Bob and I went to Maui to have an amazing anniversary trip and this was the highlight of our trip. The personal attention that we received from our tour guide, Ed, was beyond expectations. We learned about the island and it was in a pleasant atmosphere. The sights and weather were beautiful and we will never forget the time we spent on this trip. The Orchid farm was awesome and the owners were very informative. My orchids were delivered after I returned home and they greet me each morning with the beautiful smell and sights of them. This was the best hours of our trip and we enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you Ed for making our anniversary one to remember.

Service was great. Pick-up and drop-off in a timely manner. Clean van/bus. Friendly and knowledgeable driver. Delicious breakfast. Incredible sunrise!!

Our guide Ed was very informative throughout the tour. I would recommend taking a tour rather than driving it, the bus drivers know the roads well so you feel safe. Other people have mentioned it was a bumpy ride but i didnt think so. There is nothing much in Hana itself, its more the journey getting there, great scenery...

Initially, we considered driving there ourselves, but choosing this tour was definitely the right decision!

The hiking trail was longer than we imagined, so driving would have been tough, but more importantly, the owner of Maui All Stars, Mr. Yamauchi, was fantastic.

I was torn between sunrise and sunset, but considering the clarity of the air, he strongly recommended sunset! We were able to enjoy the starry sky at a leisurely pace.

Mr. Yamauchi is very knowledgeable about the stars and provided various telescopes, big and small. He shared interesting and engaging stories that entertained both kids and adults.

The heartfelt services, such as the background music during stargazing, chairs, bento boxes, and warm tea, left us truly impressed.

He was also skilled with digital cameras and made thoughtful arrangements for our photos. We got some amazing shots at the summit!

In any case, if you're going to Haleakalā, I highly recommend participating in this tour.

If I ever go to Maui again, I would love to do it once more.

当初、自分たちで車で行くことも考えていましたが、このツアーにして大正解でした！


登山道は想像以上に長い道のりだったので、運転はつらかっただろうという理由もありますが、それ以上に、マウイオールスターズのオーナーのヤマウチさんは素晴らしかったからです。

サンライズかサンセットかで迷っていたのですが、空気の澄み具合を考えると、絶対サンセットがおすすめ！とのことでした。星空もゆっくり楽しめました。

ヤマウチさんは星空に大変詳しくて、大小様々な望遠鏡を用意してくれた上、子どもたちも大人も楽しめるように、丁寧で面白いお話を聞かせてくれました。

星空観測の時のＢＧＭや椅子、幕の内弁当やあたたかいお茶など、心のこもったサービスで感激しっぱなしでした。

デジカメの扱いにも精通していて、いろいろ配慮して撮影してくれました。
山頂では、驚きの写真も！

とにかく、ハレアカラに行くなら、ぜひ参加してほしいです。

私も、もしまたマウイに行くことがあったら、もう一度行きたいです。

I participated on July 27. As the sunset approached, the twilight turned into pitch darkness, making it so dark that I couldn't see my feet at all.

However, when I looked up, there was a sky full of stars... I enjoyed a stargazing walk while listening to Mr. Yamauchi's commentary (*^_^*).

I will definitely participate again next time (＾◇＾).

About eight years ago, I participated in a stargazing tour. As I was visiting Maui again after a long time, my entire family unanimously wanted to join once more, so we made a reservation.

On the day of the tour, there were some thin clouds, and I was worried about whether we would be able to see the stars, but when we looked up at the observation point, we were greeted with a sky full of stars. The beauty of the stars seen through the telescope was, of course, breathtaking, but I was truly moved by Mr. Yamauchi's explanations and stories.

During dinner, there was a question about what food you would want to eat as your last meal in life, and I can say without hesitation that if I could only visit one place before I die, it would be to see this starry sky. Of course, with Mr. Yamauchi's explanations... Thank you!

