Had a fantastic time! Lots of whales to see. Can't wait to do this again the next time we're in Maui.

this was a great value for money tour, nice people running trip with loads of knowledge, reasonably priced snacks.... All ages loved it.

We participated in an early morning tour. Since we don't understand English, we were hoping for a tour with a Japanese guide, but we were told, "It's the next tour." I wish we had known when the Japanese guide would board.

For now, we boarded the ship. We were the only Japanese people on it.

A crew member was explaining something about whales, but we couldn't understand at all. However, we did understand when she said, "Wow! Splash!" when the whale spouted water. It was amazing to see the tail and pectoral fins flapping up close.

When we went, it was the best season, and we were able to see whales probably within 15 meters of the boat. I think we could have enjoyed it even more if we understood English.

早朝のツアーに参加。英語がわからない私たちは、日本語ガイドさんがいるツアーだ、と期待指定して行ったけど、「次のツアーです」と言われました。いつ日本語ガイドが乗船するのかわかるようになっていればよかったなぁ。と。
とりあえず、乗船。日本人は私たちだけ。
クルーのお姉さんが何やらクジラの事を説明してくれているのだけどさっぱりわからない。。
くじらが潮を吹く時に「うぁ〜おぉ！スプラ〜シュッ！！」と言うのはわかりました。尾びれや胸びれをばたつかせるのが間近で観れて感動☆
行った時は最高のシーズンで船のたぶん15m近くでクジラを観る事が出来ました。
英語がわかればもっと楽しめたと思います。

Saw more whales than we had ever seen before. Our guide was very informative and knew his stuff.

The departure is at 7:30 AM, and the fare is cheaper than the morning departures. The meeting time is 7:00 AM, but quite a few people are already at Lahaina Harbor, so it's better to arrive before 7:00 AM to park in the harbor's three-hour free parking. You will need to present the printed voucher at the booth, write your name, and sign a document acknowledging the risks associated with cruising to receive your boat ticket. Boats to Molokai Island and snorkeling tours also depart from the same location in sequence. The boat won't arrive until the previous one departs, so be sure to look around carefully to avoid getting on the wrong one. There is no Japanese guide for the early morning departure, but a naturalist will explain the whales' ecology in English. In early March, the peak whale season is slightly past, but we were able to see a whale approximately every ten minutes during the two-hour cruise. We could only see the dorsal fins and tails from a distance, so it might be a good idea to bring binoculars. The weather was cloudy. I had taken motion sickness medication in advance. The waves were calm, so it was fine. Bringing food and drinks is allowed, but snacks were also sold on the boat. A bottle of juice was about two dollars. The cruising experience was refreshing, but since we didn't see the whales' dynamic movements up close, my 12-year-old son (and some young Americans on board) found it a bit boring.

早朝7:30発で料金は午前発よりお得です。7:00集合ですがラハイナ港にはすでに結構人が来ているので、車を港の３時間無料パーキングに駐車するには7:00前には着いていたほうがよいです。あらかじめプリントアウトしておいたバウチャーをブースで出して名前を書き、「クルージングに伴う諸リスクを承知しています」との書類にサインすると、船のチケットを渡されます。同じ場所からモロカイ島行の船やシュノーケリングツアーの船も順番に出ます。前の船が出るまでは時間になっても船が入港して来ないので、よく周囲を見て乗り間違えないようにしましょう。早朝発には日本語ガイドはありませんが、ナチュラリストの方が英語でクジラの生態などを説明してくれます。３月上旬だと、クジラのピークはやや過ぎているとのことですが、それでも２時間のクルーズで10分に１頭くらいの割合で見れました。遠くに時々胸ビレや尾ビレが見える程度だったので、双眼鏡を持っていくといいかもしれません。天気は曇り。あらかじめ酔い止めを飲んでいました。波は静かで穏やかな日でしたので、大丈夫でした。飲食物持込OKですが、船中でスナックの販売もしていました。ジュース１本２ドルくらいのようでした。クルージングとしては爽やかですが、それほど近くでダイナミックなクジラの動きを見れたわけでもなかったので、１２歳の息子（や同船していたアメリカ人の?若い人たち）はやや退屈していました。

I was satisfied to see many whales!
Since it was an English guide, there were many explanations I didn't understand, but it was great to see the whales up close.
I didn't see any big jumps, but I was able to see them splashing their tails and jumping a little.
I definitely want to participate again during whale season.

