Martin was a great instructor! Windsurfing was physically challenging but in a fun accessible way! Perfect spot to learn (shallow water, minimal waves, just enough wind). We definitely want to try windsurfing again!

Second only to the polynesion cultural center.A very tight and clean performance, easy to enjoy.

I went on the afternoon excursion. Haleakalā was not visible because of clouds that had come in, but the pilot had said there was good visibility that morning. Instead we spent more time getting wonderful close ups of magnificent waterfalls. The helicopter was beautiful and only 4 weeks old. Blue Hawaiian staff were great. The second half of the trip was the luxury van along the road to Hana, this van had only 6 passengers which made for a nice intimate trip. Our driver Kelly, was fantastic, knowing the road very well, as he has been driving it on excursions for over 20 years. We stopped places most do not get to see. I highly recommend this trip and it was one of the highlights on this trip.

I went on this ride several years ago and it was even better than I remembered. We got to see a sunken ship. We saw several different kinds of fish as well as a few sharks. We had a really good time. You can tell that the people who do this for a living really love their jobs! If you are going to Maui and do nothing else this is the one thing you ABSOLUTELY must take part in!

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. If you want a fun and beautiful excursion book this tour! We saw sea turtles, many tropical fish, and even a shark.

The show set against the sunset was simply wonderful. The hula, fire dance, and the food were all delicious and fantastic. The whole roasted pig was incredibly tasty!

I participated on the first day of my trip.
The show during the sunset was wonderfully beautiful.
Also, there were no other Japanese people around us, which made me feel like I was abroad and I really enjoyed it.
The host asked the couples celebrating their wedding anniversaries how many years they had been married, and there was a surprise where everyone celebrated together. I was particularly moved by the couple celebrating their 54th anniversary who shared a sweet kiss.
I definitely want to go when I get married!
As for the food... the bread was fluffy and delicious, but the other dishes had an American feel and weren't very tasty.

夕日が沈む中のショーが素晴らしく美しいショーでした。
また、周りに私達以外に一人も日本人が居なく海外に来た感があり楽しめました☆
司会の方が結婚記念日の方に何年目か聞いて行き皆で祝福するとゆうサプライズがあり、中でも５４周年の夫婦が可愛くキスしてたのに感動しました♡♡♡
私も結婚した時にはぜひ行きたいと思いました♡
料理は。。。パンはフワフワで美味しかったけど、他はアメリカンな感じで美味しくなかったです。

I have mixed feelings with the Kupanaha Magic Show. The show itself was very entertaining and produced with great care and quality. The magician and actors were clearly deeply engaged, skilled, and experienced.

On the other hand, the dinner was less than desirable for many reasons. The food and selection of drinks were not good at all and the service was poor. My wife did not get her dinner until everyone else was having dessert already, and the chicken/shrimp was not cooked properly, causing her to get sick the next morning.

All in all, I recommend the show itself but hope the food issue gets fixed.

It was a garden party filled with a variety of events held around sunset. The venue was a top-notch scenic spot where we could enjoy various shows and a buffet meal while watching the sunset over the sea. Additionally, the performers seemed to be a lineup of stunningly handsome men and beautiful women. Most participants were from the mainland United States, and since the event was conducted entirely in English, my grandmother, who doesn't understand much English, might have been a bit confused.

日没をはさんで催されるイベント盛り沢山のガーデンパーティーでした。会場は一級の景勝地で海の彼方に沈みゆく夕日を眺めながら様々なショーとバッフェ形式の食事を楽しめました。また、ショーの出演者たちは、見とれるようなイケメンと美女ぞろいだったように感じました。参加者はアメリカ本土からが中心で、司会進行は英語のみなので英語があまりわからない祖母は少し困惑気味だったかもしれません。

We really enjoyed the sunset sail! It was beautiful and the staff was great!

It was an absolutely fantastic show, more then I expected. The whole family, even the finicky teenager enjoyed the show. The history of the islands then dancers and the fire entertainers were top notch. The whole experience from the staff and the entertainers were the best.

Excellent. Our instructor was named Rafael. He was patient and kind. Took time with our 12 and 10 years old. Also talked a lot about the environment as well as sea life

Our favorite night in Maui. Very, very entertaining. Talented, fun performers who were even accessible after the show.

