Minako, who speaks Japanese, was always by our side as our guide, which made us feel very safe and allowed us to enjoy ourselves! We encountered a pod of dolphins twice, and they came right up close, allowing us to see them well. We also encountered turtles and sharks, making for a very memorable experience! Thank you to Captain Brian, guide Sarah, Koha who resembles Bruno Mars, Peter, and Lucas.

イルカの群れに２回も遭遇できて目の前まで接近してきてよく見れたし、亀とサメにも遭遇してとても思い出深い体験ができました！船長のブライアンさん、ガイドのサラさん、ブルーノマーズ似のコアさん、ピーターさん、ルーカスさんありがとうございました。

There were many participants from various countries on the tour, and this time we were the only Japanese, but we had no particular inconveniences and enjoyed ourselves.

ツアー客は色々な国からの参加者が多く、今回、日本人は我々だけでしたが、
特に不自由することもなく、楽しめました。

Following Kailua last May, this time we went to Hanauma Bay.

For the local tour, we had the following conditions:
- We wanted to arrive by 7 AM, which is the entrance time.
- We wanted to have a longer stay.
- We have our own snorkeling gear, so we needed a tour that didn't include rental costs.

This is why we chose this tour. On the day of the tour, the weather looked questionable, but they kindly agreed to let us start earlier than the scheduled time, which turned out to be a great decision.

Now, about the sea... While the water clarity was high, the reef was disappointing (more like rocky formations than coral), and there were few fish.

Most importantly, it was shallow! Too shallow. If you try to swim, you might end up getting stuck on the rocks. Therefore, wearing long-sleeve rash guards and leggings is a must, along with gloves and marine shoes (fins would be ideal) to avoid injuries.

On the positive side, I've snorkeled in various seas, but this was the first time I saw a red parrotfish, which is a female of the longfin parrotfish species. Be sure to look for it!

Also, since there was a bit of wind, it would be better to have a simple beach tent with pegs instead of just an umbrella.

昨年5月のカイルアに続き、今回はハナウマ湾へ。
現地ツアーの条件として
　・入場時間である7時には現地に着きたい
　・滞在時間を長めにしたい
　・シュノーケル器材一式あるので、費用に含まれていない事
という事で選んだのが今回のツアー。
当日、天候が怪しくなった為、申込時の時刻から早めてもらう事も快諾いただき、大正解でした。
さて、肝心の海ですが・・・・・・透明度は高いものの、リーフが残念（珊瑚というより岩礁）で魚影も少なく・・・・・
何より浅い！浅過ぎです。無理に泳ごうとすると、岩礁に乗り上げます。
なので、長袖ラッシュ＆レギンスはもちろん、手袋とマリンシューズ（できればフィン）が無いと怪我します。
良かった点として、色んな海でシュノーケルしてますが、初めて紅いブダイを見ました。ナガブダイの雌との事。ぜひ見つけてみて下さい。
それと少し風があるので、パラソルではなく、ペグ付き簡易ビーチテントがあると良いですよ。

It's an English tour, but as long as there's one person in the group who understands English, there shouldn't be any problems. (This is because there are explanations about the video on the bus and the meeting times.)

On the way there, we watched a video about entering Hanauma Bay, and the driver shared interesting information about Hawaii. Once we arrived, we were able to pass through the reception quickly since we had already watched the video, and from there, we had free time until the meeting time.

The moment we arrived, the view was incredibly beautiful, and I felt it was worth coming as soon as I saw it. I brought my own snorkeling gear and swam to see the fish. However, there are many rocks in shallow areas, and I got injured while being focused on the fish. Everyone, please be careful.

We took the bus back after 1 PM, and the time flew by. I would love to use this service again when I visit Hawaii next time. It was a lot of fun. Thank you!

