This was the best activity, by far we experianced on our trip to Maui.
The staff was friendly, helpful and gracious. We learned alot just by listening to our guide. The Ranch was beautiful. The ride was even more than I expected. We have gone hors back riding in other places, but this trip was more memorable thean ever, for my daughter. The horse

Mike is a great guide and really knows what he is talking about. He explained all about the different types of plants, trees and flowers, and was very nice about taking photos of all the guests. The hike is a perfect level for almost anyone. It isn't too easy and boring, but it isn't incredibly difficult as well. The waterfall at the end made for a great Kodak opportunity.

The bike portion was a great, smooth ride and the views from the various vantage points were breathtaking.

A definite reccomendation!

The hike in the Monoa Valley was a great time. Our guide, Jeremy, made the entire experience fun and enjoyable.
The bike ride portion was a blast. It was not difficult for those that might be concerned. It was all downhill, very little pedaling required. Several stops offered great views.

Overall, anybody, primarily first time visitors, looking for a fun activity with moderate exercise will really enjoy this tour.

Excellent way to sightsee - no traffic, no buses - our best experience here yer!

The final event of our week-long trip to the Big Island was the "Mauna Kea Summit and Stargazing Tour." We joined the tour from Waimea and headed straight to the summit, but along the way, we were treated to a rainbow and the vast sight of Mauna Loa, making the journey absolutely captivating. Having seen plenty of lava up close at Kilauea, the scenery here felt expansive and majestic.

After a short break at the visitor center, we finally reached the summit. It took us about 20 minutes to climb to the top. The wind was incredibly strong and freezing, but the view from up there was beyond words (please see the photos).

Additionally, the starlit sky and shooting stars we saw from a spot just below the summit after sunset are unforgettable.

　１週間のハワイ島旅行の最後を締めるイベントが「マウナケア山頂と星空ツアー」でした。
　ワイメアからツアーに合流し、一路山頂に向かいましたが、途中虹が見れたり、マウナロアの広大な姿を眺めることができたりして道中もまったく飽きることがありません。キラウエアで散々と溶岩を間近に見てきましたが、ここでの景色は拡がりがあって雄大さを感じました。
　ビジターセンターで小休止した後は、お待ちかねの山頂です。私たちは、約２０分くらいかけて山頂まで登りました。風がとても強く凍えるほどでしたが、そこから見た景色は言葉に表わせないほどのものでした（写真をごらんください）。
　また、日が落ちて、山頂からすこし下りた場所から見た星空、流れ星は、忘れることができません。

i didn't have a lot of time to spend in Hawaii, just 3 days really, and i am glad that my friends and i decided to do this one since it got to show us so many different parts of the island and did so many things too. totally worth the price and a lotta fun to boot!

If you are the outdoorsy type or just want to see and experience nature while you are in Hawaii, then I TOTALLY recommend doing this tour. You get do see so much of the beauty of the island in just one day. The hike is perfect; it is not too strenuous, the views are amazing and the waterfall at the end was a picture perfect point too! On the way back from the waterfall, our awesome guide took us through a bamboo forest as well (very Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). Afterwards, we went on a great bike ride down a mountain road and then a great picnic lunch at the end at this cute little park. Snorkeling was the perfect ending to a fun-filled day!

This was my first time participating, and I was truly satisfied! The smoothness from application to participation was great, but the sunset from Haleakalā was beyond words... I was reminded that the Earth is round and that it is so beautiful.

This time, I participated with my 7-year-old child and my husband. My child seemed a bit tired and was in a bad mood, but later I heard that they secretly felt very moved and definitely want to go again! When we looked at the stars through the telescope, they were excited to see Saturn's rings, which sparked their interest in astronomy.

My husband, who usually doesn't praise people much, was surprisingly full of compliments for Yamapi during this trip. The homemade bento we had on the bus from Yamapi was also very warm and delicious!

Personally, I really liked the atmosphere of the shop we stopped by along the way; it had a great energy.

Haleakalā... It became a tour that I definitely want to experience again as it is such a sacred place.

