Wonderful boat tour with experienced staff
Reviewed by: Daniel, 2023/07/10The Napali coast boat tour was definitely worth our time and money. The 5-hour or so tour was filled with constant activities, with experienced captain and the crew. The 20-or-so person boat was comfortable with the front-facing seats and a clean bathroom. It was also newly cleaned and painted. The captain also maneuvered through the caves and shore with experience, providing good opportunities for the pictures. The tour also provided an ample time for a snorkeling towards the end. It was definitely something we would recommend.

Air Kauai Doors-Off Helicopter Flight Adventure
It was an awesome ride-

The staff was professional, and the facilities were new and clean. They gave us the phone harness and the wind breaker (which was essential).
The pilot - Steve - was experienced and guided through the entire flight giving us confidence.
The fly around the volcano was the most amazing of all.
The doors-off does present windy conditions on top of already windy (in addition to the lift from blades). So if you are on the edge seats, be ready to enjoy the ride with strong winds hitting your body and the face.

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim

Tour guide Harrison was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the local flora/fauna, history. Harrison was cool with letting our 10 year old daughter double kayak with him (she didn’t want to ride with mom and dad!). Lunch sandwiches were very yummy. Tour guide even provided a chilled pineapple after the tour. Harrison made sure we all had transportation after the tour and actually went out of his way to drop us off at the beach across the highway in his own personal vehicle. 100% recommend and would use again!! Also-prepare to get muddy LOL

The grounds are beautiful with a lot of great photo opportunities and the food was surprisingly delicious! The drinks were tasty and they kept them coming. The show was not only entertaining with traditional components but had a flare of different cultures that really added to the experience! Absolutely a must when choosing which luau to attend. I was worried when the price was significantly more affordable but wow was I ever so happy with my choice. Would definitely recommend!!

Waimea Canyon Sightseeing Tour & Wailua River Cruise to Fern Grotto with Lunch
Informative tour for first timers in Kauai
Reviewed by: NMP, 2023/07/04My family and I had never been to Kauai and I wanted to book this tour as it had some fun things to do. Rosario was a great tour driver, very funny and knowledgeable and safe driver. We went to Opaekaa Falls, then went on a river cruise on the wailua river to the fern grotto (while on the boat we learned how to hula and enjoyed listening to the smith family singing and dancing hula). Then we went to Waimea canyon aka the Grand Canyon of the pacific- pictures do not do it justice. Very breathtaking. Then we went to kauai coffee plantation where we sampled amazing coffee and finally went to see the spouting horn. Overall a great tour with Rosario

We really enjoyed the hula dancing and singing along the ride. The time spent on the boat and walking to was not too long so it was perfect for our group.

Fun river cruise!

We didn’t realize how big the Kauai River is. We had always pictured it as being much, much smaller.
It was also very affordable and definitely worth the time and money.

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim
Amazing Kauai Adventure
Reviewed by: Gregg M, 2023/06/29If you are down for a decent workout plus an absolutely exceptional experience go on this excursion.
The kayak trip is breathtaking. You are paddling along more or less the Kauai jungle. Once you complete your paddle up it’s off to a beginner level hike.
The hike consists of a couple of water crossings and then being immersed in open cane like fields and then into dense rain forest. Then you begin to get peaks of the waterfall ahead.
The arrival at the waterfall is phenomenal. For us it was our first time to a Hawaiian waterfall and all the hype and what you expect to experience, well, it’s true! Bask in the beauty of the falls, go enjoy the water and feel it crashing about you, you won’t be disappointed. It was a bit chilly at first but once in it’s comfortable.
This is where you get lunch, the sandwiches were great, the cookies, those were delicious!
Once you get to spend the 45 or so minutes at the falls it’s time for the hike back. Take in the scenery, it’s truly breathtaking.
Once back at the kayaks it’s time for the 2 mile paddle back to the marina. Here’s our advice on the paddle, go easy heading out to save your energy for the paddle back. It seems there is always a head wind for the return trip, we’ve heard this from friends who did it in the Spring and we did it late June. Just expect a harder return paddle then out.
Our guide was Steve, so I can’t speak for the other guides. But he was a top notch guide. Shared great info on what we were seeing, the horticultural significance of the area and some Kauai history, you are traveling through where the Hawaiian Kings/Queens lived.
Couple of tips, if you are a mosquito attraction like my wife, bring some bug spray. Absolutely make sure you have a refillable water container, it’s hot and you are working. And, go do this excursion, hands down the most fun thing we’ve done on the islands.

Wonderful trip
Reviewed by: Sue, 2023/06/25After a 44 year absence my husband and I returned to the Wailua River cruise with our oldest granddaughter. Much had changed and much was still the same. The boats are bigger and covered. The music was fun and enjoyable. The cave is less accessible than it was way back then but that was due to natural consequences and the family has worked hard to create a lovely walk and viewing area. We appreciated the wonderful family involved in all aspects of the trip and learned more about the area. It was a wonderful lead into our night at the Smith Family Luau which we also enjoyed and recommend!

They let us know when the water would get rough and warn people of the possibility of getting wet, were diligent when someone was getting sea sick. They made the rounds to visit, offered to take photos, and helped people get seated safely with their dinner and drink in tact. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Loved it!♥️♥️♥️We attended on our 43rd wedding anniversary.!

Kauai Fresh Flower Greeting Service at Lihue Airport
What a great welcome to Kauai!
Reviewed by: Jacque Rideout, 2023/06/09Even though I knew the lei greeting was going to happen-it was still exciting to see our name being held up by Dan with an arm full of orchard lei's. Dan was as excited as we were to be in Kauai, he was super careful in checking to see if our 1-year old grandson wanted his lei (Mom got it) and even graciously took our family picture under the Kauai sign at the airport.
I highly recommend a welcome onto the island with an orchard lei. It made me want to kick my shoes off, grab an umbrella drink and run to the beach as fast as I could!
