The wind was strong, so we didn't go to Molokini Island and instead did snorkeling at two other spots. There were few fish, and we did see some sea turtles, but there were too many people, which made it a bit disappointing.

風が強く、モロキニ島には行かず、二ヶ所でのシュノーケリングでした。魚も少なく、多少はウミガメに会えましたが、人が多すぎて、なんだかな感じでした。

We toured with Kane who was knowledgeable and attentive. Felt safe driving up, and he made sure the group stayed together. Only thing is, since they feed us pastries when we first get to the lounge. I didn't really feel up to breakfast because it was a long morning and wanted to go back to the resort and rest. The experience alone was amazing, far more than I expected. I recommend booking this trip.

Especially the Japanese female staff member kindly and patiently taught me snorkeling in a way that was easy to understand, despite my fear of the depth where my feet couldn't touch the bottom. Thanks to her, I was able to see the clear ocean, cute fish, and even a sea turtle, which was truly moving. I had a great time and am very grateful. Thank you very much.

特に日本人の女性スタッフさん、足がつかない深さに恐怖感があった私に、親切、ていねい、わかりやすくシュノーケリングを教えて下さいました。おかげで、透明度の高い海、かわいい魚、ウミガメも見つけることができ、感動です。とても楽しかったです。そして、大変感謝しております。ありがとうございました。

The crew were outstanding!! Jason, the captain of the boat was very interactive with the kids regarding the operation of the boat. Jason and Lindsey were very good with the number of people and keeping the bar operating at a very good pace. I would suppose my only issue is that there aren’t any real tables to sit and eat. You need to find a place to enjoy the food, which by the way is very good. Overall, was worth the cost and would take this trip again. Thank you “Pride of Maui”

I could see Molokini Island from the airplane and from Wailea. When I got closer, I was surprised at how much larger it was than I imagined! Until then, the rocking on the boat and the waves while snorkeling made me feel a bit nauseous... The ocean was beautiful, but I couldn't fully enjoy it... On other overseas tours, they had motion sickness medication available on the boat or before boarding, but this tour didn't have any... I should have prepared my own.

From our pick up to drop off, we were taken care of so well.
Crew fantastic, captain Trent helpful and also funny.
Great food and drinks , you don’t need towels nor drinks or food. They serve breakfast as soon as you board.

My first time on Lanai Island, and it's truly a relaxing and quiet place, unlike other islands. The people are kind, and the Garden of the Gods was nice, but the planned visits to Hulopoe Bay and the ancient petroglyphs didn’t happen. The weather was a bit cloudy that day, which was a bit disappointing.

初めてのラナイ島、他島と違ってホントのんびり静かな良いところです。人も優しいし、神々の庭園も良かったのですが、プランにあるフルポエ湾や古代ペトログリフ見学はなかったです。当日は天気も曇りがちで少しがっかりというところでしょうか。

Despite it being my first snorkeling experience, I was able to see several sea turtles, which made me very satisfied! I felt inspired to try snorkeling in various oceans in the future. The guide, Kana, was very kind and attentive, making it easy for me to enjoy the experience even as a beginner. The casual conversations about Maui in Japanese were also very comforting! However, the motion sickness medication I bought at a supermarket in Maui didn't work very well, so if you're prone to seasickness, it might be better to bring stronger medication like Aneron from Japan.

初シュノーケリングにも関わらず念願のウミガメを何匹も見ることができ大満足です！
今後も色んな海でシュノーケリングしてみたいな〜と思えました。
ガイドのkanaさんが懇切丁寧に対応してくださるので、初めてでも安心して楽しめました。
マウイの雑談も日本語でばりばりにしてくださり、心安らぎます！
ただ、マウイのスーパーで買った船酔い(motion sickness)の薬があまり効かなかったので、船酔いに弱い方は日本でアネロン等強めのお薬を持っていった方がよいかもしれません。

It was my first time in Hawaii and my first time snorkeling, and I had a lot of fun. The Japanese staff were very kind and attentive, which eased my initial anxiety, and I was able to participate in the tour with peace of mind. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the spot where we could see sea turtles due to bad weather, but I was still very satisfied with just one location.

