My husband and I went on this cruise on one of the last days of our vacation. We did not see any whales or dolphins, but we still had a fantastic time! Since we did not see any whales we received a voucher for a free cruise for both of us. The crew was very knowledgeable and energetic. My only wish was that we would have picked to do this cruise earlier in our vacation so we could have used the voucher for the return cruise to hopefully see some whales.

The 8:00 pickup was delayed, so when I called, they answered in English. The voucher stated that both English and Japanese support were available, but when I asked for a Japanese speaker, I was told there wasn't one. After waiting for a while, I was picked up, but upon arriving at the information center, I was told, "Let's go on the boat!" within a minute, without any instructions on how to operate the Sea Bob. I was left feeling anxious and confused.

The weather was rainy and extremely cold, and despite the voucher stating that warm coffee and tea would be provided, we were given ice-cold water. While the weather is no one's fault, it was freezing, and the pickup vehicle had the air conditioning on full blast, making me shiver the entire time.

Since I was the first to finish, I had to wait for the last group to finish while enduring terrible boat swaying. I was told that snorkeling was an option, but that was the least of my concerns. Although it was stated that we would have 15 minutes on the Sea Bob, it was less than 10 minutes.

I believe it was a valuable experience, and the underwater scenery was beautiful, and I even saw a sea turtle. However, since the experience was heavily affected by the weather, I discussed with other Japanese participants that the price was too high for what we received, especially considering the additional cost for photos.

8:00ピックアップが遅れたので電話をすると英語で出ました。バウチャーには英語、日本語対応と書いてありJapanese speaker pleaseと言ったところいないと言われた。
しばらく待ってピックアップされたが案内所について1分でさあ、船で行こう！とシーボブについての操作方法をなにも聞かされていないのにも関わらず君たち1番に行ってと言われて何もわからず不安しかなかった。
天気は雨でものすごく寒かったしこちらもバウチャーに暖かいコーヒー紅茶用意してあると書かれていたにも関わらずキンキンに冷えた水。
天気はだれのせいでもないのだが極寒で、ピックアップの車も冷房がすごく、終始震えていました。
1番に終わったのでその後最後の方々が終わるまで酷い船揺れの中ひたすら待っていた。
シュノーケリングもできるよと言われたがそれどころではない。
シーボブも15分回れると書いてあったにもかかわらず10分もなかった。
貴重な体験を出来たと思うし海の中は綺麗で海亀も会えました。
しかし天気に左右されまくったので写真代別でこの値段は高すぎると同じ日本人参加者と話していました。

great time and great fun. one of the best things to do in hawaii. saw sea turtles and even was allowed to hold an octopus. the workers had our safety in mind the entire time. great fun. a must do on hawaii. thanks for the memories.

I had done the Sea Walker in Guam before, but it was my first experience with the new underwater scooter, and it was fun. It was amazing.

以前グアムでシーウォーカーをやった事はあったのですが新しい水中スクーターは初めての体験で楽しかったです。
最高でした。

At 5 PM, the pickup arrived, and it was quite painful as the Chinese passengers and the driver were talking loudly.
We arrived at the harbor, and it was a mixed tour with both foreigners and Japanese participants. Each group had its own guide.
After changing into wetsuits, we took about 40 minutes to reach the sea where the manta rays were. We sat by the side of the boat and rode like on a banana boat, which was thrilling and a lot of fun. The speed was high, and it bounced quite a bit.
At this point, there was someone who got seasick, so it might be tough for those who are prone to motion sickness. (This person was vomiting throughout the tour.)
Once we reached the manta spot, we watched the sunset sinking into the sea and continued floating in the water.
After a while, a manta ray came by to feed. The light we were using was weaker than that of other boats, so while manta rays did come, the water was murky and visibility was poor.
The strong lights from other boats allowed for clear views down to the seabed, so I think the difference in price is due to the number and strength of the lights.
In the end, about five manta rays came by, but I had expected to see many more, so I felt a bit unlucky.

