If you're visiting the Kona side of the Big Island, this dinner cruise is a MUST! It has it all: beautiful coastal views as you sail down to the Captain Cook monument, knowledgable guide who provides interesting historical information about the island (my husband and I love to learn new things), friendly/service-oriented staff, great dinner buffet, and a free premium drink! It was so relaxing and not too short of a cruise (but also not too long). We had a great time! Definitely would do it again.

I was very impressed by the story shared by Mr. Yamauchi, which made me re-recognize the fact that I am alive here now. I was also moved by his admirable way of living. I wish him continued good health and even more success for the sake of travelers from Japan. The starry sky and the Milky Way were beautiful. Since there were only a few people (5) in one car, we could take our time, which was nice. The bento was just okay... maybe the food at Mauna Kea was tastier... It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

There was a mix-up with the arrangements, and we were guided on a different course than the one we had signed up for, which was disappointing, but we still made great memories.

I travel to Oahu every year, but this was my second time on Maui. This time, my goal was to see the stars at Haleakalā. I received polite replies to detailed inquiries about the probability of seeing the stars via email in advance, which made me feel at ease despite the nature of the experience. However, due to a dispute in the U.S. Congress, we couldn't reach the summit (3055m) and had to view the stars from around 2000m at the entrance. Nevertheless, the night sky and the stars were incredibly beautiful, and I felt the smallness of myself in the universe. Above all, I was moved by the storytelling and presentation by the owner, Mr. Yamauchi. There may be a relationship between the tour company and guests, but the thoughtful attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy the short time we had. From the hotel pickup at 3 PM to heading to Haleakalā, we stopped at places like tea time and gift shops that individuals wouldn't typically visit. I want to go again next year! I highly recommend this tour to everyone; it’s a life-changing experience. ...Studying the stars in advance might make it even more enjoyable.

毎年オアフ島へは旅行で行ってますが、マウイ島は２回目。今回はハレアカラの星を見るのが目的でした。事前にメールで見られる確率は何パーセントだのなんだの細かい問い合わせにも丁寧な返信をいただき、自然相手にもかかわらず安心して行ったのですが、米国議会の揉め事で山頂（3055ｍ）まで行けず、入口の2000ｍ付近での鑑賞となりました。しかし、夜空も星も素晴らしくきれいで、宇宙の中の自分の小ささを感じました。何よりもオーナー山内さんの語り、演出に感動です。ツアー会社とゲストとの関係はあるかもしれませんが、短い時間に気持ちを和ませて参加できる、細かい心配りは最高でした。ＰＭ３時にホテルピックアップからハレアカラに向かうまで、ティータイムやギフトショップなど個人では行けない場所へも立ち寄ってくれます。来年も又行きたい！そして、皆さんにも是非参加いただきたい、人生観が変わるツアーです。・・・事前に星を勉強していくと一層楽しいかも。

This is just a terrific event to attend. The chief and his extended family put on a terrific and funny show designed to entertain all in attendance from couples to families. Many pre-show activities bring you inside the culture of the islands. The food is tasty and plenty of it to enjoy. The staff is very hospitable. Highly recommend.

Chief was amazing, interacted with audience throughout the entire show. Show was HIGHLY entertaining. View from Luau was stunning, Dancing was incredibly, singing was awesome. Only downside of entire show was that the food was just okay. Pork was good, pineapple cake was good, everything else was just okay. However I would highly recommend this show even if the food was awful, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

It was a very fantastic and romantic night!

The top deck is amazing for catching sight of the city line and it's a great place to spend a romantic evening. You have a wonderful view of Diamond Head crater and the beautiful shores of Waikiki.

I chose the 3 star dinner cruise, food was great and the staff were entertaining and very professional. As soon as you arrive at the Aloha Tower the staff will take you onto the boat and direct you to the appropriate floor according to the package you select.

As you enjoy your dinner, they have a 2 man band playing local island music and latter they have a jazz duo with a saxophonist. At the end of the night that was a fun Polynesian show and they got everyone in the room up on their feet and dancing.

I would recommend this cruise to everyone, specially for the one looking forward to a romantic night!

I participated because I really wanted to see dolphins in Hawaii for the first time. I even got to see a baby dolphin, and snorkeling was comfortable. The ocean was so beautiful and enjoyable that I lost track of time. However, I wonder if it was because I couldn't sleep the night before? I got really seasick (￣O￣;).

If there's a next time, I want to participate after getting a good night's sleep (￣^￣)ゞ.

