We participated as a family.

My 5-year-old daughter was a bit scared at first, but as she touched and kissed the dolphins, she completely fell in love with them.

The stuffed animal we bought on the way back has the same name as the dolphin we played with, "Maui," and she takes good care of it.

We would like to participate again.

親子で参加しました。

５歳の娘は最初おっかなびっくりでしたが、イルカに触れたり、キスしたりするうちに、すっかりイルカが大好きになりました。

帰りに買ったぬいぐるみに、一緒に遊んだイルカの名前と同じ「マウイ」という名前をつけて可愛がっています。

また、参加したいと思っています。

At first, I was scared because the manta rays were so close, but I got used to it!

I thought something was bumping into my face, and when I looked closely, it was a huge amount of plankton?! It was amazing!

Even though there were so many, the two manta rays quickly devoured them all!

The view of the sunset in front of the office is beautiful! ☆

マンタが近くてはじめは怖かったけど、慣れました！

顔にプツプツとなにかあたるなぁ~って思ってよく見たら大量のプランクトン？！？！すごかった~

大量にいたのに２匹のマンタがあっという間に食べ尽くしてしまいました~

事務所の前は、サンセットがきれいですよ~☆

We went on our honeymoon.
On the day, there were only four Japanese people, including us, and just one Japanese staff member.

They were very kind and taught us a lot, like saying we could be the first to enter if we lined up here, and that it would be better to do this first. They were very considerate.

I'm not very good at swimming, but since there are wetsuits available, even if I get carried away while snorkeling, they monitor us from above in a canoe, guiding us to make sure we don't stray too close to the island.

新婚旅行で行きました。
当日は、日本人が私たち含めて４名しかいなかったので、
日本人スタッフは一人。

とっても親切にしてくださって、ここに並んでたら一番に入れるよ~とか、これは先にしておいたほうがいいよ~ってたくさん教えてくれたし、気を使ってくれました。


あまり泳ぎが得意ではないけど、ウェットスーツもあるし、
シュノーケルに夢中で流されても、カヌーで上から監視してくれてるので、ちゃんとはぐれないように、島に近づき過ぎないように誘導してくれます。

WOW is all I can say. Took the kids and the wife to this tour, and we are from a landlocked state, so all kinds of any sea critters are new to us...but nothing, and I mean nothing could have beat getting an eyeful of the mantas gliding all around so close up. The kids went wild for it, and even my wife wasn't scared a bit. Overall it was truly a great experience, and one I would tell others to for sure try out. Families will love it and I even saw some single people just out enjoying the trip as well. Its really for everyone

We Took This Snorkeling Trip Over The Molokini Crater Because We Wanted Something Different And Less Crowded. Well This Trip Was Right On The Nose. Our Guide Peter Was AWESOME. He Was Very People Friendly And Knowledgable About The Things He Showed Us And Talked About, It Was Nice To Not Be Sitting On An Over Crowded Boat But Instead In A Kayak With A Group Of 7 Other People. 4 Kayaks Total. We Went To 2 Different Snorkel Sites And Were Out On The Water For A Total Of About 3 Hours Or So.We Saw MANY Turtles And Lots Of Different Fish, Peter Even Showed Us An Octopus And Let Us Hold And Touch It. My Husband And I Really Enjoyed Ourselves On This Trip And Would Totally Recommend It To Anyone Thats Wanting Something Less Crowded. Sorry I Dont Have Any Photos, Were Still Here In Hawaii!

There were a lot of whale families. The prices are reasonable, and meals are included, so families traveling to Hawaii during this time should definitely participate. My family was very pleased.

クジラのファミリーが沢山いました。
金額も安いし　食事もついているので家族連れでこの時期にハワイに行かれる方は絶対に参加したほうがいいです。
家族にとても喜ばれました。

This was one of the best activities one could imagine to do..well worth the cost..everyone enjoyed themselves...we could snorkle or use the "BOB"...staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. A must do activity for everyone...even a novice can do it...for all ages. My friend who isn't a great swimmer and never snorkled before enjoyed himself immensly...excellent !!!

I had a great time.
It's not often that I get to enter a sea where my feet can't touch the bottom, so I was a bit scared at first, but once I got in, it felt amazing, and I wanted to swim forever.

