If you're visiting Kauai, you absolutely have to check out the Na Pali Coast, so I joined a tour this time. The view from the sea was truly amazing. There were interesting points like large openings that continued like tunnels, and holes in the ceiling of the tunnels where waterfalls were cascading down. I'm glad I got to see them up close. I also enjoyed snorkeling, and the lunch was delicious. It was a very satisfying tour!

カウアイ島を訪れるなら絶対ナパリコーストには行ってみたかったので、今回ツアーに参加しました。

We participated in a tour as a family. Since we had children with us, we were worried about seasickness during the cruise, but thankfully, no one got seasick, and we all had a great time together.

The caves and unique rock formations of the Na Pali Coast viewed from the sea were incredibly impressive, and we enjoyed the breathtaking scenery. Not only did we get to see beautiful landscapes, but we also encountered dolphins and whales along the way, and enjoyed snorkeling where we could see sea turtles and tropical fish up close. It was a very enriching tour, and I would love to participate again someday.

I had previously participated in a trekking tour of the Napali Coast, but I really wanted to see the views from the sea, so I decided to join this tour. The weather was great, and the cruising experience was fantastic. I was amazed by the sight of a pod of dolphins swimming in the deep blue sea and the breathtaking scenery while feeling the pleasant breeze. The impressive views of the cliffs and valleys are still etched in my memory.

I was looking forward to seeing sea turtles while snorkeling, but it was disappointing that I didn't encounter any. However, the underwater world filled with colorful fish was beautiful!

This summer, I participated with four friends. I was really looking forward to it because of the term "hidden coastal area," and I was able to see truly wonderful landscapes created by nature. Along the way, we encountered a pod of dolphins, and during snorkeling, we saw various types of fish and even got to touch some marine animals. It turned out to be a very satisfying day, and I thoroughly enjoyed the charm of Kauai Island.

When it comes to Kauai, the Na Pali Coast is a must-see! I joined this tour to experience the beauty of nature. On the day of the tour, the weather was great, the sky was a brilliant blue, and the ocean was incredibly clear. The natural formations of Na Pali, shaped over hundreds of years, were more beautiful than I had imagined, and the grandeur took my breath away.

The snorkeling was fantastic, with excellent water clarity, vibrant fish, and I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle as well. While I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views during the cruise, I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication in advance, as the time spent on the boat can be quite long.

This is the second time for my wife and I. This year we brought our 14 year old son with us. We were lucky enough to see a mother whale and her calf along with plenty of dolphins, turtles, and colorful fish. The staff was very friendly and took very good care of us. I would highly recommend this activity to any party looking for fun and adventure. We will rebook this activity on our next trip to Maui.

The whale-watching tour was nice to do. I believe that being on a smaller boat was well worth the price - more interaction, and closer to the action. We did see whale activity, but what we saw was somewhat disappointing (blows and sightings - not much extreme movement). The crew was informative and helpful. I believe it's a 50/50 shot at what, or if, you'll see! Good experience, but most-likely wouldn't do it again.

Ive been on this twice already!! Went with some buddies and we didn't realize that we were going to another island, the first time. Lanai is so beautiful with lots of reef fishes and the bluest water I have ever seen. Oh and we also saw some whales, the second time. Everyone on the crew is super awesome and really took care of us. Will be seeing you guys again ... hopefully sooner than later. lol.

We have been on whale tours before, we come to Hawaii every year, and this is by far the best one we have ever been on. Some of the other tours are boring and slow - this Tour is fast and fun! The boat itself is an adventure and we were able to race out to the whales in a record amount of time. We will definitely be coming back to take this tour and next time we will bring the whole gang from Texas to go too!!

Captain Chris and his crew took care to make sure every passenger was looked after and made to feel at home. Watching the sun come up on the Na Pali coast was spectacular and the snorkeling spot was to die for.
The water can be rough so take precautions for sea sickness.
This was a great trip. I personally didn't need to have the "Forbidden Isle" portion. It's forbidden because you can't go anywhere near it.
All said though - a very good trip!

