Guide had lots of funny stories throughout the way, and always made sure we were comfortable on this crazy road!

It was truly a dream-like day (╹◡╹). It was my first time on Maui, and I received a lot of information and stories not just about Maui but other topics as well. Dining while watching the sunset from the summit was a luxurious experience that only those who have done it can appreciate. The music that played in each situation was a stylish touch typical of Yamapi, and I was so moved by the song that played while gazing at the starry sky that I ended up in tears (^◇^;). The hospitality was incredible. I gained the courage to live my life authentically. If you go to Maui, I absolutely recommend this tour. I hope to visit again in a different season. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

もう〜夢のような1日でした（╹◡╹）
マウイ島は初めてだったのですが、いろいろな情報を教えて下さったり、マウイ島以外のお話なんかもたくさんしてくださいました。
また山頂では、沈んでいく夕日を見ながらの食事は、経験した者にしか味わえない贅沢な気分でした。
シチュエーション毎に流れる音楽の演出はヤマピーさんらしく粋なはからいに脱帽です。
特に星空を眺めている時に流れた曲は、感動して泣いちゃいました(^◇^;)
おもてなしが半端ないです。
これからの人生を自分らしく生きる勇気をいただきました♡
マウイ島に行かれたら、ぜーーーったいオススメのツアーですよ。
また違う季節にお邪魔させてください。

I previously participated in a stargazing and sunrise tour on the Big Island, and this sunset and stargazing tour was also amazing. Additionally, Mr. Yamauchi's guidance was excellent, and I'm really glad I joined. I would like to recommend it to my daughter and her husband as well.

以前ハワイ島で星空とサンライズのツアーに参加したことがありますが、今回のサンセットと星空のツアーも最高でした。また、山内さんのガイドも最高で、本当に参加して良かったです。娘夫婦にも薦めたいと思います。

Make sure to bundle like they say, it was very chilly when the sun quickly crept down!

With one family constantly running late, it drove the guide so mad that he stopped talking mid tour and gave us nothing.. it was sad

The black sand beach was such an awesome stop, we were really happy to have this part taken care of for us as well as a wonderful day!

We were excited to learn about and taste the Maui Gold pineapples. They live up to their reputation! Super sweet and flavorful! We were disappointed that the workers had all gone home by 1:45pm on a Tuesday when our tour was. We would have liked to have seen them sorting the pineapples, etc.

Although the clouds and full moon made it difficult to see a beautiful sunset and a starry sky, Yamapi's thoughtfulness and conversation were excellent. I definitely want to try again.

Yoshi was absolutely amazing! From the prompt pick up, the hospitality (tea, snacks) and the amazing knowledge, this is a tour I will always remember. Words can’t express how awesome being at that height and seeing the stars as you stand above the clouds was. Yoshi knew and shared so much and even had coats and gloves for us all as it does get cold at that height. He even showed us how to adjust the settings on our phones to timelapse and take great pictures. 1000% recommend Yoshi and this tour if you want to experience something breathtaking.

This was the second stargazing tour guided by Yamapi in 2023. It seems that visitors to Maui have returned after the Lahaina wildfire in August 2023, as the area near the summit was crowded, but we were able to fully enjoy the great nature and the starry sky in a fantastic location. We also enjoyed donuts and coffee, and I was once again impressed by the kind explanations and support from Mr. Yamauchi, a veteran of the stargazing tour. This is an highly recommended optional tour for anyone traveling to Maui.

マウイ島を訪ねる人たちも戻ってきたようで
頂上付近は混雑してましたが、絶好のエリアで大自然と星空を満喫できました。ドーナツやコーヒーなども頂いて星空ツアーベテランの山内さんの親切な説明と対応に今回も感服いたしました。マウイ島旅行では超おすすめのオプショナルツアーです。

We had a great time learning about the folklore of the island and seeing all the beautiful natural wonders Maui has to offer!

I was able to observe the sunset and the starry sky from the summit of Haleakalā. The guide provided a wonderful pair of binoculars and a telescope, and we observed the stars while receiving explanations. I saw more stars than I have ever seen before, and I was able to see Saturn beautifully through the telescope, which was very moving. I highly recommend this tour!

ハレアカラの山頂から夕日と星空を観測できました。ガイドさんが立派な双眼鏡と望遠鏡を用意してくれ、星の解説と共に観測しました。今まで観たことがないほどの星が観れ、また望遠鏡を通して土星まで綺麗に観れ、とても感動しました。ぜひおすすめしたいツアーです！

If it's a round trip tour, there were stops along the way, and we enjoyed a leisurely dinner while watching the sunset, making it an enjoyable experience without any dull moments.

往復長旅となるツアーでしたら、途中立ち寄りがあったりゆっくりとサンセットを楽しみながらの夕食タイムなど飽きることなく楽しめました。

Early early morning but it saves you the time from needing a reservation, and with breakfast included in makes it a bit easier to balance out the early am!

Sensory overload in the best way, every twist and turn of the road another magical waterfall appears.

This was easy way to hit the road to Hana as we did not want to drive. Loved the black sand beach so much

We were trying to find a perfect mix on Hana and this was it- the local farm stop really made it feel like more than just a stop and go tour!

Getting the pineapple to bring back to the condo after was the best!

