Hidden Valleys of Kauai Waterfall Swim, Kayak & Hike Adventure
Beautiful kayak/hike tour.
Reviewed by: Chris, 2023/04/27We didn't want anything too strenuous and this was perfect. A relaxing easy kayak down a wide river with beautiful views along the way. The hike was a bit slick and muddy but was fine with water shoes. My wife used a stick we found along the way for balance. The hike was easy and very pretty. The swimming hole is not under the falls like I pictured in my mind. The swimming hole with rope swing is before the falls. The guides were super - as friendly as can be, knowledgeable about the history and nature, and very helpful with getting into and out of kayaks, directions etc etc. They also had fun personalities and attitudes. All in all a great tour!

Na Pali Coast Tour

I really enjoyed how we would go along and the captain would talk about a certain place or landmark. It was so fun stopping and relaxing for lunch and going for a swim. I do recommend to bring something if you get cold easily during the cruise. The captains on board were very friendly and constantly checking up on people!They were also very open to answer any questions people had.

He should have had a megaphone or microphone so we at back could hear what he was saying. I heard from other people he was describing the plants & trees along the way, which I heard nothing.

シダの洞窟 観光遊覧船 ハワイ唯一の航行可能な川を行く！＜英語ガイド／半日＞
一人で行けないシダの洞窟に、エンターテインメント込みで楽しめました！

今回は、オアフ島とカウアイ島。
カウアイ島では狙っていたシダの洞窟には観光遊覧船が気になっていて予約しました。乗船してからルアウ（古典的なフラ？）を見せて頂きながら、川を遡上し、洞窟まで行きました。洞窟では英語でゆかいな解説を聞けました。
帰りもみんなで一緒に歌を歌いながら楽しく戻ることができました。
フラのディナーに予定が合わず行けませんでしたが、こちらのツアーで雰囲気を味わえました。おすすめです。

great night of entertainment

I had to read the details on the brochure to know what was going on. But the show was great and we also enjoyed the grounds and the vendors who were outside.

Luau Kalamaku - Kauai Polynesian Show with Hula & Fire Dancers
Server issues - good show
Reviewed by: Davis Family of 10, 2023/03/09The Luau event location where we ate and viewed the show was all under roof - very large roof. There is not a bad seat in the place with excellent viewing. The 3-man band for our show was outstanding! They wove the dancing and other acts into an historical account which added interest to the hula and fire dancing. Great costumes and enthusiasm from the performers. The food was medium grade with the desserts below medium grade. The process to be seated was an issue with us as a server is supposed to take you after checking in to your table. No server did that for us. Hence after everyone had been served their salads we noticed nobody brought us a salad. Their head server said since we were not seated properly we were not known to the servers as to who would be serving our table. That was a really bad answer to blame us for their mistake. Once they brought us our salad, they almost immediately were asking us to go through the buffet line for the main course and servers were asking for our unfinished salad plates. Other than this server issue, the venue and show was very good.

Great food, great show!
Reviewed by: kmarquez, 2023/03/07The food was probably the best on the island! I 100% recommend this luau! The venue itself is gorgeous and they let you wander around until the event starts so definitely get there a little early, it's worthwhile! The show itself was great as well.
Don't miss out, definitely a must when in Kauai!

- Beautiful property. Got to see a peacock open its tail -Lots of great picture spots on the property.
- The food was delicious!! I finally got to try all the traditional Hawaiian food in one place. Things that I didn't get to order in the restaurants, I got here. And it was All You Can Eat which is always amazing. There was no shortage of food for sure. Since they gave you a ton of time (I think an hour?) to eat, you can take your time and go back for 2nd's or 3rd's. (All you can drink drinks but I don't drink alcohol so I enjoyed their juices which were great too!).
- Pig Ceremony!! I got to see them dig out the pig and see the whole thing. It felt special as Mr. Smith explained all that was happening.
- Good singing and hula dancing! Get on the stage and shake your booty!!
- Fire dancer in the show was great!
- This is a family run operation and we were told there were 3 generations on the property!! Keep it up!
- I appreciated the shout outs for all the celebrations that everyone was doing. From Birthdays to Anniversaries and everything in between. One big party!
GROWS:
- Honestly, a Luau is part food and part show and the show was really just lacking. There was no spirit in the performers. I'm not sure if they were bored/tired of doing it night after night or what but I felt almost bad for them(mainly the ladies). The crew was small so they had to do a lot of different dances with the same performers, there was no energy or spirit in any of the dances. Favorite part was definitely the Fire dancer - he was fantastic. The guys also carried a lot more energy than the ladies. I do appreciate the way they tried to incorporate different cultural dances into the show but they all started to look the same after one or two dances. I would've left halfway through the show if it weren't for the fire dancer at the end.

Awesome Day on the Coast

Then they provide you with a spectacular tour of the coast while sharing knowledge about the history of the coast line, Hawaiian culture and general ocean sea life. They stopped to show us spinner dolphins as a pod crossed our paths and pointed out other sea life native to Hawaii. Awesome Tour All Around!

Majestic experience on the sea
Reviewed by: Logan, 2023/02/15My family, including four kids, had a wonderful time on the Na Pali coast boat tour. The crew went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. We saw bottlenose and spinner dolphins and tons of whales up close. The views of the coast were mesmerizing. Although the weather did not cooperate for snorkeling, the crew made up for it by letting us jump off the boat and swim. It was a day to remember and a highlight for the kids!

Great family run business.
Reviewed by: CAS, 2023/02/15The boat ride over to the fern grotto was easy and short. Heard some history,, took a short walk to the grotto where they sang a song and danced. It was beautiful. Ride back had music and hula dancing. It was a slow day for us and this for perfect in our plans. Relaxing calm ride with great people. Highly recommend………………………………………………………………………………………………………we had a short lesson on how to hula dance on our way back to the dock.