初めてのハワイ、初めてのシュノーケリングでしたがとても楽しく満喫できました。日本人スタッフの方がとても優しく、気配りのできる方で、最初は不安でしたが、すぐに安心してツアーに参加できました。私のときはウミガメの見えるポイントは天候不良で行けませんでしたが、一ヶ所だけでも十分満足できました。

Too “tour bus” in style ( but it was Chevy). Tour went 2.5 hours with no food, water, or bathroom stop - family was not happy.

Tour and Island was ok, but it needs a mid point stop and event. Like swim in the ocean, or hike to some place, or zip line across a ravine, etc.

Needs more “ do it”, less sit.

There was good coordination between the ferry boat ride timing and that of the tour. The tour guide, Garrett, is what made the tour great. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and very efficient in conducting the tour. He grew up on the island, knew its history personally--and this made all the difference in allowing for a great tour.

The Molokini Island tour was amazing. The water clarity was outstanding. And the detailed attention from our Japanese guide, Takako, was wonderful. Above all, her kind and cheerful demeanor made the experience very enjoyable. I would love to do it again. Thank you!

The driver was an older gentleman who explained things slowly in English since we were not very good at it. It felt like we were in Arizona, surrounded by wilderness, rich in nature and soothing to the heart. Spending a day slowly in nature was wonderful, and I definitely want to go back. I promised Ken that we would meet again and returned to Maui.

Thanks to the attentive service and safety management of the Japanese staff, my elderly mother was able to enjoy herself with peace of mind. They were truly hardworking and sincere, wonderful Japanese staff. Thank you very much.

I visited Lanai Island for the first time, which I had always admired from afar! The one-day tour was a private experience just for the two of us! Our kind driver, who spoke slowly and gently explained things to us despite our limited English, really impressed us! The island is surrounded by wilderness, giving it an undeveloped feel that reminded me of a Western movie!

何時も眺めて居たラナイ島に初めて渡りました！1日ツアーは2人だけの貸切！
優しいドライバーさんで余り英語が話せ無い我々にゆっくりと優しく説明してくれ感激しました！島は荒野に囲まれて未開発感が溢れて西部劇を思い起こしていました！

On spur of the moment my wife and I decided to take the ferry to Lanai then rent a Jeep to go exploring. The cost was reasonable and it was a spectacular day. We caught the 6:45 morning ferry. The Jeep was waiting for us in the parking lot. We headed out not really sure what to expect. We ran into Mikee as we were driving up the hill towards Lahaina City. Mikee is the guy we rented the Jeep from He gave us some tips on what to expect and where we should go. His suggestions were bang on. We had a leisurely day exploring the island; so many amazing sights that will take your breath away! We planned to take the 6:45 return ferry that day. It gave us some leisure time after we were done exploring. The return on the ferry was a bit rough but the boat handles it easily.

We have been on other dinner cruises but this one was by far the best. I was very sceptical about doing another dinner cruise but friends we came with wanted to. The las one we went on was very hot and impersonal. This one was very different. We picked it because it was a sail and it was a smalll group and it was wonderful. The food, the crew and everything about it was great. It wasn’t hot even though we were sun side on the sail out. There was a breeze and we were able to move about the boat. The food was really good. Captain Emily was funny and experienced and we chatted with the other small group of guests. We had a good time and I would do it again.

Overall the trip was what was expected however I feel like there should be more time allowed to snorkel. You arrive to the dock and get on the boat. They have a small muffin style breakfast available. - The drive to the spot is about an hour, you get maybe an hour to snorkel and eat, then you head back which is about an hour. I wish we would have more time to snorkel and relax. It feels very rushed, rightfully so maybe, but for the money you figured you would have a little more time to just be and relax. The lunch is nice and plentiful. The equipment is fine enough and they give you options to purchase a top half wet suit, for cash only so bring some if you want to do that. You can also rent camera's if you would like. There was someone there who took professional style pictures so that was a nice bonus. Of course they cost but not as much as I figured. - The crew knows their information and is fun with their jokes and fun on the boat. The glass bottom is only open when you stop to snorkel and between snorkeling and eating I forgot to look and when I remembered we were leaving and it was closed. You have only a small amount of space to snorkel at once you're at the crater. It's very packed full of people and other boats so it's not really a relaxed snorkel. It feels crowded and time is limited. For our first experience it was a good time but we just which we had more time. This excursion doesn't go to the turtle part either. We picked it for the glass bottom over the turtle snorkeling and we wish we wouldn't have done that.

