Of all the activities we did while in Hawaii, this was by far the best. The staff was very courteous and did everything the possibly could to make sure you had a good time. The ages of our kids were 13-19 and they were a great age to be able to enjoy the beauty of the underwater. I would recommend this to everyone that is old enough to take and follow the directions of the staff.

Our guide Kaileo was a true local who whole-heartedly enjoyed sharing his ocean with us. He was extremely knowledgable and went beyond what other 'mass market' tour companies offer. He lead out our small group and took the time to educate us about the reefs and ocean bottom, showing us turtles, octopus, starfish, eels and countless fish. (allowing us to even hold the octopus and starfish if we so desired!) I'd certainly go back again when in Maui and would reccomend this trip to anyone who is comfortable with the open ocean. Mahalo!

Two-Tank Introductory Boat Scuba Diving Tour & Lesson - Aaron's Dive Shop

Top Notch Operation

Very safety conscious and good people at Aaron's in Kailua. I'm doing my open water certification now (the intro course) with them now. These guys are passionate, patient, and enthusiastic to introduce new divers to the sport. I recommend Aaron's over some of the higher-volume Waikiki-based operations because they're very well-established with locals / military personnel, so it's not so much a numbers operation (not to say anything bad about any of the operations in Town as I haven't experienced them, nor do I care to).

Regarding a previous comment, as a first-time diver on vacation a few years ago I greatly preferred skipping a pool and getting right into the ocean on my first day-dive. Time in the ocean vs a few hours back / forth and in/out of a pool is precious. Comfort of starting in a pool must depend on a person's individual comfort level, but I would think any credible operator will follow the same precautions in the ocean that they would in a pool. Good think to ask about

First, I was taught how to paddle and stand in the shop. Although I could hardly understand Japanese, they taught me multiple times until I understood, so I didn't have any trouble at all.

When we started the lesson in the ocean, I was initially scared of the big rocks and coral and couldn't stand up, but I was able to ride the waves quickly once I calmed down. The coaches were really funny, and while we were waiting for the waves, they chatted a lot, which made it really enjoyable. They encouraged me many times, which motivated me to keep going even when my body was tired!

I definitely want to go again!

最初にショップの中でパドリングや立ち方を教えてもらいました。日本語がほとんど通じなかったのですが、理解できるまで何度も教えてくれたので、全然困らなかったです。
海でレッスンを開始して、最初は大きな岩やサンゴが怖くて立てなかったのですが、落ち着いてやればすぐに乗れるようになりました。コーチ達は本当に面白い人たちで、波を待っている間もいっぱいしゃべってくれてほんとに楽しかったし、何度も励ましてくれてやる気を起こさせてくれるので、体が疲れていても最後までがんばれました！

I was really satisfied because I had decided to do this when I went to Hawaii!
I chose the highest flying plan, and the view was so beautiful that I was moved.
I felt a bit nervous when I had to dip my bottom into the water, but if you don't want to get wet, it's good to let them know before you jump.
It was so much fun that it ended in no time!
I was fine, but I think those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take some medicine before going!
Also, in addition to the tip, you can get photos taken for about $15, so it might be good to bring some extra money.
We only brought enough for the tip, so we couldn't get any photos... that was the only regret.
It will be a great memory, so I recommend trying it at least once!

I really felt like I became a bird! My friend (who has a fear of heights) was able to observe from a boat, and I was worried about riding solo on the tandem, but a female staff member joined me, which made me feel at ease. It was great that I could participate in the parasailing experience with my friend. My friend fell in love at first sight with a Japanese male staff member who gave us a ride back to the hotel, and even after returning home, she keeps saying, "He was so cool!!!" Both my friend and I made wonderful memories.

- It's recommended because three people can fly together! You can enjoy a leisurely conversation while admiring the scenery up in the sky! The moment you take off is incredibly thrilling! ☆☆☆

- Digital camera photography is frowned upon by the staff... If you sit in a position that's easy to take photos, you might be moved. For $15, a staff member will take your pictures. You'll receive a 24-exposure film to develop back in Japan.

- Tips are collected separately, haha. "Please give us a tip~♪" they say... lol

- Inquiries are only in English, which is a bit concerning. However, as long as you don't get the bus stop wrong, you'll be fine! The person in charge of transportation is nice. Mike at the reception is very handsome. You can communicate easily with the staff on the boat! It's safe.