Went with family and had a wonderful time in the gorgeous pineapple farm!

My kids wanted something quicker, and the guides are so great!

Hands down…. The best activity my wife and I have had in our 6-day vacation in Maui. David was an exceptional tour guide! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about all the hiking spots and locations, but he was also entertaining and genuinely friendly throughout the trip. What truly set him apart was his dedication and care for his customers. My wife lost her phone while hiking, and David went above and beyond by returning to the trail to search for it. That phone held all our photos and memories from our trip to Hawaii, and thanks to David, we were able to recover it. Without him, our 6-day vacation could have turned into a disaster. We are so grateful for his kindness and professionalism—he truly made our trip unforgettable.

I was taken on a tour by Yamapi. Fortunately, it was just my group, so we had the chance to talk about various recommended spots in Maui and Honolulu, as well as Yamapi's life stories while he guided us up the mountain.

We took photos at a scenic spot, watched the sunset, and waited for the stars. Since it was about half a moon, the Milky Way was only faintly visible, but there was no wind at all, so I didn't have to worry about the cold. (It seems that it’s usually quite windy and cold, but we just happened to have calm weather that day.) They also provide blankets and warm clothing, which is reassuring.

We slowly looked at various stars through a telescope while receiving explanations. The photo of the moon was one I took with my phone while trying to capture what I saw through the telescope. They also teach you how to take photos of stars with your phone, so you can get beautiful shots even with an iPhone camera.

I truly felt that participating in this activity, where you can experience the rich nature and vast sky, was a great decision. I will definitely bring my brother and his wife next year.

やまぴーさんのガイドで連れて行ってもらいました。
ラッキーな事に自分のグループのみだったので、色々マウイやホノルルのお勧めスポットの話や、やまぴーさんの人生談など、色々お話しながら山に連れて行ってもらいました。

写真スポットで写真を撮ってもらって、夕日を見送り、星待ち。
半月くらいだったので、天の川はうっすらしか見えなかったですが、全く風が無く、寒さの心配無用でした。
（本当にたまたま風がなかっただけで、いつもは結構風もあって寒いみたいです）
毛布や防寒着も貸してくれるので安心です。

天体望遠鏡でいろんな星を解説してもらいながらゆっくり見せてもらいました。
月の写真は天体望遠鏡で見えるのを頑張って携帯で撮ったものです。
携帯での星の写真の撮り方も教えてくれるので、iPhoneのカメラでもキレイに撮れます。

自然豊かで大きな空を感じられるこのアクティビティは本当に参加して良かったと思えました。
また来年は弟夫婦も連れて必ず行きます。

It was raining on the way to the summit, but since we went to a place higher than the clouds, we saw many rainbows. The weather didn't seem to matter at all.

It was very cold at the summit at night, but they lent us coats and blankets, so with sufficient cold protection, we were able to observe the Milky Way and many stars, which made us very satisfied.

山頂までの間雨が降っていましたが、雲より高い場所に行くため、たくさんの虹が見えました。天気は全く気にしなくて良いみたいでした。

山頂夜間はとても寒いですがコート、毛布を貸していただけ、十分な防寒対策の上天の川やたくさんの星を観察でき、非常に満足しました。

Yoshi was a wonderful guide, and he took great care of us on all those winding roads. He thought of everything and provided us water, coats, chairs and even telescopes so we could see the starts. He even helped us set up our phones so we could take pictures of the night sky. This tour would be a must for those visiting Maui.

I was attracted to participate because of the opportunity to connect with nature. I wasn't really eager to jump into the waterfall pool, but the people around me were kind and encouraged me, so I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be less scary than I expected, and I had a lot of fun. I felt a sense of accomplishment and, for some reason, I felt very refreshed. I didn't think it would be this interesting.

自然に親しめることが魅力で参加しました。滝壺に飛び込むなんて、本当はやりたくない…と乗り気でなかったのですが、まわりの人たちが親切にしてくれて励ましてくれたので、思いきってやってみようと決意しました。思っていたよりも怖くなくて、ワクワクして楽しかったです。達成感があり、何故かとてもスッキリした気持ちになりました。こんなに面白いとは思っていませんでした。

We really enjoyed our trip to the top to view both the sunset and the stars. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating--he saw to our every need. He supplied chairs, blankets, hot tea and donuts (bonus). He also brought two telescopes and was able to show us so much more than we had ever seen before. Truly and incredible experience. Bring food (dinner) and warm clothing.

I signed up mainly to see the sunset, but unfortunately, due to heavy traffic, the time to enjoy the sunset was shortened. However, the stargazing afterward was wonderful, truly like a natural planetarium, and I was very moved. The guide, Yamapi, was also interesting, and although it was a long travel time, I was able to enjoy it without getting bored. If I have the chance, I would like to participate again and recommend it to my family.

夕焼けをメインで観に行きたく申し込んだが、あいにくの大渋滞で夕焼けを楽しむ時間は短かくなりました。ただその後の星空鑑賞が素晴らしく、まさに天然のプラネタリウムでとても感動しました。ガイドのヤマピーさんの話も面白く、長い移動時間ではあったが飽きずに楽しめました。機会があればまた参加し、家族にも勧めたいと思います。