The boat ride was fast, and the wind felt really nice.

I was very satisfied to see both dolphins and sea turtles.

I have always wanted to swim with dolphins, and this tour made it happen! The staff member (the principal of Dolphin Middle School) was bright and very friendly, sharing valuable information about Hawaii while we were in the car, making the ride enjoyable.

Once on board, the captain communicated with other boats via radio to get information about dolphin sightings, and we moved around in pursuit of them. This added to the excitement and made it fun.

When we finally encountered a pod of dolphins and got to swim with them, it was thrilling and moving! Moreover, we were lucky enough to encounter them twice, and we even got to swim with sea turtles. The sea turtles had beautiful eyes and their movements were adorable! The ocean and sky were both beautiful, and I was very satisfied with the experience.

以前からイルカと泳いでみたい！と思っていたのが今回のツーアで叶いました！
スタッフのお姉さん（イルカ中学の校長先生）は明るくて、とても気さくな方で移動の車中でもハワイのガイドをためになる生情報を入れながら楽しく話していただけました。
乗船してからはイルカ出没ポイントの情報を船長さん？が他の船の方から無線で連絡をもらいながら、イルカを追って、あちこち移動。これも臨場感があって、楽しかったです。
ついにイルカの群れと遭遇し、一緒に泳げた時は興奮と感動でした！！しかも、ラッキーなことに２度も遭遇、おまけに海亀と泳ぐ事もできました。海亀も眼がきれいで、しぐさが可愛かった！海も空もきれいで大変満足出来ました。

We cruised until we reached the point where we boarded the submarine! The inside of the submarine was a bit cramped, and the windows were smaller than I expected, but I got to see the wreckage of a Japanese airplane that sank long ago and also spotted some sea turtles, experiencing something out of the ordinary.

潜水艦に乗るまではクルーズし、潜水艦に乗る地点まで行きます！潜水艦内は少し狭く窓は思ったより小さいですが、昔沈没した日本の飛行機遺跡を見たり、海がめを見たり非日常を味わいましたよ。

The submarine tour felt a bit lacking in visibility and there seemed to be fewer schools of fish for someone like me who enjoys diving. However, the scenery during the boat ride to the submarine was amazing! Seeing Diamond Head and the hotel zone from the sea is such a wonderful experience.

潜水艦での周遊は、ダイビングをする私にはちょっと透明度が悪く魚の群れが少なかった様に感じます。しかし潜水艦に乗るまでに船で移動するのですが、その景色が最高！海からダイヤモンドヘッド、ホテルゾーンを見るってこんなにいいものなのですね。

The dolphins are so cute! ☆☆
I recommend it for those seeking relaxation.
However, the waiting time and the wait for the bus back are a bit long...

とにかくイルカがカワイイ☆☆
癒しを求めている人にお勧めです。
ただ、待ち時間と帰りのバスの待ち時間がちょっと長いかなあ・・・

I participated in the Dolphin Encounter and Ray Encounter.

The Dolphin Encounter was conducted in groups divided by language (Japanese/English). Everyone enters the pool wearing life jackets. The children initially clung to their parents since they couldn't touch the bottom, but soon they were floating on their own. The instructor was cheerful and provided explanations, making it a lot of fun.

The Ray Encounter is more about feeding fish (lettuce) while snorkeling rather than touching the rays. When the rays whimsically come to the shallow area, we move there to touch them, which can be a bit hectic. They provided staff who could speak Japanese, so the children were able to understand the explanations. However, since you have to stay still to feed the fish, it might be challenging for small children.

Both activities required signing a consent form. For children, their names are written in the section under the adult's consent form. Depending on the bus arrival time, especially for the first morning session, it can get a bit hectic, so I think it's better to fill out the forms on the shuttle bus. In fact, our bus had to wait about 20 minutes for a group of six who didn’t arrive at their pickup time, and due to traffic regulations related to the Aloha Festival, we still hadn't arrived by the check-in time for the Dolphin Encounter. We made it in time for the start, but after arriving, we wanted to use the restroom and put our valuables in a locker, which made things a bit rushed.

The locker for valuables costs $2. You can bring towels and a change of clothes to the benches by the pool. Be careful around the shower and changing area as there are many mosquitoes.