- Motion sickness. While everyone is flying, you have to wait on the boat. It can be quite intense. Please make sure to take motion sickness medication!

First of all, I was impressed by the kindness of Alan1, who sent a reminder email about the meeting time and place through the hotel message counter. There were a total of 10 participants in the activity. Except for one colleague from my company, everyone else was from abroad, which made me feel even more like I was on an overseas trip.

Since I was the fourth to jump, I thought it wouldn't be scary based on the reactions of the people before me, but once I actually jumped, I could see all of Waikiki and it was simply "so refreshing!" However, perhaps because the surroundings were wide open with the ocean, even though it was an extreme ride, I didn't feel like we were 300 meters away. But the boat was small enough that I couldn't see the people on it, so we must have been quite far apart.

Finally, when I was dropped into the sea and dragged for 2 to 3 seconds before resurfacing and landing back on the boat, everyone applauded, and it was a wonderfully fun experience. I highly recommend it for those who are not afraid of heights. Also, since the boat sways quite a bit, I definitely recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are prone to seasickness.

アクティビティ参加者はぜんいんで１０名。私と会社の同僚１名以外は全て外国の方だったので、海外旅行に来ていることが、より実感出来ました。
飛ぶ順番は4番目だったため先の人の反応から怖くないだろうとは思いましたが、実際飛んでみてワイキキ全体が一望出来「気持ちいい~~」の一言です。
ただ周りが海で広いせいか、エキストリームライドだったのですが300メートルも離れているとは感じませんでした。けどボートが小さく乗っている人が見えなくなるほどなので、実際離れているのでしょう。
最後に海に落とされ２~３秒引きずられた後再浮上しボートに着地したときは、みんなが拍手してくれて和気藹々で最高に楽しかったです。
高所恐怖症で無い人には超お勧めです。
またボートがかなり揺れるため船酔いする人は絶対に酔い止めの服用をお勧めします。

My wife did the early morning 3.5 hour trip and we loved it. This was the first time that me and my wife had ever kayaked, the tour guides show you how to do everything from balancing your kayak to getting in and out of your kayak in the open ocean. We seen a pod of dolphins on the way out of the bay, that was great, then we followed the shore line. at one point we were able to paddle into a small cave with a blow hole, and then several members of the tour jumped off the cliff over the cave. It was a bit too high for us so we watched. But we were able to paddle out before the rest with one guide and when we were just around the corner the same pod of dolphins swam under and by us. Several of the dolphins were within touching distance of our kayak. My wife was so in awe she could barely get the camera out! The snacks were yummy and the guides wonderful!. all I can say about this tour is "wow" if you have never ever paddled in a kayak befor no problem with on tour your guides will teach you how get in and balance yourself, how to hold your paddle, how to paddle toeghter, how to get in and out of your kayak in open water even if you have never done it before because that person was me. My wife and I had the best time toeghter trying to see everything thats going on around you. After they show you how to do everything you just start paddiling out of the bay with your guides along the coast line. Just as we rounded the corner a pod of dolphins swaw by us they were about 100 yrds away from us but what a treat. We stoped for a short break and they showed us how to get in and out of the kayak in the open ocean, then we went cliff to the blow hole paddled in and out of the cave jumped off the cliff then went around to another bay to have lunch and snorkle. This was probably my favorite thing I did in Hawaii. I was scared at first and made them bring me up, but I tried again and had to close my eyes as I was being lowered in the water. It was awesome once you got under water and could see all the fish. We got to feed them bread. We even saw a huge sea turtle while we were under there. It was the most unique thing I had ever done and would love to do it again. It's definitely something everyone should try and do while they're there.

This is a day-long somewhat physically challenging adventure, with a little bit of everything for the physically active adventure seeker. There is a lot of uneven hiking terrain involved, so just make sure you're physically up to the conditions.

My husband and I have different ways of looking at the world. If you are familiar with the left brain/right brain descriptions, that's us. He is logical, likes order, and is an analytical thinker. I am creative, naturally chaotic, and a brain storm kind of thinker. We both loved this tour. We are a little above average fitness-wise, however, we haven't had many outdoor adventures. The way this tour was set up we were given instructions and guidance so we could experience the beauty of Kauai without the experience neccessary to do this on our own. The kayaking was so much fun my husband and I agree we would both like to learn more about it. We weren't sure about the ziplining, but that was a lot more fun then we expected. The swim around the waterfall was awesome! One of the guides led us under the falls and it was beautiful. The staff was great! They did everything they could to make our day fun. I would highly recommend them and this tour.