今回初めての参加でしたが、
本当に大満足でした！！
申し込みから参加までのスムーズさももちろんですが、
ハレアカラからのサンセットは言葉で言い尽くせないほどの感動。。。
地球は丸いんだ。。地球はこんなにも美しいんだ。。。
と再確認しました。
今回は７歳の子どもとパパと３人での参加でしたが、
子どもはお疲れ気味だったのかちょっと機嫌が悪かったのですが
後で聞くと、また絶対行きたい！！！
と、密かにとても感動していたようでした。
天体望遠鏡で星を見たとき、土星の輪っか迄見えて天体に興味を盛ったようです。

普段は人をそんなに褒めることが無いパパですが、
今回の旅行ではヤマピーさんのことも大絶賛で以外でした。
バスの中で食べたヤマピーさんお手製のお弁当もとても
暖かく、美味しかったです♪

私的には途中で立ち寄ったクラのお店がとても雰囲気があって
とても好きなエネルギーの場所でした。

ハレアカラ。。。
とても神聖な場所で是非もう一度行きたいツアーになりました。

I loved the hike in the rain forest, it was beautiful. Our tour guide was awesome, he was very funny and made the ride to and from Waikiki beach very enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

This is an excellent adventure. I would highly recommend this tour. A great way to see the Island for the first time. These folks are very professional and the equipment is in great condition. The pilots knowledge of the Island really made the tour more than a good view. I felt very safe while on the tour.

Over many years of taking tours, I have seen many tour guides. However Buck Pelley ranks at the top of the stack. He is incredibly knowledgeable on such topics as geology, astronomy, plant life, and the history of the area. I hope that Buck remains as a tour guide. I would take another tour with him anytime anywhere.

The only thing that I would improve on the tour is the dinner. Although I understand the challenge of bringing food to the top of Mona Kea, the fish could have been hotter with a lot less salt. While the soup was good it was barely warm. Cookies were excellent

It was a great tour! I thoroughly enjoyed it!! It is nice to be albe to do 3 activities in one tour!!

Date of participation: March 19, 2007 (Monday). We participated as a couple. Gunstock Ranch is about an hour and a half by car from Waikiki, located beyond the Polynesian Cultural Center. The area is lush and green, quite different from the rocky terrain of the Big Island, making it suitable for horseback riding. We gathered at 8:30 in the morning. It was just the two of us participating. After the rain, the greenery and rainbow were beautiful. We signed some documents, learned the basics of horseback riding, and mounted our horses. We proceeded with three horses into the greenery. Along the way, the female guide asked, "RUN?" and when I answered "YES," we started to gallop. The horse I rode was well-trained and very responsive. Since it was a horse that wanted to run, I hardly had to kick it at all. We mostly galloped except for the climbs and descents to the hill and some slippery red dirt areas. The trees on both sides formed an arch, and we moved through it at a comfortable speed. The guide picked guava fruit for us, which was sour and delicious. When we reached the top of the hill, we had a 360-degree view. We could see the ocean as well. The wind felt nice, and the view was amazing. The hour flew by. It was a lot of fun.

ガンストック牧場はワイキキから車で約１時間半、ポリネシアカルチュアルセンターの先にあります。緑が一面に広がっていて、ハワイ島のゴツゴツした地面とは違い、乗馬に適していました。朝、８時半に集合。参加は私たち夫婦２人のみ。雨上がりで緑と虹がとてもきれいです。書類にサインをし、乗馬の基本を教えてもらい騎乗。緑の中へ３頭で進んでいきます。途中、女性のガイドさんから「ＲＵＮ？」と言われたので「ＹＥＳ」と答えると駆け足開始。乗った馬は良く調教されていてとてもよく言うことを聞きます。走りたがりの馬だったのでほとんど蹴らずにすみました。丘までの上り下りや、赤土むき出しで滑りやすい場所以外はほとんど駆け足です。両側の木がアーチになっていて、その下を心地よいスピードで進みます。ガイドさんがグァバの実を採ってくれます。すっぱくておいしい。丘のてっぺんに上ると、そこからは３６０度の視界が開けます。海も見えます。風も気持ちよく最高の眺めです。あっという間の１時間でした。とても楽しかったです。

Since my son's wedding is in Hawaii, I took the opportunity to challenge myself to skydiving, which I've always wanted to do, as a celebration of my upcoming 60th birthday in March. I participated with excitement and felt no fear at all; jumping from 4,500 feet was nothing. The blue sky I flew through with the instructor was amazing. Surrounded by the blue sky and blue ocean, it was a very happy experience of walking in the air.

