The meeting place was easy to find, and traveling by car was comfortable. (Since it was quite a long ride and there were some rough roads, those who are prone to motion sickness might want to have some medication on hand.)

There were about 50 to 60 people on the boat, which was more than I expected. The MC created a lively atmosphere, making it a fun experience. The meal consisted of water, juice, and donuts, which were quite simple, and it was a self-service style. Some participants from other countries brought alcohol and snacks, and there didn't seem to be any restrictions on that, so if you want to enjoy your meal, it might be better to prepare something in advance.

As for the sandbar, it was initially cold due to the weather, and it didn't look very beautiful at first, but I thought it would be a shame not to try canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding, which turned out to be enjoyable. It seems that we were able to observe large fish while snorkeling!

At the end, the sun came out, and I was able to see the scenery I had imagined, which was great. It might just have been the day I experienced, but I thought that perhaps the temperature rises more in the afternoon than in the early morning.

Overall, the staff were friendly and fun, and I had a wonderful experience.

食事は水、ジュース、ドーナツという割と簡素なもので自分で取りに行くスタイルでした。他の国の参加者の方でお酒や軽食を持参している方がおり、特に禁止されている様子もなかったので、食事を楽しみたい方は自分で事前に用意したほうがいいかもしれません。

肝心のサンドバーははじめは天気の関係で寒くそこまで綺麗に見えなかったのですが、
せっかくだと思いカヌーやSUPに乗ってみることができて楽しかったです。シュノーケリングでは大きい魚を観察できたようです！

終わりぎわのタイミングで日がでてきて想像していた景色を見ることができたのでよかったです。体験した日だけなのかもしれませんがもしかしたら朝イチよりお昼からの方が気温も上がっていいのかも？と思いました。

総じてスタッフの方も親切で楽しく、とてもいい経験ができました。

The sunset and stargazing were both amazing. Especially the stargazing, as the moon wasn't out, allowing us to see the Milky Way clearly. The only complaint I have is that the van we used for transportation was full and quite cramped. The travel time was long, and the roads were bad, so I hope this can be improved. (The driver was also lamenting about it...)

I have visited the Big Island of Hawaii many times, but this time I participated because my child turned 16. I was impressed by the beauty of the stars, the vastness of the sky, and its size. They took family photos for us, and since we were the only Japanese people there, they spoke to us not only in English but also in Japanese. During the star explanation, they divided us into English and Japanese groups with the same tour company (we ended up having a private experience), which made it very easy to understand, humorous, and enjoyable. I'm glad I participated.

I made a reservation in Japan before departure without checking the tide table, but luckily, the water was shallow up to my knees, which was great. I wore my reef shoes from the room, and I stayed in them both on the boat and in the water. Additionally, due to my nearsightedness, I borrowed a prescription mask. Whether I could swim or use the snorkel was a different matter. I didn’t know how to hold the snorkel properly, and water kept coming in through the gaps, so I held onto a staff member's float who spoke Japanese, and we moved along together. I got used to it halfway through and was able to look underwater for longer periods. Every time we spotted a sea turtle, the staff member would say, "There’s a turtle," and I was able to see them about 7 or 8 times. Encountering many schools of fish and sea turtles was an emotional experience. My first time snorkeling, meeting sea turtles, and visiting the sandbar was a fun experience that I can't have in Japan. However, I think driving myself was enjoyable. We passed through several areas with standing water, going slowly to avoid splashing or intentionally driving in quickly, getting the inside of the car soaked. Overall, the breathtaking natural views that you can't see in Japan and the fun of driving a buggy that you can't experience in Japan were amazing!

The views were spectacular. Our tour guide was exceptional and knowledgeable. He thought of everything (e.g., hot tea, donuts, coats, gloves). He was patient with my teens and ensured all were comfortable and warm. We saw a lot of shooting stars in addition to Venus and several constellations. Pick up and drop off from the cruise ship were convenient. This was a once in a lifetime experience.

The price is a bit steep, but since I came all the way to Hawaii, I decided to participate without hesitation.

In the end, I think I spent my money wisely!

First of all, riding in a helicopter is something I rarely get to do, and the experience of the helicopter's sway was incredibly valuable.

I was able to fully enjoy views that I couldn't see from the ground, and I am very satisfied.

If I had one point to mention, it would be that if you're not good at English, it might be safer to request a Japanese-speaking driver, even if it incurs some additional fees.

We understood some of what was being said on the English tour, but the explanations about history and local information while actually seeing the sights made a big difference in how much we absorbed.

