Good but very very long day so hard on the younger kids. Glad we did it but wouldn't do it again.

I was relieved to have made a reservation in advance from Japan since it was fully booked at the time. I was captivated by the eloquent guide and had a wonderful time. I learned that Haleakalā has no "sound," which was a very strange sensation. I also enjoyed a magnificent sunset and had a great time stargazing. Lastly, I was able to hear the guide's heartwarming stories, and I truly felt that participating in this tour was a great decision.

当時は満席との事で日本から事前予約をしておいて一安心。お話の上手なガイドさんに魅せられ、楽しい時間を過ごしました。ハレアカラは❝音❞がないと教えていただき、とても不思議な感覚でした。素晴らしいサンセットも鑑賞し、星空観測も満喫。最後にガイドさんの心温まるお話をう伺うことが出来て、本当にこのツアーに参加してヨカッタと思います。

It was January 18th, and the mountaintop before sunrise was very cold with strong winds. However, when the sun finally appeared from behind the sea of clouds, it was beautiful and very moving. The sunrise spot was crowded, so we got off the bus and waited in the cold for over 30 minutes. I think it’s a good idea to prepare for the cold with wind protection in mind.

1月18日でしたが、日の出前の山頂は、風が強くとても寒かったです。。が、雲海の向こうから太陽がようやく顔を出したときは、きれいでとても感動しました。日の出スポットは混雑していたので、30分以上前からバスから出て寒い中待っていました。風よけを意識して防寒対策しておくと良いと思いました。

We had a very good time on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. More mud than expected but very enjoyable just the same.

Your guide was the best. He knew the name of every tree flower and bush. He knew the story behind the water falls and how they feed the water system. It was a fun journey. Unfortunately we could not return on the helicopter because it was too windy and raining. Veltra was quick to give us a refund for the helicopter. This is the way to go if you want to see Hana and all the sights.

I recommend participating if you can enjoy a relaxed stay in Maui!
It seems that a permit is required to reach the summit, making it a valuable experience that you can't do on your own.
As everyone has mentioned, the tour included a sunset, mountains, clouds, and stars, all allowing you to feel the beauty of nature.

山頂までは許可証が必要のようで、自力ではいけない貴重な体験ができます。
内容はみなさんが書かれている通りで、サンセット、山、雲、星すべてが大自然を感じられるツアーでした。

Highly recommended tour. This is a Private tour so there is no rush and the views were spectacular. Not only did we get to see the island's secret spots, we also gained a new friend, Gustavo our tour guide. Awesome guy that was as knowledgeable as he was kind and friendly.

If you haven't had the chance to view the sunset at Haleakala it is worth the trip.. allowing someone else to drive while you sit back and relax, is the way to go. the Dinner was ok, My wife ate the vegetarian fare and passed on most of it. The driver was great, full of knowledge and passed it freely. Its nice to know some the history of Maui..

This is a must do. There is nothing like it. You are picked up early but it is well worth it. Once you get up to the summit and watch that breathtaking sunrise and view, you will not regret it. Our tour guide,Gary was fantastic.He was very knowledgeable. The morning ended with a delicious breakfast. Glad we didn't miss this experience!

The sunset and starry sky were an unmissable part of the plan. My husband was on his first trip to Hawaii and was looking for optional tours that could only be experienced in Hawaii. The vast sky filled with countless stars was beyond words! The people who joined the tour were all very pleasant, which further elevated the mood.

The lunch included in the tour allowed us to choose our favorite items from a supermarket along the way, and there were chairs, blankets, and warm tea provided, making it perfect for a toast with tea! The location for stargazing was also fantastic, but I feel it was made even more enjoyable thanks to our guide. The guide was very friendly and attentive, and with their encouragement to "take it slow," I didn't feel any anxiety about my condition at the summit. Instead of just saying, "Let's go back after seeing the stars," they taught us various ways to enjoy the experience at different points. They shared stories and made the time enjoyable.

On the way there, the guide talked about various sightseeing spots, and on the way back, they curated music to help us soak in the afterglow and kept the conversation minimal to allow us to rest our tired bodies, which I really appreciated. It became a time to relax and reflect on the emotional experience of the starry sky.