If you're hesitating about whether to try skydiving, I definitely recommend taking the plunge. You'll experience a feeling that only those who have jumped can understand! Even now, when I close my eyes, I can feel myself flying in the sky. I'm really glad I challenged myself to skydiving! It was so much fun!!

息子の結婚式がハワイであるので、ついでと言ってはなんですが３月に還暦を迎える記念に念願だったスカイダイビングに挑戦して見ました。ワクワクしての参加で全然
怖くなく、４５００フィ−トも何のその、インストラクタ−と飛んでいった青空は最高でした。青い空と青い海、風の中、とても幸せな気分での空中散歩でした。
スカイダイビングをやろうかどうしようか迷っているのなら、是非挑戦する事をお勧めします。飛んだ人にしか判らない気分を味わえますよ！
今も目を瞑ると空を飛んでいる自分を感じます。

When I was in elementary school, I saw skydiving on TV and thought I wanted to try it at least once, so I was really looking forward to it. When I told my friends, they said, "Eww, scary!" but my curiosity was stronger than my fear, and I was excited to find out what it would be like.

When I actually jumped, I was surprised by how strong the wind pressure was during free fall. The wind was so intense that it felt like it was sucking in my cheeks, making it hard to breathe, but it felt amazing. The cameraman was flying opposite me, and I wanted to pose for the camera, but I didn’t have the energy for that at all. They took about 100 pictures in total, and even though I hesitated because it was expensive, I’m glad I chose the photo package.

Once the parachute opened, it felt like I was floating down slowly, and I was able to enjoy the view from above. When I landed, my legs were shaking, but I was really glad I did it. They say it can change your perspective on life, and I felt like I could do anything.

小学生の頃、テレビでスカイダイビングをしているのを見て一度やってみたいと思っていたのですごく楽しみでした。
友達に言うと「え~~~怖い~~」って言われたけど、恐怖よりも好奇心の方が強くてどんな感じなのかワクワクでした。
実際飛んでみて、フリーホールがこんなに風圧が強いとはビックリでした。
ほっっぺたが凹んじゃうくらいの風で息をするのも大変だったけど、すごく気持ちよかったです。
カメラマンが向いで飛んでくれるのでカメラに向かってポーズとりたいのにそんな余裕全然ありませんでした。
トータルで100枚くらいとってくれたし、高いから迷ったけど写真つきにしてよかったです。
パラシュートが開いてからはふ~わふ~わとゆっくり降りてくる感じで上空からの景色も堪能できました。
地上に着いたときは足がガクガクでしたが飛んでホントに良かったです。
人生観が変わるって言うけど、なんだか何でも出来るような気持ちになりました。

However, it turned out to be about 9500% better than I imagined, and I'm embarrassed that my expectations were so low. My three little ones returned home, each with their hearts full of emotion. It truly fulfills a parent's wish to have come to Maui.

With the inefficient 7mm lenses of our generation and the children's light reception systems that can absorb, analyze, and record any light, the experience must be different.

As a father from an old physics school, I tend to ignore phenomena that don't make theoretical sense. But in reality, I yearn for things and the universe that cannot be explained with words. This time, I was able to let my children experience a world that I wanted to convey but couldn't teach them.

Thanks to this opportunity, I will soon get an affordable telescope after returning home.

A few years from now, my children might come back with many questions. I would be grateful if they could learn from "Yamachan" again.

The participation certificate delivered to the hotel was promptly laminated and displayed on the children's desks.

P.S. The lunch was delicious! Unlike cost-focused boxed lunches, it was a menu that Japanese people could enjoy. My child, who usually dislikes vegetables, finished the simmered dish completely.

