Great day on the water!

Saw lots of turtles and fish! Boat was clean, safe and well staffed. Bring a hat and lots of sunscreen. Crew of 5 and it was easy to get equipment on and ready. Our group had about 33 which was a lot - made for close quarters at times and a line at the stairs. Crew was quiet and all business … they were likely sick of tourists at this point. Beautiful pictures and scenery. Really nice catamaran.

Had wonderful time at the sandbar playing volleyball. Lots of fish to look at during snorkeling at the reef. The crew was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their involvement with the guest made the excursion.most memorable.

Book early, fun trip! This was recommended to me by a coworker who visited a month before my family. Glad I took her advice, loved it! We were upgraded to a private boat and loved our guide. He took us to the regular spot as well as a more private spot. We got lucky and saw many honu both big and small. It also helped that the weather was perfect. Definitely will do this trip again next time we’re at this island.

Captain Cary and Shannon are a mighty crew of 2! Cary is a good Texas boy who has lived on Maui for many years… But that Texas hospitality shines through! The man is packed with personality, and genuinely loves his job. He and Shannon both shared so many fun facts and interesting details during our trip. They packed lunch and breakfast for everyone which were outstanding and could not have been friendlier nicer or more accommodating the entire time start to finish! When our original destination was less than ideal he explained to the passengers why it would be in our best interest to go someplace else and he was exactly right! I’ve never encountered more knowledgeable or happy go lucky and fun loving captain. The boat is small so you will have lots of time to interact with Cary and Shannon and he will get more time in the water than on any other cruise. They know where to look for all the things you want to see… You will not be disappointed. If you only book one thing on Maui book this charter!!!

I can not express how perfect our day was going to Lanai with Trilogy.
I have always wanted to go to Lanai so my friends booked this Birthday excursion. Captain Casey and his crew exceeded our expectations!
From the moment we check in and got on board the beautiful catamaran we were treated like VIPs. The hot cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and fruit and were delicious.
As we came into the pristine Lanai Harbor the crew again were amazing in escorting us to the bay to snorkel. They made sure we has sunscreen and were constantly insuring our safety in and out of the water. We also purchased the photo package and I will always cherish the amazing above and below water professional photos.
We headed to the Harbor Pavilion for a hot lunch cooked and served by the crew. It was so good we had ate until we could not chew anymore.
Sailing back in to Lahaina was almost as fun as snorkeling. The crew were professional yet so fun! Hoisting the sail we glided across the ocean with cold drinks in our hand.
I can not express what a delight it was to be with the Crew of the Trilogy! I will never forget my Best Birthday Ever!

Great time had by all! Great for 7 year olds! The fresh water shower when coming out of the ocean was a special touch. It rinsed the salt water from my hair and suit before returning to dry land! Good food too! Best meal I’ve had on one of these trips!

This was such a great tour! The catamaran ride is fun, the crew were professional and friendly, the snorkeling spot was perfect. All equipment was provided as well as instructions on where to snorkel and where to safely stay in view of the spotters. Saw 5 turtles hangin out on the reef and multiple schools of fish. Just off shore of Waikiki beach yet in open water 40ft deep. Great water clarity and lots of marine life to look at. On the ride back Mai Tais, beer or water are available and the captain rocked some reggae for the ride back to shore. Would definitely do this one again. Be sure to generously tip the crew they deserve it!

We were a party of 7 (4 adults 3 kids) and all of us had a great time. They were on time and the crew was fantastic. They explained safety rules with a bit of humor and made it fun. They swam with us and guided us and pointed out fishes and turtles for us to see. Equipment was acceptable. We had our own snorkel gear, we only borrowed their life vests.

We very much enjoyed this trip to the sandbar, with perfect weather, crystal clear ocean, and amazing views everywhere you look. We saw sea turtles and lots of fish when snorkeling at a beautiful coral reef. We would very much like to do this again sometime, potentially bringing additional friends or family.

Don't worry if you cannot swim! The water is shallow and clear. The staff take time to prepare you with their instructions and tips on kayaking. It only took us 2 hours instead of the 4 even with switching passengers. Make sure you are wearing water shoes or flip flops at least.
Lovely place! The green scenery is breathtaking. I was looking for a coffee shop, maybe I missed it.

My family had a fantastic time on the sandbar cruise. It was our first time.
Every staff member was very friendly and professional. They helped us with everything we needed. Activities on cruise & sandbar was fun and enjoyable.
My kids loved the sandbar & learning how to snorkel there. And the best part is that they serve you lunch and have beer for sale.
We had a great experience and will likely do it again when we return to Oahu.

Ocean Encounters Manta Ray Snorkel Tour - Sunset & Moonlight Cruise from Kona
Only saw a few manta, waited too long in the water before sunset, family all got too cold to enjoy the experience.

Nice people running the boat, but there were SO many boats out there, and other boats had bigger/brighter lights - so they were all "oo-ing" over manta at their sites, and we were on the outskirts, only saw a handful flying by. No barrel rolls under us.
The worst part is you have to take such a long boatride to get out there, and we had to then get into the water and line up on a raft thing waiting at least 10 minutes in the cold water just waiting for sunset to get dark. We could've at least waited until closer to when out it was dark and the rays would come.
Plus my son and I also got seasick, since the waves were so bad - and it wasn't even the ocean that caused it, it was the motion of all the boats coming in. At least 10 other boats out there, figthing to see the manta.
Would definitely not do it again, for the torture in the process.
