Skydiving was my husband's dream. As someone who is not fond of heights, I initially had no intention of participating. However, I thought that if I didn't jump with my husband, I probably would never jump alone in my life, so after much hesitation, I signed up. If you have even a slight interest, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I chose a package that included video and photos, but the content varies depending on the cameraman. My husband's cameraman and instructor were fantastic, and the photos and videos turned out really well.

It's better to have some English skills, but you can manage with gestures (my husband can speak a little, but my level is below that of a modern elementary school student). They don't provide insurance, so I made sure to get skydiving insurance before leaving Japan, just in case.

I loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone coming to Kauai for their 1st or 10th time! This tour is the perfect level of activity with the 2 mile kayak breezing by and the 1.5 mile hike not feeling very strenuous. Izzy was so kind and accommodating towards everyone in our group regardless of our fitness level. She made the tour feel more personalized, which was so special. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful, and words don't do justice to how refreshing the water feels. Izzy also provided our group some recommendations for Farmer's Markets and restaurants on the island, which I will keep in mind for myself and others' future trips!

I traveled to Kualoa Ranch by shared sightseeing bus. Since there were many Japanese people, I felt at ease, but I was a bit anxious because the explanations were in English. For the horseback riding experience, there was a staff member who understood a little Japanese, and the video lecture was in Japanese, which was helpful.

Finally, it was time for horseback riding, but the horse I rode was quite stubborn, and we had some trouble starting. However, I was able to enjoy the two-hour ride. The view of the mountains and the sea from the saddle was breathtaking. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, and I felt a bit disappointed thinking about how wonderful it would have been if the weather had been nice. Also, backpacks were not allowed, so I had to put mine in a paid locker, but I wanted to keep my valuables with me. It would be good to have a slightly larger waist pouch.

いよいよ乗馬となったのですが、私の騎乗した馬がなかなか言う事を聞いてくれなく出発に手間取りましたが、何とか2時間の乗馬を楽しむ事が出来ました。騎上から見る山、海は絶景でした。あいにくの雲空でしたが、天気が良かったらどんなに素晴らしいかった事か少し残念でした。それから、リックサックはNGで有料ロッカーに入れましたが貴重品は身に付けておきたいですよね。少し大きめのウエストポーチがあると良いですよ。

I recently went Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours / Standard Daytime Horseback Rides and unfortunately, it was not well organized. The whole experience seemed uncoordinated, and the pictures taken were unusable due to the way we were positioned.

I gave them 3 stars mainly because the two ladies we interacted with were nice enough, and the horses were well-behaved. However, the walk itself was not very scenic, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn't do it again.

It's fun, but it really smells like harnesses! If you're debating between a buggy and a zipline, I might recommend the zipline. It feels like you're sliding in a well-maintained environment, so there's less thrill, but on the flip side, the safety is excellent, making it great for first-timers on a zipline. There are places to drink water along the way, so you don't need to bring any with you.

We had the classic garlic shrimp from North Shore Tourism in the light rain.

I participated in January and had so much fun that this is my second time joining. We start in groups of a few vehicles, and when we get out at the photo spots, there were many English speakers last time, so the explanations were thorough. This time, there were more Japanese participants, so the explanations were shorter, but they took a lot of photos for us. My friends who joined me also really liked the four-wheeler and didn't want to switch the steering wheel (laughs). Whether it's sunny or rainy, I recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, as they will protect you from dust and rain, so bringing a raincoat is advisable. (Raincoats are also available for purchase at the shop.)

I had the best memories from my first experience at Mauna Kea! Since it was a full moon, I was worried about whether we would be able to see the stars or reach the summit due to the rain forecast, but the weather on the day was perfect with no wind and no clouds. We were the only Japanese participants, but the guide spoke fluent Japanese, which made me feel at ease. The detailed explanations of the constellations, the observation of the full moon, and especially the sunset at the summit were unforgettable experiences. I will participate again.

First, let's talk about the ages of the participants. There were two couples aged 59 to 70. The driving was handled by a 59-year-old housewife who usually drives a compact car around town. If you're wondering about your age and whether to join, I highly recommend it!

On the day of the tour, it was pouring rain during check-in, so I bought a poncho for two dollars at the shop (which turned out to be mostly unnecessary). Fortunately, the ground was wet, so we didn't get covered in dust. A few days later, my son and his wife, who joined the same tour in sunny weather, laughed about how they got covered in dust, including their luggage. Lockers are available for five dollars and can be opened and closed multiple times, so I recommend using a locker for items you don't want to get dirty (they offer support in Japanese, which is reassuring).

We were thrilled by the magnificent scenery, saying, "It feels like a dinosaur could fly in at any moment!" Since I don't understand English, I think it was better to enjoy the tour without having to listen to the English commentary on the bus.

It was so much fun that I never gave up the driver's seat (if you show your driver's license at check-in and get a band on your wrist, you can switch drivers when the bus stops at sightseeing spots). We took a tour from 10 AM to 12 PM with transportation included and returned to Waikiki on a 1 PM bus.

I think it would be good to book your tour times to avoid long wait times for the return bus.

