My first trip to Hawaii! I came here for my honeymoon as well! After the ceremony, I thought it would be a great memory, so my whole family enjoyed the Hilton Luau Show Dinner together. The energy and excitement were incredible, and we all started off with a lot of fun. There were traditional dishes, and the food was delicious, catering to Japanese tastes! The intense dancers were really impressive!

It exceeded our expectations! We initially planned to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center because we wanted to see a luau show that wasn't touristy. However, with a short stay of 4 nights and 6 days, the PCC was a bit too far. One of my friends suggested that since the luau show at the Hilton is at a hotel, we could expect good food as well, so we decided to participate in the Star Light Luau Show, prioritizing time efficiency. I think it was wonderful. The buffet-style meal was, of course, great, and the staff's welcoming attitude, service, and the show itself were all very satisfying and of high quality. The beauty of the sunset time was also lovely.

観光化されていないルアウショーを見たかった私たちは、はポリネシアンカルチャーセンターを当初予定していました。
しかし、4泊6日という短い滞在日程で、PCCは少し遠すぎます。
そこで、友達の一人が、ヒルトンのルアウショーなら、ホテルってこともあり、食事も期待できる？と提案し、時間短縮重視でスターライトルアウショーに参加することにしました。

First of all, I think you shouldn't expect too much from the meals. Also, my husband and I both didn't understand much English, so we couldn't follow what the host was saying and couldn't keep up with the atmosphere in the venue. Additionally, when we took a dinner cruise later, there was a similar show, so if you are considering participating in both, it might not be necessary. Furthermore, many hotels host similar shows every other day, so you might be able to experience the atmosphere just by passing by without going out of your way to see it.

また、私たち夫婦は二人共あまり英語がわからなかったので、司会の人が話されていることは全然理解できず、会場内のノリについていけませんでした。

I made this a part of my 2nd nights activities and had a wonderful time. I had shuttle service from hotel free to a gorgeous park. The food was excellent and drinks were very good. I had the Mai Tai and Hawaiian punch. Take a camera because the park is amazing. Smoking is near the bathroom , fyi :) this company has best ratings with trip advisor. I would love to see it again. Oh video camera because no flash photos. You need $20 to purchase the photo taken upon arrival. Have fun!

My wife and I came to the luau with our 4 children ages 18, 16, 14, and 8. We all enjoyed the activities before the meal. The food was great and lots of it. And the entertainment was informative, interesting, and very lively. If you have never done it, I recommend doing it at least once. I would go back for the food alone!

Second time seeing this show. We went for the cocktails and show. Michael Jackson impersonator was my favourite. Not to discredit Elvis and Lady Gaga as they were all very good. Impersonators came out into the lobby after the show to pose for pictures which I thought was a nice touch. Made for a really nice nite out.

I've been to several luaus on different islands and Smiths is my favourite by far. Beautiful property to walk around. Buffet dinner is very organized and extremely filling not to mention the free Mai Tai's. Really nice show of Hawaiin style dance as opposed to the "Vegas" act I've seen at other Luaus. And if you are staying in Kapa'a, transportation is included. Definately a "must do " while you are visiting the beautiful island of Kauai

I have visited the Polynesian Cultural Center several times, so this time I participated in Paradise Cove for the first time. There were few Japanese participants, and most of the communication in the shuttle was in English, so it might be tough if you can't speak it. You can enjoy hula, tattoo experiences, and lei making until the buffet and show start at sunset. A whole roasted pig is brought out, and the buffet offers sliced meat, but the food is quite simple, consisting of vegetable salad, pork, chicken, fruit, and dessert. As for the show, the host's talk felt a bit long, but overall it created a nostalgic Hawaiian atmosphere that I enjoyed.

It was a tour where we could leisurely explore the park, and our guide, Marilyn, was sincere and kind, making it enjoyable. I was impressed by the university students who were running the tour! Their professional performance was surprising and moving. The 4D movie was also great. The lady who picked us up strongly recommended upgrading to the deluxe option, but the standard course was more than enough. The BBQ and seating were excellent, and I have no complaints.

The day after arriving in Maui, I went there. Since I included it in the first half of my stay, it really made me feel like I was in Hawaii! It was a relaxing time. I went with low expectations, thinking that hula dancing was about all there was to Hawaii. I was mistaken... The authentic hula was something else entirely. The women's performances were, of course, great. Even more impressive was the men's hula, which was full of energy!! The fire performances were particularly breathtaking. I can't express it well in words!! If you have the chance, you definitely should go.

The seating was standard, but there were no issues seeing the show. The food was a buffet, so it was just okay. However, I highly recommend this show!!

あまり期待もせず、ハワイと言えばフラダンスぐらいの気持ちで出かけました。
甘かった･･･｡本場のフラは一味違いましたよ。女性は、もちろん良かったです。それにも増して、男性のフラは迫力満点でした!!特に火を使ったものは圧巻です。口ではうまく言い現せない!!機会があれば、是非行くべきです。
席はスタンダードでしたが、なんの問題も無く見られました。料理はビュッフェだったので、まぁそれなりです。

I think it would be even more fun if you understand English, but it's okay if you don't!
The shuttle bus was incredibly enjoyable.
It was so lively that pedestrians pointed at the bus.

There's no need to worry if you miss the meeting time.
After the show, a natural flow of people returning to the bus will form.
The bus number is humorously announced inside the vehicle.
Definitely leave your shy Japanese side behind and join in the laughter.
Just be aware that you might wake up with a sore throat from all the excitement the next day.

You can also experience making leis inside the venue, so don't forget to bring $1 bills for tips.

The history of Hawaii was tastefully and elegantly done. The fire dancer was totally awesome. The chance to meet the cast after the performance was great, it allowed me to connect with them on a personal basis.

For those of use who prepaid for the deluxe accommodations the check in process was not good. There was no express check in. I had to stand in line with everyone else who had not prepaid and who was not purchasing the deluxe package! So the check in process totally circumvented what I paid for. Yes, I got to sit closer to the stage and got a different lei but that was it. So I don't know that the deluxe price was worth it.

The half-day course in the afternoon included a show. We stopped by a souvenir shop on the way, but I wondered if it was a tourist trap... Well, I did buy something, though! I wonder if it was a store where you could earn Ponta points? If I had known, I could have earned quite a few points. What a shame. The facilities at the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) are very large, so you can't see everything in just half a day. The guide who was assigned to us did a great job organizing the program and showing us around. Since we were in a small group, it was comfortable. The show was more impressive than I expected. After going around the PCC and learning about various things, it was easy to understand. It was a bit disappointing that the ice cream during the break ran out quickly and that there was no alcohol during dinner (though I understand why...).

午後からの半日コース、ショー付きでした。往路でお土産屋さんに立ち寄るのですが、ここはtourists' trapかと…。いや、買いましたがｗ。ポンタポイントが付くお店なのかしら？知っていたら随分ポイントになったはず。残念。PCCの施設は非常に大きいので、半日で全てを廻ることはできません。担当になってくれたガイドさんが上手にプログラムを組んで案内してくれます。私たちは小グループだったので、快適でした。ショーは期待以上の迫力。PCCをぐるぐる廻ってお勉強した後なので、色んなことがわかりやすい。休憩時間のアイスクリームがすぐになくなったことと、夕食時にアルコールがないこと（これは仕方ないけど…）がちょっと残念でした。
