Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I couldn't travel to Hawaii in 2020 and 2021, but I resumed my trips to Oahu in 2022 and 2023, and this time, it was my first trip to the Big Island in five years. As usual, I stayed at the Hilton resort in the Waikoloa area, but I felt that I couldn't truly experience the Big Island without seeing the traditional luau and hula Hawaiian show, which I also hadn't seen in five years. On the day of the event, it started drizzling, and as we transitioned from the first traditional hula show to dinner, the staff quickly distributed vinyl raincoats. By the time the Polynesian dancers' torch-lit group dance reached its peak, the rain had turned into a light mist, and most of the audience removed their raincoats. With the host's lively lead, the audience became one with the show and was filled with excitement. However, perhaps due to the rainy weather from the start, the program was moved up, and the audience participation hula was skipped, which was a bit disappointing.

The weather was great, and I was able to see Waikiki Beach, the hotel district, and Diamond Head from the sea, which allowed me to enjoy a different side of Waikiki. The sunset was amazing! We started with hula before departure, and after we set sail, we enjoyed Mai Tais and a Polynesian show, fully experiencing Hawaii.

I read that Aloha Tower has a marketplace, so I went there early, but there wasn't much to see. However, I was able to relax while gazing at the pier.

I thought about taking the $3 bus without a shuttle, but when I asked at the hotel, they said the location was hard to find and not safe, so I took a taxi instead. It cost about $30 one way, and I wished I had included the shuttle in the tour from the beginning. The food and show content were as expected and good.

This was a great/relaxing experience. Nice cruise up and down the river, good historical information, and easy walk to the grotto. Well worth the time. If you have any problems walking then do not try this. The walk is short but why pay just for a boat ride? This was worth MY time and I would do it again.

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and it was amazing!
During our two weeks, we traveled to various places like LA and Las Vegas, but this was the best dinner we had!
My husband wasn't used to eating lobster and ended up flinging the shell, which was a bit embarrassing but a nice memory! It might be a good idea to look up how to eat lobster before you go!
We could freely explore the ship, enjoy the show at our leisure, take in the views from the upper deck, and savor our meal—it was a wonderfully relaxed time.

We used this for a three-generation family trip. The sunset from the deck was very beautiful. It was also enjoyable to view Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from the sea. However, the buffet was disappointing for a cruise at this price. I think I would have been more satisfied with just the cruise without dinner.

Visiting the different islands was both informative and entertaining. Our buffet dinner was suburb with vast food choices. The show HA was spectacular. It was a dinner cruise, right? Efficiently serving food and drinks is the minimum service required to enjoy the meal. The entertainment started, and we toasted, but our table had not been served the sparkling wine upon boarding. I had to remind them, but they ended up taking our glasses away. Eventually, we managed to get served, but other tables were already receiving their second drinks. The timing of the food and drinks was just too poor. In the end, I had to request drinks myself at the bar counter at the stern of the ship. It was the worst dinner cruise ever. Of course, there won't be a second time.

We've been to Hawaii several times, but this was our first time joining this activity.
From the welcome hula dance before boarding, it really lifted our spirits and made us feel like we were in Hawaii.
As soon as we boarded, drinks were served, but there was a 30-minute wait until departure, so some people might finish their drinks during that waiting period.
The meal was a buffet, and the roast beef was very tender. The side dishes were seasoned to suit Japanese tastes, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was.
The sunset was beautiful, and everyone was excited with the wonderful live music and authentic hula.
It was a bit windy that day, so it would be good for those who are prone to motion sickness to have some medication.
It became a fun memory for us.

It was a trip with my grandchildren, a 9-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl. This was the 9-year-old's second time participating in the tour. Although the weather wasn't very favorable during our 7-day stay, we had good weather on the tour days and were able to see beautiful sunsets. The 4-year-old danced at the final Hawaiian dance and was really excited! She was in a great mood after getting high-fives from the dancers. We also enjoyed dancing at the YMCA. Last time, we did the Jenga dance.