英語のツアーですがグループ内に1人英語がわかる人が入れば問題ないです。
(バスの中でのビデオや、集合時間などの説明があるため)
向かっているバスの中で、ハナウマベイに入るためのビデオと、運転手さんがハワイのことを面白く説明してくれました。
着いてからはビデオ鑑賞が済んでいるので受付をすぐに通過でき、そこからは集合時間まで自由時間です。
着いた瞬間にとても綺麗な景色が見えるので最高でした。見た瞬間に来てよかったと思えます。
シュノーケルを持参したので魚を見て泳ぎました。ただ、浅い所に岩が多いので魚に夢中になっていたら怪我をしました。みなさん気を付けて下さい。
帰りは13時過ぎのバスで帰ったのですが、時間はあっという間でした。
次ハワイに訪れた際も利用したいです。
楽しかったです。ありがとうございます。

The morning departure was worth it for the calm waters and clear visibility at Molokini Crater, where we saw an incredible variety of tropical fish and coral.

We got to see plenty of tropical fish and even a sea turtle up close, which was the highlight. As well, the crew was friendly teaching the ropes to the scooters!

The snorkeling sites were beautiful with clear water, colorful coral, and plenty of tropical fish to see.

I was glad to book a tour with transportation included here! I was worried because the entrance reservations sell out quickly, just two days in advance, so I decided to book this one even though it was a bit pricey. The bus pickup and entrance were incredibly smooth and comfortable. For the return bus, it was originally scheduled for the 3 PM slot, but they were able to accommodate a change to the 1 PM slot on the day of!

Hanauma Bay is fun with lots of fish even in the shallow areas. Although it was already May, the sunlight was weak in the morning, and it was cold due to the strong wind, so I would like to visit again during a warmer time or season. Thank you very much!

こちらで送迎付きツアーを予約して正解でした！2日前の入場予約がすぐ売り切れるとのことで不安だったので、少しお高いですがこちらを予約しました。バスのお迎えも入場もスムーズすぎて快適でした。帰りのバスは、元々15時台の予定でしたが当日13時台に変更も対応していただけました！
ハナウマ湾は浅瀬でもお魚沢山で楽しいです。5月に入っていましたが、午前中は日差しが弱く、風も強くて寒かったため、次はもう少し暖かい時期か時間に行きたいと思います。ありがとうございました！

It was a participation in weather that had rain for the first time in 20 years. The sea was gray, the water was above our chests, and the white sand was invisible. Moreover, due to the extreme cold, we ate cup noodles on the returning boat (laughs). By the way, both of us had slight stomach issues from the cold. On bad weather days, definitely cancel!!

２０年ぶりの雨模様という天候での参加でした。
海は灰色、水は胸以上、白い砂は何も見えず、さらにあまりの寒さに、戻る船でカップヌードル食べました(笑)ちなみに２人とも、寒さでややおなか壊しました。

Had an amazing excursion with Kaneohe! One of the absolute best days spent on the water. Booked with a group of 8 for the afternoon sail, played vball, snorkelled, paddle boarded and a huge thanks to Cal who took us out for a quick boat trip to see turtles and lucky enough to see a tiger shark!! Amazing music by the very talented musicians on board, we sang along to all their songs.. could’ve sailed for all day long! Huge thanks to the entire crew for one of the most memorable days we’ve ever had on vacation xo

We decided to take the Sunset Dinner Cruise on the NaPali Coast. Holo Holo Cruise could not have been any better.
Great Crew! Great & unlimited drinks and food! Cruisers that are kind and fun and ez to talk with. We saw dolphins and one whale from far away. A Beautiful Evening😎

We were in Hawaii in mid April right after the major storms and while they were still experiencing a significant amount of rain over what is typical for that time of year. Despite that, this excursion was still one of the major highlights of our trip.

My husband and I had done this on a previous trip to Hawaii and had such a wonderful time that we decided to do both morning and afternoon half day packages and to bring a friend this time around.

The water, while a bit chillier than last time was no where near intolerable, and the fish to feed were plentiful. The staff is very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience.

