We sped along to the Napali Coast. The waves were strong, and I got seasick.
While we were traveling by boat, we encountered a pod of dolphins and were able to stop the boat for some watching.
The dolphins entertained us by jumping and even doing flips.
The sunset was also magnificent.
Additionally, we were able to go whale watching.
On the way there, there was a buffet with light snacks like crackers and cheese, and for dinner, we had a buffet with chicken, fried rice, pasta, and salad. The food was delicious.
The staff was friendly and attentive, always with a smile.

It was a cloudy day during the rainy season, but I was able to enjoy it without any downpours. I was amazed when a sandbar suddenly appeared from a depth of 10 meters! I didn't bring reef shoes, so I walked barefoot, which was a bit painful on the soles of my feet (laughs). During snorkeling, I was really happy to see beautiful fish and sea turtles up close! The weather in Hawaii in January was not great. This time, there was light rain from the morning, it was a bit chilly, and the wind was quite strong, which made me worry. However, the staff created a very fun and bright atmosphere for the participants who were feeling down. When we actually arrived at the sandbar, the rain stopped, and the water was surprisingly not too cold (everyone borrowed free wetsuits). After taking photos at the sandbar and returning to the boat, we saw a sea turtle swimming around the boat. Everyone's low spirits instantly lifted, and we started taking lots of pictures. There was also a snorkeling lesson in shallow water, where we swam about 10 meters to see if we were okay before going to deeper areas, which was great for beginners. I thought I couldn't do it because I can't see anything without my glasses, but they lent me prescription goggles, so I was able to give snorkeling a try. The waves were quite high, but I managed to get through, which was good. My first snorkeling experience was amazing; there were lots of coral reefs below me, and I could see colorful fish swimming around. Plus, I even encountered a sea turtle, which was fantastic. By the time we were heading back, the clouds cleared, and the sun came out, making the sea sparkle beautifully. I never thought snorkeling could be this wonderful. 1月のハワイは天気がイマイチ。今回も朝から小雨がパラパラ、肌寒く、風もなかなか強くて大丈夫かと心配でした。ブルーな参加者達に対して、スタッフさん達はものすごく楽しく明るく雰囲気づくりをしてくれました。実際サンドバーまで到着すると、雨はあがり、海の中も思いのほか寒くなく（無料のウェットスーツをみんな借りました）サンドバーで写真撮って船に戻るとウミガメが、船の周りを回っていました。みんな低かったテンションが一気に上がって写真を撮りまくっていました。シュノーケリングも浅瀬でレッスンがあり、10メートルくらい泳いでみて大丈夫そうなら足のつかないところに行くという、初心者にはありがたいものでした。私は眼鏡をとったらなんにも見えないので無理だと諦めていましたが、度付きのゴーグルを貸してくださったのでシュノーケリングにチャレンジできました。波がなかなか高かったけどなんとか進めたので良かったです。初シュノーケリングは最高で、眼下にはサンゴ礁がたくさんあり、カラフルなお魚がいっぱい泳いでいるのが見れました。しかもウミガメにも遭遇できて言うことなしです。帰る頃には雲も切れて晴れ間見え、海がキラキラして素敵でした。シュノーケリングがこんなに素敵だとは思いませんでした。素晴らしい体験ができて嬉しかったです。またホテルからピックアップしてくださったドライバーさんもフレンドリーで素敵でした。スタッフの方々にはほんとに良くしていただき感謝です。ハワイに来たらまたこのツアーに参加したいです。

This time, I participated with my 6-year-old son, and he decided not to go snorkeling. I thought I would have to skip snorkeling too to stay with him, but the tour staff member kindly said, "Don't worry, I'll look after your son. You and your partner can go ahead!" The weather was gloomy all day. The staff spoke to us in Japanese, so I was able to participate without any anxiety. Everyone was kind and taught us well.