I and My husband often visit Hawaii, but never came to Kauai.
So, for the 5th Anniversary Trip, we decided to see the Na Pail, which our friends visit Last year and recommended to us.
The Crew members were great! We were the only Japanese couple on the Boat, but they tried to understand our poor English, explain the history of Kauai, and they even sang us a Hawaiian Song after they found out this is our 5th Anniversary Trip..
Off course, the view was incredibly beautiful.
I strongly recommend this Activity for my Friend!!

This was an awesome cruise. The captain gave us a great narrative of Na-Pali as we cruised and enjoyed the beautiful sights. The crew was very friendly and the service was excellent. As an added bonus we were able to spot quite a few whales which was an unexpected treat since it was the middle of April when most whales are on their way back to Alaska.
We had a perfect evening with minimal clouds which ended the cruise with a beauitful sunset. We also saw a dolphin as we were making our way back to the dock.
Aaron, one of the crew members also gave us alot of history on Kauai. I highly recommend this cruise!
Thanks Holo Holo Captain and crew for making our cruise such an unforgetable experience.

My wife and I had a great time on the boat, the
Captain was very good at knowing the laws governing the missle base, he slowed going up the coast after hearing over the radio they were going to launch a missle. He and the crew kept a sharp eye on the surface for any ocean activity that he could get close to while we slowed, when we got past the site he showed us some incredible scenery on the Na pali shore, my wife and I thought it was the most beautiful area we have ever seen. The snorkeling part was the only draw back, it just seemed like we were the ten thousand and one boat load of people to visit that spot. The water was nice but it was just a time killer. Overall it was worth the money and the time, The Captain and Crew did a great job, it was well worth the trip.

Seasick but Impressed

I was one of the unlucky guests who experienced sea sickness. Looking back I think I could have avoided this unfortunate condition if I had consumed more water before and during the tour. I think a motion sickness medicine would have been good for me as well. I haven't had a lot of experience with boat tours, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I will next time. Even though I was sick during half of this tour I would still recommend it. The captain and crew were awesome! They were very attentive and provided a lot of information about the Na Pali coast, which is remote and beautiful. They went out of there way to make sure everyone had what they needed to have a great time. Actually, the next time I'm in Kauai I would try this tour again with the precautions I mentioned earlier. I would highly recommend this tour.

My family is still talking about the exceptional, exciting, fantastic trip that we took to Niihau. The snorkeling was the best that we have ever seen- clear blue water, lots of fish and plenty of time to snorkel. The colors of the water were incomparable- sapphire blue, azure, teal,aquamarine and garnet green-spectacular. The service and the crew were great- they really knew all about the islands and they were experts on snorkeling.
We would go again in a heartbeat!!

The captain and his crew were great. They did everything to ensure that we had a pleasurable time. The Na pali coast is incredible. Trip was good for all ages. The water can be rough, so beware if you are prone to seasickness. Only problem was hawaii activities gave us the wrong checkin time. We sat around for 1/2 hour waiting for the checkin. Also the cruise ended alot later then
we had anticipated. But in the big scheme of things , no big deal.

I participated with my parents and family. Out of about 40 participants, we were the only Japanese. The crew was very friendly, but all the safety instructions on the boat and the snorkeling guidelines were explained in English, so it can be concerning and dangerous if there isn't at least one person in the group who can speak English.

The Na Pali Coast is magnificent, and we were able to get close to Niihau Island, where we saw dolphins and whales up close, which was fantastic. The water was clear, and we were able to see many rare fish while snorkeling.

However, during the voyage (I'm not sure if the waves are always that high), there were incredibly high waves, and for nearly an hour, the speed and rocking made me feel like I might be thrown into the sea multiple times. I think it's better for those who are not good on boats to avoid this trip.