**I want to highlight that this portion is not a guaranteed experience, nor is it typically included in the package we paid for, but want to include it as an example of how far above and beyond the staff will go to ensure a fantastic experience. They have a wonderful array of activities to do, but the wildlife interaction was the primary reason my group was there and the staff noticed this. Because I had booked both half day experiences and that was our primary interest they took us on a special boat ride to see the sea turtles AND we also got to see manta rays which normally are not on this side of the island. The person driving the boat was exceptional and very informative if you asked questions. She also knew how to ensure you got the most out of seeing the animals without disturbing their natural environment which I really appreciated as an observer. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and it wouldn't have happened without the wonderful and thoughtful staff.

Money well spent and already planning to do the same again the next time we are in Hawaii.

The weather on the day wasn't great, but the staff set up a volleyball net, and playing volleyball in the ocean was amazing.

当日は天気はイマイチだったがスタッフがバレーボールのネットを張ってくれて海の中でのバレーは最高でした。

I made a reservation two days in advance after checking the weather. I participated in the morning tour because I wanted to make the most of the tide and the time of day. Even though it was sunny in Waikiki, it was cloudy at the location. However, during the second half of our free time, the sun came out, and I was able to take photos just as I had imagined. The staff's response was also wonderful, and I highly recommend this tour.

This is a place I have always wanted to take my family to. Currently, the bus service has been discontinued, and entry requires a reservation in advance. It feels a bit daunting, so I decided to join a tour.

I chose a tour that departs early in the morning and allows you to select your return time.

First, there was a pre-trip briefing on the tour bus, which made me feel very reassured. Upon arriving at the site, the entry was smooth, and we quickly reached the bay.

During our time in the bay, I made sure to bring drinks, snacks, and rice balls (with ice packs). We spent 90 minutes in the morning, took a 90-minute break, and then enjoyed another 90 minutes of snorkeling.

My family seemed to have a great time snorkeling. The bay, with the tide fully out, made it easy to observe the fish, and we saw many of them.

For lunch, we indulged in some sweets and had a hearty meal, taking a short break before enjoying the afternoon thoroughly.

Marine shoes are a must. While rentals are available on-site, I prefer using my own snorkeling gear that I'm accustomed to. Since there is quite a bit of sunlight, I recommend placing your belongings in the shade and bringing a tent. I brought extra bath towels to help regulate my body temperature.

Returning was also smooth, making it easy to get back to the hotel, which I think makes planning evening activities more convenient. I would love to go again.

今は、路線バスも廃線となり、入場も事前予約が必要になります。
敷居がたかく、ツアーで参加にしました。
＊朝早い便で向かい、帰りの便を選べるツアーにしました。

まず、ツアーバスの中で事前に説明もあり、とても安心です。現地に到着すると入場もスムーズですぐに湾内に到着できます。

湾内で過ごす間の、飲料とお菓子、おにぎり（保冷剤）はしっかり準備して持ち込みました。
午前中に90分、休憩に90分、午後90分、しっかり休みをとりシュノーケルしてきました。

家族は、シュノーケルがとても楽しかったようです。
潮がしっかり引いた湾内は、お魚が観察しやすく
沢山見ることができました。

お昼は、甘いものもとりしっかり食べて、少し休憩もはさんで、午後もしっかり楽しみました。

マリンシューズは必須。
現地はレンタルもありますが、使い慣れた自身のシュノーケルセットが良いです。
日差しはそれなりにあるので、木陰に荷物を置くが、持ち込みテントをお勧めします。
私は体温調整しやすいようにバスタオル多めに持っていきました。

帰りもホテル側の送迎場所までスムーズに帰ってくるため、後も楽で夕方の予定が組みやすいと思います。
また行きたいです。

Originally, we were able to watch a video at the entrance of Hanauma Bay, but instead, we watched it on the bus. This allowed us to smoothly enter the bay with guidance from the tour staff upon arrival, and we were able to start snorkeling right away.