料金は少し値をはりますが、ハワイまできたのでそこは思い切って参加してみました。

結果いいお金の使い方をしたと思っています！

まずヘリに乗ることなんてなかなかない中でヘリの揺れなんかも大変貴重な体験でした。

景色も地上からは見れない景色を存分に楽しめることが出来て満足しています。

一点だけあるとすると、やはり英語が苦手であれば多少追加料金はかかりますが、日本人の運転手にお願いしたほうが無難だと思います。

我々は英語のツアーで多少は言ってることがわかるものの、やはり歴史やその土地の情報なども実際に見ながら説明してくれるので吸収力が違うと思います。

The English was easy to understand, and it was a safe experience with a small group. The horseback riding experience in the beautiful sea of the North Shore was incredibly moving. The riding time was 1.5 hours, and it was more cost-effective than other tours with Japanese-speaking guides and transportation. We used hui car share for transportation, so after horseback riding, we were able to leisurely enjoy food walking in Haleiwa. It became a very good memory. Next time, I would like to try sunset horseback riding.

Sorry in advance. Not much of a writer here but we really wanted to share our experience.

Pros:
- The whole team were amazing! They screamed aloha spirit. My personal favorite was the blonde gentleman who spoke Japanese and Korean.

- live band was a hit! Both singers were amazing!

- food was basic but good. It was nicely plated as well which I was NOT expecting. Center piece was a nice touch.

- Really good bang for your buck with all the activities.

Con:

Not really reflective of the crew but the sandbar was not as shallow as I expected. Obviously it depends on the ocean and tides etc.

I saw in the notes that there were people in sandals, so I thought it would be fine to go in sandals, but it wasn't. I ended up buying shoes at a souvenir shop... Please be careful.

I didn't request a shuttle and took the bus from Ala Moana Shopping Center. Along the way, an employee wearing a Kualoa T-shirt got on, which gave me a strange sense of reassurance. There were already Jurassic Park-like mountains on the bus ride, and I was amazed. The bus was extremely cold!!

When it was time for horseback riding, we gathered at the barn. When they asked about my English skills and I said I wasn't good at it, they showed us a video for Japanese speakers on a monitor. There were two other groups of customers besides us, making a total of six people for the ride. It was fun to walk through the mountains, across the fields, and see the ocean, but the main attraction, Jurassic Park, never appeared! It seems there are routes like that... I was really disappointed.

I had enough time to take pictures and videos with my smartphone.

注意事項に記載されていたことですが写真を見るとサンダルの人もいたのでまあ大丈夫だろうとサンダルで行きましたがだめでした。お土産屋さんで靴を買うことに。。。お気をつけください。

送迎は頼まず、アラモアナショッピングセンターからバスで行きました。途中でクアロアのTシャツを着た従業員の方が乗ってきたのでなんとも言えない安心感。
バスの道中ですでにジュラシックパークっぽい山がありおお～～～ってなってました。バスは異常に寒いです！！
乗馬の時間になったので小屋に集まり、英語は？と聞かれ苦手というとモニターで日本人用のビデオを見せてくれました。
私達の他に2組お客さんがいて計6人で出発。山の中を歩いたり草原を歩いたり海が見えたりと景色が変わるのは楽しかったですが、、肝心のジュラシックパークがいつまで経ってもでてこない！！そういうルートもあるようです。。すごく残念でした。

This tour was amazing in every way!!! One of our family's favorite tours of all time!! Yoshi was an excellent driver on a rather scary road! Super safe and comfortable ride! Once we were at the top, he did the BEST job of making it a once in a lifetime experience for us. Shared lots of great information, pointed out just where to look at the perfect times. Had chairs, blankets, donuts, hot drinks, coats, you name it...he had it! Took the coolest pictures of our family during the sunset, overlooking the crater, and under the stars! The stargazing was amazing and he was especially great with our youngest as he had a step stool so she could look in the telescope easily and he took extra time with her to be sure she saw all the stars and the moon! If you do one adventure on Maui be sure it is this!!

Yoshi provides such an amazing tour and has every detail down to make sure you have the most amazing and comfortable experience. The trek up Haleakala was amazing slowly climbing above the clouds. The views were indescribable and the sunset views are going to be tough to match. The stargazing was a whole other experience that you just have to try for yourself. So grateful to have had this experience and so glad we chose Maui All Stars Stargazing!

Expeditions Lanai Ferry Boat Ticket from Maui | Round-Trip & One-Way Rides

This was a great day trip! The ferry was great and we really enjoyed Lanai, especially the cat sanctuary! There is also a beautiful beach, close to the harbour. The shuttle bus service on Lanai was excellent!