If you're young, confident in your physical abilities, and enjoy thrills, and can communicate in English to some extent, I believe you will have a great time.

４０名ほどの参加者のうち、日本人は私たちだけでした。
クルーはとてもフレンドリーですが、やはり船での注意事項や、スノーケルをする際の注意事項などすべて英語で説明されるので、グループの中で一人ぐらいは英語を話せる人がいないと不安だし、危険だと思います。

ただ、航海中は（いつもあんなに波が高いのかはわかりませんが）、ものすごい高波で何度も海に放り出されるのではないかと思う程のスピードと揺れが１時間近く続くので、船に弱い人は避けたほうが良いと思います。
若く、体力に自信があってスリルを楽しみたい人、更にある程度英語でコミュニケーションが取れる人でしたら、十分楽しめる内容だと思います。

I participated in a sea cruise tour of the Na Pali Coast. During the snorkeling, we were able to snorkel in a spot with visibility of over 20 meters, where we got to see seals up close and a lot of fish. The waters around Kauai can be quite rough, but the staff did an excellent job with safety management. The snorkeling gear provided was clean and available in various sizes, so I felt secure while snorkeling. Additionally, we spotted a pod of dolphins about three times. It was great how they would slow down and show off when we approached them.

The Na Pali Coast itself is magnificent and truly breathtaking, but with our limited English skills, we struggled to understand the crew's explanations. I thought it would have been even more enjoyable if there had been more information available in Japanese online beforehand. However, at that moment, I was so blessed with good weather that I couldn't help but have a great time!

The meeting time was at 6 AM, which is a bit early, but the breakfast and lunch were delicious, so it was fine. There were also snacks and cookies provided along the way, and the restrooms were clean, so there was nothing to worry about. The other participants in the tour were mostly Americans (there were about 40 of them), and it was fun to chat a little with them.

当日は６時集合で少し早いですが、朝食も昼食もおいしいので大丈夫。途中、スナックやクッキーのサービスもあるし、トイレも清潔だし、困ることはなにもありません。ツアーに参加しているのは私たち以外ははアメリカ人で（40人はいたかな）、ちょっとおしゃべりできたりもして、それはそれで楽しかったです。

I participated in this in August 2006. The morning assembly was at 6 AM, which made waking up tough, but I think it was definitely worth it. The view of the Na Pali Coast from the boat is breathtaking, and we even saw dolphins there. Additionally, the boat entered a mystical sea cave, where the light shining into the water allowed us to see the beautiful emerald green of the sea. While snorkeling around Niihau Island, I encountered Hawaiian monk seals twice underwater. The photos were taken with a regular digital camera.

Now, once you board the boat, make sure to grab a seat at the table at the back. After departing the harbor, drinks and breakfast are served right away. On the way out, only non-alcoholic beverages are served, but on the return trip, beer is unlimited. Breakfast consists of fruit and bread, but the bagels with cream cheese that you can spread as much as you like are quite delicious. The boat's rocking depends on the sea conditions, so unless you're a professional fisherman, it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication before boarding and pack an extra tablet for the return trip. Each person is responsible for managing their valuables.

Once we arrive at the Na Pali Coast, a stunning view awaits. Dolphins seem to reside in the waters of the Na Pali Coast, so I think you can almost certainly see them. When I was there, I was even lucky enough to see them spinning and jumping. I've heard of spinner dolphins, but I was skeptical about whether wild dolphins actually do that, and it turns out they really do! After leaving Na Pali, the boat heads toward Niihau Island. During the trip, the crew frequently checks in with "everything OK?" Since it's in English, even if it's not OK, you can only say it's OK, but you can feel that they care. I guess they just want to know if you need a drink.

