I am deaf and participated with my friends, and I was very happy and greatly helped by the staff who were very considerate and kind! The summit of Mauna Kea had breathtaking views and was very moving. I was glad to see the sunset and the starry sky beautifully. I learned how to take pictures of the starry sky from the staff, and I was able to take beautiful photos, which made me the happiest.

私は聾者で友達と一緒に参加したのですがスタッフさんが色々と気遣って親切して頂いたので、とても嬉しかったし大変助かりました!!マウナケア山頂は絶景の連続で見晴らし良くてとても感動しました。サンセットも星空も綺麗に見られて良かったです。スタッフさんから星空の撮り方を教わって綺麗に撮ることも出来たので、それが１番嬉しかったです。

We learned about the island, how to hula, and took some amazing pictures. The Smiths were great

The weather was nice, and the guide and everyone else were very kind, which made it enjoyable. The nature was wonderful, and I really liked it. Since it was a day trip, I couldn't take my time, so I thought I would like to stay longer next time.

天気も良く、ガイドさんを始め皆さんとても良い方で楽しかった。
自然が素晴らしく大変気に入りました。
日帰りなのでゆっくりはできなかったので次回はゆっくり滞在したいと思いました。

I was worried about the bad weather since the day before, but somehow I made it to the summit. I was moved to see a white rainbow before the sun set. Although there were many clouds, I was able to catch a glimpse of the sunset. However, on the way down, there was a snowstorm! Is this really Hawaii?! The guides desperately searched for a spot to observe the starry sky, and we descended quite a bit, but we were able to see a beautiful starry sky.

Since this tour is heavily influenced by the weather, if you expect too much, you might feel a bit unsatisfied. Next time, I want to see the sunrise.

前日から天気が悪く心配しましたが、どうにか山頂まで到着。太陽が沈む前に白い虹を見ることができ感動。雲が多かったものの、どうにかサンセットを見ることができました。ただ、下山中吹雪！これがハワイ?!って感じで。ガイドさんたちが星空観測できる場所を必死で探してくれてだいぶ下まで降りてきましたが綺麗な星空を見ることができました。
天気に左右されるツアーだけにあまり期待しすぎると物足りないかもしれません。
今度はサンライズを見てみたいな。

Haleiwa doesn't offer much in terms of shopping or sightseeing, so without activities, there's not much to do. That's why our guide, who also drove, took us to Turtle Bay. I think the free time plan is for those who want to relax a bit.

ハレイワはショッピングや観光で時間は潰れないので、アクティビティなしだと何もやることがないです。それで、案内と運転の兼任の方がタートルベイまで連れて行ってくださいました。
フリータイムプランはちょっとのんびりしたい方向けだと思います。

I participated with my husband. About eight years ago, I joined the same tour, and there was stargazing with telescopes, but that was not included this time, which disappointed my husband. I think it was due to the weather, but it would be disappointing for first-timers. The sunset was wonderful. However, it was extremely cold, so my previous experience was helpful. I think it's a good idea to bring Heattech or similar clothing.

主人と参加しました。八年前くらいに私は同じツアー二参加しましたが、望遠鏡による星空観測がありましたが、それが無くて主人はがっかりしていました。天候の関係化と思いますが、初めての人には残念だと思います。サンセットはすばらしかったです。ただものすごく寒かったので、前回の経験が役立ちました。ヒートテックなどを持っていくといいと思います。

This tour was chosen because Hana's was fully booked. The guide worked hard to explain everything, but since they weren't very proficient in English, it was tiring to try to understand. I recommend it for those who are good at English.

One thing to note: this tour has a separate fee for tips, which can add up to quite a bit. I realized this after signing up. It's fine for those who have a budget to spend luxuriously. The vehicle was nice, and you can enjoy a picnic atmosphere.

このツアーは、ハナの行くのが一杯になっていたので、選択したツアーです。
一生懸命ガイドの方が説明してくれるのですが、英語があまり得意ではないので、理解しようとするのが疲れました。英語が出来る方におすすめです。
一つ注意が。このツアーはチップが別料金になっているのが要注意です。チップも加えるとかなりの高額になります。申し込んだ後で気がついたことです。贅沢に使える資金がある方にはOKですよ。車もいいですし、ピクニック気分を楽しめます。

Love the new theater and addition of ss Missouri. I was there 20 yrs ago it it much better. Very easy to purchase with veltra and a good value.