I truly felt that the time spent with my loved one was made even more wonderful, and I'm so glad I participated! The guide Yamachan was amazing!!

サンセット＆星空は外せないプランでした。
主人は初めてのハワイ旅行。ハワイでしか味合わないオプショナルツアーを探していました。
広い空に満点の星空！感動は言葉にできないくらいのものでした(≧▽≦)一緒にツアーに参加した方々も、とっても気持ちのいい方ばかりで更に気分が盛り上がりました。
ツアーに含まれるお弁当は途中のスーパーで自分が好きなものを選べたり、椅子やひざ掛けや温かいお茶が用意されていて、みんなでお茶で乾杯！は最高です！！
星空のロケーションも最高でしたが、それよりもガイドさんのおかげで更に楽しいものとなった気がします。ガイドさんはとても気さくな方で、細かい気配りや「ゆっくり登りましょう」との言葉に山頂でも体調に不安を感じませんでした。星を見ました帰りましょうではなく、要所要所で色々な楽しみ方を教えられた気がします。また、経験話などをしてくれて楽しい時間でした。行きの車内では色々な観光スポットの話をしてくれ、帰りの車内では余韻に浸れるよう音楽の選曲をしてくれたり、疲れた体を休めるよう言葉少なめにしてくれたところが私にとってはとってもありがたく、星空の感動と温まった体を休められる時間となりました。
大切な人との時間をさらに素晴らしい時間としていただき、本当に参加してよかったです！山ちゃんのガイド最高です！！(*^-^*)

I was with two older American couples. It rained until the evening, which shortened our stay at one location, and the colors of the sea and sky weren't great. However, on the positive side, there was no traffic congestion on the way, the waterfall had a lot of water and was impressive. Additionally, the waves crashing against the rocks at Black Sand Beach were spectacular due to the rough sea. However, since the road is right next to a cliff, it can be dangerous in some situations. Also, during the long mountain road, one of the grandmothers got car sick, so those who are sensitive to motion should be cautious. Our guide, Gayle Shufeldt, provided excellent service, taking photos and giving us candy, in addition to her detailed explanations. It seemed to end sooner than expected, but I thought it was not bad at all.

アメリカ人の年配の夫婦2組と一緒でした。夕方まで雨が降っていたので、1か所の滞在時間が短くなり、海や空の色はいまひとつでしたが、逆に、往きは交通渋滞がなかった、滝の水量が多く、見ごたえがあった、など、いいところもありました。また、海が荒れていたために、Black Sand Beachで岩石にぶつかる水しぶきが圧巻でした。ただし、道路が崖に即しているので、場合によっては、危険なこともあるようです。また、長時間の山道で、おばあさんが車酔いしたので、車に弱い人は注意が必要です。ガイドのGayle Shufeldtさんは、詳しい説明以外にも、とてもがんばって、写真をとってくれたり、飴をくれたり、サービスがよかったです。予想以上に早く終わったようですが、悪くないと思いました。

There were only Japanese people, and when I had breakfast with them, a white person made a really unpleasant face at me (maybe they didn't want to eat with me), which made me feel very uncomfortable. I wonder if I should have skipped breakfast... I don't want to participate anymore.

日本人が私たちしかおらず、一緒に朝食を取ったとき白人の人にすごく嫌な顔をされてしまい（一緒にたべたくなかったのか）とっても嫌な気分でした。朝食はいらなかったかな・・・。もう参加したくないです。

It was a wonderful starry sky as it coincided with the new moon. I was grateful for the chairs, blankets, and warm tea that were provided. The guide, Yama-chan, spoke passionately, and it brought tears to my eyes.

新月に合わせて　参加したので、素晴らしい星空でした。椅子、ひざ掛け、温かいお茶が用意されて有難かったです。ガイドの山ちゃんのお話も熱がこもっていて、うるっとしました。

Well organised trip to Haleakala. Good drivers with their commentary. Would have liked a little more information about the volcano and the island, nothing that Google can't answer though, so that's alright. The dinner was ok.

