The Jurassic trail was overwhelmingly beautiful. The Napali coast line is like a dream. I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Steven as your pilot.

Unforgettable experience and views!
Reviewed by: Sarah Harris, 2021/12/28When I knew I was bringing my kids to Kauai, this was the number one experience I wanted to share with them. I had done a similar flight over 25 years ago with my family and had never forgotten it. We booked the flight easily through Veltra (when trying to book all our experiences in one website).
From the moment we got to the offices their staff were friendly and their safety protocol was top notch (which also included Covid safety restrictions as well while we were there). They fit my family of three with another couple and off we went. The views were breathtaking! It was so hard to believe that views you can usually only see in a movie or TV show we’re playing out before your very eyes. I will never forget passing by Jurassic park waterfall with the soundtrack playing in my ears. I love things like that!
The pilot was constantly telling us about different things we were seeing telling us what to expect in the rest of the trip as far as directions. She was also very attentive and offered to fly back a smoother route when unfortunately one of my kids did have side effects from the motion.
I can’t wait to go again and maybe I will try there helicopters on the various different islands. It is an unforgettable experience and so worth the money. I wish we would’ve bought our DVD now!

Breathtaking views

Amazing

GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!

Great experience

25th Anniversary Trip
Reviewed by: Melanie, 2019/05/28This was an amazing tour!!! A first for us both and would do it again in a heartbeat!!! We had Guy as our pilot and he was amazing!! He knew so much about the island we had a hard time finding questions to ask. This is a must when you come to Kauai. This company is great as well. The only thing that happened was our video didn't get us landing but the staff did discount our video and I had videotaped our landing so we did get a bit of it though. We went with another couple ad they enjoyed it as well.

Awesome Tour

We were lucky enough to catch a break in the weather and see some sights which had no been accessible for 48hrs. I felt so lucky! A great flight is always subject to the weather. Would definitely fly with them again!!

Breathtaking Views

We got to see many of the landmarks on the island and amazing views of coast especially Na Pali.
We would do this again in a heartbeat :)

Reviewed by: Chopper Steve, 2017/08/05Incredible. I've been to 40 countries and 6 continents and had countless adventure - I think this may be the most amazing thing I've ever done. If you're on the fence, go for it! Sell blood if you have to, you will not be sorry. Unless you don't do it, then you will realize in the twilight of your years something is missing from your life. Something you can't quite put your finger on - but I'm warning you now - it would be this trip. Give yourself a hand and go. Spectacular views - and I was in the middle seat. Window would have been nice, but it's great from the middle too.

Vacay on Kauai with son and family

Excellent experience

Our flight was excellent, very smooth, beautiful clear day. She was excited and would even do it again. The video of our trip was an added bonus only glitch being the audio portion did not work so you couldn't hear my clever comments. <grin>

Incredible experience, best way to see Kauai's scenery
Reviewed by: Shella, 2015/03/01Our family of 4 took a tour of Kauai with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in Feb 2015. We booked the flight a month prior, and were unable to book on our preferred day as they were already booked up, but were able to book on our 2nd choice day. When we checked in, they asked us each to stand on the mat that just looked like a welcome mat, didn't feel like standing on a scale, and they didn't broadcast your weight, it was discreet. The kids are aged 6 and 8 and could easily see out the windows and the pilot Geoff encouraged them to ask questions and interact. I am prone to motion sickness but the ride was smooth and our pilot was experienced put us all at ease. We each had a comfortable seat, about the same size seat as on an airplane, except had a 5 point harness, but was still comfortable. Terrific views and pilot gave good commentary about the island. It was tough to take pictures, reflection on the window, but they take a video of the flight you can purchase that included a camera inside the helicopter, the kids liked seeing themselves in the video. We haven't flown with other helicopter companies, so hard to compare which company is best, but Blue Hawaiian seemed very professional. We did a brief safety video and safety demonstration before the flight and the ground crew was friendly offered to take a picture of our family with the helicpter in the background. It was rather pricey for 4 of us, definitely needed to budget but it was worth it, very exciting and a once in a lifetime experience. If you want to truly see the scenery of Kauai, this is the BEST way.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopter ride Kauai

Grand Canyon" was awesome. Our pilot, Barrett, was wonderful and took a lot of time telling us what we were looking at and responding to all of our questions. Would definitely recommend as a "Must do" while in Kauai.

Awesome flight!
Reviewed by: Denise S, 2012/10/06My husband and I went on the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of Kauai. The outift was recommended to me by my boss, who had done it 20 years ago. The flight was amazing! You may think that you can see the island from a plane, but it is not the same. The center of Kauai has no roads, so this is the only way to see the area. The views of Waimea canyon and the Napali coast were awesome. My husband had never been on a helicopter tour before and was a little nervous. He was given the front seat by the door and I sat between him and the pilot. The seating is decided by weight. Well, my husband and I loved it. Everyone aboard did. The pilot (Jason) was great. He was funny and informative. I would highly recommend blue hawaiian helicopter tours.