夕方17時に迎えが来て、中国人とドライバーが大声で話をしながらの行きになったので結構苦痛。。
ハーバーに着いて、外国人と日本人の混合ツアーでした。外国人と日本人それぞれにガイドさんが付く感じです。
ウエットスーツに着替え、40分ほどかけてマンタのいる海へ。ボートの脇に座りながらバナナボートのようにして行くので、めちゃめちゃスリルがあって面白かったです。※スピードも出てかなり跳ねます
この時点で酔っている人がいたので、酔いやすい人にはキツイのかな。。(この人はツアー中ずっと嘔吐してました)
マンタスポットに着いてから、海に沈む夕日を見届けて海へ浮かび続けます。
しばらくすると餌を食べにマンタが１枚やってきました。
こちらで使用している光は他の船より弱く、マンタがやってくることはやってきますが海が濁っていて良く見えません。
他の船の強い光は海底までキレイに見えていたので、値段の違いは光の数と強さだと思いました。
最終的には5回くらいマンタが来てくれましたが、何枚も来てくれるものだと期待してしまっていたので少し運が無かったです。

I was worried about waking up early for our second day in Hawaii, but we made it onto the bus without any issues! Since it can be quite physically demanding, I recommend having at least a little breakfast before heading out.

We started snorkeling when we spotted a group of dolphins, but they disappeared quickly, so we returned to the boat and moved to another location. We repeated snorkeling a total of three times where the dolphins were. The kids, who had only interacted with dolphins at places like Sea Life Park, were extremely excited to see them swimming so close by.

After the dolphins, we snorkeled at a spot with honu (sea turtles) and fish. The honu came so close that the kids were thrilled once again. We brought a waterproof camera, so even now, the kids look at the photos of the dolphins and honu and reminisce about the experience. They still cherish the stuffed animals we received.

Swimming against the waves can be tiring, but it was a pleasant fatigue. Watching the sunrise from the ocean and having such wonderful experiences made it all worthwhile.

If I have the chance again, I would love to enroll in college.

ハワイ２日目の朝早くの出発で起きられるのか心配でしたが、無事にバスに乗車！
かなり体力を消耗するので、少しでも朝食を取っていった方が良いと思います。

イルカのグループがいたのでシュノーケリング開始しましたが、あっという間にいなくなりボートへ戻り移動。またイルカがいるところでシュノーケリングを合計３回繰り返しました。すぐ近くをイルカたちが泳ぎ、シーライフパーク等でイルカに触れ合った位しかしたことがない子供たちは大興奮でした。
イルカの後はホヌや魚がいるスポットでシュノーケリング。こちらでもホヌが触れるくらい近くまで来て、またも子供たちは大興奮でした。防水カメラを持参していったので、今でも子供たちはイルカやホヌの写真を見ては思い出に浸っています。いただいたぬいぐるみは今でも大切にしています。

波に逆らって泳いだりして疲れますがそれは心地よい疲労感で、海から朝日を見たり素敵な体験をしたので参加してよかったと思います。

また機会があったら大学へ入学したいと思います。

Actually, this was my second time participating in this tour. During my first experience, a large number of manta rays showed up, creating a truly magical spectacle, and I wanted to see it again. However, this time, surprisingly, there were no manta rays. Since it was my second time, I was still okay, but I felt heartbroken thinking about the two couples who were on their honeymoon and participating for the first time. Of course, the tour company and the staff did their best, so they are not at fault, but I believe that since this is an activity involving nature, participants should keep in mind that it is different from visiting an aquarium.

I was told that I could participate for free in the manta tour the next day or the dolphin tour in the morning, so I chose to join the dolphin tour. That turned out to be a huge success, and unlike the previous dolphin tour that was a complete failure, I had a precious experience where I could "swim together" with a large number of dolphins, which was ☆☆☆☆☆. Activities on the Big Island can sometimes be like this, so I recommend allowing extra time during your stay and trying to schedule activities for the earlier part of your trip as soon as you arrive. Although I couldn't see the manta rays this time, there is no doubt that this tour, along with the helicopter tour, is one that you absolutely must do among all the activities in Hawaii.