大きなジャンプは見れませんでしたが、尻尾をバシャバシャしたり、少し跳ねたりするのが見れました。
またクジラの時期に、ぜひ参加したいです。

I stayed in Lahaina and participated in the early morning plan. Although there were no whales out in the early morning, around 9 o'clock, about 15 whales appeared near the boat. I was able to see them spouting and dancing up close, and I successfully captured it on video, which made me very satisfied.

早朝でクジラも寝ていたのか出てきませんが９時過ぎになって舟の近くに１５頭ほどのクジラが出現潮吹き・乱舞と身近に見る事が出来、無事ビデオに収めることが出来大満足でした

Too many to count. Excellent boat crew. The crew had extreme knowledge on all aspects of whales.

We hat a very nice boat trip and saw about 20 whales. The Crew gave us some interesting Information about whales. I would book the trip again.

Excellent tour with very friendly & informative guide (Bob). Wish we would have seen more of upcountry Maui, but other than that was great! Fabulous views, comfortable bus, great experience. Would recommend to anyone, so nice not to have to drive that windy road, could enjoy the ride in comfort and safety!

We saw whales immediately. Whales were everywhere. Beyond my expectations.

When it comes to this season on Maui, it's all about whale watching. This time, I participated in an early morning plan that gathered at Lahaina Harbor at 7:00 AM. Since the tour was guided only in English, all the other passengers were foreigners except for us.

Although I couldn't fully catch what the guide was explaining due to my limited listening skills, the sunrise view from the boat was incredibly beautiful. We were able to see whales jumping here and there, and I had a refreshing and fulfilling time.

Waking up early is worth it. This early morning plan is also reasonably priced, so I personally highly recommend it! I definitely want to join this tour again when I visit Maui.

*When I arrived right on time at the Lahaina Cruise Company booth, there was already a large crowd. It's an easy place to find without any confusion.
*On the cruise ship, coffee and light snacks are also available for sale, so you can feel at ease even if you're hungry.

マウイ島のこの季節といえば、ホエールウォッチング。
今回、朝7:00にラハイナハーバー集合という早朝プランに参加しました。
この時間帯のツアーは英語のみのガイドという事で、乗客は私たち以外全て外国の方でした。

ガイドさんの解説は、私にリスニング力がなくきちんと聞き取れてはいませんでしたが…
それでも、船上から眺める事のできる日の出はとても美しく、
クジラのジャンプもあちらこちらで見る事ができ、爽快で充実した時間を過ごす事ができました。

早起きは三文の得。この早朝プランはお値段もリーズナブルなので、個人的にはとてもお勧めです！
またマウイ島に行く際には、是非参加したいツアーです。

※集合時間丁度に到着したラハイナクルーズカンパニーブースは、既に多くの人だかりでした。迷う事無く探しやすい場所です。
※クルーズ船内では、コーヒーや軽食も販売されていて、お腹が空いていても安心です。

The waters around Maui were calm because they are surrounded by islands. There were whales everywhere, and I was wondering which one to see up close. The schedule was perfectly on time. The course we chose departed at noon, but since we had to spend a lot of time outside the boat while watching the whales, the sunlight was quite strong, so I recommend a course that finishes in the morning. It seems that more whales will be coming in mid-February. Our Japanese guide, Taka, was very kind and taught us many things. Thank you very much.

マウイ島の海は、島々に囲まれているため海が穏やかでした。
いたるところにクジラがいて、どのクジラを近くで見ようかな？といった具合でした。
スケジュール進行もばっちり時間通りでした。
私たちの選んだコースは１２時発だったのですが、クジラを見る際、どうしても船の外にいる時間が長く日差しがきつかったので、午前に終われるコースがお勧めです。
これから２月中旬にかけて、もっとクジラがやってくるみたいです。
日本人ガイドのタカさんは、とても親切で色々な事を教えていただけました。

As soon as we set sail, we encountered several whales near the city, and we ventured quite far, making for a fulfilling two hours. Thanks to choosing the early morning plan, not only was the price affordable, but we also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise, and the boat was not crowded, allowing us to move around to see the whales in different directions. Additionally, we were able to easily park at the Public Parking near the dock.