Susan was awesome and very informative. Lunch was great. Mike was a great pilot with the helicopter. When he was explaining areas he would say our names to make it more personable. I would do this again. Very happy Temptation tours and Blue Hawaiian helicopter tours. You get a ten.

We participated as a couple. There were about 20 people, and everyone else was a foreigner. The guide was English-speaking and provided a fun and polite tour with humor. Our listening skills were low, and there were many things we couldn't understand, but it wasn't a big problem. The sunrise was beautiful, and we were moved by it.

夫婦で参加しました。20人ほどで他は全員外国人でした。ガイドさんは英語で、ユーモアを交えて楽しく丁寧にガイドしてくれていました。こちらのリスニング力が低く、理解できないことも多かったですが、大きな問題はありませんでした。サンライズは綺麗に拝めて感動しました。

This was an amazing adventure to take! The only thing I would want to change and suggest is to bring a cushion. The seats on the bus were extremely uncomfortable. Also, I wished we would have stopped at more waterfalls, seemed to rush through them pretty quickly, but I figured they have a set schedule and placement with all the other tours. It might be better to be different and step out of the norm of all the other charters? Anyway, I did enjoy the driver Larry, he was so knowledgeable and sometimes funny!

We didn't get to see the sunrise due to the weather, but our bus driver was informative and kept us warm with hot coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea. It was still worth going! The breakfast was fantastic!

our guide was very informative of the plants & trees which made it a treat as he picked fresh guava which we all ate, delicious! The trail was a little muddy as it had rained the night before, no big deal. The waterfalls were beautiful, but the water was murky because of the rain the night before. So, we didn't swim in the pools, but the guide more than made up for it due to his knowledge an histories of the area. Very much enjoyed the tour!

I participated in November 2015. Although the weather was good, at the moment of sunrise, clouds covered the sun, so I couldn't see the best view. However, the scenery from the summit was very magical and made for a great memory. Since you wait outside for over an hour for the sunrise, you need winter clothing similar to what you would wear in Japan's mid-winter.

2015年11月に参加、天気は良かったものの、日の出の瞬間、太陽に雲がかかっており最高の景色は見れませんでしたが、山頂からの眺めは非常に幻想的でよい記念になりました。外で1時間以上日の出を待ちますので、日本の真冬と同じ防寒ｸﾞｯｽﾞが必要です。

The sunset, the stars, and the guide were all wonderful. I've participated in various tours during my travels, but this was the best one. The night sky was amazing, and I was particularly moved by the shooting stars and the largest and most magnificent Scorpius I've ever seen. There were explanations about constellations and planets, which were educational, and above all, the guide's attentiveness made me feel very secure, creating a warm atmosphere for the tour. I also climbed Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii last year. While I understand there may be weather conditions to consider, I was more satisfied and moved by this experience in many ways. I highly recommend it.

サンセット、星、ガイドさん、すべてが素晴らしかったです。今まで旅行ではいろいろ参加してますが一番良いツアーでした。星空は素晴らしく、個人的には流れ星と、今まで見た中で一番立派で大きなさそり座に感動しました。星座や惑星、色々な説明があり勉強にもなりましたし、何よりガイドさんの気配りでとても安心でき、温かいツアーだと感じました。ハワイ島のマウナケアにも昨年登りました。気象条件などもあるかとは思いますがこちらの方が色々な面で満足し感動しました。おすすめします。

Despite getting up a dark o'clock, this trip is worth doing. The sunrise is spectacular and the pictures you get are just wonderful. The guide was excellent and cheerful from the start at 2 am! Breakfast is good too and you are awake for it. Recommend you do this one when you visit Maui.

Wayne, our tour guide during the road to Hana was very informative, kind, and funny. We were amazed at the amount of knowledge he shared about EVERYTHING Hawaii.
I wish I remembered our helicopter pilots name... he was very nice, entertaining, informative, and most importantly, confident. It was our first time riding in a helicopter... we were nervous... but he put our minds at ease with his calm demeanor and information he shared about the island.
Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!!! We want to do this again!

The weather was pretty bad and it meant we didn't get to swim in the pools or take the backside road back from Hana however, our driver Wayne was superb and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.

