This was my first time participating in a Segway tour in Waikiki. We started by admiring the wall art in Kaka'ako and then rode through the yacht harbor, beach park, and the center of Waikiki, all the way to the ridge near Diamond Head, experiencing a variety of landscapes.

One area that was particularly interesting was where traditional Hawaiian homes are preserved, which is not often visited by tourists. The guides and staff were very kind, and I am truly grateful for that.

It was a fun and quick three hours. I will definitely join again the next time I visit Hawaii!

I purchased a 7-day pass. At the time of purchase, it was about 13,000 yen, which is just under 1,900 yen per day. It's quite expensive. If you have a JCB card, the Pink Line is free, so it’s worth considering how much you will use the other lines. I smoothly exchanged my Veltra voucher at the nearest LeaLea Lounge. The staff at the lounge were very kind.

I took the East Oahu Scenic Line, which wasn't available before. It was a long 3-hour drive with a restroom break (it was a park restroom, but it was acceptable, and there was toilet paper). We stopped at various points like Hanauma Bay, Halona Blowhole, and Sandy Beach for photo opportunities, and driving in the open-air trolley was quite refreshing. It feels like I could get my money's worth just from this route.

I was looking forward to the Ala Moana Sunset Drive, but unfortunately, there wasn't a beautiful sunset. Well, it’s nature, so it can’t be helped. That day, the roads were heavily congested, and what usually takes about 60 minutes took 90 minutes. Those with dinner reservations should be cautious.

The Malama Line, which tours downtown, had a significantly changed route compared to five years ago. The King Kamehameha statue and Izumo Taisha were previously only viewed from the bus, but this time we had a photo opportunity after getting off, which was nice. Also, on all lines, there used to be a Japanese-speaking guide in addition to the driver, but this time there wasn't one.

以前はなかった東オアフ絶景ラインに乗車しました。３時間のロングドライブで途中トイレタイム（公園のお手洗いでしたが何とか許容範囲。紙もありました）もありました。ハナウマ湾、ハロナ潮吹き岩、サンディビーチ等ところどころ写真タイムで下車しながら開放感のあるトロリーでドライブするのはなかなか爽快感がありました。この路線だけで結構元が取れそうな感じです。

アラモアナサンセットドライブを楽しみにしていたのですがきれいな夕焼けにならず残念でした。まぁ自然のことなので仕方ないですが。この日は道路が大渋滞で一周約６０分のところ９０分かかりました。ディナーの予約等されている方は注意です。

ダウンタウン方面を巡るマラマライン、以前（５年前）と大分ルートが変わっていました。カメハメハ大王像、出雲大社は以前は「車窓より見学」でしたが今回は下車しての写真タイムがあったのが良かったです。
また、いずれのラインも以前はドライバーの他に日本語ガイドが乗車していましたが今回はいらっしゃいませんでした。

I waited for about 20 minutes after the designated pickup time, but no one showed up. I asked everyone on all the buses if they were for the Segway tour, but everyone said no. I couldn't get through on the phone, so I left.

Later in the evening, I received an email from Veltra saying that the local Segway tour company reported they couldn't find us and that it would cost $50 for a reschedule. The tour company claimed that a Japanese driver got off to look for us, but there was no one who seemed to fit that description at all.

I thought it was a great plan to combine Diamond Head and Makapu'u Trail, allowing us to make effective use of our time. We hiked as a couple in our 60s, and there were no dangerous areas. It wasn't crowded, and everyone was well-mannered, allowing us to navigate the narrow spots by yielding to each other. You can enjoy a sense of unity with nature while listening to the birds chirping. The last stairs at Diamond Head are a bit tough, but that’s what makes it rewarding. The view of Honolulu and the ocean from the mountain is truly beautiful. This was my second time on Makapu'u Trail, and I couldn't forget the coastal views, so I decided to join again. At first, you might think the gradual slope is boring, but once you turn the first curve, the amazing scenery begins, so please be patient and keep climbing. The paved path is easy to walk on, but there’s no place to avoid direct sunlight, so a hat, rash guard, and water are essential. Next time, I definitely want to see whales, so I hope to join in the winter.