I had plans in the morning and was looking for a tour in the afternoon when I found and booked this one. The guides spoke Japanese and were all friendly. The meal was a simple buffet, but with a 360-degree oceanfront view from the boat. The taste may vary depending on personal preference, but it was a luxurious lunch.

While snorkeling, I saw several sea turtles on the ocean floor, and I could see them up close! However, it can be cold in late December if it's not sunny! It's a good idea to have a warm rash guard, bath towel, and a change of T-shirt that you can wear on the boat.

I enjoyed the stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) without any additional charge, but due to safety concerns, the area where we could paddle was quite limited. Standing and paddling would end quickly, and we kept having to turn around and repeat that.

One disappointing thing was that one of the guides threw the leftover juice he was drinking into the sea. I was disheartened to see a guide, who is supposed to protect the beautiful Kaneohe Bay surrounded by coral reefs, throwing juice into the clean ocean.

シュノーケルをしていると、海の底にウミガメが何匹もいて、間近で見る事ができます！
しかし、12月下旬の晴れていないと寒いです！
必ず船の上で着られる温かいラッシュガードやバスタオル、替えのTシャツとかがあるといいですよ。

SUPが追加料金無く実施出来て楽しめましたが、安全上の問題で、SUPの出来る範囲がかなり狭く立って漕ぐとすぐに終わり。また、Uターンし、立って漕ぐと終わり。の繰り返し…でした。

残念だった事は、ガイドさんの1人が飲んでいたジュースの残りを海に捨てていた事です。
珊瑚礁に守られた美しいカネオヘ湾を守るガイドさんが、綺麗な海にジュースを捨てるなんてガッカリしました。

Two years ago, I participated in a tour swimming with dolphins on the Big Island of Hawaii and was moved by the many dolphins I saw. This time, I'm challenging myself with manta rays. There were four Japanese people, including myself (I participated alone), and about 15 foreigners in the mixed tour. The boat moves at an incredible speed. First, we enjoyed the sunset.

After that, we entered the sea where the mantas come. Then, we just floated and relaxed while waiting to encounter the mantas. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we encountered two small mantas. We then moved to another location and were able to see three large mantas as well. When I saw them, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!"

Since the boat moves quite fast and you just float and wait in the water, I think it's safer to take motion sickness medication even if you're not prone to seasickness.

I asked a couple of questions via email, such as, "Can I participate alone?" and "I'm joining another tour in the morning; will I make it in time for the pickup?" The responses were smooth and good, which is why I gave this rating.

船はかなりのスピードで進むのと、海中ではただひたすら浮いて待つので、酔いやすくない人でも酔い止めはのんでおいたほうが安心だと思います。

「一人で参加できますか？」「午前中に別のツアーに参加していますが、ピックアップ時間は間に合いますか？」など２,３度メールで質問しましたが、対応もスムーズで良かったので、この評価にしました。

I participated on December 31st, New Year's Eve. The staff were bright and friendly, and I had a great time on the bus! The day I joined, it seemed like the highest waves of the year were coming in, so I was worried about seasickness, but out in the open water, the waves weren't that bad, and I was fine. However, I think taking motion sickness medication is a must. Also, bananas are not allowed.

You can rent a wetsuit for $10, and I highly recommend doing this. Almost everyone rented one, and those who didn't ended up borrowing one after getting cold from being in the seawater. Make sure to bring cash.

As for the dolphins, they didn't show up for a while (they said they don't feed them at all), and it took some time to finally see them. However, they didn't swim close like in other people's photos; they just glided by at the bottom. This is something that can't be helped when dealing with nature.

It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't go snorkeling at the spot we were supposed to due to rough seas, and we spent a lot of time searching for dolphins, leaving us with very little time for snorkeling. However, all the staff were really nice, and I had a great time, so I'm very satisfied.

I definitely want to try again!

