing time!! We wanted to go back the next day!! This was our first time Kayaking, it was amazing.

The snorkeling was great with clear waters and lots of fish, and we even saw sea turtles up close. We spotted whales too, the hamburgers were delicious, and the snooba was good. But the best part was definitely the boat ride back. The wind was strong and we got soaked from the splashes, but it felt like riding a roller coaster at an amusement park, and it was so much fun. I want to go again next time.

Before departing for my trip, I decided to participate based on the information that there are so many whales around Maui at this time of year that it's called "whale soup." Since I was staying at a hotel in Ka'anapali, it was very convenient that the whale watching tour was the only one departing from Ka'anapali, while most others were from Lahaina. I was able to see many whale backs and tails, but it was a bit disappointing that I only saw their heads and full jumps once. However, it was a fun two hours as I shared the joy of spotting whales with the staff and other guests. Motion sickness medication is a must.

It was my first time snorkeling. The sudden experience in the deep sea was quite a challenge. It was a bit disappointing that the water was cold and there weren't many fish, but I encountered turtles and whales, and I thoroughly enjoyed the attentive service from the staff and the delicious meals.

Our family of 4 enjoyed this trip so much! We had a bit of trouble finding the boat (not the marina) due to construction and limited parking, but once we walked on board, it was fun and relaxing. The people are terrific and you can tell they love their jobs being on that boat-very friendly and entertaining. Breakfast muffins, bagels, fruit and coffee were available as the boat took us out to Molokini (about 30 mins.) and an enormous whale leaped right in front of the boat! There were many more to be seen that day but it want an exciting start. Molokini was not overrated! Underwater Discovery Channel complete with tons of colorful fish, strange anemones and even a purple jelly fish. It was so beautiful against the wall of the crater. I swam back to the boat quickly to buy the $25, reusable underwater camera because it was so magical. The pix came out great! My 7 year old was nervous at first b/c she'd never snorkled, but the crew worked with her 1-on-1, made her laugh, gave her a noodle

I participated alone from 9 AM, and since there were about 13 people in a 45-person capacity, I was able to enjoy it comfortably. I recommend the early morning trip since the next one was fully booked with 45 people.

When I think of submarines, I remember DisneySea, but this time it was the real ocean, which was exciting. It was great to see many fish and rays, but if I could have seen sharks or whales, my rating would have gone up even more (laughs).

But since these are natural creatures, there's not much you can do about that. The crew members were very kind. By the way, the person at the check-in counter was Japanese. Also, the weather in Maui has been bad lately, so I recommend checking the weather for a week and participating on a clear day (^^).

午前9時から一人で参加しましたが、45人乗りのところを13人くらいだったのでゆったりと楽しむことができました。次の便では45人満杯だったので朝一の便をおすすめします。

潜水艦といえばディズニーシーを思い出しますが、今回は本物の海でしたので興奮しました。たくさんの魚とエイを見れたのはよかったのですが、サメやクジラが見れたらさらに評価は上がっていたでしょう（笑

でも自然の生き物ですからこのあたりは仕方ないですね。クルーの皆さんはとても親切でした。ちなみにチェックインカウンターの受付の方が日本人の方でした。あと、ここ最近のマウイは天気が悪いので、参加されるときは1週間の天気を調べて快晴の時に参加することをおすすめします(^^)

As for seasickness, I took some motion sickness medication just before departure, but I didn't feel sick and was able to enjoy myself. Regarding the water temperature, it can be quite cold during this season, so I recommend renting a wetsuit. I wore a swimsuit underneath and put on a wetsuit over it, but I still started to feel cold, so it was a race against time.

I was able to see two sea turtles up close, which was very enjoyable. There were also many fish swimming around, and some people even saw a manta ray. The breakfast and lunch on the boat were delicious, and I was satisfied with the tour since I could enjoy beer and Mai Tai on the way back.

Snuba is an optional activity, and for some reason, only the five of us Japanese signed up for it. It was quite fun as you can dive down about 3 meters, so I recommend it. Thank you very much to the two female guides!