This was an awesome snorkel cruise. We have visited Maui many times and have been on many snorkel cruises. I think this is the best one we have ever been on. At the first snorkel location on Lanai we saw the most beautiful coral formations. On the way back we were entertained by a large pod of spinner dolphins. Then at the second location we were privileged to see turtles, and many large and small tropical fish.
The food on the boat was much better than we have experienced in the past. The crew was very helpful to both the experienced snorkler as well as to the brand new beginners. My wife and I had a great experience and would highly recommend this Maui to Lanai snorkel cruise to anyone, families, couples or individuals.

Great food, nice facility. A little too much waiting in line and then sitting around once inside. Good show.

I came on this trip with 6 girls and this was the 1st activity of our daily plans. I so happy that my travel agent recommended this tour. We did review the website for other similar activities close to our hotel, but this worked out perfect. The tour offered us a great BBQ Lunch with drinks. We even got a little continental breakfast. The crew made sure we knew about the safety on board and even tho the seas got ruff and passengers got sick they made sure to check on those passengers and made sure they were ok and at the same time make the other guest have a great time. I love that they teach you how to snorkel too. I would highly recommend this activity and company.

I was very excited to take this activity with my friends but the sea did not agree with me...I got really sea sick but I would not blame the activity...I should have known my body and taken a sea sick pill...what I really want to rave about this activity is the staff...I was so sea sick and they made me feel comfortable and kept checking in on me and my friends..I wish I felt better because they also served food and drinks that my friends really enjoyed. The staff was so educated with safety and making everyone feel that too. They were really nice and friendly and even told us jokes to that even as sick as I was I could laugh. I definitely will take do this activity the next time I visit Hawaii and I will make sure to take a motion sickness pill.

We had a great time on this activity. The staff was very nice and helpful...they made us feel comfortable....they even told us jokes to make us even feel more confortable...very welcoming...Hawaii people are so nice...the food was great...the beverage were also good...the staff taught us how to snorkel....the staff was very educated on their job...my friends got sea sick and the staff really helped them thru the sail...they kept checking in on them to make sure they were still doing good...the seas got ruff and we felt scared but the staff put us at ease..i would recommend this tour if you want a sailing type activity.

Our first luau. It was very entertaining and the wide variety of food was all great. Seating was a bit cramped, but we had a great time. Our teen kids had a blast.

We went with 4 kids, 2 grandmas and an aunt- hoping to see whales. What we had was a humorous and informative host, as well, amazing videos and pictures of a full 90 min whale adventure. The captain took us to a few spots, but we were lucky enough to see everything from tail splashing, diving under our boat, fin waving and blow hole splashing. We all had a great time!

On March 29, 2013, I went with my family of three (10-year-old boy). We were able to see quite a few spouts here and there and encountered more whales than we expected. Thanks to the captain searching for various spots, we were able to see them frequently, which was moving. Of course, we were also able to take pictures of tails and jumps. I brought my EOS Kiss X6i with a 135mm lens, but for more impactful photos, a 300mm lens might be better.

It was quite windy on the water, making it very cold, so a jacket is essential. The boat also swayed a lot, so preparation and readiness are necessary. However, my wife, who usually gets seasick, was able to enjoy the tour without any issues. We drove directly to the meeting point (Lahaina Dock) with a rental car. There is free street parking for up to three hours, but considering our plans to explore Lahaina afterward, we parked in a public lot ($16 for 2-6 hours). Since it was an early morning plan, both options were available, but it might be difficult to find parking nearby if you go later in the day.

結構あちらこちらで潮吹きが見られ、思ったより沢山のクジラに遭遇することができました。
キャプテンが色々とスポットを探してくれたせいか、ポンポン見れる感じで、感動しました。
もちろん、シッポやジャンプの写真もとることができました。
EOS-KissX6i+135mmのセットを持っていきましたが、迫力ある写真を撮ろうとすると300mmくらいあったほうが良いかもしれません。
海上は風があって、かなり寒いので、上着が必須なのと、かなり船が揺れるため、準備と覚悟が必要です。ただし、船に弱い妻も、船酔いすることなくツアーを楽しむことができました。
我が家はレンタカーで直接集合場所（ラハイナドック）に行きました。
３時間まで無料の路上Pもありますが、その後のラハイナ散策も考慮して公共Pに車を駐車しました。（2-6Hで$16）早朝プランだったので、どちらも空いていましたが、遅い時間だと近場に駐車スペースを見つけるのに苦労するかもしれません。

On March 30, 2013, I went with my family of three (10-year-old boy). The water clarity was somewhat low that day, and it felt like there were fewer tropical fish. However, we were able to encounter sea turtles. We were able to rent wet suits, so the 30-minute snorkeling was fine. On the way back, we enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere while sailing, and during the trips to and from the snorkeling spot, we also encountered whales together. They were quite close and impressive. Unfortunately, there was no Japanese-speaking crew, but it wasn't a problem at all.