The entire park is smaller than I expected, and while there are a few shows, they are also smaller than anticipated. It's rare to be able to feed sea turtles, but it seems you can buy food at the gift shop and feed them at the designated time. There aren’t any staff members around the sea turtles to provide explanations.

ドルフィンエンカウンターとレイエンカウンターに参加しました。

ドルフィンエンカウンターは、言語（日本語／英語）でグループに分かれて行われました。全員ライフジャケットを着てプールに入ります。子供達は足がつかないので、始めは親にしがみついていましたが、そのうちプカプカ自分たちで浮かんでいました。インストラクターのお姉さんも陽気に説明してくれるので、とても楽しかったです。
レイエンカウンターは、エイに触るというよりも、シュノーケルをしながら魚にエサ（レタス）をあげる方がメインとなります。エイが気まぐれで浅瀬にやってきたときだけ、その瞬間、浅瀬に自分たちも移動して触るので少し忙しいです。日本語のできるスタッフを付けてくださり、子供達も説明を理解することが出来ました。ただエサあげは、じっとしていなければならないので、小さいお子さんには厳しいと思います。

どちらも同意書にサインが必要でした。子供の分は、大人の同意書の下の欄に、子供の名前を書きます。バスの到着時間にもよると思いますが、特に朝一番の回はバタバタするので、送迎のバスの中で書いてしまうほうがいいかと思いました。実際、私たちのバスは、６名のグループがピックアップの時間になってもいらっしゃらず２０分ぐらい待ち、更にアロハフェスティバルの関係で交通規制もかかっており、ドルフィンエンカウンターのチェックイン時間には、まだ到着していませんでした。スタートには間に合いましたけど、到着後トイレにも行きたいし、貴重品はロッカーに入れたいしで、バタバタでした。
貴重品をいれるロッカーは＄２です。バスタオル・着替えは、プールわきのベンチまで持っていけます。シャワーおよび簡易更衣室近辺は、蚊が多いので注意が必要です。

パーク全体は思っていた以上にこじんまりとしており、いくつかショーもあるのですが、これも思っていた以上にこじんまり。海亀にえさをあげたり出来るのは珍しいですが、ギフトショップでエサを買ってきて、時間になったらあげていいようです。海亀の周りに説明員がいるわけでもありませんん。

I thought it was something you can't do often, so I decided to participate in swimming with dolphins. Just seeing them up close was moving, but I was very satisfied to be able to touch them and swim together.

イルカに捕まって泳ぐなんてそうそうできることじゃない！と思って参加しました。
近くで見るだけでも感動ですが、触れたり、一緒に泳いだりと大変満足しました。

I'm not comfortable with normal scuba gear, so this was a good way to be able to get under the water and see the marine life off Hawaii.

The scooters were not fast, but that is due to safety.

Everyone gets a diver that looks after them and can go under with their partner/friend. I always felt I was in good hands.

The experience lasted 20 minutes, which is not much. But to allow several people to go down without using several days, one doesn't have a choice. One would always want more time with something that is enjoyable.

A bit pricey, but safety costs, and the value was everything considered, not bad.

I participated in my first trip to Hawaii with my mother and aunt. Since it was my first time riding a boat in Hawaii, I was filled with excitement, but perhaps I had too many expectations... It was a bit disappointing. All I saw were the spouts and part of the tail of a whale. However, the boat did move to follow the whales, so I could feel that they were trying to entertain the guests. Since we are dealing with wild animals, it's all a matter of luck.

初めてのハワイ旅行の母と叔母と一緒に参加
ハワイで船に乗るのが初めてというのもあって、期待に胸を膨らませすぎていたせいか、ちょっと期待はずれ・・・・
見えたのは　クジラの潮吹きと尾びれの一部。
でも、船はクジラを追って移動してくれるので、お客様を楽しませようとしている姿勢は感じられました。
野生の動物相手ですから、こればっかりは運任せですね。

Very murky water not much to see, sub time was almost an hour off. Disapointed

My daughter expressed a desire to interact with dolphins, and since it was a rare opportunity, we both signed up for it. My parents accompanied us as spectators.

In the morning, we almost missed the bus because we got the pickup location wrong.

As soon as we got off the bus, we changed into our swimsuits and headed to the pool where the dolphins were waiting. After listening to the guide's explanation, we entered the pool.