船酔いについては念のため酔い止めを出発するあたりで飲んでおきましたが、酔うことはなく楽しむことができました。次に水温ですが、この時期はけっこう冷たいのでボディースーツ？をレンタルすることをおすすめします。私は水着上下を着ていて、その上にボディースーツを着用しましたが、それでもだんだんと身体が冷えてきたので時間との戦いです。

ウミガメは二匹を間近で見ることができてとても楽しかったです。魚もたくさん泳いでいましたし、マンタを見れた方もいたそうです。船上での朝食とランチも美味しくいただきましたし、帰りはビールやＭＡＩ−ＴＡＩを飲めたので満足できるツアーでした。

スヌーバはオプションで、申し込んだのはどういうわけか私達日本人５名だけでした。３ｍくらい下まで潜れるのでけっこう楽しかったですしおすすめですよ。

On the day of the event, due to strong winds, we couldn't go to Molokini Island and were taken to a different spot. I felt reassured that the staff spoke Japanese from the hotel pickup. I thought it might be cold, but after borrowing a wetsuit, we were ready to go! The staff member, Takako, was very helpful, especially since most of us were beginners. At the second spot, we encountered sea turtles, which was very satisfying. The water temperature was not as low as I expected, and I had a wonderful time swimming with many fish. Although the activities depend on the weather, we were taken to two spots, and we had plenty of time at each, so it really felt like we swam a lot. I had a blister on my foot from traveling, so I couldn't wear fins, but the staff provided precise instructions about safety, which I greatly appreciated. I had snorkeling experience in Australia before, but thanks to Takako, I had a really enjoyable time this time. Looking back, I wish I had borrowed a camera; it would have been nice to have more information on how to take pictures during the camera rental explanation. I was worried about dropping it, so I didn't borrow one, but now I regret not doing so. The big cookies and the hamburgers cooked on the boat were delicious, and I would love to experience this again. Thank you!

11/27当日は、強風で結局モロキニ島には行けず違うスポットへ案内してもらいました。ホテルのピックアップから日本語の通じるスタッフの方で安心でした。寒いかなと思いましたが、ウエットスーツを借り、いざ！　スタッフのTAKAKOさん、ほぼ初心者ぞろいだったと思うのですが、いろいろ細かく教えて下さりありがとうございました。二番目のスポットではウミガメとも遭遇でき、大満足。思ったより水温も低くなく、たくさんのお魚たちとランデブーいたしました。その日の天候に左右されるアクティビティーですが、二か所のスポットへ連れて行って頂き、各々の時間も充分だったので、「泳いだー」って感じでした。旅行中足にできた靴ずれで足ひれがつけられなかったのですが、足ひれがないと流されるからと的確な指示を下さり、安全に留意頂き大変お世話になりました。以前オーストラリアでシュノーケリングの経験がありましたが、今回のTAKAKOさんのおかげで、とっても楽しく過ごせました。あとになってみると、カメラを借りておけばよかったなと思いました、カメラのレンタルの説明の時に撮り方（きっと簡単なんでしょうけれど）とか、どんな写真が撮れるかとかもう少し教えてもらえたらよかったかな、借りて落っことしちゃったら困るかななんて考えて借りませんでしたが、やっぱり借りとけばよかったなと後悔しきり。おっきなクッキーや船上で焼いてくれたハンバーガーも美味しかったです、また体験したいです、ありがとう！

We have been on three or four other snorkel trips in Hawaii and this is by the far the best. The ship is in excellent condition, and the skipper and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. They made it a wonderful time for all on board! They even stopped during their regular trip to show us spinner dolphins (twice) and an early season whale.

This is a Fantastic way to spend 1/2 of a day. The crew and Captain couldn't have been any nicer or more informative. The ride out to the dive/snorkeling site was fairly short, and the snorkeling was awesome. My husband really enjoyed the snubbing, I tried, but was unable to actually do it, the instructor tried her best to help me, but after several attempts I decided to stick with the snorkeling, which worked for me, because as I stated, it was awesome. We saw lots of beautiful fish. The second site they took us to had several turtles, and even more beautiful fish the closer you ventured into the coral. They provided a nice lunch, and continental breakfast. I had booked this activity a month or so in advance, and was really looking forward to it...I was not disappointed.

I can't physically snorkel so this was the next best thing. We saw a shark immediately--pretty cool. The staff was wonderful. The divers brought sea life to the windows for all to view. We wish we could have seen more diversity, but no one can control mother nature. We had fun and enjoyed the sea life we did see.