The weather was great, perfect for snorkeling. Kanako, the Japanese staff member, started with a thorough boarding announcement during the reception meeting and also informed us about the best seating positions on the boat, allowing us to have a comfortable experience. Throughout the boat ride, all announcements were in English, but she provided explanations in Japanese and took care of participants who felt seasick, showing exceptional attention to detail. I was able to enjoy the tour with peace of mind. Although I didn't see as many fish while snorkeling as I had hoped, I would like to join this tour again when I come back to Maui. Thank you very much.

お天気もよく絶好のシュノーケル日和でした。日本人スタッフのかなさん、受付のミーティングで、丁寧な搭乗の案内から始まり、船での座席のベストポジションも教えて頂き快適に過ごすことができました。また船中は全て英語の案内の中、日本語で説明してくれたり、途中船酔いした参加者をケアしてくれたり至れり尽くせり、とても細やかな気配りで助かりました。安心してツアーを楽しむことができました。思ったより、シュノーケルで魚は見ることが出来ませんでしたが、またマウイに来た際にはこのツアーに参加したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

I participated in a snorkeling tour to Molokini Island. I requested a pickup, but a taxi came, and the driver didn't get out, so I didn't realize it was the pickup for the group tour, which caused a few minutes of delay. Fortunately, the hotel bellman was considerate and helped me get on the ride. The tour registration was in English only, but there was a Japanese staff member on board who kindly explained everything. We arrived at Molokini Island in an hour. The weather was nice, and the sea was beautiful, but there were fewer fish than I expected, so it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. The one-hour snorkeling felt a bit long, and we got out early. I heard from the staff that the water temperature was somewhat low, so renting a wetsuit (just the top) for $10 was a good decision. Without it, I think we would have been very cold. We had lunch while moving to the next spot, Wailea Point. The visibility here is not as good as Molokini Island, but it's a spot where you can see turtles. At the place the staff pointed out, we were able to see three turtles up close, which was quite fun. Overall, I think it was worth going, but it might be better not to expect too much in terms of swimming with cute fish. Also, the boat does rock quite a bit. Since you can't land on the island, you are either in the water or on the boat, so it's best to take motion sickness medication as early as possible.

モロキニ島シュノーケルツアーに参加しました。送迎を頼んだのですが、迎えにきたのがタクシーで、運転手さんも降りてこなかったし、まさかそれがグループツアーの迎えとは思わず、数分ロス。ホテルのベルマンが気を利かせてくれたので、無事に乗車できました。ツアーの受付は英語のみでしたが、乗船スタッフに日本の方がいらして、丁寧に説明して下さいました。1時間でモロキニ島に到着。お天気はよく、海も綺麗でしたが、思ったよりも魚が少なく、わー！という感じにはなりませんでした。1時間のシュノーケルはちょっと長く感じ、我々は早めに上がりました。スタッフの方に水温はそこそこ低いと聞いたので、10ドル出して借りたウエットスーツ(上着のみ)は正解でした。それが無ければ我々は寒くて仕方無かったと思います。昼食を食べながら移動し、次はワイレアポイント。こちらは透明度はモロキニ島に劣りますが、亀が見られるポイントで、スタッフの方が教えてくれたところで、三匹の亀を近くで見ることができました。これは結構楽しかったです。総じて行く価値はあったかと思いますが、あまり可愛い魚と泳げる！と期待し過ぎない方が良いかもしれません。また、結構船は揺れます。島には上陸できないので、海の中にいるか、船に居るかなので、酔い止め薬は出来るだけ事前に飲んだ方が良いと思います。

Unfortunately, we couldn't go snorkeling at Molokini this year due to the strong winds, but thanks to our attentive guide (a Japanese woman named Takako), we had a wonderful time. Her kindness was not pushy, and her quick and detailed movements were a pleasure to watch! Just seeing her in action made the boat trip worthwhile.

The space on the boat, even just enjoying burgers and spending time there, felt blissful. I think we will be relying on your services again next year. Thank you very much!