Before heading to the sea, I was taught how to stand on the board inside the shop. The instructor taught me in broken Japanese, but once we got into the water, the instructor spoke only English except for a few phrases like "paddle," "stand," "come here," and "danger." I don't understand English at all, so even if I had questions or things I wanted to know, I couldn't get my point across, which made me anxious in the water.

I had surfed once in Japan just for fun, so I could manage somewhat without starting from scratch, but my companion was a complete beginner and not very athletic, so they struggled with paddling. I felt like we were left to fend for ourselves, and I don't think it was a very good school.

There were about four instructors in the water (with many students), and one of the Black instructors was particularly strict, to the point of being harsh. He would push his board towards students in front of him without any concern, which could have caused serious accidents.

I think it would be tough for someone with no surfing experience and no understanding of English.

海に向かう前に、店内でボードに立つ立ち方を教わりました。その先生は日本語（カタコト）で教えてくれましたが、
海に入ってからの先生は、日本語は全く理解できず、「こいで」「立って」「こっち来て」「危ない」以外は全て英語でした。

サーフィンは日本で１回遊び程度にやった事があるので、いちから教えてもらわなくてもそれなりにできましたが、私の連れは全く初めてで運動もできる方ではなかったので、パドリングもうまくできなかったのですが、放置されたり、あまりいいスクールではないかなと思います。

海の中の先生は４人くらいいましたが（生徒はいっぱい）、そのうちの黒人の先生は特に厳しいというか、ひどかったです。前に生徒がいるのにそこに向かって平気でボードを押されたりして、ぶつかったら一大事なのに。。。

サーフィンの経験が全くなく、英語も全くわからない方は厳しいと思います。

I thought it would be scary, but when I actually went up in the air, I was moved by the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Even though the wind was strong, there was hardly any shaking, and I regretted not bringing my camera.

While I was up there, a rainbow appeared, which made the experience even more amazing. I think it lasted less than 10 minutes, but I was completely satisfied. I felt like I wanted to try it again and again. The staff only spoke English, but they were bold and fun people. Those who can't speak any English might feel anxious, but I think as long as you understand some words, you'll have no problem enjoying it.

I highly recommend it!

怖そうだと思っていましたが、実際上空へ行くと周りの景色のすばらしさに感動。風が強くても揺れはほとんど無く、カメラを持っていかなかったことを後悔したほどです。
上空にいた際、ちょうど虹が出ていて感動倍増。10分も無かったと思いますが、大満足。何回でもトライしたい気分でした。　スタッフも英語しか話せませんが、豪快で楽しい人達。英語がまったく出来ない人は不安かもしれませんが、単語さえ理解できれば問題なく楽しめると思います。

Our guide Cal....... (Hawaiian name) was supurb. We went the year before but this year was diferent because this guy made our trip exceptional. He was with us every minute, dived to bring us up a octupus and taught us about marine life. No laziness. If we go again it will be because of this guide.

I love parasailing, so whenever I go to a resort abroad, I always do it. The extreme height is quite impressive. Flying over the ocean while feeling the wind is the best! It feels amazing! The view of Honolulu is also great. Towards the end, you splash down into the water up to your waist. Overall, it was so much fun!

However, since most of the instructions were in English, I was a bit confused about which car to take on the way back.

We went parasailing for our honeymoon with my husband for the first time! Everyone else participating was a foreigner, but they all friendly talked to us and we took pictures of each other. Most of the explanations were in English, but important points were explained with gestures and in Japanese. The instructor was also very lively, shaking the ropes and playfully dropping us into the sea, which made it a lot of fun. Since it was our honeymoon, the instructor kindly celebrated with everyone at the end.

I was a bit confused about where to go before and after the ride, but there was a natural flow, so I just followed everyone.

There was no waiting time, and the view of the sea and Diamond Head from above is a must-see!

I participated with my husband on our honeymoon. It was our first time doing parasailing together, and we were really looking forward to it. The weather on the day was perfect, truly ideal for parasailing! The view from the sky was wonderful and felt great. The staff were very friendly, and we had a fun time. I highly recommend it.