実は、このツアーは２回目の参加で１回目の時、大量のマンタがやってきてまさに幻想的なショーのような光景を見て、また、もう一度見たいと思い参加しました。
ただ、今回はまさかの「マンタ来ず」。
私らは二回目だったのでまだ良かったですが、初参加の２組のハネムーナーの方々の気持ちを思うと心が痛みました。
勿論ツアー会社やスタッフの皆さんはちゃんと頑張ってやってもらいましたので、何も悪くないのですがやはり「自然を相手にしているアクティビティ」なので、水族館とは違うと肝に銘じてご参加されるべきと思います。

・翌日のマンタツアー、もしくは翌日の午前中のイルカツアーに無料参加していいですよと言われたので、イルカツアーに参加しました。それは逆に大当たりで以前全くダメだったイルカツアーと違って大量のイルカとまさに「一緒に泳げた」ような貴重な体験が出来てそれは☆☆☆☆☆でした。ハワイ島のアクティビティはこういう事も稀にありますので、滞在期間を余裕目に取る事とアクティビテイは、なるべく到着したら前半の日程でやっておく事をお勧めします。　　今回は見る事が出来ませんでしたがこれは本当にハワイのあらゆるアクティビテイの中でヘリコプターツアーと共に「絶対やるべきツアー」である事に間違いありません。

Honestly, I feel a strong sense of disappointment. We moved from the meeting point to the office and watched an explanatory video. Up to that point, everything was fine, but after that, we waited about an hour for the boat to go out to sea. There was no explanation, and we just waited. Finally, when the boat arrived and we thought we were going out to sea, we just boarded another boat that had already gone out. On that boat, there was still no explanation, and we were made to wait for over an hour… and in the end, I got seasick. I ended up experiencing the underwater scooter while not feeling well.

By the way, there were about ten Japanese people on board with us, and almost everyone was struggling with seasickness; they all looked very uncomfortable. I definitely recommend that anyone participating in the future take measures against seasickness!

正直、残念という想いが強いです。
集合場所からオフィスまで移動し説明ビデオを観賞。ここまでは良かったのですが、その後は海にでる船を待つこと約1時間。なんの説明もなく、ただただ待つだけ。やっと船が来て海に出たと思ったら、先に海に出ていた船へ乗船するだけ。その船でもまったく説明がないまま、さらに1時間以上待たされ…あげくのはてに船酔い。体調が優れないまま水中スクーターを体験するという結果になりました。
ちなみに一緒に乗船していた中に日本の方が10名ほどおりましたが、ほぼ全員の方が船酔いとの闘いで、皆さんもとて辛そうでした。
ぜひ今後、参加される方は必ず船酔い対策をし参加されることをおすすめします‼

Every member of the staff is polite. They're aim is that guest have an exciting, fun, safe time. It is all very entertaining and educational. The Atlantis experience is highly recommended .

I was excited to see the morning whales and set out. It was drizzling a bit, but I boarded the ship. First, we had a morning brunch (buffet), which felt a little lacking. When we arrived along the coast of Diamond Head, I got my camera ready and waited. However, unfortunately, the boat returned. They said they would give us a free ticket to try again during the period, but I can't stay in Hawaii that long. I'll try again next year!

Crew were great, really entertaining! Pointed out interesting points, and we even saw a black tip reef shark, was amazing!! Mahalo

The boat was an ordinary one. There was also a catamaran, but it seemed to be from a different company. The price was about $10 cheaper if purchased on-site. It was available even on the day of. In conclusion, it's better to go to the port on the day and buy the tickets.

船は普通の船でした。双胴船もありましたが、ちがう会社のようでした。
値段も現地で購入したほうが10USDほど安いです。当日でも空いていました。
結論は当日港に行きチケット購入された方がいいです。

The transportation was smooth, and despite the strong winds, the boat didn't sway much, which was great. However, unfortunately, we weren't able to see any whales.

送迎もスムーズで船も風が強かったにも関わらずあまり揺れることなく良かったです。ただ、残念ながらクジラを見ることが出来きませんでした。

My 5-year-old nephew also participated. (The accompanying fee was a bit high...) We were able to play at the Kaizan Bar as if we had it all to ourselves. After this, we joined other underwater scooter participants by boat, and my nephew stayed on the boat while the three of us went diving. The clarity of the ocean was amazing. Each diver was with us, so it was completely not scary. By shaking a net filled with bread underwater, a huge number of fish gathered around us. A photographer took underwater photos for us (for a fee, and later, the photos will be sent via email. You can choose between videos and photos), so there’s no need to bring an underwater camera. While waiting on the boat, my nephew also got some bread and was allowed to feed the fish. Snacks and water are available freely. However, since you might get hungry, I recommend bringing some light snacks.