「アクティビティの評価って、半値八掛け二割引だろぅ？」

と思っていたのですが、想像よりも9500%ほど良くて、自分の想定が甘かったことが恥ずかしいです。
うちの3人のチビどもは、それぞれ感動を胸に秘めて帰りました。
頑張ってマウイ旅行に来た、親の冥利に尽きます。

我々の年代のような効率の落ちた7ミリのレンズと、どんな光でも吸収・分析・記録ができる子供たちの受光システムでは、きっと感動が違います。

父親の私は旧物理学校出身なので、理論的に筋が通っていない事象は無視します。
でも本当は、言葉で解明できない物や宇宙にあこがれます。
今回は、自分が子供たちに、伝えたくとも教えられなかった世界を体験させてもらえました。

きっかけを作っていただいたので、帰国後早々にお手軽な望遠鏡を入手します。

何年か後に、たくさんの質問を抱えて、子供たちがお邪魔するかもしれません。
また「やまちゃん」に勉強させてもらえれば幸いです。

ホテルに届けていただいた参加証明書は、さっそくラミネートして、子供達の机に飾りました。

お弁当が美味しかった~。
コスト重視の仕出し弁当とは違い、日本人が美味しくいただけるメニューでした。
普段野菜を嫌がる子供が、煮物を完食していました。

I previously participated in the Haleakalā downhill and found it enjoyable, so I wanted to challenge myself again. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to go to Maui this time, but I heard that downhill biking is available on Oahu, so I joined in.

Compared to Maui, the scale is smaller, but the view from the top is amazing. In fact, I had never been to Tantalus during the day, and I was captivated by the endless Pacific Ocean and the cityscape of Honolulu.

The guide shared detailed information about the plants and stories of ancient Hawaiians, and surprisingly, the hiking was well-received by the children.

I recommend it for repeat visitors and those staying long-term as a way to get some exercise. I think you'll experience a different charm of Hawaii through activities like hiking.

以前に参加したハレアカラ・ダウンヒルが楽しくて、挑戦したかったのですが、残念ながら、今回はマウイ島などに行く時間が無く、オアフ島でもダウンヒルが出来ると聞いて、参加しました。

マウイ島のと比較すると規模は小さいですが、頂上からの景色は素晴らしく、実は昼間にタンタラスの丘には来たことが無かったので、見渡す限りの太平洋とホノルルの街並みに、しばし心を奪われました。

ガイドさんが植物のことや古代ハワイアンの話など丁寧に話してくれ、ハイキングが意外にも子供たちにもウケました。

リピーターの方や、長期滞在される方など、運動不足解消にもお勧めで、ハイキングなど、ひと味ちがったハワイの魅力に触れられると思います。

I looked at the moon through a telescope and received explanations about the stars... It was really a fun time.

I've been to Hawaii several times, but I've always wanted to try skydiving. This time, my daughter turned 18, so my husband and I signed up with her. We chose this place because we learned there had been no accidents. The staff were all fun, laughing, and relaxed! Off we went into the sky! We dove from an incredible 6,000 meters! If you're thinking about it, you definitely should do it! Words can't fully express it. You'll just want to shout, "It's the best!" I might end up skydiving every time I go to Hawaii (laughs). Thank you so much to all the staff!

何度かハワイには行っているのですが、ずーっとスカイダイビングをしたかったんです。今回は娘が１８歳になり主人と３人で申し込みました。こちらに決めたのは無事故だと知ったので。スタッフの方達は皆さん楽しく笑いながらリラックス！いざ空へ！なんと６０００ｍからダイビング！やってみたい方は是非やるべき！言葉では伝えきれない。最高！って叫んじゃうから！ハワイに行くたびにスカイダイビングをしちゃうかも（笑）スタッフのみなさん本当にありがとうございました。

I participated in the stargazing option at Mauna Kea on the Big Island in the past, but it ended in disappointment due to bad weather. This time, I had high expectations for the stargazing at Haleakalā. First of all, I am filled with gratitude for our guide, Mr. Yamauchi. On the way to Haleakalā, we made various stops, including a famous donut shop and an ice cream shop in Maui, and I was surprised by the exceptional service we received. The explanations were thorough and very kind. The sunset was blocked by huge clouds, and just when I thought we might fail at stargazing again, thanks to Mr. Yamauchi's decision, we were able to see a magnificent starry sky a little below the summit. It was the first time I saw the Milky Way so clearly, and while listening to Mr. Yamauchi's stories, my husband was moved to tears. There were six participants in total, and we all lay on the ground at the end, imprinting the starry sky in our memories. It was the best option that made me realize how small and trivial my worries really are, prompting me to think about how I want to live my life moving forward. Lastly, the summit is really cold, so please dress warmly when you participate. I wore a T-shirt with a fleece and jeans, and even though I borrowed a thicker jacket and gloves on the day, I still felt cold. I think wearing tights and bringing hand warmers would be perfect.