この日は水の透明度がやや低く、熱帯魚も少ないような感じでした。
ただし、海亀には遭遇することができました。
ウエットスーツを借りることができたので、30分くらいのシュノーケンリングは大丈夫でした。
帰りはセーリングでのんびりした雰囲気も楽しむことができ、また、シュノーケリングスポットへの行き帰りにおいては、共にクジラに遭遇することができました。
かなり近くて迫力がありました。
残念ながら、日本語クルーは在籍していませんでしたが、特に問題はありませんでした。

I participated in a very affordable early morning plan. Shortly after departure, we spotted whales, and the excitement on the boat was incredible! As we continued, whales appeared here and there, and I didn't know where to look! I learned for the first time that whales travel in groups; I thought they only traveled as mothers and their calves. It was quite windy and cold on the boat, so a jacket is necessary. Still, taking pictures of the whales is quite challenging.

大変お得な早朝プランで参加しました。
出発して間もなくクジラの姿が見えてきて船上は大興奮！！
さらに走っていくと、あちらでもこちらでもクジラが現れ一体どこを見たらよいのか！！？？状態でした。
クジラってグループで行動しているんですね、親子だけかと思っていたのですが今回初めて知ることができました。
船上はけっこう風が強くて寒いですので上着は必要。
それにしても、クジラの写真を撮るのは難しいです（：：）

Since it's close to the hotel, we chose to depart from Ka'anapali Beach. I was wondering where to board since there wasn't a pier, but you actually get on the boat from the beach. It feels a bit like a fun attraction, which is enjoyable. I sat in a hammock seat, so it felt different from usual, and there were some people lounging around.

You might be able to see whales up close depending on luck, so it can vary each time, but I recommend it for those visiting during this season!

Also, please be cautious as there are places where you might get wet.

ホテルに近いことからカアナパリビーチ発にしました。
桟橋とかなくて、どこから乗るのかなぁって思ってたら
ビーチから船に乗るんです。ちょっとしたアトラクション気分で乗るので
楽しいっ。ハンモック席に座ったのでいつもと違う感じがして
寝そべっている方もいました。

またクジラは運次第で近くで見れるのでその時によって異なるか
と思われますが、この時期に行かれる方オススメです！

また場所によっては濡れることもあるので注意してください。

I've seen hula shows at shopping centers, but this was my first time seeing such an authentic hula performance, and I was truly moved!

During the show, when the lights dimmed as part of the performance, I looked up at the sky and saw a sky full of stars, which was also breathtaking!

The staff was friendly (perhaps a bit too friendly?!), and the food was delicious, which made me very satisfied. The lack of guidance or explanations in Japanese added to the exotic atmosphere, which I really appreciated.

本格的なフラのショーを見たのは初めてで感動しました！

ショーの途中、演出で照明が暗くなった時に空を見上げたら
満天の星が見えてそれもまた感動！！

スタッフもフレンドリーで（フレンドリー過ぎる感も？！）
食事も美味しく満足でした。下手に日本語で案内や説明が
なかったのも異国感たっぷりでよかったです。

I went whale watching from Lahaina on Maui with a Japanese guide named Gaito. At first, I thought we might only see them from a distance, but to my surprise, a mother and baby whale came very close, jumping and waving, and we even got to see the whale's tail up close. Saori from Gaito was very kind, which was great. We also received juice and snack vouchers. It was a very enjoyable two hours that flew by.

マウイ島のラハイナから日本語のガイトさんがのる便で鯨をみに行きました。最初は遠くからしか見えないのかな～と思いましたが、なんと、おやこ鯨が大接近、ジャンプに、手をふったり、鯨のシッポも間近でみれました。ガイトのさおりさんもとても親切でよかったです。ジュースとスナック券ももらいました、とても楽しいあっというまの２時間です。

Since it's my first time visiting Maui in winter, I definitely wanted to go whale watching, but I wasn't confident in my English, so I joined this tour where a Japanese staff member would be on board.