The dolphins came very close, and we were able to touch their backs and bellies. Each of us had the precious experience of kissing and shaking hands with the dolphins.

After it was over, we changed and freely explored the park. I bought a photo that was displayed in the gift shop; it turned out really well.

Since we signed up for an early morning session, we returned to the hotel early as well. After that, we were able to leisurely go shopping and have dinner, which was great.

私も滅多にない機会なので、二人で申込みしました。
両親は見学者として同行。

朝、ピックアップ場所を間違えてしまい、あやうく
バスに乗れなくなるところでした。

バスを降りるとすぐに水着に着替え、イルカの待つ
プールへ。
ガイドさんのお話を聞き、プールに入りました。

イルカがとても近くに来てくれて、背中やお腹を
触ることができました。
一人ずつ、イルカとチューしたり握手したりとても
貴重な体験でした。

終わった後は着替えて、園内を自由に見て回りました。
グッズショップで先ほどの写真が飾ってあったので
買いました。すごくよく撮れています。

朝の早い時間で申し込んだのでホテルに戻ってくる時間も早かったです。
その後、ゆっくり買い物や夕食に行けたのでよかったです。

I had a really great time. It became a wonderful memory.

本当に楽しかったです。いい思い出になりました。

Day 3 on Oahu

I finally got to experience swimming with dolphins. In Japan, while you can touch them, you can't swim with them, so this was a precious experience.

My husband is a big dolphin lover☆
Although he's not very good at swimming, the instructors at Sea Life Park explained everything carefully, and we had a great time.

Since it was during a show, it took place in a different pool, but on the contrary, we were able to enjoy various experiences at a leisurely pace.

My husband was also very happy♪

It became a wonderful memory for our honeymoon.

オアフ島滞在３日目

念願のイルカと一緒に泳ぐ体験。日本では、触ることは出来ても、一緒に泳ぐことは出来なかったので、貴重な体験でした。

ダンナ様は大のイルカ好き☆
でも、あんまり泳ぎが得意ではないけど、シーライフパークではインストラクターの方々が丁寧に説明してくれて、とても楽しめました。

ショーの最中の体験だったので、別のプールで行われたけど、逆にゆっくりといろんな体験をさせてもらいました。

ダンナ様も大喜び♪

とても良いハネムーンの思い出になりました。

I experienced it for the first time. At first, I was really worried about whether I could swim with the dolphins, but no one made any mistakes, and everyone was able to swim together! However, the explanation before starting was only in English, so it was a bit difficult to understand. Also, I felt that the distance we could swim with the dolphins was a bit short. It might be because they are animals, even though they are domesticated, and there could be risks involved... I thought it would have been better if we could swim a little longer.

Lastly, you can purchase photos and DVDs of your experience swimming with the dolphins, so it was a very good experience as a memory. I would like to participate again if I have the opportunity.

初めて体験しました。
最初は本当にイルカと一緒に泳げるのか不安でしたが、誰ひとり失敗はなく、みんな一緒に泳げていました！
ただ、開始前の説明が英語のみだったので、少し分かりにくかったです。
あとは、イルカと一緒に泳げる距離が少し短く感じました。飼育されているとはいえ、動物なので危険を伴うためかもしれませんが...。
もう少し長い距離を泳げたらより良かったなぁと思いました。

最後に一緒に泳いでいる写真やDVDを購入できるので思い出としてはとても良い体験でした。
機会があったらまた参加したいと思います。

Floating in the night sea for 45 minutes while being tossed by the waves, even while holding onto something, takes quite a bit of stamina. I wondered if I really needed to wear a life jacket. The day we went, the waves might have been a bit rough.

I took motion sickness medication, but the waves were so rough that I got seasick and returned to the boat a little earlier than others. At the very least, it's a good idea to remember some English like "I wanna go back to the boat. I'm tired." The staff will help you when returning, but for the few meters until you grab the rope, you'll have to swim on your own in open water, which could be tough if you're not a strong swimmer... I think it's better to return with a bit of energy left. It was a more demanding activity than I expected.

The manta rays came quite close, which was great. Since seaweed and debris can get tangled in your hair while floating, wearing a swim cap helps prevent that and also makes the mask straps more comfortable. The English explanations weren't difficult, so you'll be fine.