5歳の甥っ子も一緒に参加しました。(同行料金にしては高い。。。)
カイサンドバーで、貸切のような形で、遊べました。
この後、ボートで他の水中スクーター参加者と合流し、甥っ子は、ボートでお留守番させ、三人で潜りました。海の透明度すごいかったです。
一人ずつ、ダイバーがついてくれるので全く怖くありません。
水中で、パンの入った網をゆすることで、ものすごい勢いで魚たちが集まってきます。
カメラマンが水中写真を撮ってくれるので(有料で、のちほど、写真がメールで送られてきます。動画と写真選べます。)水中カメラを持っていく必要はありません。
ボートで待っている間、甥っ子もパンをもらい、えさやりをさせてもらいました。
スナック菓子と水は自由に頂けます。
しかし、お腹がすくので、軽食を持っていくことをおすすめします。

I participated with my elementary and middle school children. Although we had touched dolphins a little during the dolphin show, we had never experienced swimming with them or kissing them, so both the children and adults who participated were very satisfied.

小学生と中学生の子どもと参加しました。
イルカショーで少しタッチした事はあっても、泳いだりキスしたりなどなどの経験はなかったので参加した子どもも大人も大満足でした。

I participated with friends and family. The reservation process was smooth, and I had some questions that were easily addressed with direct inquiries at the location. The polite email correspondence was also very helpful. Upon arrival, my reservation information was already registered, so I was called by name and could start the experience right away. I would like to use this service again when I visit Hawaii.

I was able to see a manta ray up close, and I was truly satisfied. There was a manta ray just about 10 centimeters in front of me!!!! A very beautiful lady who spoke Japanese guided us, which made me feel safe participating. She was also a great swimmer, like a mermaid. The participants were not only Japanese but also from various countries.

There were quite a few people who felt unwell, but I took motion sickness medication beforehand, so I was totally fine (*^◯^*). I'm not good with thrill rides, so the boat ride to see the manta rays was quite scary, but I got used to it after a while and was able to enjoy it.

The sunset and the starry sky viewed from the boat were truly wonderful and became a lifelong memory. I highly recommend it!

ものすごく近くでマンタを見ることができて、本当に大満足です。
目の前10センチくらいのところにマンタがいました！！！！
日本語を話せるとても綺麗なお姉さんが案内をしてくださり、安心して参加できました。泳ぎも上手で、マーメイドのようでした。参加者は日本人ばかりではなく、いろんな国の方がいました。
気分が悪くなっている方も結構いらっしゃいましたが、私は酔い止めを飲んで行ったので、全然平気でした(*^◯^*)
絶叫マシンなどが苦手なので、マンタに会いに行くまでの船がとても怖かったですが、しばらくすると慣れて、楽しむことができました。
船から見る夕日も、星空も、本当に素晴らしく、一生の思い出になりました。

We participated as a couple. We boarded the boat with a mix of skepticism and high expectations about what we would see. Every time someone shouted, there was a commotion and movement, which was a bit tiring... but we did see it. Just when we thought we might not see anything, we spotted the tail... Unfortunately, we couldn't see the large body, but the view of Honolulu Beach from the sea was breathtaking. I would like to participate again during a better season.

夫婦二人で参加しました。どのくらい見えるのか、半信半疑も期待大で乗船しました。誰かが叫ぶたびにどよめきと移動で少々くたびれましたが・・・見えたんです。もう駄目かなと思っていたときに尾びれが・・・残念ながら大きなからだの部分は見えませんでしたが、海から眺めるホノルルビーチの風景は絶景でした。また季節の良い時に参加したいと思います。

Although the pictures and video that we took were amazingly beautiful and it is probably the best way to see the waterfalls on the island. There should be a disclaimer along with the advertisement of the tour for people with bad backs or next and probably awful younger children and senior citizens. The ride itself as horrible as far as comfortability . The water being so rough around the coast line added with no seat belts or cushioning on the aluminum boat itself made for a horrible ride. There was one point when I was actually in tears because of the pain and shock to my back from the intensity of being thrown back into the seat.