ウェットスーツを10ドルでレンタルできるのですがこれは絶対した方がいいです。ほぼ全員レンタルしており、してなかった人も一度海水から上がると冷えてきたのか結局借りてました。
現金持参しておきましょう。

肝心のイルカですが中々姿を現してくれず(餌付けは全くしてないそうです)時間かけてやっと見れましたが他の方の写真のような直近で泳いでたわけではなく、底の方をスーと通りすぎる感じでした。こればかりは自然相手なので仕方ないと思います。

海が荒れており本来行くはずだったスポットでシュノーケリングが出来なかったのと、イルカ捜索に時間かかっ
たのでほとんどシュノーケリングの時間がなかったのは少し残念でした。
ただスタッフさんみんないい人ばかりで楽しく時間過ごせたので大満足です。

またリベンジしたいと思います！

It was really great. Actually, I went dolphin watching on Oahu, but I didn't see any dolphins at that time. However, before going to see the mantas on this tour, I was able to see them from the boat. Plus, we also saw whales! The boat was going really fast, and it was a lot of fun. I took motion sickness medication, so I was fine with the boat ride. The mantas were incredibly large, and I was super excited to see them up close. My husband brought an underwater camera, so we were able to take great photos. I thought it would be cold in December, so I prepared thoroughly, but it wasn't as cold as I expected. It was so much fun!

We have been snorkelling a couple of times but this was different. We saw so many turtles and fish. Great fun for our teenage kids. The boat team were fun, experienced and professional. The boat was spotless and well maintained. The sail after snorkelling was a bit rough going out due to the weather but that made it more fun! Coming back was smooth and relaxing. The company did not state the name of the snorkel boat. My cab driver could not locate the boat and others had no idea what boat we were to go on. Later we noted in small print a reference to the name of the boat doing the cruise.
The cruise personnel were very nice but the only thing I was upset about was a mask they swapped with me that leaked. This limited the enjoyment of the snorkel experience. Otherwise I would recommend the snorkel cruIse. Sorry, I forgot the name of the boat.

Becoming aware early in the morning a boat is needed to go to the beautiful Kane’ohe sandbar, I called Veltra trying to make a same-day kayak booking (online booking must be made a day beforehand). The lady was warm and patient to help check availability and input personal data of four participants - most important of all get 2 tandems confirmed for our trip! When we checked in at He’eia Kea State Park, water in the bay was a bit choppy, yet not enough for a formal cancellation. Two ladies in our group saw the condition creepy and had to abandon the adventure. As on the phone I was informed no cancellation can be made for the same-day booking, we had to forgo using 1 of the 2 double kayaks. Well, the trip of two-go is simply AMAZING!

It was the best sea! You can rent bodyboards, snorkeling gear, and mats for free. The sand is fine and the waves are strong, so snorkeling is difficult. I got hooked on bodyboarding! The pizza for lunch was big and very delicious. The kids finished it all! There is a Japanese staff member who provides thorough explanations, which is reassuring. There are also bicycle rentals, but since it's for ages 13 and up, we couldn't do that and enjoyed the sea the whole time. Thank you very much.

【What I Liked】
It's not just exaggerated promotional phrases; you can really swim with the sea turtles. I was also able to see dolphins up close. The sea turtles and dolphins in the area we were taken to seemed to be quite relaxed and accustomed to humans. They were truly adorable...
Additionally, the Japanese staff were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. I participated in a couple of other marine activity tours, but this one stood out for its exceptional kindness. I highly recommend it!

【Advice for Future Participants】
Definitely take motion sickness medication. I usually have a strong sense of balance and have never experienced seasickness, but I got quite seasick on this tour... I don't usually exercise, so swimming was very tough for me, and I think that contributed to it. In any case, it's better to take the medication, so make sure to do so!!

【気に入ったところ】
　大袈裟な宣伝文句ではなく、本当にホヌといっしょに泳げるところです。イルカもかなり近いところから見ることができました。連れて行っていただいた海域のホヌやイルカは警戒心が薄く、人間に慣れている感じがしました。本当にかわいかったです……。

Snorkeling in the crystal-clear, calm waters of Kealakekua Bay was enjoyable for the kids as well. We were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins, and they were playing chase with our boat. It was adorable!