The snorkeling point is between Niihau Island and Lehua Island, right next to Lehua Island. This Lehua Island is a seabird sanctuary, and there were many seabirds around. The monk seals were also taking a nap. I wished I had binoculars. There were tropical fish, and the water was incredibly clear, but the fish were far away. The depth in deeper areas is unknown, so let's avoid going too deep. The crew was keeping a close watch on us. There are two toilets, but no changing rooms. There was a simple shower available. 2006年の8月に参加してきました。朝の集合は６時と朝起きるのにつらいものがありましたが、いく価値は十分にあると思います。船からみるﾅﾊﾟﾘｺｰｽﾄは圧巻だし、そこでイルカもみれたし、さらに神秘的な海洞にも船が入って､海に差し込む光の関係で､美しい海のエメラルドグリーンを見ることができました。ニイハウ島でのシュノーケリング中にはハワイアンモンクシールにも２回、海中で会うことができました。写真は普通のデジカメで撮影したものです。さて、船に上船したら､船後方のテーブルのある席をゲットしましょう。港を出港しましたら､さっそく飲みのものと朝ご飯のｻｰﾋﾞｽがあります。行きはノンアルコール飲料のみのｻｰﾋﾞｽで､帰りはビールも飲み放題です。朝ご飯はフルーツとパンですが、クリームチーズを自分の好きなだけつけて食べるベーグルはかなりいけます。船の揺れは海の状況によるので、職業漁師でない限り酔い止めを乗船前に飲んでおき、帰りように１錠荷物に入れておきましょう。貴重品は各自自己管理です。まもなくナパリコーストに到着したら､絶景がまっています。イルカはﾅﾊﾟﾘｺｰｽﾄの海に住み着いているらしくほぼ確実にみれると思います。私のときはさらに幸運なことにくるくるまわってジャンプしてくれました。スピナードルフィンとか聞いたことあるけど､ほんまにそんなこと野生のイルカがするのかと疑っていましたが､ほんとにするみたいです。ナパリを後にして､ニイハウ島に船は向かいます。乗船中クルーの人達はしきりにeverything OK～と聞いてきてくれます。英語なので、もしOKでなくてもOKというしかないけど、気にかけてくれてる感は伝わります。まぁ飲み物いらないかってことみたいです。ｼｭﾉｰｹﾙのポイントはニイハウ島とレフア島の間で､レフア島のすぐ横です。このレフア島は海鳥保護区で、多くの海鳥がいました。モンクシールもお昼寝してました。双眼鏡がほしかったです。熱帯魚もいて、透明度抜群の海ですが､お魚が遠いです。深いところは水深不明。深みには行かないようにいたしましょう。クルーの人もしっかり見張ってくれていました。トイレは２つあり、更衣室はないです。簡易のシャワーはありました。お昼ご飯は、シュノの後にハンバーガーでした。野菜とハム数種類がおいてあり、各自自由に作って食べる形式で、フルーツもでました。朝のベーグルが

When I participated in a tour on Oahu before, I first heard about Niihau Island from the guide's talk, and it stuck with me. So, this time I joined a cruise that goes there. When I think of cruising in Hawaii, I usually imagine sunset or whale watching, but having it in the morning was very refreshing and quite nice. Since I don't usually work out, I didn't snorkel too much (though the underwater scenery was enough to cleanse my soul), and I soaked in the unique, refreshing air above the sea for a while. Still, the taste of beer and wine can feel so much better depending on where you drink them.

以前オアフでのツアーに参加したとき、ガイドさんの話のなかでニイハウ島というのを初めて知り耳にのこっていたので、今回そこに行くクルージングというので参加しました。ハワイでクルージングといえばサンセットかホエールウォッチングというイメージがあったのですが、午前中がメインというのも、とてもさわやかな感じで、またとてもいいものです。普段体をきたえていないということもあって、スノーケルはそこそこにして（といっても海中の光景には十分心洗われましたが）、時間の止まった、海の上独特のすがすがしい空気にしばらく浸っていました。それにしてもビールとワインの味は、飲む場所によってこんなにもおいしく感じるものなんですね。。
