It was a cold day with rain coming and going, and I underestimated that, so I couldn't enjoy it 100%. However, it would have been perfect if I had a hat and a down jacket. There were hardly any Japanese people, and if you don't understand English, it can be difficult to grasp the content of the performance. However, the venue is compact, making it easy to grab drinks and food from the buffet anytime and the restrooms are close, which is comfortable. The number of show dancers is on the lower side, so it may not be an overwhelmingly impressive show overall, but the final fire dance was worth the entire ticket price, showcasing the craftsmanship of the dancers. The front seats are VIP, and the priority entry was smooth and good, but the regular seats are not that much inferior.

とにかく雨が降ったり止んだりの寒い日だったことを甘く見てしまったので100%良さを楽しめなかったですが、帽子とダウンジャケットでもあれば完璧でした。日本人はほぼいなくて英語が分からないと演出内容が分かり難いこともありますが、まず会場内がコンパクトでドリンクや食事のビュッフェもいつでも何回でも取りに行きやすいしお手洗いも近いの快適です。ショーダンサーの人数は少なめなので全体的には圧巻のショー演出と言えるほどでないかもしれませんが、最後のファイヤーダンスはこれだけでも全金額を払う価値を感じるほど職人技のダンサーが見れました。
前方席はVIPで、優先入場もスムーズで良かったですが通常の席でもそれほど劣る訳ではありません。

This was our first luau. We didn't know exactly what to expect, but it was very enjoyable. Great food and plenty of it. Good cultural historical experience.

We loved it. First timer. We will recommend to our friends. Good was lukewrm but good. Desserts were superb. Grounds are gorgeous.

I was immediately impressed when we were greeted as we entered the venue. The staff was extremely organized, friendly, and helpful.
The venue was clean. The activities before the meal and show were fun and informative. The food was excellent. The entertainment was excellent.

This was a very great luau. We all had a wonderful time. We recived a Lei greeting. That was very awesome. Everybody wants a flower lei. There was a lot of good food. Something for even the pickiness eaters. It was way cool to see the pig being roasted. We just loved it.

The food was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed that there were fewer dancers.

I wanted to see a show with more hula.

ゴハンは美味しかったのですが、ダンサーさんの人数が少なかったのが　少し残念でした。

もっとフラがたくさん見られるショーに行きたかったです。

I stayed at a condominium near the Marriott Resort & Spa. In the evening, I heard some very lively sounds, was it a fire dance? Drawn in by the sounds, I signed up!

I was welcomed with a lei and enjoyed a fun time with others at the free drinks. There were many dishes, so much that I couldn't finish them all. The show was also wonderful; the dancers were young but delivered a passionate performance! The audience even participated on stage, creating a fantastic atmosphere together! During the love songs, it was impressive to see couples dancing, making it a show that naturally made you want to dance.

レイで迎えて頂き、フリードリンクで同席した方と楽しい時間を過ごせました。お料理も品数が多く、食べきれないほど。
ショーも素晴らしく、まだ若いダンサーさんでしたが、情熱あるショーでした！　観客の人もステージで参加したりと、皆んなで共に盛り上げる、素晴らしい時間でした！　ラブソングの時にはご夫婦の方々が、踊っておられたのが印象的で、自然と踊りたくなるような、素晴らしいショーでした。

This was the one ‘touristy’ thing we did, but it was fun. Very well organized, although expect to walk quite a ways to get to it from the dropoff/ parking area. Holy cow, the food was incredible. SOOO much also! And an open bar! I HIGHLY recommend fish, by the way. The roasted pig was good, but I didn’t expect the fish to be so phenomenal... it was a nice surprise. Actually, the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the poi (traditional taro root ‘sauce/ garnish?’’). Everyone was so friendly, and they had great activities and excellent craftsman with items for purchase. We talked to a guy who’s family all dive for fossil whale bones and carve totems from them. Beautiful craftsmanship.

Dancers were talented. Host was impressionable but I have to say I was disappointed with the food. The waitress that tended to our table in preferred seating was not friendly or helpful. Also, the line that they sorted us in was not helpful at all for getting in.

I found this place while searching for a hula show in the Wailea area, so I made a reservation. There is no shuttle service, so I think it would be convenient to stay at the Marriott or another hotel in the Wailea area. I reserved a premium seat, but there was a long line at the reception, and since the sun hadn't set yet, it was quite hot. The premium seats were essentially in the second row from the front, with ten people sharing a round table. The show was very visible. There were three long tables set up with the exact same buffet menu, and people in priority seating were served first with one plate. Under the starry sky, I enjoyed a powerful luau and elegant hula.