It would have been nice if it was something you could enjoy just by looking at it, but it was really presented like a traditional play, so I didn't understand it well without any explanations in Japanese. However, before the show, they taught hula dancing in the square and did some painting, which was enjoyable, so that was good.

目だけで見て楽しめる感じだったら良かったのですが、本当伝統を劇みたいな感じでみせてくれるものだったので、日本語で説明もなくよくわからなかったです。でもショーの前にも広場でフラダンスを教えてくれたりとか、ペイントしてくれたりとか楽しませてくれたので、それは良かったです。

great place pearl harbor, full of history and sadness

It was raining dogs and cats, so the Pearl Harbor tour was shut down on that day...We only saw a video of Pearl Harbor...luckly we still have USS tour, we had wonderful time in the battleship!

We liked the one day pass for us. We rented a car so we arrived went to the sub first, then Pearl Harbor memorial, the museums and then the USS Missouri . We went at our speed on our time. We really enjoyed it. A must for first time visitors!

We participated as a couple, and it was amazing. First of all, our guide, Mr. Konno, was great. There were 13 participants, which was the maximum capacity, but he was attentive to each person, providing explanations during the transfers, suggesting photo spots and poses, and even timing for bathroom breaks, making everyone feel like a VIP.

The tour was well-structured, with warm drinks when it got cold and cookies when we felt a bit hungry—services that really hit the spot. The only downside was that the cold weather gear could have been a bit cleaner; I wish they had washed it beforehand.

Despite the forecast predicting "90% chance of rain" that evening, we were lucky as the clouds cleared up in the afternoon. By the time we left the hotel, it was said to be "probably okay," and along the way, we saw a rainbow near a mountain, a herd of wild sheep at the foot of the mountain, a sea of clouds, the peak of Mauna Loa peeking through the clouds, a beautiful sunset, and a sky full of stars, even enjoying the red glow of Kilauea volcano.

All the tour participants were wonderful, and we had a great time together. This is a well-planned, highly recommended tour!!!

夫婦で参加しましたが、最高でした。まず、ガイドの今野さんがよかった。定員一杯の13名参加でしたが、移動途中の説明や、写真撮影のスポットやポーズ、トイレのタイミングまで、一人ひとりを気遣ってくれて、全員VIP気分になれたと思いますよ。
ツアーの構成も、寒くなったら暖かいお飲み物、小腹が空いたらクッキーと痒い所に手が届くサービスでした。
ただ一つ、防寒具がちょ～っと…、洗濯しておいて欲しかったけど…

その日は「夜は90%雨」の予報だったのに、ラッキーなことに午後からどんどん雲が流れ去って行き、ホテル出発するころには「たぶん大丈夫でしょう」とのことで、道中すぐ近くの山には虹、山麓に野生の羊さんの群れ、一面に広がる雲海、雲海から顔を覗かせるマウナロアの頂、夕焼け、そして一面の星空、そしてキラウエア火山の赤い光までも楽しむことができました。
ツアー参加者全員とても素敵なメンバーで、仲良く楽しく過ごせました。
上手にプランされた、お勧めのツアーですっ！！！

In my childhood, I often looked at the stars. It was during the times when I would get scolded by my father for being mischievous. The guides who showed us around this time had a wealth of knowledge about the stars, which was wonderful. When they asked about the participants' constellations and pointed them out, I thought, "That's clever." Thank you, Yamachan. I'm already getting older. I'm okay with becoming a star anytime, but before that, I want to go on my third star observation tour. It was a day full of charm.

少年時代は☆を良く見たものだ。それは、いたずらして父親から殴られての“☆☆”だった。
今回案内してくれた方々は、よく☆の知識が豊富でとても良かった。参加者の星座を聞きそれを指してくれるところは「ニックイね。」山ちゃんありがとう。私はもう歳です。いつ☆になってもいいですが、その前に３回目の☆観測ツアーに行きたい。そんな魅力のある日でした。

It became my best memory on the Big Island of Hawaii.

At first, it was cloudy, and I wasn't sure if I would be able to see the stars clearly, but it gradually cleared up!

I was able to see a beautiful sunset, and above all, the starry sky was amazing.