My husband and I recently booked the tickets and shuttle to hike Diamond Head as I was reading how you had to have reservations to hike unless you are local. This is a change since the first time I hiked it when you didn’t have to make reservations. We also didn’t rent a car this visit, so the shuttle was perfect as it dropped us off and picked us up at a designated time. We were given tips on the way there as well as instructions how to make the hike more enjoyable. I highly recommend going with this company as you have three times to choose from to be picked up without the dynamics of reserving tickets or driving there or finding parking which is limited. The shuttle takes you as close to the trailhead as possible

My wife, my nephew, and I participated together. We drove to the store with a rental car, and there was parking available right in front of the store. As soon as we started practicing, my wife and I, having done this six times before, got the hang of it quickly, and then it was my nephew's turn, who was riding a Segway for the first time! Thanks to the guide's precise advice and thorough explanations, he was riding smoothly in just a few minutes. After that, some older participants were practicing as well, and they managed to ride quite quickly too. Once the practice was over, we started the ride in the order of the guide leading, followed by the older participants, my nephew, my wife, and then me! Riding the Segway felt amazing with the wind in our faces! The guide also took photos at key points, which made my nephew very happy. Finally, we had some free riding time at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park, which was also a lot of fun! However, I was worried because rain clouds were approaching from the Manoa area, and eventually, it started to rain. It wasn't heavy enough to need ponchos, but it looked like it might pour, and with the strong wind, it got cold, so we decided to retreat. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't take our time returning, but even so, riding the Segway was fantastic! My nephew, who usually doesn't show much emotion, said he wanted to ride again next time!! He seemed to have a lot of fun. 練習を始めてすぐに私と妻はセグウェイ自体は6回目なのですぐにOKが出て次は初セグウェイの甥！

その後、少し年配の方も練習していましたが結構短時間で乗れていました。
練習が終わるとガイドさんを先頭に年配の方、甥、妻、私の順にライド開始！
セグウェイで走ると風がめちゃくちゃ気持ちいい！！
要所要所で撮影もしてくれて甥も喜んでいました。
最後にカカアコウォーターフロントパークの広場で自由ライド！
これもまた楽しいのです♪
が、マノア方面から雨雲が近づいて来ていたので心配していたのですがとうとう降って来ました。
ポンチョを着るほどの雨ではなかったものの強く振りそうなのと風が強く寒くなって来たので撤退です。
ゆっくりと帰れなかったのは少し残念でしたがそれを差し引いてもやはりセグウェイは最高です！
普段あまり感情を出さない甥も次もまた乗りたい！！
とかなり楽しかったようです。
セグウェイの楽しさに加え、ガイドさんのライド中の観光案内や丁寧かつフレンドリーな対応で尚更楽しめました。
ツアー後の駐車場の件も含め、この度は本当にありがとうございました。
お礼をいいに店に行きましたが不在でしたのでこの場をお借りして伝えさせていただきます。

We had great weather for the day. Diamond Head was a reasonably short hike with an amazing view of the island. Manoa falls was a nice hike through the jungle…was expecting a little more with the falls themselves. Overall great experience though.

We had 2 different drivers, one for DH and one for the waterfall. Both were excellent. They had waters for the end of the trip, and the waterfall driver had bug spray and walking sticks for everyone who needed them. They were both knowledgeable about the trails and gave great tips. Excellent!!

I was surprised at how easy it was to ride a Segway during my first experience.

It felt like I could go anywhere, even to places that seemed a bit far for a walk, just by leaning my weight in the direction I wanted to go.

It's perfect for walking!

In the end, I just followed the guide and covered quite a distance while seeing various sights.

Segways are the best!!!

I participated because I wanted to experience something that I can't enjoy in Japan during my first trip to Hawaii. It rained from the morning of the reserved day, and I received a call first thing in the morning from Genie, who suggested, "Since the weather is bad today, let's change it to tomorrow afternoon!" The change turned out to be a great decision, as the next day was clear and sunny! The staff were very polite and taught us well, and even though I was nervous, I was able to ride smoothly and had a very enjoyable two hours! It was fun to feel the wind. Genie was cute, kind, and the best! (＾＾) Since we were the first group this time, I want to join the Segway tour again with all my friends next time.

The tour was led by a bright and fun guide who was great at teaching! The course covered a lot, from paintings to the sea, and the explanations were easy to understand. It was really wonderful!

Both hikes to Diamond head and Manual falls were very good. Diamond head was more strenuous than Manoa falls. I challenged myself by taking the hardest route. Both tours offered water though the one at Diamond head was warm. Walking sticks were offered at Manoa falls which was helpful though I didn't use it. Due to a dry season, there was no falls; completely bone dry which was disappointing. Both drivers were on time, friendly, and informative. Overall, it was a really good self-guided hike and I would do it again but hopefully when the falls are actually flowing.

I highly recommend this tour we had a great time , It was very informative and we saw so many beautiful places . Our tour guide Stephanie was awesome, she made the tour fun and added some extra stops that we really appreciated . I would say that the hike at diamond head was harder then I thought it would be, but the view are worth it .