ワイレア地区でフラのショーを探していたらこちらがありましたので申し込みました。送迎はないのでマリオットに泊まるかまたはワイレア地区のホテルからならば便利だと思います。プレミアム席を予約したのですがその前の受付で長い行列が出来ており、まだ太陽も沈んでなかったのでかなり暑かったです。プレミアム席は実質前から2列目、丸テーブルに10人の相席です。ショーはよく見えました。ブュッフェは全く同じメニューが乗った長テーブルが3列用意されていて優先席の人からワンプレートに盛っていく形でした。星空の下、迫力あるルアウと優雅なフラで楽しめました。

Cute local luau with good food. I suggest paying for the VIP experience, because VIP gets to the buffet line first, as the food goes quickly. Just 6-8 dancers total and a host, but adorable local luau!

This was our 5th time attending this luau and once again it was top notch. The staff was friendly and the food and entertainment were awesome. The event was very well organized and the venue was perfect.

Really enjoyed our luau experience! The event is well organized. Our section's server was very friendly and funny, and very quick to bring rounds of drinks from the bar. Our section was one of the last to be dismissed to get food but there was still plenty of food as new trays were continually being refreshed. Location of the luau is very picturesque but bring a jacket/sweater as our night (end of April) was very windy/chilly - some people were in winter parkas!

I was recommended this show by the taxi driver I took from the airport and made a reservation. The tables are shared, and everyone chats in a friendly atmosphere.

Not only does it feature relaxed Hawaiian hula dancing, but it also showcases various Polynesian dances from Tahiti, Samoa, and more. There are several interactive performances as well (like children dancing on stage together), making it a show that families, couples, and people of all ages can enjoy together.

One thing to note is that there are many moments where English proficiency is helpful. This includes communication at shared tables and understanding explanations, such as going to the buffet to get food for your table; if you don't catch it well, you might find yourself confused.

ハワイアンのゆったりしたフラダンスのみならず、
タヒチやサモア等の様々なポリネシアンダンスを披露してくれます。
参加型の演目もいくつかあり(子ども達が舞台で一緒に踊る等)
家族連れやカップル、様々な年齢の人が一緒に楽しめるショーだと感じました。

注意点といえば、英語能力が欲しい場面が多々あります。
相席でのコミュニケーションもですが
ビュッフェで食事をテーブルごとに取りに行く等の説明が、よく聞き取れてないと「あれっ」てなるかも

Great time. Show had ups and downs but overall it was nice. We upgraded to preferred seating which was nice but i think it was not really worth the extra money. Food was really good. I would do it again.

This was my first time watching a luau show, so I can't compare it to others, but I really enjoyed the cute dances and the fire dance. After checking in and being guided, we had a photo opportunity (available for purchase at the end for those interested). Once we were seated at our assigned table, drinks were brought to us, and we could enjoy the sunset by the beach while the kids had fun with face painting services. We also got to see the whole pig being roasted. After being seated, there was time to greet the people at the neighboring table, but since our family isn't very good at English, we could only manage to ask where they were from.

The dancers were relatively young, a mix of boys and girls, which gave a cute impression. At one point, kids and newlywed couples were called up to dance together, creating a homey atmosphere.

The meal was served buffet-style, and I tried a bit of everything, all of which was delicious. There wasn't really time for seconds, but the dessert corner had snacks like potatoes that paired well with drinks, so I was able to go back for those multiple times.

ルアウショーを見るのが初めてなので、他と比較することはできませんが、可愛らしいダンスとファイヤーダンスを楽しむことができました。受付をすませて、誘導されると記念撮影が待っています（最後に希望者は購入可）。案内されたテーブルに着いた後、ドリンクを持ってきてもらい、海辺のサンセットを眺めたり、子供達は顔にペインティングをしてもらうサービスを楽しむことができます。また豚の丸焼きができあがったところも見せてもらいます。席に着くと、隣のテーブルの人達と挨拶をしたりする時間がありますが、私たち家族はあまり英語が得意ではないので、出身を聞くくらいの会話しかできませんでした。
ダンサーは割と若い、男の子と女の子といった感じでした。なので可愛らしい印象です。途中で子供達や新婚カップルなどが呼ばれて前に出て一緒に踊る時間もあり、アットホームな印象でした。
食事はバイキング形式で、一通り食べましたが、どれも美味しかったです。食事はおかわりをする時間がありませんでしたが、デザートのコーナーにはポテトなどのお酒のおつまみもあるので、それは何回も取りに行くことができました。

It was a family trip and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The singing and dancing was amazing! I recommend it to all who want to experience a luau. We will definitely go again.

This was our second time attending this luau and it was wonderful again !! The food is delicious, the entertainment is awesome and the venue is beautiful. We highly recommend this if you are looking for a true luau experience !!

the show was great and the sunset right off the beach was incredible. the food was delicious and we all had a wonderful time.