8年ほど前に参加させていただいた星空観測ツアー。久しぶりにマウイを訪れるにあたり、家族全員一致でもう一度参加したいとの思いで予約しました。
当日は若干うす雲が広がり、星空が見えるかどうか気がかりでしたが、いざ観測地点で見上げると一面の星空。
天体望遠鏡を通じてみた星々の美しさはもちろんでしたが、山内さんの解説や話の内容にただただ感激のひとときでした。
食事中に、一生のうちで最後に食べたい食べ物は何？などという質問がありましたが、死ぬまでに一カ所だけ行けるとしたら、文句なしにこの星空を見に行きたいと言えます。もちろん、山内さんの解説付きで…

On July 14th, which was exactly between the new moon and the full moon, we were able to see a wonderful sunset with no wind. This was my second trip to Maui, and I traveled with my family (including my 87-year-old mother), but this tour was attended by my six siblings. Since we used a car for the entire itinerary, there wasn't much walking involved, and I thought my mother could have joined us. I was moved by the amazing sunset and the romantic starry sky, and I was very satisfied with the explanations and personality of our tour guide, Yamapi. I would like to participate again during the new moon next time. I absolutely recommend it.

サンセットを見ることができました。今回マウイは二回目、旅行はファミリー（８７歳の母を含む）でいきましたがこのツアーは兄弟姉妹６人で参加しました。全行程車利用でしたのでそんなに歩くところもなく、これなら母も参加すればよかったと思いました。素晴らしいサンセットとロマンあふれる星空に感動、ツアーガイドのヤマピーさんの説明や人柄等とても満足のいくものでした。次回は新月の時にまた参加したいと思っています。
絶対おすすめです。

Great activity to do with a family, my 14 yr old son had a great time jumping off the waterfalls. Very fun and informative. Had Jeremy as a guide, he was wonderful.

You will not regret a single moment on this tour. The views are breathtaking, and amazing to experience. Waterfalls, exotic flowers, rainforests, trees, turquoise waters, and those cliffs and one lane bridges! Beautiful. I traveled with my husband, little girl, my mom and mother in law. We took with us many happy memories on this tour. A must see!

My husband and I heard wonderful things about the Haleakala sunrise, and knew that it was going to be one of our activities on our honeymoon. However, we knew that the bike tour option was a little more daring than we had hoped. After doing some research and finding this tour, we knew that this was the route we wanted to take.

The tour picked us up EARLY (just before 2am), and we boarded the bus. On the way up, our driver gave us the "disclaimer," that nobody can control the weather except mother nature, and it will either be crystal clear and beautiful...or...cloudy and disappointing. Luckily for us, it was, quite literally, PERFECT.

As the sun rose, the colors changed so beautifully and two native Hawaiians sung a traditional chant. We stayed for a few more pictures, then took the bus from the lookout point to summit (quick drive), then stopped at another lookout point before heading down to breakfast.

If you are going to Maui, make sure you take this trip!

I didn't have high expectations, but the sunset at the summit of Haleakalā, the ever-changing mountain weather, and the starry sky that spread out above were all wonderful. I was moved.

あまり期待をかけてなかったのですが、ハレアカラ山頂のサンセットも刻々と変わる山の天気も、満天に広がる星空も　全てが素晴らしかったです。感動しました。

Since I'm going to Maui, I thought I had to visit Haleakalā, so I participated! I was torn between the sunrise and sunset, but I chose the sunset because it was easy with a departure time of 4:00 PM and I could see the starry sky.

As a result, it was even better than I expected! I was moved to tears by the beautiful sunset seen from above the clouds. The highlight was definitely our guide, Yamauchi. I would want to request Yamauchi again when I come back!

One thing to note is that it gets very cold, so make sure to dress warmly, and I think it's better to go when it's cloudy and when the moon is not full! The moonlight can make it difficult to see the beautiful starry sky!