At 58 years old, I experienced snorkeling for the first time. I put on a wetsuit over my swimsuit, wore a life jacket, added fins, and attached the snorkel for mouth breathing. Everything was new to me, and then I dove into the sea. The blue sky, the blue ocean, and the crystal-clear water stretched as far as I could see, and there I was with dolphins. Not just a few, but dozens of them were swimming around me, right below and beside me, so close I could almost reach out and touch them. I was unbelievably excited and moved. I also made friends with the other participants, and we all had a great time together, laughing and enjoying ourselves on this wonderful tour. I participated with my husband and sister, and even though my sister visits Hawaii more than twice a year, it was her first time seeing dolphins, and she was thrilled to have such a precious experience. She was so moved that at 65, she was wearing a swimsuit and jumping into the ocean. I felt the same way; it was refreshing and incredibly healing. The blue ocean of Hawaii, the school of dolphins, the smiles of the participants, Julie's bright and fun personality, the photographer swimming like a mermaid, and the captain in a red T-shirt who suited the role perfectly—all the cheerful and fun staff made it the best memory of Hawaii. The dolphin experience was the highlight. I definitely want to participate again. Thank you to all the staff. I gained the energy to tackle work and house chores after returning to Japan. I want to brag to my friends about this. It’s a lifelong memory.

私 58才にして、初めてシュノーケリングを体験しました。水着の上にウエットスーツ、ライフジャケットを付け、足ヒレも付け、シュノーケルを付け口呼吸 すべてが初めての事で、いざ海にダイブ。青い空、青い海、どこまでも見渡せる透明度の海、その中に私とイルカがいました。何頭ではなく何十頭も泳いでいて、私の泳いでいるすぐ下にも、横にもイルカが、すぐ手の届く所にいるなんて、信じられないくらい興奮し感動しました。一緒に参加した人達とも仲良くなれて、みんなでワイワイ、ガヤガヤ、ノリノリでとても楽しいツアーでした。私は夫と姉と三人で参加しましたが、姉は年に2回以上はハワイに来てるのに、イルカを見に行ったのは初めてと、貴重な体験をしたと、とても喜んでいました。まさか65才になって水着を着て、海に飛び込むとはと、すっごく感動してました。私も同じ気持ちで、心が洗われ、とても癒されました。ハワイの青い海、イルカの群れ、参加した人達の笑顔、ジュリさんの明るく楽しいキャラ、カメラマンさんの人魚みたいに泳ぐ姿、赤Ｔシャツがよく似合うキャプテン、みなさん陽気で楽しいスタッフに恵まれ、最高に楽しいハワイの思い出となりました。イルカ中学最高でした。又ぜひ参加したいと思います。スタッフのみなさんありがとうございました。また日本に帰ってからの仕事、家事、頑張れる元気もらいました。友達に自慢したいと思います。一生の思い出です。

The underwater scooter was really great! They made an effort to gather fish by scattering food just before we went in, and they took pictures of us as a couple, which I think will create really fun memories (^^)♪ However, other aspects were lacking...

First, most of the staff didn't speak Japanese, so even when I wanted to confirm something, it was difficult to communicate. Also, I wasn't offered any light snacks, and I ended up not knowing where they were located. The explanation for the stand-up paddleboarding was just "You paddle while standing," and then we were left to figure it out on our own. It seems that aside from the underwater scooter, everything else was treated as just a way to pass the time. Considering that, I think it's an expensive option.