With the new moon, I was able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars, which was the best!

The guide's stories were interesting, and I was told that the photos taken with the starry sky can be downloaded from the website later.

If you're going to the Big Island, I would recommend this tour.

It became a wonderful memory.

はじめは曇っていて星がはっきり見えるか微妙でしたが、
段々晴れてきて！

夕陽も綺麗に見れたし、何より星空が素晴らしかった。

新月なのも重なり、天の川や流れ星もみる事が出来て最高でした！

ガイドさんの話も面白く、星空と撮った写真は後日、
HPからダウンロード出来るとの事。

ハワイ島に行くなら、オススメ したいツアーでした。

We participated as a family. Unfortunately, the summit was cloudy and we couldn't see the sunset, but the stars were magnificent! They used a telescope to capture the moon's craters on my smartphone, and I was very satisfied! Next time, I will go back to try to see the sunset again!

家族で参加しました。あいにく山頂は曇りで夕日は見れませんでしたが、星は満天でした！望遠鏡をつかって、月のクレーターを私のスマホで撮影してくれて、大満足！次回は夕日をリベンジしにいきます！

I just wanted to stay warm, so I layered on some random clothes to participate, but... I really regretted that we looked so uncool when we could have taken so many beautiful photos (laughs).

It was like a scene from Mars. (Of course, I've never been to Mars.) It was cold, but it was worth it!

まるで火星のような光景でした。（もちろん火星に行った事はありません）
寒かったですが、それだけの価値はあります！

I had a really fun day riding the pineapple train and exploring the town of Haleiwa. The Japanese guide was very entertaining and kept us engaged throughout the ride. They also took us to a recommended garlic shrimp place and to some special spots, which made me very satisfied.

パイナップル列車に乗ったりハレイワの町を散策したり、本当に楽しい一日でした。
日本人のガイドさんがお話の楽しい方で車内ではずっと楽しませて下さいました。
ハレイワのガイドさんオススメのガーリックシュリンプ屋さんにも連れて行った下さったり、とっておきのスポットに連れて行って下さったり、大満足でした。

This was an awesome tour. The driver was local and gave lots of information about the area...what it used to be and what it is now. Many changes in 45 years. There was plenty of free time to explore. That was the best!

Perhaps the timing of our visit was unfortunate. The summit was shrouded in clouds. We gave up and descended to the Onizuka Visitor Center, waiting for the weather to improve, but without seeing any clear skies, we had no choice but to return home in tears. It was supposed to have a 90% chance of clear weather, so we never expected this.

Still, the guide that day did not give up until the end and tried to show us the stars. They explained the few stars we could see and made great efforts to take creative photos.

Ten years ago, I was moved by the sunset and the star-filled sky at the summit, and I really wanted to show it to my 70-year-old mother. I wanted her to know that such a wonderful place exists in the world. I would like to try again.

山頂はブリサード。
諦めてオニヅカビジターセンターへ降り、天候回復を待ちましたが、晴れ間が見れることもなく、泣く泣く帰るしかありませんでした。
90%の晴天の確率のはずがまさかこんなことに。
それでもその日のガイドさんは最後まで諦めずに私たちに星を見せてくれようとして下さいましたし、ちょっとだけ見られた星について説明して下さったり、工夫を凝らした写真の撮影を
して下さったりととても努力して下さいました。

私は１０年前に山頂の夕日と星だらけの星空に感動して、７０歳の母にどうしても見せてあげたかった。世界にこんな素敵な場所があることを知ってほしかったのです。
また再チャレンジしたいと思います。

Harry is a great guide with plenty of energy, he will make sure you have a good time and show you some of the best places to hang out. You can lay on the beach and chill out of take part in a host of activities.

Very much enjoyed it. Despite heavy rain the guide did a great job, and helped my wife win a special request.

I participated in a movie location tour and a jeep tour. I had no expectations for the jeep tour at all. As we climbed up roads that seemed impossible to access, we reached breathtaking viewpoints that made us gasp in awe. The beautiful gradient of the ocean and the vast scenery of the ranch were stunning. It was a moment when I felt grateful to be alive.

