Yamapi, our guide, provided an incredibly detailed explanation, and I thoroughly enjoyed the nature of Maui! The sunset and starry sky were the best I've ever seen, and I was very moved! It was also reassuring that they provided transportation to the hotel. I would love to participate again! Thank you!

This tour was comfortable, informative, and lots of fun. Our guide/driver Brandan is a safe driver and a genuinely nice person. He was born and raised on Maui, so he knew exactly where to go and what to see and do. For me, the best part of the trip was swimming under a waterfall; The cool water was so refreshing. Brandan also has a deep knowledge of Maui's history and Hawaiian culture which was invaluable as we learned so much about Maui's amazing natural environment from him.

This was a great day out and well worth it.

Also, like to give a shout out to our shuttle driver Kevin. He's from our neck of the woods so it was a real pleasure chatting with him.

We were over 30 minutes early for the scheduled tour shuttle, which was good because they showed up right after we did and wanted to leave.
The guide was very nice, but carried on a conversation with the passenger in the front seat for a lot of the time, and didn't inform us about much in the 3+ hours we spent in the van.
It was mostly cloudy all day, but he said it would clear up on top of the mountain. Well.. it didn't. He had a nice jackets, chairs and a blanket for everyone, as well as a nice telescope. The sky opened up for a quick look at Jupiter and it's moons, and our moon, but nothing else. We spent inside of 2 minutes total, looking through the telescope. Not much discussion of anything at all. It was a total bust and certainly not worth $230 per person. Make sure the sky will be clear and the moon will not be out as it makes it nearly impossible to see anything. Otherwise you're wasting your time and money. I know the tour guide doesn't control the weather, and he did offer a return trip next time we were on the island with a half day to spend in a van, but we will pass.

Our tour guide was awesome! Albachino was our tour guide and he was hilarious, knowledgeable, and so kind!

We had an amazing tour of the Road to Hana! Our tour guide/driver was Clarissa and she was outstanding! Hands down! She knew the road, shared her experience, and was very knowledgeable about the entire tour! Thank you!

Brian was a very experienced guide, and his driving was excellent, allowing us to enjoy the tour with peace of mind. Thank you very much. When I mentioned that I was worried about needing a restroom, he told me to let him know early if I thought it was urgent, which relieved my worries!

I decided to join this tour because I wanted to fulfill my long-held dream of visiting Haleakalā Mountain in Maui for my graduation trip. Since it was a small group, I was able to enjoy breathtaking views, eat delicious food, and have many conversations with the other participants, including our guide, Mr. Yama P. It became an unforgettable memory! The scenery, Mr. Yama P's personality, everything was amazing! Thank you very much!!

Perfect timing of the tour, and a great way to get to stargaze on Hawaii

I participated in this tour with my parents in November 2025. On the same day, there was an American couple who joined us, and our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, provided thorough explanations in both English and Japanese. He shared various sightseeing information about Maui, and we visited some recommended restaurants during our stay afterward. The views and the food were both very delicious, and we were quite satisfied. It was helpful to hear so much information!

We stopped at a supermarket to buy dinner, and the poke there was incredibly tasty. I definitely recommend purchasing it as Mr. Yamauchi suggested. You won't be disappointed.

And then there was Haleakalā. I was completely overwhelmed by the breathtaking nature. From above the clouds, overlooking all of Maui, I was enveloped in emotion as I watched the beautiful sunset, the island gradually fading into twilight, and the sparkling lights of the town. Unfortunately, the starry sky was obscured by thin clouds, so I couldn't see it clearly, but I did get to look at various planets through an impressive telescope. I could see Saturn quite well.

I have an iPhone 11, and its camera isn't very good, but Mr. Yamauchi took photos with his high-performance phone and shared them with me via AirDrop. He took many other pictures as well, allowing us to capture wonderful family memories. I was truly happy about that.

On the way back, we got excited talking about Southern music, and he played some Southern music in the car, which made both of my parents very happy. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness. When we talked about hula, he showed us various videos, which made me happy.

Overall, it was a tour with no complaints. I'm glad I participated in the tour. It was a lot of fun, and I was very, very happy to see my parents' joyful faces.