Also, it was very bumpy, so motion sickness medication is definitely necessary! I was confident that I wouldn't get seasick, but I experienced seasickness for the first time in my life (^^;

水中スクーターは本当によかったです！
直前にエサをまくなど魚を集める工夫をしてくれたりカップルだと
並んで写真を撮ってくれたり本当に楽しい思い出になると思います（＾＾）♪
ですがそれ以外が・・・
まずスタッフがほとんど日本語が通じなく確認したいことがあっても
なかなか通じなく困りました
あと軽食などいっさいすすめられることなく結局どこにあったも分からずじまいで
スタンドアップパドルボートも「立って漕ぐんだよ」ぐらいの説明であとは放置でした
結局水中スクーター以外は時間つぶしのおまけ的な扱いなのでしょう
そう考えると高いオプションだと思います
あとすごく揺れるので酔い止めは絶対必要です！！
絶対に酔わない自信があったのですが人生で初船酔いを体験しました（＾＾；

Since we were staying in Kaanapali, we had booked a departure from Kaanapali Beach. However, I had seen in a previous review from someone who had booked here that due to strong winds, the departure port was changed on the day of the trip. We received a call at our hotel room and headed to Lahaina Harbor. All the calls were in English, so I could somewhat understand, but I had the hotel’s Japanese desk contact them for confirmation. There was no Japanese guide on board, so all the explanations were in English, but we were able to see several whales. On the way back to the harbor, they played the theme song from Pirates of the Caribbean. We got quite wet, but if you sit in a spot that doesn't get splashed, you can stay relatively dry, so we had a great time. However, I think a jacket might be necessary. It’s fine while the sun is out, but when the sun goes behind the clouds or the wind blows, it can get quite cold, so I think it’s needed. We had fun with turkey sandwiches and Mai Tais!

カアナパリに宿泊していたので、カアナパリビーチ発を予約していたのですが、以前こちらで予約していた方の体験談の中に強風で、当日出発する港が変更になったというのを見ていて、私達の所にも、ホテルのルーム宛てに連絡が入りラハイナ港に向かいました。電話は全て英語だったので、何となく聞き取れたもののホテルの日本語デスクの方に連絡して頂き、再度確認して頂きました。日本人のガイドの方は乗っていないので、全て英語での説明でしたが、クジラも何頭か見れて、港に帰る時にはパイレーツオブカリビアンのテーマ曲を流してくれて、かなりお水をかぶりましたが、ちゃんと濡れない席にいればそんなに濡れずに済むので私達は楽しかったです。ただ、上着は必要かなと…。お日様が出ている間はいいですが、お日様が陰ったり風が吹くと、とても寒いので、必要かと思います。ターキーサンドにマイタイを手に楽しかったですよ～！！

1st time to Hawaii and was a little disappointed had to cancel our whale watching trip the 1st time but was able to reschedule before we left. We saw one whale but wasn't fast enough to get a picture. Just saw a little bit of the hump and tail. But we had fun while we could.

This was one of the most amazing things I have ever done… it's a must bucket list item. It is like you are transported to another world and underwater world and I got to see fish, turtles, sting rays - just amazing - you won't regret it. Thanks to the whole team, they made is such a fun experience.

I was able to see several manta rays. Some of them came so close that I thought they might bump into me, which was very impressive. I also enjoyed the little fish, similar to horse mackerel, bumping into me. It was my first time snorkeling, but they taught me carefully, so I felt very secure. Although I saw the manta rays at night, the sunset in the evening was also a highlight. However, I think it's better for those who are prone to motion sickness to take some medication beforehand.

何枚ものマンタを見ることが出来ました。
なかにはぶつかるんじゃ無いかと思うくらい近づいてくるマンタもいて、とても迫力があります。アジの様な小魚がぶつかってきたりと、色々と楽しめました。
シュノーケリングは初めてでしたが、丁寧に教えてくれるのでとても安心です。
マンタを見るのは夜になってからですが、夕方のサンセットも見所です。
但し、酔いやすい人は酔い止めの薬を飲んでおいた方が良いと思います。