　マウイに行くからにはハレアカラにいかなきゃと思い参加しました！　サンライズとサンセットで迷ったんですが、星空まで見れて、出発時間が16：00と楽だったのでえらびました。
結果、予想以上にとてもよかったです！　雲の上からみる綺麗なサンセットに感激して涙もでました。とにかくよかった点はガイドのヤマウチさんです。
またきたときには、またヤマウチさんにお願いしたいくらいです！
注意点としては、とても寒いのでしっかりとした防寒をすることと、曇りの時と、月が満月以外がいいとおもいます！月の明りでせっかくの星空が見えにくくなるそうです！

I had the best memories of any tour I've experienced so far. Of course, it's thanks to our guide. I'm really glad I chose this Haleakalā tour with Maui All Stars. They took great care of us. To prevent altitude sickness, they made sure to take breaks while enjoying the journey to the summit, and I didn't experience any of the health issues I had feared. I truly enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart. I want my husband to experience this wonderful feeling as well. Someday, I definitely want to share this view with him and enjoy the moment together. Of course, with Maui All Stars...

今まで、経験したツアーの中で最高の思い出ができました。もちろん、ガイドさんのおかげもあります。「このハレアカラのツアーがマウイオールスターズ」で良かった。本当によくして頂きました。高山病を防ぐために数回に分けて楽しみながら休憩を入れて山頂へ連れて行ってくださり、恐れていた体調不良も無く、心から楽しめました。この素晴らしい感動を主人にもしてもらいたい。また、いつか必ずこの景色を夫と感動を分かち合いながら眺めたいと思います。もちろん、マウイオールスターズで・・・

Was a awesome adventure, our tour guide Jake was so knowledgable, attentive, and very entertaining. We learned so much about the history of Hawaii. I was a little worried about the road to Hana, but could not have asked for a safer driver, we felt safe with him behind the wheel. Jake make sure we were happy, safe, and content. Food and drinks were always being offered. He was always ready to take pictures of us. the day just flew by. Will recommend this tour to everyone.

My husband and I participated the day after our arrival in Maui, but due to bad weather, we couldn't see the stars at the summit because it was foggy. We returned and rescheduled for two days later to try again.

I heard that the only way to do a comeback with just the cost of lunch and the national park entrance fee (a total of $15) is through Maui All Stars.

Two days later, the weather improved, and we were able to see a sea of clouds, a beautiful sunset with the green flash, the shadow of the Earth, and a bright moon close to full moon, along with a moonbow that can only be seen when there is no water vapor in the distance.

Our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, mentioned that since the full moon was approaching, the stars were not as visible as usual, but we were still able to see many stars, including those not visible in Japan, the profile of Mickey on the moon, and the stripes of Jupiter.

While listening to explanations under the stars, they provided chairs, large blankets, and warm tea, allowing us to lean back and slowly gaze at the stars. Standing and looking up can be tiring on the neck, but sitting in a chair is very comfortable.

This is also a thoughtful gesture from Mr. Yamauchi based on his experience. He set up the telescopes and arranged chairs for the participants without even having lunch himself. It's no surprise that many people have commented on Mr. Yamauchi's character in their experiences.

Since I don't often have the opportunity to see stars, I had a very valuable experience thanks to Mr. Yamauchi. Next time, I would like to participate when it is as far from the full moon as possible.

主人と二人でマウイ到着翌日に参加しましたが、悪天候のため頂上まで行っても霧がかかっていて星は見られる状態ではなく帰ってきて、スケジュールを空けていた２日後にリベンジしました。

お弁当と国立公園の入園料（計＄１５）のみでリベンジできるのは、マウイオールスターズだけだと聞いています。

２日後は天候も回復して、雲海、美しいサンセットと共にグリーンフラッシュ、地球の影、そして満月近くの明るい月と遠くに水蒸気が発生していないと見えないムーンボウまで見ることができました。

ガイドの山内さんは満月が近いから星がいつもよりは見えていないとおっしゃいますが、星もたくさん見ることができ、日本では見えない星、月面の横顔ミッキー、木星の縞模様も見られました。

たくさんの星を見ながら説明を聞く時は、イスと大きいブランケット、温かいお茶を用意して下さるので、背もたれに頭を預けて上を向いてゆっくり星が見られます。
立って上を見ていると首が疲れますが、イスに座るととても楽チンです。

これも山内さんのご経験からの心遣いです。
お弁当も食べずに参加者のためにイスを出して望遠鏡などをセットしていらっしゃいました。
体験談で山内さんのお人柄にふれている方が多いのも納得です。


普段なかなか星を見る機会がないので、山内さんのお陰でとても貴重な体験ができました。
次回はなるべく満月から遠い時に参加したいと思います。

I usually don't look at stars, so I decided to participate in this experience in Hawaii. The explanations were great, and being able to observe various stars through the telescope was a wonderful experience. Mr. Yamauchi's talk also touched my heart. It's a tour that gives you energy.