　出航してすぐ、街の近くでも複数のクジラに会えましたが、結構遠くまで足を延ばしてくれ、充実した２時間でした。
　早朝プランにしたおかげで、料金が安いだけでなく、綺麗な日の出も楽しめ、船内が空いているのでクジラの出る方向に合わせて前後左右へ移動できたのも良かったです。また、船着き場近くのPublic Parkingにも簡単に停められました。
　

This was our third time on this particular whale watch and we keep coming back because we enjoy the small group size, the friendluness, and the knowledge of the staff,We took first time visitors to Maui with us and they are now hooked. We had a blast!

I participated in a tour at the beginning of December. At the time, I didn't know that the whale watching season runs from December to May, so I was really worried whether we would actually see any since it had just turned December. As expected, no whales appeared no matter how long we waited. The guide also mentioned that we might not see any, but in the end, a mother and baby whale showed up. Ultimately, it turned out to be a satisfying tour.

１２月の初めのツアーに参加しました。参加した時は知らなっ方のですが、ホエールウオッチングの季節は１２月から５月ということで、まだ１２月になったばかりで本当に見えるのか心配でした。案の定待っても待っても現れません。はんば諦めガイドの方も見れないかも知れないと言っていたのですが最後に親子のクジラが現れました。最終的には満足のいくツアーになりました。

We were blessed with good weather, and it was a fun tour that we could participate in with peace of mind. I was surprised by the phone call the day before regarding the change in tour time (all in English), but I managed to understand and get through it. On the day of the tour, it was great that a Japanese staff member was on board to provide detailed advice.

好天にも恵まれ、安心して参加できるツアーで、楽しい時間でした。
前日にツアー時間変更の電話連絡（全て英語）には驚きましたが、なんとか理解して乗り切りましたが。
当日は、日本人スタッフも乗船いただき細かなアドバイスもあり良かったです。

When I first went to the ticket booth, I was told that there was only a different time available. When I went back at that time, I received a coupon that could be used inside for free, which I exchanged for tickets and potato chips on the boat. Once I saw a whale, I started to see them one after another, which was thrilling. However, the most disappointing part was that, although I suddenly encountered a scene where the whale jumped vertically, everyone was starting to get bored and I didn't have my camera ready. I realized the importance of always being prepared with my camera and not giving up on capturing moments.

最初にチケット売り場へ行くと、違う時間しかないとのことで、再度その時間に行ったところ、中で使えるクーポンをタダでもらえ船の中でチケットとポテトチップスなどと交換できた。クジラは、１度みえると次々と見え出し感動したが、もっとも残念だったのは、よく写真にあるような垂直に飛び上がる場面が突然出くわしたものの、みんなそろそろ飽きてきたころなので、カメラを構えていなかったことです。なにごともあきらめずカメラをずっと構えている心がけが必要と痛感しました。

I participated in the early morning tour. Compared to my last visit in February, I was a bit worried that the number of whales visible from the hotel I stayed at was significantly lower, suggesting it might still be early in the season, but I was able to see plenty of whales without any issues.

This was my first time joining the early morning tour, and cruising while watching the beautiful sunrise was amazing! You can see the islands gradually becoming more vibrant as the light brightens. Since we return around 9:30, it allows for a productive day, and I highly recommend it.

早朝の回に参加しました。前回参加したとき（２月）に比べて、滞在していたホテルから見られるクジラの数がかなり少なかったので、まだ季節的に早かったかと少し心配していましたが、まったく問題なくたくさんのクジラを見ることができました。
今回初めて早朝の回に参加したのですが、美しい朝日を見ながらのクルージングは最高でした！島々が明るくなるにつれ、だんだんと濃い色になっていくのを見ることができます。帰港するのは9:30頃なので一日を有効に使うことが出来、とてもオススメです。

It wasn't because of the tour that we couldn't see many whales... I think the tour itself was very smooth and good.