First of all, I would like to thank all the staff who took care of us!
On the day of the event, the weather was nice, the waves were calm, and the breeze on the boat was pleasant.
I was able to see the honu (sea turtles) coming up for air multiple times, which was enjoyable in itself.
When the sun went down, it felt a bit chilly in the water, so it was a good decision to borrow a wetsuit.
In the morning bus, our guide Julie cheerfully shared important information and details about Oahu, and what stood out to me was that dolphins have developed ultrasonic communication to convey their feelings.
When we arrived at the spot where the dolphins were, we entered the water and saw the dolphins in the distance!
We moved towards the direction of the dolphins with the other participants, but I was lagging behind and felt like crying inside, wanting to swim with the dolphins!! Just then, dolphins started coming towards us from behind!
I was truly moved to be so close that I thought I might touch them!
After that, dolphins swam slowly towards us from all directions, and later I heard there were about 70 of them.
I heard their squeaky sounds multiple times, and their spinning and belly-up courtship poses were absolutely adorable.
Since they are wild animals, I thought I would be happy just to see a few from a distance, so I was beyond happy.
For those who are not confident swimmers, there were floatation devices available for rent, and those who used them were able to move ahead without any issues.
The photos I posted were taken with my inexpensive underwater camera, but the professional photographer took even more beautiful shots, including some from deeper dives, so I think those who bring their own cameras will be satisfied with their purchases.
If you have the opportunity, making a video would be interesting as you can listen to the squeaky sounds and the clicking sounds, which are ultrasonic and hard for humans to hear.
Lastly, I want to thank Julie for the heartfelt send-off, as well as the powerful and warm captain, the cheerful photographer, and all the staff!
I definitely want to participate again!

まずお世話になったスタッフの皆さん、どうもありがとうございました！
参加当日は天気が良く波も穏やかで船上での風も心地よかったです。
何度も息継ぎをするホヌを見掛ける事が出来、それだけでも楽しかったです。
陽が陰ると海の中では肌寒く感じたのでウエットスーツを借りて正解でした。
朝のバス内ではガイドのジュリさんが明るく注意事項やオアフ島の事など教えて下さり中でも印象的だったのがイルカは超音波が発達していて気持ちが伝わるとの事でした。
いざイルカのいる地点に到着し海に入ると遠くからイルカ達が…！
参加者の方々とイルカのいる方向へ進んで行くのですが思う様に進めず一人どんどん遅れてしまい半泣き状態でイルカさん達と泳ぎたいよー！！と心の中で叫んでいたら私の後ろの方からもイルカ達がこちらに向かって水面へ近付いてきてくれました(;_;)
触れてしまうのではないかと思う位の距離に本当に感動しました！
その後も四方八方からイルカ達がゆっくり泳いできてくれて後で聞くと70頭位だったそうです。
キューキューと鳴く声が何度も聞こえ、ぐるぐるスピンする姿やお腹を真上に泳ぐ求愛ポーズなど本当に愛らしいです。
自然の生き物なので、せめて何匹か遠目でも見る事が出来ればなぁと思っていたので言葉に出来ない位に幸せでした。
泳ぎが苦手な方は浮き具の貸し出しもあり利用されていた方はどんどん先に進んでらしたので問題ないと思います。
投稿写真は私の安い水中カメラで撮ったものですが当日カメラマンさんが撮ってくれている写真はもっと綺麗で深く潜った所からのショットもありカメラ持参の方が購入しても満足出来ると思います。
余裕があればムービーにするとキューキューと鳴く声や後で調べた所、人には聞こえ辛いカタカタッとしたクリック音と言う別の超音波も後で聞き直せるので面白いと思います。
最後にお別れの時まで心のこもったお見送りをして下さったジュリさんを始めパワフルであったかいキャプテン、明るくフォローして下さったカメラマンさんやスタッフの皆さんありがとうございました！

When I booked the Early Bird Whale Watch Cruise for the 15th April, it was my only opportunity to possibly see some whales. I knew it was the last day of the Star of Honolulu Whale Watch Cuises and I may not necessarily see any whales, and unfortunately we didn't. But that didn't stop me from having an absolutely wonderful time. There were not may 'tourists' on this cruise, probably because it was the end of the season, and we were allowed to wonder about the boat freely. The staff were very informative, and really made us all feel very welcome. I spent my time walking about the ship taking some wonderful photos and talking to other tourists and staff. It was a beautiful sunny day, though a bit windy. To be out on the water on such a beautiful day with some fantastic people was a joy. It was a disappointment we didn't see whales, but a gamble I took when booking. The company guarantees you will see whales, in the event that you dont, they give vouchers for a free cruise, valid for 12 months.
Next time I go to Oahu it will be in January, and I can redeem the free cruise voucher.
I would recommend the Star of Honolulu whale watch cruises, the ship is beautiful and clean, the staff are fantastic, and the scenery is beautiful.
