The weather was cool, cloudy, windy and even a little rainy. We still had a great time. The music was amazing! The food was good, and served shortly after we left the dock. The boat provided protection from the elements. The crew was fun and friendly. When we arrived on the sandbar we were able to kayak, and paddle board. There was a large area of buoys they asked us to stay within. They had lifeguards in the water with us. They had us wait to snorkel and recommended a very specific spot to snorkel. I was confused at first, but they knew what they were doing. The sun came out, the tide came up a bit, the variety of fish was amazing. As soon I would drift out of the recommended area the coral and fish were less plentiful. Our group of 8 had a great time, and if the weather had been nice 5 wouldn't be enough stars. The music alone was work the price. Don't hesitate to book this trip.

Our Makana tour with Capt Mike, Lionel and his brother was AMAZING. The crew was friendly, energetic, full of historical facts and catered to every person's needs. The boat was sturdy and powered across the Pacific with ease and no one got seasick In fact, it was almost like a roller coaster ride at times and so much fun. We had the perfect "winter summer day" with great conditions for snorkeling, going inside a sea cave and heading close to shore. We highly recommend this tour and will absolutely do it again when we return. It was the best part of our vacation and we loved every minute!

I was a bit anxious because I saw some unsatisfactory reviews for the week I was participating, but it turned out to be great. There was music during the trip, and we got to do stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling—all for a very reasonable price. It was my first time seeing fish swimming up close in the ocean. It was truly moving. I actually wanted to go to the heavenly sea, but I was very satisfied with this experience. I was grateful that I was able to make a last-minute reservation. All the staff were very cheerful and kind. I want to participate again!

Went for a morning tour with my parents and two of my kids, everyone love it!!!! They give you some bread to feed the fish so that we see a lot of fishes swimming around during snorkeling. From beginning to end the crew made everything easy, relaxing, fun and super special!!!! They were excellent with giving instructions and support to make us feel confident and comfortable in the water. The special attention to my 8yo daughter was above and beyond! We saw lots of turtles and beautiful fish. Kainoa even took my daughter around on the surf board and back to the boat when she needed a break so I could keep swimming! I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone! We want to do it again!!!!

The weather was windy and the sea was cold, which was disappointing, but overall it was a good day.

It's a free plan where you can set your own schedule. I think it's a good idea to think about the places you want to visit in advance.

We first rented bicycles and snorkeling gear, and then headed to Lanikai Beach. It took about 10 minutes by bike.

They also told us the best spots for snorkeling, and we quickly jumped into the water. We borrowed life jackets, so even though it was windy, we were able to float and see underwater. I was surprised to see so many different kinds of fish swimming in the shallow water—I didn't expect to see that much! It was cold, so we got out quickly, but I want to try again on a hot day.

For lunch, we had the pizza included in the plan. It was very large and satisfying.

In the afternoon, we went to Kailua Town, but since I hadn't done much research on the shops and didn't have many places I wanted to visit, we just wandered around and ended up not doing much.

If the weather had been better, I would have loved to enjoy the sea more...

I want to try again.

とても大きくて満足です。

午後はカイルアタウンに出向きましたが、あまりお店の下調べをしておらず、行きたいところもそこまでなかったのでぷらぷらして終わりました。

天気が良ければもっと海を満喫したかったです…

On the day of our visit, the water level was low, but both adults and children had plenty of fun snorkeling and with the Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP). We also got to see sea turtles up close, which made the kids very happy—it was the best experience!

After a week in Hawaii, this one has proved to be the highlight of our trip. The boat ride was smooth and comfortable under the shade, especially later in the day. The captain and crew were so kind and helpful, one of the other passengers got seasick and they offered plenty of remedies (ginger candies‚ who knew). Shoutout to Jennifer and Bob who were great with the snorkeling and super knowledgeable about the fish and the area. If you are considering this tour do it!

It was a tour that successfully crossed Hanauma Bay while navigating around the reef during low tide in the morning. Unfortunately, the turtles couldn't come into view because the tide was too low. Instead, we were able to see many fish. We started after listening to Dan's easy-to-understand explanations. There was appropriate support for the children, and I was able to enjoy snorkeling while taking in the scenery.

We enjoyed the adventure very much. The crew were friendly and very helpful, we saw a mother and baby whale bottle nose dolphins all around our catamaran . when we got to the spot to snorkel with the turtles the crew really went out of there way to make sure everyone had a great time.
I would highly recommend this adventure if you come to Honolulu.

I participated with my 15-year-old and 12-year-old children. I was really looking forward to it and even changed our schedule after checking the business hours, but we were told that Kimo's was closed. We were directed to a nearby pancake place, but we had to go there on our own. Some lunch spots were also closed, and for lunch, we had to go and pick it up ourselves. Unfortunately, the pizza was just average. Other than the round-trip shuttle, we had to handle everything ourselves. Since the option for Kimo's was no longer available, we rented bikes, but riding right next to cars with rude drivers was particularly dangerous, especially with the kids.

I was able to snorkel while holding the hands of my inexperienced children, which made the parents feel at ease.

Even in the shallow waters, we were able to see many vibrant fish and had a wonderful time!

There was a seal lounging on the beach, which seemed to be quite a rare sight, so we were lucky!

I was a bit disappointed because there were hardly any fish. The scenery is beautiful and the water is clear. However, if you're expecting to see a lot of fish at Hanauma Bay, it doesn't make sense to go since there are almost none. There may have been many in the past, but now...

Waiting for a long time to enter and paying a high admission fee just to catch a glimpse of a few fish here and there isn't worth it. The rental equipment is clean, even if it's reused, and the driver was nice. However, being crammed into a car with other guests isn't comfortable, and if there are no fish to see, it raises the question of the tour's value. I think the decrease in tours to Hanauma Bay is due to its diminishing appeal. Still, I believe it's great that such tours exist for those who really want to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay.

However, the seawater temperature was low, and the wind was strong, making it feel like a punishment despite the high cost. I was really disappointed. There were no sandbars either.

We participated in a sandbar tour for the first time as a couple. The weather was perfect, and we were able to enjoy the best sandbar and snorkeling experience.

There were staff members who spoke Japanese fluently, which made us feel at ease.

One point that concerned us was that there was no mention of tips in the tour details, and we only brought minimal valuables. On the day of the tour, just before leaving, the staff announced about tipping, and since we didn't have any cash, we felt a bit guilty as we just passed it by. I recommend bringing at least a little cash with you.

The briefing before boarding was perfect, but after boarding, she gave off a vibe that made it difficult to approach her, so I couldn't ask any questions. However, all the other staff members were very kind.

Overall the experience was amazing! It was a first for both my husband and I and the kids. The crew did a fantastic job. They provided clear instructions, ensuring we were all safe and had many opportunities to see the sea turtles among a plethora of wildlife along the reef. I would not hesitate to book this again.

I do think it was a bit disorganized with adults and children going down the ladders and then needing to come right back up, leaving patrons that had not had a chance to get in the water a 10 min leg time.

Also, a female crew member was wearing a thong bikini bottom which I have no problem with - wear one!! However, the male crew members continued to smack her bottom or spray it with the defogger. I’m not sure that the female crew member cared but definitely not acceptable now a days!