普段星なんて見ないので、ハワイでは体験してみようと参加。
解説も良かったし、望遠鏡でいろいろな星を観察できたのがとても良い体験でした。
山内さんのお話も心にしみました。
元気をもらえるツアーです。

We participated as a family. The sunset at Haleakalā was amazing!!!! The starry sky was great too!!! We saw a lot of shooting stars. Since it is at a lower elevation than Mauna Kea on the Big Island, it was easier physically. I think it's good for elderly people and small children. I want to go again.

ハワイ島のマウナケアより標高が低いので体力的にはこちらのほうが楽でした。お年寄りや小さなお子さんにはいいと思いました。また行きたいです。

Anna was very knowledgeable of the plants and water falls.Anna paced the hike for young and mature and gave everyone the oppurtunity to participate. We didn't know what to expect but were very pleased at the end of the adventure.Mahalo

This was an ultimate favorite trip with Hawaii activities. The most interesting part for us was the star sky and our two guides Greg and Chris. They were so impressive good to tell about the stars and volcanoes. So Hawaii activities be sure to keep those two guys as loooong as possible. Worth every penny!

The sunset was beautiful, but I was also impressed by the magnificence of the night sky! The meal was a delicious makunouchi bento, which was a relief for my stomach after eating so much bread. The guide's slightly poignant stories were moving and felt like a cleansing for my heart.

However, those with a slight cold should be cautious! I ended up with acute aerotitis media and had to have my eardrum surgically opened after returning home.

Next time, I would love to see the summer night sky!

夕日もさることながら、夜空の素晴らしさも感激しました！
食事もおいしい幕の内弁当で、パン食続きだった胃にはありがたかったです。
ガイドの方のちょっとしんみりと考えさせられるお話も私的には心が洗い流されるようで感動しました。

ただ、鼻風邪気味の方は要注意！急性航空性中耳炎になってしまい、帰国してから鼓膜を切開しました。

今度は夏の夜空も見てみたいな！と思います。

Our guide Glenn was really great. Not only was he a excellent driver ( and the mountain driving can be challenging), he was very knowlegable about Maui, Hawaii and talked us through most of the tour. He was very polite, informative and over all was great. We were on time for everything and he kept everyone interested. I'm glad we chose to do this, because being our first time in Hawaii I would not have wanted to drive the mountain in the early hours of the morning. I would definitely go back again. The Haleakala sunrise and crater are a wonder to be seen. Thanks Glenn for making it even more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset, but we were able to see the Milky Way and many shooting stars! I've participated in various tours abroad, but I was surprised by the attentive service of our guide! They provide blankets, coats, and gloves, but I wish I had worn tights or long socks to keep my feet a bit warmer. There were some rocky areas, but if you're confident about not twisting your ankle, I think it's totally fine to wear heels. I highly recommend it!

残念ながらサンセットは見れませんでしたが、天の川や流れ星がたくさん見れました♪海外で色んなツアーに参加したことがありますが、当ガイドさんの丁寧なサービスにビックリしました！！
毛布、コート、手袋を貸して頂けますが、タイツかロングソックスをで足元をもうちょっと暖かくして行けば良かったと思いました。ゴツゴツした岩場も少しありましたが、足を捻ったりしない自信があれば全然ヒールでも大丈夫だと思います。お勧めです♪

The view from Haleakalā was truly amazing. The sunset changes its expression from day to day, and the starry sky was unlike anything I've ever seen; it's beyond words.

Also, our guide, Yamapee, had such a pleasant personality. His attentive service, guidance at the location until our arrival, and the insider tips about Maui made for an experience that exceeded my expectations.

The warm clothing provided was great, and there was nothing to complain about—both the outdoor bento and the grilled ice were wonderful!