The second deck of the boat offers fantastic views, but it sways quite a bit more up there. During the one-hour ride to the snorkeling spot, even passengers who usually don’t get seasick were feeling pretty worn out.

Lunch was a simple barbecue on board. It had an American-style flavor, but if you embrace that, it can be enjoyable. However, I was surprised that the soft drinks were only carbonated and that what was labeled as tropical fruit juice was actually a tropical cocktail (an alcoholic drink).

This tour has a predominantly English-speaking, mostly white crowd, so if you're feeling a bit weary of tours filled with only Japanese people and want to experience being abroad, I recommend it. Additionally, the snorkeling spot has calm waves, making it a good option for first-time snorkelers and families with children aged preschool and up.

英語オンリーの白人多めのツアーですから日本人ばかりのツアーにちょっと辟易して、海外に来たぞという気分を味わいたい方にはオススメです。
あと、シュノーケル場所は波が穏やかなのでシュノーケリング初体験者や幼稚園児以上の年齢のお子様がいらっしゃるご家族にもいいかもしれません。

The transportation was also great, with a cheerful guide who spoke fluent Japanese, providing sightseeing information and recommendations for delicious places, making for a fun and engaging time. I was initially unsure about joining a guided tour, but I definitely recommend it.

Additionally, after participating, you can get commemorative photos taken underwater, which you can upload to social media, making it a truly comprehensive experience with excellent cost performance.

Great experience all around. We arrived, check in process was super efficient and we got onto the boat and in the water on time. The crew was well coordinated and found the optimal spot for us to view some mantas.
We saw two total, one passing by several times and very closely (belly almost touching our light board).

I participated in this tour for the first time in seven years. The members were the same as seven years ago, so it was fun to see people who had changed in appearance and those who hadn’t changed at all.

Now, the guide who picked us up in the morning spoke suspicious Japanese, and during the car ride, he explained everything in English without any warnings, and we arrived at the destination. Even there, the explanations were in English, and just when I was wondering about it, he finally explained in Japanese, which relieved my whole family.

At the local boat, they provided proper assistance in Japanese. What was wonderful was that we had about an hour for sandbar, turtle watching, and snorkeling, so even my wife, who can't swim, had a great time snorkeling with a life jacket and float. Perhaps we looked like we were having too much fun, as my parents in their 70s decided to try snorkeling for the first time! However, they needed help right away ( ;∀; ). They said they were still okay, but I think it was a nice decision to get assistance.

For lunch, we had hamburgers, which were very delicious, and I wanted a second helping. Also, the crew here was very cheerful and lifted our spirits with their "Aloha!" greetings. The guide who picked us up in the morning played the guitar and sang during lunchtime, which seemed to be part of his job. Overall, it was a great experience. I would like to participate again when my daughter is able to snorkel.

現地の船では日本語できちんと対応してもらいました。すばらしいのは、サンドバーとカメウォッチ、さらにはシュノーケルが１Ｈぐらいあったので、泳げない嫁でも、ライフジャケットと浮棒？でとても楽しくシュノーケルをしていました。今回あまりに私たち夫婦が楽しそうにみえたのか？、７０代の両親がシュノーケリングに初挑戦！！したところ・・・すぐにヘルプで助けられました( ;∀;)
本人曰くまだまだ大丈夫だったはずと言っていますが、やっぱり助けて頂いたのはナイス判断だったと思います。
ランチは、ハンバーガーでしたがとてもおいしく、おかわりがほしいくらいでした。また、ここのクルーはとても陽気でアローーーーーーーハァーのあいさつで気分を楽しくしてくれました。朝迎えに来たガイドは、ランチタイムに、ギターを弾いて歌っていましたが、結局それが仕事みたいでした。全体的にとても良かったです。娘がシュノーケリングできるようになったらまた参加したいと思いました。