It was a fantastic and impressive show that my husband, who visited Hawaii for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed! However, there were hardly any Japanese people on Maui, and my husband, who doesn't understand English, couldn't follow the explanations or guidance.

I also only understood a bit (just everyday conversation), so I was anxious about communication, but I was busy supporting my husband... haha.

Since it's an overseas trip, it's natural, but be aware that it won't be like Honolulu, where you see Japanese people everywhere.

On the other hand, everyone was really friendly, and the show was incredibly lively! I definitely want to go again!

ハワイが初めての旦那さんも大満足な迫力ある素晴らしいショーでした！
ただ、マウイ島には日本人がほとんど居らず、英語の分からない旦那は説明や案内が分かりませんでした。

私も聞き取りのみ(日常会話程度)だったので、コミュニケーションには不安でしたが旦那のフォローで手一杯に...笑

海外旅行なので当たり前ですが、ホノルルのような見渡す限り日本人のようにはいきませんので注意。

その代わり、みーんなノリが良くてショーも最高の盛り上がりでした！
また、是非いきたいです！

Good food! Lots of fun! Beautiful location! Good family entertainment!

I prefer traditional hula (kahiko), and although there were luau shows at the hotel where I stayed, most of them were Polynesian shows. That's why I deliberately chose this "Traditional Luau & Hula Hawaiian Show - Old Lahaina Luau." As I expected, the show featured a lot of traditional hula (kahiko), and I was satisfied. Those who prefer fire dancing may not be as pleased. The meal was served buffet-style, with dishes generously plated according to the order of each group's seating. The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the poke was very delicious. I also requested through Veltra to have a "floor seating" arrangement in advance. Cushions were provided, so there was no need for additional mats. Moreover, since we were in the front row, taking photos and videos was perfect without anyone's head getting in the way. I recommend requesting front row seating. There is parking available, but I parked at the Lahaina Cannery Mall parking lot on the opposite side, which was spacious and, of course, free. I highly recommend it!

私は古典フラ（カヒコ）が好みで宿泊ホテル先でもルアウショーはあったのですがルアウショーの多くはポリネシアンショーの為敢えてこの「伝統ルアウ＆フラ ハワイアンショー オールド・ラハイナ・ルアウ」を選びました。思った通りショーの内容は、古典フラ（カヒコ）が多く、満足しました。ファイアダンスが好みの人は満足しないかも知れません。食事も席毎グループの順番でビュフェスタイルでお皿にしっかり盛り付けしました。ドリンクも飲み放題でポキがとっても美味しかったです。席もあらかじめveltraさんに依頼し”床に座る席”にしてもらいました。座布団が用意されていましたので敷物は不要でした。しかも最前席でしたので写真・ビデオ撮影も人の頭も邪魔にならずバッチリでした。最前列を依頼する事をお薦めします。駐車場はありますが反対側のラハイナキャネリー・モールの駐車場が広くこちらに駐車しました。無論無料でした.....是非お勧めします。

I went to see the show with my husband on our honeymoon. The show was great. The food was a little dry but not too bad. We enjoyed the night out and it was definitely a great experience.

We have been to several luaus on our many trips to Maui and this one is by far the best !! Food, entertainment, view.....everything was just perfect !! Would definitely recommend this activity if you are looking for a truly authentic luau. You won't be disappointed.

The all-you-can-drink alcohol was great.
I thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Hawaiian experience.
The girls' dancing was impressive, but all the boys were cute, and my wife (66 years old) was delighted.

Everything was great. The food, the drinks, the entertainment. It wasn't cheezy like I was thinking it would be. The dances actually had meaning behind them. Service was great also. Sometimes you think whenever they say "All you can drink" that they will give you like 1 drink and make you beg for the rest. Not the case here, they kept the drinks coming and they were good quality drinks.
Also liked how the local people were selling their goods around the interior. This package had everything that you could want. Great Hawaiian experience.

We loved the atmosphere, the staff treated us very well and spoiled us with amazing food and the show was incredible! I would definitely recommend it. For special occasions or just to experience the full hawaian atmosphere and taste of the local traditions.

My family absolutely loved this activity. Great service, fantastic food and drinks. Great performance sharing the tradition of Aloha and the history. Luau was also in a great location overlooking the beach. Very close to where we were staying.

What to expect? A warm shell Lei greeting, photo for purchase, friendly staff, great service, great performance, great Mai Tai's, and a meal that will make you want to stay in Maui. This activity is recommended for anyone of any age. Great time!

Well worth the money. Delicious food, a huge variety of drinks and very entertaining show.