2025年11月にこちらのツアーで両親と三人で参加しました。同日、アメリカ人のカップルが一緒に参加されていましたが、ガイドの山内さんは英語と日本語両方でしっかりとご説明くださいました。マウイ島の観光情報について色々と教えてくださり、翌日以降の滞在でおすすめのレストランに行ったのですが、ヴューもご飯もとても美味しく満足でした。いろんな情報が聞けて助かりました！
途中寄ったスーパーで夕食を購入したのですが、そこのスーパーのPokeがとても美味しかったです。ぜひ山内さんのおすすめ通りに購入してみてください。外れません。
そしてハレアカラ。言わずもがなの自然に圧倒されっぱなしでした。マウイ島を一望できる雲海の上で、美しい夕日とと夕闇に染まりゆく島、そして街の煌びやかな明かりを目にして、じわりと感動に包まれました。星空は残念ながら薄雲がかかって綺麗に見ることはできなかったのですが、いかにも凄そうな望遠鏡でいろんな惑星を見ました。土星もしっかり見えました。
私の携帯はiPhone11でカメラ機能はあまり良くはないのですが、山内さんご自身の高性能の携帯カメラで撮ってくださり、それをAirDropで共有してくださいました。他にも写真をいっぱい撮ってくれて、素敵な家族写真を思い出に残すことができました。ほんとうに嬉しかったです。
帰りにはサザンの話で両親と盛り上がって、車内ではサザンの音楽をかけてくださって、二人ともとても大喜びでした。お気遣いをほんとうにありがとうございました。フラの話をした時には、いろんな動画を見せてくださって、嬉しかったです。
全体として文句のつけどころがないツアーでした。ツアーに参加して良かったです。とても楽しかったですし、両親の喜ぶ顔が見られてとてもとてもうれしかったです。

I have traveled to Hawaii over 20 times, but this is the first time I've been so impressed by an optional tour. I highly recommend that people in their teens, twenties, thirties, and forties participate and experience this emotion. (As you get older, it becomes harder to see due to presbyopia) *I experienced this too.

【Here are some checkpoints】
■ Scenic Points
They will definitely prepare spots that will truly impress everyone. However, it can be quite cold, so at a minimum, heat-tech clothing for both the upper and lower body is essential. If possible, bringing a thermos with warm drinks might be necessary. *Of course, warm tea is provided.
■ Shopping at the Supermarket
Korean seaweed is highly recommended. *Especially the wasabi flavor is the best.
■ Time
It takes quite a long time, including the round trip. The tour guide is fully proficient in both Japanese and English, so I recommend sitting close to the driver's seat for various educational talks.

I have participated in various optional tours, but I truly recommend this one. As someone who has children and grandchildren, I believe this experience will definitely become a wonderful memory.

The cost is on par with golfing in Waikiki, but the level is different.

■スーパーマーケットで買い物
　　韓国のりは、おすすめです。※特にワサビ味は最高
■時間
　　結構、往復含め長い時間がかかります。
　　ツアーガイドの方は、日本語／英語がフルスペックなので、
　　色々な勉強になるトークが出来る分、運転席に近い席をお勧めします。

色々なオプショナルに参加していますが、
本当に参加をお勧めします。
子供や孫を持つ一人の人間として、
この体験は必ず素敵な想い出になると思います。

ワイキキのゴルフと同レベルのコストですが、
レベルが違います。

The sunrise and sea of clouds viewed from the summit of Haleakalā was the best moment. The subsequent cycling tour was simply "amazing!" Although it was in English, the guide carefully explained the mountain biking precautions and led the way, which made me feel safe while riding. I definitely want to participate again.

ハレアカラ山頂から見る日の出と雲海のコラボ、最高のひと時でした。その後のサイクリングツアーは『気持ちいい！』の一言です！英語ガイドですが、マウンテンバイクの注意事項を丁寧に説明いただけ、かつ、先頭を走ってリードしてくれたので安心に走ることが出来ました。
是非ともまた参加したいと思います。

We really enjoyed the lunch stop on this tour, with delicious pizza and salad at Hana Farms.

Swimming under waterfalls, exploring the black sand beach, and enjoying stunning coastal, what a day!

The service is excellent and we are really appreciate our experience.
Stars are much more vivid at 10,000+ feet, even with naked eyes.
It’s well organized and we wish we can go back and re-take the trip, if possible.

From the time of pickup, there were thick clouds over the mountain, and it was raining below the clouds. Although the tour was conducted because it was said that the summit was above the clouds, even above 2000 meters, we were still in the clouds. At the summit, we couldn't see much because we were surrounded by clouds. The tour conditions state that there may be times when the weather is bad and the scenery cannot be enjoyed, so there was no cash back for the participation fee, but they mentioned that the next attempt would be free of charge.

ピックアップの時から山には厚い雲がかかっていて、雲の下では雨でした。頂上は雲の上とのことでツアーは催行されましたが、2000mを超えても雲の中。頂上も雲の中でほとんど何も見えませんでした。ツアー参加の条件として天候が悪く景観が楽しめないときもあります、とあるので参加費用のキャッシュバックはありませんでしたが、次回の再トライは無料で対応してくれるということでした。

Guide was great! & the heavens were just spectacular!

The farm tour was hosted by a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and it was quite impressive to learn how long it takes one pineapple to ripen and the work that goes into it. Absolutely delicious pineapple and the dinner included with this tour was delectable. You sit for dinner with the rest of the tour group and it was great to meet fellow travelers and hear their stories. A must do experience.