When I arrived at Lahaina Harbor, I was surprised by the crowd of people. It was a bit difficult to find the tour desk, but after checking in and sitting on a bench, Satomi, the staff member, approached us. Since we were the only Japanese people there, she stayed with us the whole time, sharing lots of information about whales, which felt like a great deal.

Of course, we saw plenty of whales; they were splashing their tails everywhere, and three of them swam right alongside the boat, which made for a very satisfying whale watching experience. The pizza place that Satomi recommended was also delicious.

初めて冬のマウイに行くので、ホエールウォッチングは絶対行きたいけれど英語に自信がないので、日本人スタッフが一緒に乗船してくれるこのツアーに参加しました。
ラハイナ港に着くと人人人で人の多さにびっくりです。
ツアーデスクを探すのに、少し見つけにくかったのですが、受付が終わってベンチに座っていると、すぐにスタッフのさとみさんが声をかけてくださり、ちょうど私たちだけが日本人ということで、ずっと付いてくださって、鯨の話をいろいろ聞けてお得感満載でした。
もちろん鯨もたくさん見れて、あちこちで鯨が尾びれをバシャバシャしてましたし、3頭が仲良く船のすぐ近くまで並走してくれたり大満足のホエールウォッチングでした。
さとみさんお勧めのピザ屋さんも美味しかったです。

The Whale Watching was fun. The only problem was that we could not hear what was being said over the speakers. Too noisey.

I participated in a whale watching tour in late January with my sixth-grade son. We traveled all the way to Maui to show him whales, which are hard to see in Japan, in person.

The boat was large enough to accommodate over 100 people, but there were only a few passengers that day, with four Japanese and a few foreigners on the first floor, allowing for a comfortable seating arrangement. A Japanese guide was also on board, providing detailed explanations.

Before boarding, I was filled with anxiety about whether we would actually see any whales, but shortly after setting sail, we spotted whale spouts in various directions. The captain steered the boat toward them, and we quickly arrived near the whales.

After that, we could see whales all around us without even having to search, and I was able to capture their trademark cute tails on camera. It seems that around February to early March, about 4,000 whales come close to Maui.

Of course, my son was also thrilled with the impressive whales. The two-hour boat ride passed by much quicker than I expected, and I didn’t even have time to feel seasick.

During the cruise, we received a ticket that could be exchanged for either two drinks or a drink and a dessert or snack. I think the cost performance is excellent.

I highly recommend whale watching in Maui during the winter!

一月下旬にホエールウォッチングに参加させていただきました。小6の息子との二人旅。日本では　なかなか見ることのできないクジラを生で見せてあげたくて　マウイ島まで渡りました。
100人以上乗れる大きな船でしたが、その日は乗客も少なめで一階には日本人が4人と外国人が数人で椅子もゆったり。船には　日本人のガイドの方も一緒に乗っていただいたので
詳しい説明も聞けました。
乗るまでは、本当にクジラが見えるかどうか不安がいっぱいでしたが、出航して間もなくクジラの潮が沖のあちこちに見えました。　船長さんが　その方向に舟を走らせます。
あっという間に　クジラの近くに到着。
そのあとは、探さなくても　四方八方にクジラが見えてトレードマークのかわいい尻尾も　ちゃんとカメラに収めることができました。
大体二月から三月の頭くらいは　約4000頭のクジラがマウイ島の近くにやってくるそうです。
もちろん息子も　迫力満点のクジラに大満足。
二時間の船は　思ったよりあっという間に過ぎてしまい、船酔いする間もありませんでした。
クルージング中に　ドリンク二杯か　ドリンクとスイーツ、スナックのいづれかと交換できるチケットももらえます。
コストパフォーマンスは　最高だと思います。
冬のマウイ島でのホエールウォッチング、お勧めです。

Blue Hawaiian is the company that filmed the scenes for Jurassic Park and our pilot took us out to where the filming took place. Absolutely beautiful. Just the helicopter ride itself is a real rush but to see 2500 ft waterfalls, the tallest ocean cliffs in the world and a rock shaped like a sleeping elephant in the middle of the ocean is just a bonus. The staff was very friendly and the pilot certainly knew the history of the islands; he kept it very interesting. We purchased the DVD of our flight and the DVD of the islands from a helicopter view and both are awesome.