Suggestion: It would be great if there was a KEIKI menu.

It’s always a hassle to cut the lobsters for ourselves and our kids when we have a course meal, so this time we tried the buffet. However, the lobster course is definitely delicious, and if you’re not particular about the food, you can enjoy the sunset from either option. Also, on the third floor of the course meal, there’s a stage with many dancers. On the second floor of the buffet, three dancers also come by, so you can enjoy the atmosphere. I posted about this last year too, but it takes time for the drinks to arrive, so if you want to drink well, make sure to order early! Since the wind was strong and we couldn't get close to the buildings in Waikiki, we were going around the bay. On Friday nights, you can see fireworks, which is more comfortable than watching them from a beach without restrooms!

It was a great experience to view the war from a perspective outside of my own country. After making a reservation, a QR code ticket was sent via email, so it was smooth to enter when I printed it out just in case.

The plan does not include admission tickets to the Arizona Memorial, so you need to book those on the website yourself. Reservations for available slots can be made at 3 PM the day before, but they were filled within five minutes. When I made a standby reservation on-site just after 8 AM on the day of my visit, I was able to participate with hardly any wait. If you’re already at Pearl Harbor, I highly recommend visiting the Arizona Memorial as well.

You can't bring most bags due to security, but you can bring items in a clear bag. I thought it might be difficult if the bag was too large, so I brought one that could fit a 500ml plastic bottle horizontally.

◆ Because of the strong wind, the food got quite cold while I was getting it. Still, the meat dishes were delicious. The menu was limited, and the breakfast buffet at Japanese hotels has more variety. I don't remember everything, but there were about two small cakes for dessert and one type of something like fruit punch.
◆ The golden seats made it quite difficult to see the show. If you're aiming for the show, I think the higher-class Diamond Premier is better.

Choosing this show for my trip to Hawaii was a mistake. I should have skipped this show and opted for a restaurant or TOGO, spending more time on sightseeing in Waikiki or ocean leisure activities. I cannot recommend it to those who find waiting times unbearable or a waste.

The day before, I went on the "Dinner Cruise Star of Honolulu 3 Star," and that was very good.

◆ルアウショーは、ヒルトン宿泊の人なら会場外のビーチから低い柵越しに鑑賞してる人もいました。正直ゴールデンシートに座ってるより近くで良く見えました。
◆他の体験談でもありましたが、雨が降る時があるので落ち着かないです。「お願いだから降らないで〜」と願うストレス、、、あと風が結構強い。
◆風が強いので、料理をとってる間に料理がかなり冷めてしまいます。それでも肉系の料理は美味しかったです。メニューは少なく、日本のホテルの朝食ブッフェの方が種類があります。全部は覚えてないけど、デザートは小さいケーキ？2種とフルーツポンチ？みたいなもの1種くらいでした。
◆ゴールデンシートはショーがかなり見えづらかったです。ショー目当てなら上位クラスのダイヤモンドプレミアがいいと思います。

Since I am an owner of a timeshare in Ko Olina, I went there by rental car without a shuttle service. The roads were easy to navigate, and it was very close to Ko Olina, making it quite accessible.

With a passport, I was able to explore at my own pace without any time restrictions. I was able to enter all the museums, which was great.

However, due to a typhoon, the winds were strong, and the boats couldn't go out, so I couldn't visit the Arizona Memorial. That was disappointing. All the other museums were wonderful. There were Japanese audio guides available, or free guides who were Japanese, so I was able to understand the content well.

There are regulations on what you can bring, but if you have a transparent bag or a vinyl tote, you can bring those in as is. It's recommended when your pockets can't hold everything.

I highly encourage everyone to visit. It was a truly valuable experience with a lot to see, and I'm really glad I went.

持ち物の規制がありますが、透明なバッグや、ビニール手提げを持っていけば、そのまま持ち込めました。ポケットに入りきらないときは、おすすめです。

皆様もぜひ行ってみてください。大変貴重な体験と内容盛りだくさんで、本当に行ってよかったです。