ハレアカラの絶景は、本当に最高でした。その日その日によって表情を変えるサンセット、今まで見たことがない程の星空、言葉になりません。

そしてガイドのYamapeeさんの人柄がとても心地よいです。
気配りの届いた対応、到着までの場所でのガイド、マウイのお得情報も聞くことができ、思った以上の素晴らしい体験ができました。

This was a completely unique experience. The beauty and grand experience of the sunrise over the volcano was breathtaking. Bob, our guide, was prompt, courteous and entertaining while being very attentive to the difficult road conditions. He also gave us suggestions about places to eat and things to do during our stay.We throughly enjoyed the tour and would do it again.

I went to Maui for the first time and participated in the Haleakalā sunset and stargazing tour. There were four of us: a group of three consisting of a mother and her two daughters, and me. It was nice to have fewer people, making it more relaxed. The moon was out, so the visibility of the stars wasn't great, but the sunset was beautiful. I was able to have a valuable experience. Next time, I would like to go during the new moon.

始めてマウイ島に行きましたので、ハレアカナのサンセット星空ツアーに参加しました。
参加していたのは、母と娘さん二人の３名のグループと私の４人でしたが、人が多いよりゆったりしていて良かったです。
月が出ていたので、星空の見えぐわいは、今一でしたが
サンセットは、よく見えました。
貴重な体験をする事が出来ました。次に行く時は、新月の時に行きたいと思いています。

We participated in a tour as a family.
Although the clouds were thick at the summit of Haleakalā and we couldn't see the sunset, we were able to witness a wonderful starry sky.
The starry sky at 3,000 meters on Haleakalā was truly amazing.
The tour owner, Mr. Yamauchi, guided us into the wonderful world of the stars.
Thank you for a very lovely time.

I was also able to see a magnificent sight under the starry sky.

First, I was filled with the stars in the sky. The Milky Way was clearly visible, and shooting stars appeared so quickly that I didn't even have time to make a wish; it was a series of breathtaking moments. I was well-prepared for the cold, and at just the right time, warm tea was served, making me forget the chill as I looked up at the sky. The warm bento was delicious as well. I encountered stars I had never seen before, like the red star and the butterfly star. I would love to participate again.

まずは満天の星に満堂しました。
Milky Wayが鮮明に観え、流れ星も祈る間も無い速さで現れ感動の連続でした。
寒さ対策も万全で、タイミングよく暖かいお茶が出て寒さを忘れて顔は天を仰いだままでした。
暖かいお弁当も美味しかったです。
赤い星、蝶の星など初めての星の出会いもありました。
また参加したいです。

After completing the 2012 Maui Marathon, I participated with my important partner. Initially, I was worried about whether I could enjoy it after running, but with Yamauchi-san's excellent guidance and the beautiful sunset, all the fatigue from the marathon disappeared.

Later, I couldn't stop crying at the starry sky, which looked like a treasure chest turned upside down against the pitch-black night sky. Thanks to the techniques of our guide Yamauchi-san, we miraculously got to see Saturn, which was truly amazing!

This was the first time I had such a wonderful experience, and I feel like it changed my perspective on life. I also fell in love with Maui, the sky, and the mountains thanks to the best tempura (laughs) and the fantastic guide. I'm really glad I could share this experience with my important partner. I want to participate again with someone special. Thank you, Yamauchi-san and all the staff!

2012年マウイマラソンを完走した後に大切なパートナーと参加しました。当初は走った後に楽しむことができるのかが不安でしたが、山内さんの最高のガイドと美しいサンセットでマラソンの疲労も吹っ飛びました。
その後、漆黒の夜空にまるで宝石箱をひっくりがえしたような星空に涙が止まりませんでした。
ガイドの山内さんのテクニックのおかげで、奇跡的に土星もみることができ本当に最高！でした。

このような素晴らしい体験は産まれて初めてで、人生観が変わった気がします。
また最高の天プラ(笑)と最高のガイドでマウイ、空、山を最高に好きになりました。
この経験を最高に大切なパートナーと参加できて本当によかったです。