初ハワイにて、どうしてもイルカに会いたくて参加しました。
イルカの赤ちゃんにも会えましたし、シュノーケリングも快適でした。もう、海が綺麗すぎて、楽しくて時間が過ぎるのを忘れました。

The stars were wonderful, but I was also able to feel the sun, earth, light, and shadow, and it made me realize once again how amazing it is to be alive. There was a slight sense that he was immersed in his own world, but his desire to ensure the guests enjoyed themselves was clearly conveyed. I participated in the tour on September 24 (Tuesday). It was a "Happy Vacation!" with just the two of us girls. The stargazing was amazing! The Milky Way, which I saw for the first time, was truly beautiful, and just looking at it made me feel so happy!! After moving to Oahu, I still can't forget Haleakalā. The stargazing in Maui is indeed wonderful!

I really resonated with what Mr. Yamape said: "Since our customers have come all the way here, I want to do everything I can for them." I believe that having a sincere attitude towards customers is truly important in any job.

With the countless sparkling stars we saw in Maui in our hearts, I hope to spend each day feeling happy. Thank you so much!! I will definitely go back to Maui to see the stargazing again☆

We used this service for our honeymoon. I was actually looking for a sunrise at Haleakalā online, but unfortunately, all the dates were fully booked, so I had to change to a sunset. Among various options, this was the only one available, and I was glad to secure a reservation, eagerly looking forward to the day. The guide was fantastic, and I was overwhelmed by the number of stars I had never seen before. I saw the Milky Way, Orihime and Hikoboshi, and a shooting star for the first time in my life. I had never been interested in stars before, but it was truly moving. My husband and I were really satisfied with the sunset! Thank you very much!

I participated in a tour that included dolphin watching, snorkeling, and a barbecue lunch, and it was great. The participants were all foreigners, and the staff were kind, cheerful, and a lot of fun, making for an amazing half-day experience.

I was worried about getting seasick, but it was so enjoyable that I didn't have time to feel seasick at all, and I was completely fine.

The meeting point at the pier was very close to the hotel, which was very convenient.

The hamburgers grilled by the staff were the best!

At the end of December last year, we visited Maui and Oahu for our honeymoon. I wanted to see the sunset, so I requested to join the Haleakalā tour in Maui. When I called the hotel, they informed me that the weather was going to be tough... But both my husband and I wanted to go regardless of whether we could see anything! That was our answer. When I conveyed this, they replied, "Of course."

On the day of the tour, they picked us up, took us to the post office, and brought us to a yogurt ice cream shop. Since it was just the two of us, we had great conversations, and there were plenty of bathroom breaks. Despite being told that the chances of seeing the sunset were slim, we were able to see it! At the summit, we took wonderful photos, and on the way back, we were treated to warm tea, a bento box, and they provided chairs, blankets, and jackets for us. When I looked up, the starry sky was breathtaking, and I couldn't help but shed a few tears.

My husband, who is shy, also seemed to have a great time talking. Even though it was a tour, it felt very personal, as if we were being taken around by someone close to us. 人見知りの主人もお話出来たこととてもいい思い出だったみたいです。
ツアーなのにツアー感を感じず、とっても身近な方に連れていって頂いてる感じでした。
今年の11月に子供が生まれるので、今度は３人で参加したいと思います。
その時まで体に気をつけてツアー続けて下さいね。

This was an amazing sunset dinner cruise for my girlfriend and I. We had attended this cruise as a birthday gift to her, and it felt like we were on a honeymoon. This cruise is meant for couples because it is amazingly breathtaking with the view of Diamond Head crater, the deep blue ocean, and the beautiful shores of Waikiki. Then to top it all off with a sunset upon our west coast beaches.

Initially, we considered driving there ourselves, but choosing this tour was definitely the right decision!

The hiking trail was longer than we imagined, so driving would have been tough, but more importantly, the owner of Maui All Stars, Mr. Yamauchi, was fantastic.

I was torn between sunrise and sunset, but considering the clarity of the air, he strongly recommended sunset! We were able to enjoy the starry sky at a leisurely pace.

Mr. Yamauchi is very knowledgeable about the stars and provided various telescopes, big and small. He shared interesting and engaging stories that entertained both kids and adults.

The heartfelt services, such as the background music during stargazing, chairs, bento boxes, and warm tea, left us truly impressed.

He was also skilled with digital cameras and made thoughtful arrangements for our photos. We got some amazing shots at the summit!

In any case, if you're going to Haleakalā, I highly recommend participating in this tour.

If I ever go to Maui again, I would love to do it once more.

登山道は想像以上に長い道のりだったので、運転はつらかっただろうという理由もありますが、それ以上に、マウイオールスターズのオーナーのヤマウチさんは素晴らしかったからです。

サンライズかサンセットかで迷っていたのですが、空気の澄み具合を考えると、絶対サンセットがおすすめ！とのことでした。星空もゆっくり楽しめました。

ヤマウチさんは星空に大変詳しくて、大小様々な望遠鏡を用意してくれた上、子どもたちも大人も楽しめるように、丁寧で面白いお話を聞かせてくれました。

星空観測の時のＢＧＭや椅子、幕の内弁当やあたたかいお茶など、心のこもったサービスで感激しっぱなしでした。

デジカメの扱いにも精通していて、いろいろ配慮して撮影してくれました。
山頂では、驚きの写真も！

とにかく、ハレアカラに行くなら、ぜひ参加してほしいです。

私も、もしまたマウイに行くことがあったら、もう一度行きたいです。

We participated as a family with our three children, aged 11, 8, and 5.