これはツアーのせいでなく・・・クジラをあまり見ることができませんでした。
ツアー自体はとてもスムーズでよかったとおもいます。

It was great that a Japanese guide happened to join us. My children and wife were down with seasickness.

I would give this 4 1/2 stars! My husband and I ended up getting a private tour because no one else signed up! Our guide was great (didn't give name)-he constantly was bringing things back up to the surface to show us and was very knowledgable about anything we asked about. I had a very personal and special experience with a female turtle while snorkeling and we saw some while kayaking, but I thought we would see more at the turtle cleaning station. Would recommend this to anyone with experience. The total time was good but we wish it could have been a little longer-our guide didn't want us to be on choppy waters. Our tour was around 3 hrs. They provide you with snacks and water. Our guide was snapping pictures for us and will e-mail them to us for free! Can't wait to see them! Mahalo to our guide and this company!!

Tip: After you are done, ask your guide about the Jaws Food Truck-delicious fish tacos and burritos with snacks and smoothies!

I took my two children and enjoyed the morning deal. Everyone was moved by the dynamic sights! The nearby free public parking was full by the time we left, so it's better to arrive early.

近くのフリー（パブリック）パーキングは帰るころにはいっぱいになっていたので早めに行ったほうがいいですね。

I participated in the early morning tour. I was able to see whales, and the price was also reduced, so it was great. However, there was no Japanese-speaking guide. If you need a Japanese guide, it might be better to avoid the early morning tours.

早朝ツアーに参加しました。クジラも見られたし、料金も安くなっていたので、良かったです。ただ、日本語ガイドの方はいらっしゃいませんでした。日本語ガイドが必要な方は早朝は避けた方がいいかもしれません。

I was able to see a lot of whales, and it was moving!!
The morning sea feels great.
However, there were many boarding points, and it was hard to understand.

Exceeded my expectations for so late in the season. Saw more whales than expected and learned a lot about their behaviors. Excellent photo opportunities too.

It was a drizzly and chilly day, starting off with a low energy. The whales might still be sleeping due to the bad weather... The atmosphere on the boat was quite subdued, but as the cruise progressed, we started spotting whales! "Oh! Over there!!!" "Oh! This way!!!" They came quite close, even splashing us with their breath. The early morning plan might have different chances of seeing whales depending on the weather. However, when you do see them, it's a 100% satisfying activity.

小雨ぱらぱらのお天気で肌寒いし、低めのテンションでのスタート。クジラさんもお天気悪いから、まだ寝ているのかもしれない。。。ますますテンション低めの船内でしたが、クルーズの後半になると、あっ！あそこ！！！あっ！こっち！！！とクジラさんが登場してきてくれました。しかもかなりの至近距離まできてくれて、ブリージンクの潮がかかるくらいです。早朝プランはお天気によってクジラさんに会える確立が違ってくるのかもしれませんね。でも、会えると満足度100％なアクティビティです。

I booked the early morning plan. We left around 6:30, and since it wasn't too far from the Sheraton, we arrived at the harbor in about 15 minutes by taxi. The boat was quite rocky, but I was glad to see several whales. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't take good photos since the whales only appear for a moment.

6時半ぐらい出発して、シェラトンからあまり遠くので、タクシーで15分ぐらいでハーバーに着いた。船揺れが結構う激しかったけど、なん匹の鯨を見れてよかったです。鯨が出てくるのが一瞬なんだから、写真がうまく取れなくてちょっと残念です。

I know every whale watch is a different experience but this was the best whale watch cruise ever. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and the captain seem to have a knack to know where they were going to be and how to move into the best position. The boat was two decks and you could move freely between them. It's a bigger boat which some say is worse for fighting for rail space when whales are spotted but I saw a smaller boat next to us and the waves were rocking them almost out of the water while our boat was barely rocking. We got lucky enough to spot two sets of whales and some bottle-nose dolphins even though it was the end of the season. The second set of whales came right up next to our boat and hung around for a while for us to get a really, really close look.