映画ロケ地めぐりとジープツアーに参加。全然期待していなかったジープツアー。こんなとこ行けるのっていうような道をどんどん上がっていくと、思わず歓声の上がる絶景ポイントが。なんともきれいなグラデーションの海と、広大な牧場の景色。生きててよかったと思った瞬間でした。

I signed up for this tour because I was with my mother-in-law. It was an English tour, and I was happy that the crew took care of us. However, the water in October was cold, and there were some waves. Additionally, there weren't many fish, and there weren't many dolphins either. You can swim in the sea, but I think snorkeling might not be that great.

義理のお母さんと一緒なので、このツアーに申し込みました。英語ツアーでしたが、クルーの人たちは私達を気にかけてくれて嬉しかったです。
ただ、10月の海の水は冷たいのと少し波がたかかったです。あとは、あまり魚たちがおらず、イルカもあまりいませんでした。海では泳げますが、シュノーケルはいまいちかなと思います。

Felix, our guide, was HILARIOUS and FULL of trivia information about the memorial and all the Hawaiian islands! Loved seeing the sights in downtown Honolulu and hearing it's history. Don't miss the opportunity to speak to and thank the WWII vets that are usually there at the memorial - priceless! The only thing that we missed was actually going ON the USS Missouri (Big Mo) and the submarine there. The sub cost an extra $10, but we didn't have time to go on. Access to Big Mo was not offered.

After arriving at Lihue Airport, I met with our guide, Mr. Y. We had an hour and a half before merging with the other four groups of guests. During that time, we drove to Angel Falls. Despite being caught in the heavy rain typical of eastern Kauai, we enjoyed the waterfalls and mountain roads. Since we still had some time, we stopped by the only Walmart on Kauai and quickly picked up some souvenirs. It turned out to be a good decision to shop here, as we didn't have time to stop later.

After returning to Lihue Airport and meeting up with the other guests who arrived on a different flight, we quickly toured the major attractions of Kauai. The Fern Grotto was, of course, a classic experience in the pouring rain. On the ferry down the Wailua River, there was a live hula performance, and I was able to request a few songs. The southern area of Poipu and the western area of Waimea were under clear skies. I was able to experience the various faces of Kauai. Mr. Y, our guide, was a proactive individual who was captivated by Kauai and made the move to live there, yet he remained calm and composed. His guidance was thorough, polite, and easy to understand, reflecting his extensive knowledge. As expected from a former elite (laughs).

On our return to Oahu, the other four groups of guests had an earlier flight than ours. We wanted to take an earlier flight as well, but our booking was originally for a later flight, so we were taken to Lihue Airport together (laughs).

At the modest airport, there wasn't much to do for about an hour, so I ended up sitting on the waiting area sofa with my wife, engaging in a pun battle and passing the time with silly conversations (laughs).

リフエ空港到着後、ガイドのY氏と落ち合う。他の客人4組との合流までに1時間半もあるという。その間、エンジェル・フォールズへドライブ。カウアイ東部特有の土砂降りの豪雨にさらされながらも滝と山道を堪能。まだ少し時間があるのでカウアイ島唯一のウォルマートに立ち寄り。早々にカウアイ土産をゲット。後々、立ち寄り時間は無かったのでここで買い物しておいたのは正解。
再度リフエ空港に戻り、別フライトで到着した他の客人と合流後、カウアイのメジャーな見所をさっと足早に見回る感じ。シダの洞窟はやはり定番の豪雨の中。カイルア川くだりのフェリーではフラの生演奏。何曲かリクエストさせてもらったりして。南部のポイプ、西部のワイメアは抜けるような晴天。カウアイの様々な表情が体感出来た。ガイドのY氏は、ハワイの中でもカウアイに魅せられ移住を実現した行動派ながら冷静沈着。懇切丁寧でわかりやすいガイダンス。勉強量の豊富さがうかがえた。さすがは元エリート（笑）
オアフへの戻りは、他の客人4組ともが我々よりも1つ早いフライト。どうせ帰るなら我々も早めにフライトしたかったが、ブッキングは元々1つ後のフライトということで、リフエ空港に一緒に連れて行かれる（笑）
これといって何もない質素な空港で、小一時間程特に何もすることもなく、待合のソファに座って嫁とダジャレ合戦をしたり、バカ話で時間をつぶすしかなかった（笑）

I participated with my daughter. It was my first experience riding a horse, and I was nervous and excited, but it was fun. The guide was very attentive and made us laugh.