On the morning of the day, it was unfortunate that we couldn't go to Molokini Island due to strong winds. However, at one of the two snorkeling spots, I was able to swim with sea turtles, which was very satisfying. The hamburger for lunch after the first snorkeling session was one of the best I've ever had, perhaps because I was tired after coming out of the sea. Additionally, after the second snorkeling session, there was an all-you-can-drink service for beer and Mai Tais, which was also fantastic. It became a wonderful memory of Maui. Thank you very much!

当日の朝、風が強いとのことでモロキニ島には行けなかったのが残念でした。ただ、2か所でシュノーケリングしたうちの1か所では、ウミガメと泳ぐこともでき、とても満足できるものでした。1本目のスノーケリング後のランチのハンバーガーは、疲れて海から上がった後だったからか、これまで食べたなかでも最高ランクの美味しさでした。また、2本目のスノーケリングの後には、飲み放題のビール、マイタイ等のサービスもあり、これも最高でした。とても良いマウイでの思い出になりました。どうもありがとうございました！

During my solo trip to Maui, I participated in a snorkeling tour to Molokini Island. A taxi arranged by the tour picked me up from my condominium. When I arrived at the meeting point, a Japanese guide welcomed me. There are people working here as Japanese guides, as well as those handling tour operations and assisting Japanese guests. The guide dedicated to Japanese tourists was with us almost the entire time during the tour. On the day I participated, both guides were present, and since there were only five of us Japanese guests (two couples and myself), the guide was always nearby, providing tips on the best seating positions on the boat and the timing for meals (if we didn't go right away, we would have to wait in line and wouldn't be able to relax). However, I was lucky because this guide only works twice a week.

There were two snorkeling spots: Molokini Island and Wailea (I'm a bit fuzzy on this one...). At Molokini, we enjoyed the clarity of the water, and at Wailea, we enjoyed the fish. We even encountered sea turtles at Wailea! I got so caught up swimming with them that I drifted too far from the boat, making it difficult to return. I hope others will be careful and enjoy themselves (laughs).

Since Japanese is not spoken in Maui, having a Japanese guide was very significant and reassuring. I was filled with anxiety as it was my first solo trip and my first time in Maui, but when I shared my concerns, the guide told me to contact them if I needed anything after the tour, which made me feel very supported during my stay. I am very grateful to this guide.

The scenery, the beauty of the ocean, and the atmosphere of the staff were all wonderful, so I definitely want to participate again when I visit Maui next time.

ひとり旅でマウイを訪れた際にモロキニ島シュノーケルツアーに参加しました。
コンドミニアムまでの送迎はツアーで手配されたタクシーがピックアップしに来てくれました。
集合場所に着くと、日本語ガイドさんが迎えてくれました。
こちらには日本語ガイドとして働いている方と、ツアー運営（ツアー中の諸々の作業）と日本人対応をする方がいるそうです。
日本語ガイドとしての方は、ツアー中はほぼ日本人観光客につきっきりで対応してくれます。
私が参加した日は両名ともいらして、なおかつ日本人はご夫婦二組と私の5人しかいなかったので、ガイドさんは常に近くにいてくれて、船の席のベストポジションや食事のタイミング（すぐ行かないと並んでしまってゆっくりできないので）など色々教えてくださいました。
ただし、このガイドさんは週2回の勤務なのだそうで、ラッキーでした。
シュノーケルスポットは二箇所。モロキニ島とワイレア（ちょっとうろ覚え…）。
モロキニ島は透明度を楽しみ、ワイレアでは魚を楽しむという感じ。
そしてワイレアではウミガメにも会えました！
夢中になって一緒に泳いでいたら船から離れすぎてしまったので、戻るのが大変でした。。
そこは気をつけて楽しんでいただきたいです（笑）
マウイ島だと日本語が通じないので、日本語ガイドさんの存在はとても大きく、安心できます。
私は初めてのひとり旅、初めてのマウイ島で不安いっぱいだったのですが、それをお話しするとツアー後も何かあれば連絡して〜と仰ってくださり、とても心強く滞在することができました。
このガイドさんには感謝でいっぱいです☆

景色も海の美しさもスタッフさんの雰囲気も、全て素晴らしかったので、またマウイに行った際には是非参加したいと思っています。

Unfortunately the day we went it was raining, very cloudy and very windy at the top so no sunrise. It is the risk you take when you book the trip. The guides were good to hang around hoping for some sun to come out. The breakfast was pretty good but could have been a little better organized. Overall, an ok day but nothing you can do about the weather. The company was nice to offer pants and jackets to everyone so it kept our clothes dry and us warm at the top, a nice feature I didn't realize we were getting.