　私は過去にハワイ島のマウナケアスターゲイジングオプションに参加にましたが悪天候で残念な結果に終わり今回ハレアカラのスターゲイジングにかなり期待して参加しました。まずはガイドの山内さんに感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。ハレアカラに向かうまでの道で色々寄り道をして頂きマウイで有名なドーナツ屋さん、アイスクリーム屋さんに寄っていただき期待以上のサービスがあったのでびっくり。説明も丁寧でとても親切。サンセットは巨大な雲に邪魔され、今回もまたスターゲイジング失敗かと諦めたころ山内さんの判断で山頂から少し下がったところで素晴らしい満天の星空を見ることが出来ました。初めてあんなはっきりした天の川を見て、山内さんのお話を聞きながら私の旦那は涙していました。全員で6名の参加で皆で最後は地面に寝転び満天の星空を目に焼き付けました。自分の悩み事が本当に小さくつまらないことだとこれからの自分の生き方を考えさせてくれる最高のオプションでした。最後に、山頂は本当に冷えていますので、十分厚着をしてご参加下さい。私はTシャツにフリースを着込み、ジーパンで参加し、当日厚めの上着と手袋を貸してもらったのに寒いと思ったのでタイツを履いたりカイロを持っていったら完璧かなと思いました。　

I participated in skydiving for the first time before turning 50. I had always struggled with amusement park roller coasters and free falls, which made me feel sick, but after seeing the Pacific Skydiving Center's website, I was drawn in and decided to sign up. My experience was incredibly refreshing; it had been a long time since I felt that way. By the time I was ascending in the airplane, all fear had completely vanished. During the approximately one minute of free fall, as I pierced through the clouds, I felt something sacred. Once the parachute opened, I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. I could even feel that the Earth is round. There were Japanese staff members, which made me feel at ease. Although I thought the price was a bit high, I opted for the video and camera services. I definitely recommend getting those; it was great to see how I flew. I was so thrilled that I signed up on the spot to jump a second time. For anyone hesitating, I absolutely think you should give it a try!

50歳前ではじめてのスカイダイビングに参加しました。もともと、遊園地のジェットコースーターやフリーフォールは気分が悪くなってしまい苦手でしたが、パシフィックスカイダイビングセンターのホームページを見てひかれるものがあり申し込みました。やった感想は、こんなにすがすがしい気分になれたのは本当に久しぶりでした。飛行機で上空にあがっていく時点で恐怖なんてまったくなくなってしまい、約１分間のフリーホールの間に雲の中を突き抜けていくときは神聖なものを感じました。パラシュートが開いてからは美しいハワイの景色が堪能できます。地球が丸いっていうのも感じることができました。スタッフの方も日本人がいて安心できます。また、値段がちょっと高いなぁと思いましたが、ビデオとカメラをたのみました。これは絶対に頼んだほうがいいと思います。自分がどんな風に飛んだのかが良くわかりとてもよくできていました。私はあまりの楽しさにその場で申し込んで2回飛びました。迷っている方は絶対にチャレンジしたらいいと思います。

I was able to go to various places, and it was a lot of fun. I even got to visit Jurassic Park. My friend had their first experience riding a horse, and they said it was great because the horse was very gentle! As for me, since I have experience riding, I honestly felt it was a bit lacking. However, the horses are cute. I want to ride again.

いろいろなところへいけてとても楽しかったですよ。ジェラシックパークのところへもいけたし。友達は乗馬初体験だったのでとてもおとなしい馬でよかった！っていってました。私は乗馬経験者だったので正直物足りないかなという印象。しかし、馬はかわいいですね。また乗りたくなりました。

I participated alone. However, there were others who also joined alone, so I was able to make friends. There was also a Japanese instructor, which helped me relax and enjoy flying.