楽しすぎて運転席を一度も譲りませんでした（受付で免許証を提示して手首にバンドを付けてもらえば途中の見学スポットで停車した時に運転手交代OK）。
私達は送迎付き10〜12時のツアーで13時出発のバスでワイキキへ帰りました。
帰りのバスの待ち時間が長くならないようにツアーの時間等を予約されると良いかと思います。

Once we took off and reached a safe altitude, the piloting experience began. The piloting time was quite long, with 40 minutes of the 60-minute flight dedicated to actually flying.

It's the best experience to be able to pilot without a license. It is a bit pricey, but I would love to participate again.

The flight route is determined by the weather on the day, and I flew along the west coast route from Pearl Harbor to Haleiwa, the westernmost point at Kaena Point, and Ko Olina.

The area near Kaena Point was clear and sunny, and it was such a beautiful place that I was more captivated by the scenery than by flying.

I was told that I could take photos freely, but I was having so much fun piloting that I didn't have time for that. However, the instructor took quite a few photos, and the ground staff also took pictures when we departed.

Additionally, as long as it doesn't cover your ears, you can always use an action camera for filming.

I made a reservation because my father wanted to go.
We participated as a family of three, and it was very thrilling and fun to race through rough paths and run on mountain roads!
(It might be tough if you're not used to driving...)
We had plenty of time and were able to go at a leisurely pace, but it went by in a flash.
After it was over, our clothes were, of course, covered in sand... haha.
Even with goggles, you still get dirty, so it's best to wear something you don't mind getting dirty!
It is somewhat pricey, but I will definitely go again when I visit Hawaii!

My first horseback riding experience in Hawaii at Gunstock Ranch became a wonderful memory! The instructors were kind and attentive. (I can't speak English, but I managed just fine!) The horses were gentle and smart, making it easy for beginners like me to ride comfortably. You can feel the richness of the animals living freely on the vast land.

Riding the horses while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery of Hawaii was a fantastic activity!

It took just under two hours to get to Gunstock Ranch by the Bus, but the changing scenery made the time fly by. I’ve decided that the next time I go to Hawaii, I will definitely go horseback riding at Gunstock Ranch again!

It was incredibly refreshing and felt amazing! Since we drove on bumpy roads and red dirt paths, our clothes got pretty dirty, but I wore clothes that I didn't mind getting ruined, so I had a blast. It was truly the best! I want to participate every time I come to Hawaii! The price is a bit high, but I was very satisfied!

Our tour was impacted by the recent rain and it was reduced from two hours to one hour. I emailed the night before to confirm that the tour was still on and they said it was, but to call and confirm the morning of. I called before we left our hotel and they said that the tour was still on. We picked-up our tickets from the ticket office without issue. However, we were told by the horse stable that the tour would only be one hour long instead of two hours due to trail conditions. I wish somebody told us before we arrived at the stable so that we could try to find another tour, or that they would compensate us for the reduced tour (partial refund, coupon for future tour or rebooked on another tour). The tour guide was great and did their best given the circumstances. Everyone at the stable was welcoming and helpful. When checking-in at the stable, we were told that we could not bring a small backpack on the tour and advised to store them in a locker or leave at the car. We headed to Kualoa Ranch by large bus. Since there were Japanese staff on-site, we were able to receive guidance in Japanese. Helmets are required for horseback riding. You can put your smartphone, water, and sunglasses in a small pouch provided on-site (other belongings can be stored in a locker for $5, which you can access freely). However, it's more convenient to hang your smartphone around your neck for quick access to take photos. After watching a brief safety video, we got on right away. Riding without a guide from the start made us a bit nervous at first, but we quickly got used to it since the horses are familiar with the route. Fortunately, during our ride, there were no other customers, so it was just us and our guide, making it feel like a private experience. Normally, it seems that 2-3 groups participate together. Our guide took some photos of us, but it seems that not all guides offer this service, so we were lucky. After horseback riding, we had about an hour to spend, so we enjoyed the surrounding facilities and the ocean (an hour was plenty of time). Overall, we had a great time.

Horseback riding while fully enjoying the magnificent scenery was amazing!! I was a bit anxious since it was my first time, but the horse was so smart that all my worries disappeared! It's something you can't experience in Japan, so I definitely recommend it.

I was anxious about my English, but the Japanese staff explained everything, including the meeting point, and there were explanatory videos in Japanese, which made me feel at ease participating!

During the horseback riding, it was all in English, but they used easy-to-understand words, so there was no problem at all! They were very kind and even took pictures for us!

The horses are smart, so they stop and go along with the horse in front of them without needing us to give instructions!

The scenery was amazing, and I was able to ride for two hours in the great outdoors, which was a valuable experience that I can't have in Japan!

Since it was an afternoon experience, by the time we finished, the cafeteria was closed, and I regretted not being able to eat the Kualoa Burger >_<.

My husband and I had a feeling this would be fun, which is why we booked this excursion. But we had no idea what a blast this really was! The "lookouts" that we stopped at during our ride were truly breathtaking. Our guides were super informative and had a good sense of humor. Believe me, you get it all during this excursion, fun, adventure, even a bit of "what did I get myself into" moments. Don't worry, you are safe and your guides are always right with you. Not to mention they won't take you onto trails you can't handle. Be prepared to get dirty! As our guide told us, embrace it, you can't get around it. But just fyi, bring extra shoes, a change of clothes and a towel. We happen to go on a day that was pretty wet from a storm. We were a mess! Loved all of it though. Highly recommend this excursion.