Although there seemed to be fewer fish than I expected, the ocean was incredibly beautiful! Additionally, I was lucky enough to witness a monk seal coming ashore, which was a delightful experience!

As more people gradually arrived, I recommend going early in the morning. The bus offers many options for departure and return times, which is great because you can participate according to your own schedule.

The return bus provided drop-off service to each hotel, and the tour staff were very kind. I had heard that it was difficult to get tickets, so I was grateful that this tour was available.

本来ハナウマ湾入場口で視聴するビデオをバスの中で見れるので、現地に到着してからは、ツアースタッフに案内されてスムーズに入場、そしてシュノーケルを始めることができました。
魚は思ったより少なく感じたものの、海はとても綺麗でした！
また、たまたまモンクシールが陸に上がる瞬間に出会えることができて、楽しかったです！
だんだん人が増えてくるので、朝一から行くことがおすすめですが、
バスは行きと帰りの時間の選択肢が多いので、自分のスケジュールに合わせて参加できるのも良い点です。
帰りのバスは1組ずつホテルまで送迎してくれて、とても親切なツアースタッフの方々でした。
なかなかチケットが取れないと事前情報を知っていたため、このようなツアーが開催されていて助かりました。

I had a great time!!

We were blessed with good weather, and since I had learned snorkeling from a professional during a different activity the day before, after kayaking and other activities, we enjoyed snorkeling for over an hour. I swam with the fish and observed them!

I also participated in the banana boat and bumper tube rides, but the splashes were quite strong, making it hard to keep my eyes open for a long time, so I thought it would have been better to have goggles!

天気に恵まれたというのと、前日に別のアクティビティでプロの方にシュノーケリングを教わっていたということもあり、カヤック等をした後は1時間以上シュノーケリングを楽しみました。魚と一緒に泳いだり、魚を観察したりしました！
また、バナナボートとバンパーチューブに参加したのですが、結構水しぶきが強く目が開けられない時間が長かったので、ゴーグルがあった方が良いかなと思いました！

Even those who can't swim can participate without any issues! There's no need to worry about what to bring or changing clothes. If you minimize your valuables, you won't have to worry about your belongings, and you can enjoy a comfortable ocean experience. I was able to fully enjoy Hawaii while listening to live music.

I participate in this tour every time I come to Hawaii. It's reassuring to have a Japanese guide. The lunch hamburger is also delicious. This time, the weather wasn't great, but the sandbar was shallow, calm, and very beautiful. While the weather and the chance to see fish and turtles can be a bit of luck, it's always fun!

ハワイに来た時は毎回このツアーに参加してます。日本語ガイドさんも居て安心です。ランチのハンバーガーも美味しいです。今回は天気はイマイチでしたがサンドバーが浅くて穏やかでとてもキレイでした。天気、魚や亀に会えるかは運なところもありますが、いつも楽しいです！

I was looking forward to enjoying the sandbar, but it didn't appear on the morning ferry during Golden Week. However, the stand-up paddleboarding experience at waist height was not scary, and I could see my feet clearly; the sea was beautiful, and it was really great. Also, snorkeling was fun because they provided fish food, which attracted the fish. Overall, I was very satisfied.

ですが、腰くらいの高さでのsup体験は、怖くなく、足元もよく見えて、海も綺麗で、とても良かったです

Great attitudes by the guides. They told us interesting facts about the plants and made jokes the whole time. Our family had a great time ! We would do it again!

During the round trip by boat from the harbor, there were two singers and live performances. While enjoying the beautiful sea, I had a wonderful time surrounded by relaxing music. There was only one changing room, so I hurriedly changed out of my swimsuit, but I think those who stayed in their swimsuits must have been quite cold. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sandbars or turtles. We could do stand-up paddleboarding, but maybe it wasn't necessary to go all the way to Kealoha Bay?