何かにつかまりながらとはいえ、夜の海で波に揉まれながら45分浮いているのは、結構体力がいります。救命胴衣は着けなくていいのかな？と思う位でした。私たちが利用した日は、少し波が荒かったのかもしれません。

酔い止めを飲んで行きましたが、波が荒くて酔ってしまい、他の人より少し早く船に戻りましたが、少なくとも"I wanna go back to the boat. I'm tired."位の英語は覚えていった方がいいです。戻る時はスタッフが手伝ってくれますが、ロープにつかまるまでの数mは、何もない所を自力で泳ぐことになるので、カナヅチだと厳しいかも...少し余力を残した状態で戻った方がいいと思います。思っていたよりお気楽ではないアクティビティでした。

マンタそのものは、すぐ近くまで来てくれて良かったです。海に浮いている藻や屑が髪に絡まるため、水泳用の帽子をかぶっておくと、引っ掛かりにくいし、マスクのゴムも痛くないです。英語の説明は、難しい事は言っていないので、大丈夫です。

We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in September with seven family members. It was my first experience wearing a wetsuit, using a snorkel and fins, and encountering wild dolphins. I'm already looking back at the photos of my mother’s joyful smile underwater.

I truly appreciate the help from YUMIKO. Without her thoughtfulness, my mother wouldn't have been able to swim as much or enjoy herself as much. Thank you very much.

母が９月で８０歳になるお祝いに家族７人で参加しました。
ウェットスーツを着るのも、シュノーケルや足ひれをつけるのも、野生のイルカに出会えたのも、何もかも初体験。母の嬉しそうな水中での笑顔の写真を帰宅して早速見返しています。
スタッフのユミコさんには、本当にお世話になりました。ユミコさんのお気遣いがなければ、母は、あんなに泳げなかったし楽しめなかったと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

I have visited Sea Life Park many times, but it was my first time interacting with dolphins. It was so much fun!! Getting a foot push from a dolphin is a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. If you go, definitely give it a try. I highly recommend it.

シーライフパークには何度も足を運んでいたけどイルカと触れ合うのは初めてでした。すっ～～～ごく楽しかった！！
イルカにフットプッシュしてもらったのは一生の思い出です。行かれる方はぜひやってみてください。おすすめです。

As soon as I put my head in the water at the instructor's call, I was enveloped by the sounds of countless dolphins! It was such a mystical experience.

インストラクターの頭をつけてー!という掛け声で頭を海につけたとたん、無数のいるかの鳴き声につつまれました！とっても神秘的な時間でした。

I want to swim with dolphins someday☆
I've always dreamed of it.
On the day I had been looking forward to with excitement,
I was moved to tears during the bus ride to the spot while listening to the dolphin stories from our guide, Nao.

When I actually saw the dolphins, I was beyond excited!
I was able to meet so many dolphins and swim with them; it truly felt like a dream.
I was deeply moved.
I am also grateful that I could have this experience surrounded by beautiful seas and majestic mountains in nature.

Thank you to the dolphin instructors and everyone at Private Dolphin Junior High for this wonderful experience.
I definitely want to go meet the dolphins again.
When I do, I would love to enroll at Private Dolphin Junior High again♪

そしてに実際にイルカを見つけたときには大興奮！

一緒に泳ぐことができて本当に夢見心地。
感激しました。
それもきれいな海と壮大な山に囲まれた大自然の中で
この体験ができたことにも感謝しています。

I saw a manta ray for the first time in Hawaii. I heard that the chances of seeing one are close to 100%. Since I had my child with me, I was relieved that we were able to see it. However, the briefing on the boat before diving was quite long, and my wife and child started to feel sick, so I think the briefing should be shorter. That said, I was surprised at how close it came, almost touching my legs. I think seeing a manta ray is worth it, but maybe just once?

　初めてのハワイでマンタを見ました。見ることができる確率は１００％に近いと聞いていま。子供がいたので、見ることができホッとしました。ただ、潜るまでのレクチャーが、船上で長く行われたため、ワイフと子供が気持ちが悪いと言い出したので、船上レクチャーは短めにしたほうがいいと思いました。それにしても足に触るぐらいまで近くに来たのでビックリ。マンタは一度でいいかな？でも見る価値はあると思います。
