Julien kept us well (but not 'over' informed. To fly over some of Oahu's hot spots gave us another dimension altogether. We were captivated from start to finish.

My experience during my previous visit was so wonderful that this was my second time. It's difficult to communicate unless you have at least a basic understanding of English, but there are Japanese staff members on-site.

At the beginning, you have to sign various waivers on a machine, but you can easily manage with Google Translate. I went alone both times without knowing much English, and I managed just fine.

One thing that caught my attention was that there are different height plans. I happened to become friends with a Japanese person on the same flight, and it seemed they had a different height plan, but we took off from the same place at the same time. I don't really understand feet, so I'm not sure how that works in practice.

Still, the experience itself is something I think everyone should try at least once in their life. The support from the person flying with you was perfect. I will definitely use this service again.

One of the things I wanted to try at least once in my life was skydiving. This site made it easy and affordable to make a reservation, and on the day of the jump, a car arrived to pick me up at a clear location. This was my second helicopter tour, but it was my first time sitting next to the pilot. The view was wide and I highly recommend it. You can see down very well, so this tour offered great views of the waterfalls and canyons. I think 50 minutes is just the right length.

The pilot was very kind and cheerful. He seemed to be a former military pilot, so his skills were definitely impressive. All the staff were also very friendly. There are many wonderful views on the Big Island that you can't see from a car or land, so I think taking a helicopter tour to see them from the sky is a great experience. I've heard that during periods of volcanic eruptions, reservations fill up quickly and it's hard to get a spot. Definitely give it a try!
