Lanai is so beautiful with lots of reef fishes and the bluest water I have ever seen. Oh and we also saw some whales, the second time. Everyone on the crew is super awesome and really took care of us. Will be seeing you guys again ... hopefully sooner than later. lol.

This was great. Food was great and the whole productive was very professional. They even had the performers meet at back for pictures you were so inclined. I did notice they did take some pictures before going - unsure how that was because it seemed to be for another tour group/company. Of course, you paid for these separately. I didn't inquire what the requirement for the pictures was - but perhaps if you notice such, may be you will. Many people were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. It was a nice time and the music seemed to be continual even while you ate. A nice way to end a stay in Hawaii and it ended in good time so that you weren't up all night packing for the next day's start of the return to the mainland.

First of all the Hyatt Regency Maui is an amazingly beautiful property right on the water and the Luau location is lovely as well - Makes you feel like you are tucked away in a private beach cove. The food was great especially the Ulupalakua Beef and the Taro Dinner Rolls. Our server brought us drinks all night and we loved the vibrant costumes and the fire dancer at the end of the show.

The service was wonderful. Anyone booking should know before hand that the stairs going above/beow decks is difficult for anyone with walking difficulties (with a cane). Food was very well prepared.
Comments from the entertainer regarding what we are passing as we cruise along the coast would be beneficial. But, it was very good music.

We read some comments about this luau being crowded, so we were expecting really small venue. I think the venue was good size. I guess if you are used to taking up so much space for yourself, you feel very tight, but we were very comfortable. The dancers were awesome, and foods were well prepared. We stayed in Kaanapali, so it was walking distance from our hotel. It's worth it. I'd recommend it to my friends.

I participated in a tour without pick-up on January 24 at 9 AM. We boarded a small boat and listened to explanations inside the submarine as we made our way to it. It took about 15 minutes, but the view of the island from the sea was very beautiful, and since it was January, we were able to see whales as well.
We transferred to the submarine on the water. The boarding order started with a large group, and I ended up boarding last, sitting right next to the pilot and the guide. Perhaps it was to help solo participants get to know each other?
We looked out through a round window about 40 cm in diameter and 15 cm thick, observing the underwater scenery. With beautiful bubbles, we quickly descended to the seabed, which was a blue world with few colors. We quietly moved towards a spot where many fish could be seen, changing the submarine's direction so that both the people on the right and left could see the fish well, passing through schools of fish, coral, seaweed, and sea urchins. Suddenly, a large fish appeared, and the guide's shout of "sushi fish!" made everyone burst into laughter!
I felt there were fewer fish than expected, but since it was a deep and vast underwater world, they were probably scattered around. The submarine headed towards a sunken ship, and after observing the fish living there, we returned. In the end, I was thrilled to see three rays swimming slowly. I wanted to see a sea turtle, but I was told, "They don't come to such deep places far from land." I wondered why there was a sea turtle depicted in the pamphlet.
We surfaced with bubbles and exchanged groups with the next tour participants before returning to the port.
I was able to have a valuable submarine experience, and while it wasn't 20,000 leagues under the sea, it was wonderful to see a world I couldn't dive into myself. Moreover, it was a tour where I could enjoy the foreign atmosphere with a guide who entertained everyone and fellow participants having fun. Out of 48 people, I was the only Japanese, so I was quite anxious, but there were Japanese explanation materials and audio guides available on board, so it was fine.
Above all, the staff was considerate, allowing me to have a great time. They took photos during boarding, and those who wanted could buy them for $20 when disembarking. The guide made sure to pose with me for a photo since I was participating alone! A short DVD of the submarine experience was also included, making for a wonderful keepsake. I didn't quite understand, but they were selling tickets for $25 on board that allow free rides at any Atlantis for a year.

Good food, unlimited drinks, great entertainment (variety of dances both males and females), great host and service. The only complaint I have is that the seating was horrible. The seats were literally right up against each other so you don't have much arm or leg room. It was hard to get in and out of your seat because they were so close together. Overall wonderful experience! They even ask you if you want shaded or sun seating.

The Luau was awesome. The show was beyond my expectation. I had no prevoius experience with a luau before and it was way beyond what I expected. The hula girls can definiteley move their hips more than you can imagine. The guys were very entertaining, especially the one that was really into it, by yelling with enthusiasim and twitching his eyebrows to make you pay direct attention to him, he was the hit of the show besides the Samoan import that performed an excellent fire show.
The food was above average, would of been better if the pork wasn't dry, try medium next time. But food is hard to control some times when you have over 500 people to serve. Other than that it was awesome. Can't remember the host's name, she did an awaesome job blessing the food. Too many places do not engage in prayer. If you pray and believe in Jesus, he will come thru for you.

I went to Maui with my wife and our two elementary school children. One of the goals of this trip was to show the kids the fish in the ocean, so we participated in a submarine tour.
We took a boat from the harbor in Lahaina to the submarine docking point, and from there we boarded the submarine. Inside the submarine, there were small round windows in front of each seat, allowing us to see into the ocean. Once everyone was on board and we received a brief explanation, we began our descent. Since the depth was displayed in feet, it didn't register immediately, but we quickly reached over 100 feet (about 30 meters) below the surface, and the underwater exploration began. The seabed was sandy, with few corals and fish. The kids were excited to see a sea urchin, but my wife and I were a bit disappointed. However, after a while, we arrived at a coral that seemed to be a large fish habitat, where we encountered a school of brightly colored fish (I forgot their names) swarming around the coral. This was incredibly exciting for all of us—my wife, the kids, and me. It was the first time in my life I had seen such a large school of fish.
The underwater exploration continued as we moved to the next fish habitat, where we encountered a different school of shimmering silver tropical fish, and once again, the whole family was thrilled. Finally, we were lucky enough to see a manta ray gracefully swimming by, almost as if it were flying.
After the dive, my son said on the boat heading back to the harbor, "Let's come to Maui every year to see the fish!" I felt relieved, knowing we had achieved the purpose of this trip. I am truly grateful to Atlantis Submarines for providing us with such a wonderful experience.