ハーバーから船での行き帰りに、二人の歌と生演奏があった。綺麗な海を眺めながら、ゆったりと音楽につつまれながらとても良い時間を過ごせた。更衣室が一つだけだったから慌てて水着から着替えられたけど、そのままの方は、かなり寒かったのではないかと思う。運が悪かったかサンドバーや亀はみられなかった。SUPができたけどケワロ湾まで行く必要なかったかも⁈

Overall, I was quite satisfied.

First of all, being able to see a sea turtle up close was the biggest highlight, and it was worth participating just for that. I thought there might be some luck involved depending on the ocean conditions, but we were able to encounter them, which really boosted my excitement.

Also, it was great that I could enjoy the experience even with almost no English skills. The guide's explanations were simple, and they were conveyed well through gestures and the overall atmosphere. As long as I understood the basic flow, there were almost no situations where I felt lost.

全体的にかなり満足度高かったです。
まずウミガメを至近距離で見られたのが一番大きくて、これだけでも参加した価値は十分ありました。海のコンディションや運次第な部分もあると思っていたけど、しっかり遭遇できてテンション上がりました。
それと英語がほとんどできなくても問題なく楽しめたのも良かった点です。ガイドの説明はシンプルで、ジェスチャーや雰囲気で十分伝わるし、最低限の流れさえ分かっていれば困る場面はほぼありませんでした。

We had a wonderful time with great guides and a fantastic experience. It gave us a new perspective on snorkeling, and we definitely plan to go again on our next trip here. We saw all sorts of different fish.

I had a truly wonderful time! The waves were very calm, allowing me to enjoy snorkeling at a leisurely pace. What made me happiest this time was that I was lucky enough to see a seal! It was so cute resting on the sandy beach, and this unexpected encounter warmed my heart.

Even under the strong Hawaiian sun, a pleasant breeze flows through when you find shade, making it very comfortable. The time spent relaxing and gazing at the sea from under the trees during breaks from snorkeling was pure bliss.

The contrast between the emerald green sea viewed from the high ground and the lush greenery surrounding the bay is breathtakingly beautiful. It was the perfect activity to enjoy nature at a relaxed pace amidst stunning scenery that looks like a painting from every angle!

波がとても穏やかだったので、のんびりとシュノーケリングを楽しむことができました。そして今回何より嬉しかったのが、運よくアザラシを見られたことです！砂浜で休んでいる姿がとても可愛らしくて、思いがけない出会いに心が温まりました。
ハワイの強い日差しの中でも、日陰に入ると心地よい風が吹き抜けて、とても快適に過ごせます。シュノーケリングの合間に、木陰からのんびりと海を眺めながら休憩する時間はまさに至福でした。
高台から見下ろすエメラルドグリーンの海と、湾をぐるりと囲む豊かな緑のコントラストは息をのむほどの美しさです。どこを切り取っても絵になる絶景の中で、大自然をゆったりと楽しむことができる最高のアクティビティでした！

I was surprised that instead of the usual van-type vehicles used for OP tours, we had a large tour bus. It seems that you can check your luggage like on a night bus (this may vary depending on the number of participants).

It's convenient that we can watch the rules guide and history video inside the bus instead of at the entrance of Hanauma Bay. However, it seems there were some issues with coordination between the main office and the site, as some people had their bus assignments changed on the spot based on the course. (The guide will inform you, so you won't be left behind.)

よくあるOPツアーの送迎に用いられるバンタイプの車ではなく、大型の観光バスだったのでびっくりしました。夜行バスの要領で荷物も預けられるようです(参加人数によって異なるかもです)。

本来ハナウマ湾入場口で視聴するルールガイドや歴史のビデオをバスの中で見れるのは便利です。
ただ本部と現場の統制がうまく取れていないのか、コース別で分乗するバスの乗車車両がその場で変更になっている人がいたようです。(ガイドさんが教えてくれるので置き去りにはならないです)

This was a fun cruise to a beautiful sandbar! The live music on the cruise was amazing! Would do this again!