My wife and I were kept entertained by his stories and information about the local cultures, plants, animals and food for the entire journey and despite it raining heavily and being very foggy, we always felt safe and in good hands.

The only downside was the lunch at the Trevasa hotel, it was very poor quality and despite being a buffet, you were ushered out after a single plate. I would recommend you select the non lunch option and take your own food!

Our guide George is a very cool and easygoing guy. He Made sure that we were having an awesome day and made us feel safe at all times.

I wanted to visit Haleakalā and Iao Valley, so I decided on this tour after comparing the cost-performance with other companies. One reason I chose this tour is that, unlike many tours where you view Iao Valley from the bus without getting off, this one allows you to get out and see it up close.

The driver was full of humor and provided clear explanations, and I was satisfied with the tour overall. However, I would like to mention three points for your reference:

1. At the summit of Haleakalā, the time was limited to 30 minutes, and the round trip from the parking lot to the rocky area was quite rushed, leaving no time to soak in the spiritual atmosphere.
2. The view of the waterfall flowing from the mountain in photos of Iao Valley was different from what I experienced. It seems to depend on the season, but at the end of August, I couldn't see the waterfall. However, it was pleasant to walk through the valley with flowing clear water and the refreshing negative ions.
3. The Italian restaurant where we had lunch was really delicious! Additionally, the surrounding shops were fun to explore for local clothing and accessories. There are also a grocery store and a popular local bakery, so I recommend finishing lunch early to allow time for shopping.

ハレアカラ、イアオ渓谷は行ってみたいポイントだったので、他社とコスパ比較した上で当ツアーに決めました。イアオ渓谷は、バスから降りずに車窓越しに見るツアーが多い中で、こちらは降りて見る事が出来るのも選んだもう一つの理由です。
ドライバーもユーモアたっぷりでわかりやすく説明してくれましたし、ツアー自体は満足していますが、3点ほどご紹介したい点があったので参照ください。
1.ハレアカラ頂上付近では30分と限られた時間で、駐車場から岩場を登り頂上までの往復はかなり慌ただしくスピリチャアルな余韻に浸る間もありませんでした。
2.イアオ渓谷は、写真で見る山から滝が流れている光景とは異なりました。時期によるそうですが、8末時期は滝は見れませんでした。流れる清水を見れるし、マイナスイオン漂う渓谷中を散歩するのは心地よかったです。
3.ランチを頂いたイタリアンレストランはすごく美味しかったです！加え周りのショップはローカルの洋服、アクセサリー等見るのに楽しかったです。グロッサリーストアや地元て人気のベーカリーショップがあるので早めにランチを切り上げ、お買い物時間にあてるのをおすすめします。

"I don't want to just show you the stars and say, 'Isn't it beautiful? Now, let's move on,' like a conveyor belt."
These were the impressive words from our guide. While gazing at the truly star-filled sky, the guide's storytelling (which you'll have to enjoy for yourself) made me forget the cold at the summit and brought a lump to my throat. I believe this experience is definitely more than just an optional tour... Highly recommended!

「ただ星を見せてキレイでしょ？さ、移動しましょ、と流れ作業のように皆さんをお連れしたくないんです」
ガイドしていただいた方の印象的な言葉です。他、満天（本当に満天です）の星空を見ながらのガイドさんの語り（内容はお楽しみ）に山頂の寒さなど忘れて目頭があつくなる感じでした。きっと単なるオプショナルツアー以上の体験ができるかと思います・・オススメ！

When I went to Maui, I definitely wanted to see the sunrise at Haleakalā, so I joined this tour! And I got to see the most amazing sunrise!! The tour was a simple one with transportation and breakfast included, but I enjoyed it enough. Just be aware that it doesn't include any warm clothing, so please prepare that yourself. Also, everyone except us was foreign.

マウイ島に行ったら、絶対にハレアカラの朝日を観たいと思ってこのツアーに参加しました！
そして、最高の朝日が拝めました！！
ツアーとしては、送迎と朝ご飯付きの簡単なツアーでしたが充分楽しめました。防寒具とかも何もついてないので
ご自身で用意して下さい。あと私達以外は全員、外人でした