My first experience with snorkeling was thrilling, and it became an unforgettable, amazing memory!

We had a full hour at two locations: Molokini Island and a spot where we could encounter sea turtles, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful ocean with its different expressions.

The meals, including breakfast, lunch, and the final bar time, were also satisfying! The lunch burger and Maui beer were especially delicious!

Our Japanese guide, KANA, was very kind and accompanied us into the water, which made me feel secure throughout the experience.

If I ever go to Maui again, I would love to participate once more!

シュノーケリングは初体験で、ドキドキしながら参加しましたが
忘れられない、最高の思い出になりました！

シュノーケリングは、モロキニ島と、ウミガメに出会えるスポットの２か所でたっぷり１時間ずつの時間があり、それぞれ違った表情の綺麗な海を堪能できました♪　

朝食、昼食、最後のバータイムの食事も充実！
特にランチのハンバーガーと、マウイビールは美味！

日本人ガイドのKANAさんがとても親切にご案内してくれて
一緒に海にも入ってくださるので、終始安心して参加出来ました。

またマウイに行くことがあったら、もう1度参加したいです!!

I participated with my wife and our two elementary school children. We visited two snorkeling spots with abundant coral and high visibility, where we saw many tropical fish and even sea turtles. The kids were very excited, and I think it became a memorable part of our trip.

The Japanese staff kindly taught us the procedures and how to use the equipment, and they also recommended spots in the water and informed us when we spotted sea turtles, allowing us to have a safe and fulfilling time.

The hamburgers we ate on the boat, along with the beer, cookies, and coffee during our return trip after snorkeling, were all fantastic and highly recommended under the refreshing blue sky of Maui!

It was unfortunate that we couldn't go to Molokini Island due to strong winds, but as mentioned, we saw plenty of fish and sea turtles, which adds to the excitement for next time.

家内と小学生の子供二人を連れて参加しました。
珊瑚が多く透明度の高いシュノーケリングポイントを２つ回ってくれて、そのどちらでも沢山の熱帯魚、そしてウミガメにも会えました。
子どもたちも大興奮で旅の想い出に出来たのではないかと振り返っています。
日本人スタッフさんが親切に手順や道具の使い方を教えてくれて、更に海の中でもオススメのスポットや海ガメ発見時に場所を教えてくれたりで、安心かつ充実した時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

船の上で食べるハンバーガーや、シュノーケリング後の帰港中のビールにクッキー＆コーヒー。爽やかなマウイの青空の下でその全てが最高でオススメです！

風が強くてモロキニ島へは船が出せなかったのは残念なのですが、上述の通り沢山お魚にもウミガメにも会えましたし、次回へのお楽しみ。ということで。

I participated in this tour last year, and it was so wonderful that I invited my sister to join me again. Even though it's already mid-April, we were met with unexpected cloudy weather... Unfortunately, on the day of the tour, the heavy clouds lingered. I was worried about how it would turn out, but the underwater scenery was incredibly beautiful, enough to blow away the gray skies! I was able to swim leisurely with the sea turtles, creating great memories.

I want to thank Kana from the crew for all her help. It was really fun to hear various stories during our travels. Thank you very much!

The "fresh broccoli" that was served as a salad will definitely be something I try at home too (laughs).

Oh, be careful with the environmentally friendly sunscreen provided; it can be a bit too much. It turns you very white. Those with shaved heads ended up looking like a character from "Skikeiyo." As for me... I ended up looking like a foolish lord!

去年このツアーに参加し、忘れられないくらい素敵だったので、姉を誘って再び参加。
四月も半ば過ぎなのに、まさかの曇天続き・・・願い虚しくツアー当日もずっしりと重い雲。
どうなることかと思いましたが、海の中は抜群に綺麗で曇り空を吹き飛ばすほど美しかったです！ホヌさんとものんびり一緒に泳げて、いい思い出になりました。
クルーのカナさんには何から何までお世話になりました。いろんなお話が聞けて、移動中もとても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。

あ、備え付けの環境に優しいポンプの日焼け止めは、取りすぎ注意です。
めっちゃ真っ白になります。