The snorkeling location was quite deep (over 10-15 meters?), and since our youngest child couldn't swim, we had some concerns. However, they provided children's life jackets, and with the floaties we brought, the kids were able to float and enjoy themselves. The older two were initially scared, but as they got used to it, they enjoyed snorkeling in the clear sea. The staff were also very friendly, and the freshly made hamburgers were delicious. We even got to see dolphins along the way, making it a very satisfying tour overall.

Since the boat ride to the snorkeling location is quite long, it's advisable for those prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication beforehand (the older child got seasick). If you have small children, bringing floaties would enhance their enjoyment as well.

Despite a few challenges, it was a very enjoyable tour, and I can definitely recommend it for families.

シュノーケリングする場所は結構深く（10～15ｍ以上？）、
下の子供は泳ぐことができない為、多少不安もありましたが、
子供用のライフジャケットも完備されており、持参した浮き輪を使って
ぷかぷかと浮かんで楽しんでいました。
上の２人も最初は怖がっていましたが、慣れてくるとシュノーケルを使って
透き通った海を楽しんでいました。
スタッフの方も非常に親切で、焼き立てのハンバーガも美味しかったです。
途中イルカにも会うことができ、ツアーとしては非常に満足できるものでした。

シュノーケリングする場所まで結構乗船する為、船酔いする方は
酔い止めを必ず飲んでいった方が良いです。（上の子は酔いました）
また小さな子供がいるようであれば、浮き輪も持参した方が楽しめると
思います。

いろいろとありましたが、ツアーとしては非常に楽しめるもので
家族連れの方にも十分おすすめできます。

I participated on July 27. As the sunset approached, the twilight turned into pitch darkness, making it so dark that I couldn't see my feet at all.

However, when I looked up, there was a sky full of stars... I enjoyed a stargazing walk while listening to Mr. Yamauchi's commentary (*^_^*).

I will definitely participate again next time (＾◇＾).

We participated as a couple in our 40s, with a child and my mother in her 70s who cannot speak English. The boat has two levels; the first floor has shaded areas and tables, but all the seats were "reserved," making it difficult to find a place to sit. We were the only Japanese family, and all announcements were in English. There was one men's restroom, one women's restroom, and one unisex restroom.

When we first arrived, there was a small breakfast buffet with about two types of muffin-like bread and fruit. Water, coffee, and soft drinks were free, but alcohol cost extra.

Right after departure, we were able to see a pod of dolphins swimming quite close to us, which was thrilling. There were no sea turtles, but flying fish were gliding through the air like birds, which was exciting! Upon reaching the snorkeling point, everyone gathered on the first floor for a detailed safety briefing about the snorkeling area. There seemed to be a class for those snorkeling for the first time. On the way back to the port, we were thrilled to see another pod of dolphins. The foreign participants were friendly and approachable, and I was particularly surprised that the customers were kind to my mother, who was flustered and unable to speak English, offering her their place in line. I thought this aspect of foreign culture was truly wonderful. By the way, my elderly mother stayed on the boat without swimming, but she said she had a great time without any worries.

After the tour, there were many small shops like stalls at the port, and I unexpectedly bought a Kona coffee bag that I had wanted for a long time, which was a nice bonus. I was filled with anxiety before signing up, but I would love to participate again.

ランチは、パン、ハンバーグ、野菜、果物などがバイキング形式に並んでいて、好きな具を自分で取ってはさんで食べる方式でした。青い空の下、とてもおいしいお味でした。
12時半に港に着くのかと思っていたら、シュノーケル終了が12時半でした。水温もそれほど低くなく、海が深くてたくさんの魚を見る事ができました。港に戻る途中、またイルカの群れを見る事ができて感激しました。参加している外国の人たちも、気さくに声をかけてくださったり、特に驚いたのは、英語が全然できなくておろおろしている母に、お客さん達が優しく接してくださり順番を譲ってくださったりしたことです。こういった外国の文化は本当に素晴らしいと思いました。ちなみに高齢の母は、泳がずにずっと船の上にいましたが、気兼ねなく楽しかったと話していました。ツアーが終わって、港の停泊所にはたくさんの屋台？のような小物のお店が軒を連ねていて、以前から欲しかったコナコーヒーのバッグを思いがけず購入することができ、二度特でした。申し込む前は不安でいっぱいでしたが、また参加したいです。