The guide, Yamap, was very attentive and taught us various things, and I am grateful for the care he showed us. It became a wonderful memory, and I definitely recommend going! Next, I want to challenge myself to see the summer night sky.

We participated as a couple. The scenery and content were outstanding, and we were very satisfied. Mr. Yamauchi, who was in charge, was very fun and kind, and his explanations about Maui and the starry sky were easy to understand, making for a wonderful memory. When we visit again, we definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much.

Out of the nine participants, we were the only two Japanese, and my wife didn't understand any English at all, but it was really comforting to have explanations in Japanese. The guide didn't even take a break to eat and prepared everything for us, for which we are truly grateful. The starry sky was absolutely amazing, and I was reminded of the summer constellations like the Summer Cross and Subaru that I had studied long ago, which I had completely forgotten about. At the end, the guide spoke in English, passionately discussing the vastness of the universe compared to the shortness and significance of human life, which left a deep impression on me as I got into the car (though I think my wife didn't understand). Initially, I thought it was naive to try to climb Haleakalā by myself. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

９人参加の中で日本人は私たち二人しかおらず、妻は全く英語がわからなかったのですが、やはり日本語で解説されるとホッとします。ガイドさんは自分の食事も取らず、私たちのために準備をしてくれて本当に感謝です。星空も本当に素晴らしくてかつて勉強した夏の十字星やスバルなど久しぶりに聴き、すっかり忘れていたなと思い返しました。最後にガイドさんが英語でしたが、宇宙の壮大さに比べ、人間の人生の短さやその意義などを熱く語ってくれて感激して帰りの車に乗りました（家内はわからなかったと思うけど）。最初は自分でハレアカラに登ろうとしたことが本当に浅はかでした。また機会があれば参加したいと思います。

Unforgettable day! The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the long drive feel like part of the adventure. We visited several waterfalls (some with short hikes), and the lush rainforest scenery was stunning!

h. The guide explained the entire pineapple-growing process in an easy, engaging way, and the tasting was excellent, truly the freshest pineapple I’ve ever had

Yoshi was amazing, he made the entire trip up and down the mountain entertaining just by his talking, facts and nice collection of soothing music. We went with a full bus and still managed to make room for one extra family member, so eight of the back we were grateful for this. The entire sight on the top of the mountaintop was beautiful and alien like but the highlight was the star gazing where Yoshi quickly set up his two telescopes and chairs and blankets for everyone along with the jackets he had already provided us. This coupled with his extensive knowledge of the stars made the entire trip a once in a lifetime experience. I only hope that my soon to be wife and I can take our future children to this tour with Yoshi. I’ll put it to you like this, even if we hadn’t seen any stars I would have been happy just having him drive us up and down the mountain and I had already done it myself, that’s how much I enjoyed his commentary and the ride.

Yoshi was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide with the whole experience being relaxed. We saw some wonderful, once in a lifetime sights. Would definitely recommend this tour.

It was an experience that exceeded my imagination. The sunset and starry sky were very moving. Yamapi's explanations were also easy to understand.

Beyond my expectations! Yama-Pee, our guide, was truly exceptional. With abundant knowledge and experience, along with great attention to detail, I had a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime experience, for which I am grateful. Watching the sunset from the summit of Haleakalā, exploring the impressively large crater, enjoying the magnificent starry sky, and observing Jupiter through a telescope—each of these moments was a treasured memory that will stay in my heart forever.

期待以上の感動！山ピーガイドさん、さすがでした。知識、経験豊富な上、気配りもあって、人生に一度の素晴らしい体験が出来て、感謝です。ハレアカラ山頂からの夕日、度肝をぬかれるサイズのクレーター見学、素晴らしい星空鑑賞、望遠鏡を覗いて木星観察、どれもこれも、一生心に残る宝物の時間でした。

I really enjoyed having a bright and energetic female guide. As we walked, she explained various things about flowers and plants, making it a fulfilling experience. It was also fun to interact and spend time with people I met for the first time in a friendly atmosphere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and this was the best sunset and stargazing tour that my friend and I have participated in. Mr. Yoshi was very friendly from start to finish -- he made sure that we had time to eat food, stay hydrated, and rest well as we climbed in elevation. I was originally worried I wouldn't get to get my stamp for my national park passport because of the visitor center closure, but Mr. Yoshi asked the entrance park employee for a stamp on a post-it note, and it made my day! He knew the best places for sunset, and was very knowledgeable about all the stars. We learned so much about the sky, and enjoyed peaceful moments just looking up. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone spending time on Maui!

I enjoyed the sunset sinking into the clouds and the starry sky. It was a wonderful experience, and I’m very glad I had it. It was also great to see the stars through the telescope.

I experienced that Maui is not just about the ocean. The tropical rainforest is something you can't easily see in Japan, so it was great. Jumping into the waterfall was something I was too scared to do, but I think young people should give it a try at least once.