一人で参加しました。
でもほかの一人で参加する方もいたので、仲良くなれました。
日本人のインストラクターもいらっしゃるので、リラックスして飛べました。

I joined the "Haleakalā Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour" that I randomly found during a trip to Maui, which I decided on after being invited by a friend. It felt like fate (laughs).

I was lounging by the pool all day with my lazy friend, saying things like, "It's nice to drive to Haleakalā, but it's a bit far, and I'm worried about the way back. But if someone is taking us, I want to see the stars!" However, it turned out to be an incredibly well-organized tour (laughs).

Our guide, Yamapee, truly loves Maui. But he speaks really fast—he has so much to share with us that he just keeps speeding up, and it's true (laughs).

Even though I had only been away from Japan for two days, I was so happy to have Japanese bento and thought, "Warm tea is the best!" I found myself smiling like an old lady, enjoying those little moments outside of the activities.

The sunset in Maui felt like it was saying, "Welcome!" It blew away the daily hustle and small stresses. When I was surrounded by stars in the pitch-black darkness of a silent world, my heart simply trembled. I can't put it into words. I couldn't find the right words to express it. For the first time in my life, I felt a warmth deep in my belly, and tears overflowed.

Hearing my friend, who usually struggles to express emotions, say "Amazing" made me inexplicably happy (laughs).

By the end of the tour, I found myself wanting to thank Yamapee and feeling a sense of respect for him. It's strange, isn't it? Because Maui is wonderful and great (laughs).

If I could have seen the sunset here at Haleakalā as a child, my life might have changed. Even as I grow older and become a grandmother, how wonderful it would be to see the stars here at Haleakalā. With all these thoughts in mind, I'm aiming to go back to Haleakalā again. No, I can do it. When that time comes, I will rely on Yamapee again. Thank you in advance!

ふと友人から誘われて決めたマウイ旅行で
たまたま見つけた「ハレアカラ山頂サンセット＆星空満喫ツアー」に参加。
これが運命でした（笑）

「ハレアカラにレンタカーで行くのはいいけど、ちょっと遠いし帰り道も心配だね
でも連れて行ってくれるんだったら、星もみたいしいいね~」なんて
面倒くさがりな友人と日がな一日をプールサイドで過していたのですが。
これがなんと、ふたをあければ至れり尽くせりのツアーでした（笑）

本当にマウイを愛しているんだな~と感じるYamapeeさんのガイド
でも実はとっても早口なんです~たくさんのことを私達につたえてくて
どんどん早口になるんです、本当ですよ（笑）

まだ２日しか日本を離れていないのに、日本食のお弁当が嬉しくって
やっぱりあったかいお茶よね~なんて、おばあさんみたいにニコニコになったり
そんなアクティビティ以外の所でその都度喜んでしまいました私たち。

マウイの夕日~夕空は「よくきたね」って言ってくれているようで
日々の慌しさ、小さなストレスを吹き飛ばしてくれましたね。
漆黒の闇、音の無い世界で星に囲まれたときにはただただ心が震えました。
言葉になりません。うまく伝える言葉も見つかれません。
私は今まで生きてきた中で、お腹のそこがじ~んと熱くなり
涙があふれたのは、初めてでした。

感動のわかりづらい一緒に行った友人がもらした「凄い」の一言
私はこの一言を聞けたこともなぜか凄く嬉しかったんです（笑）

そんなツアーが終わる頃には、なぜかYamapeeさんに感謝したくなる

子供のときにここ、ハレアカラで夕日を見ることができたなら
人生が変わっていたかも。歳を重ねて、おばあちゃんになっても
ここ、ハレアカラに星を見ることができたら、どんなに素敵な人生だろう~
そんないろんなことを考えながら、日々またハレアカラに行く事を目標に
頑張っています。いえ、頑張れます。
そのときはまたYamapeeさんのお世話になります。

I had an amazing time on the tour, and it's no surprise that there are so many repeat visitors!

Previously, I participated in a stargazing tour on the Big Island of Hawaii, and since there was a high mountain and Subaru for astronomical observation in Japan, I honestly didn't have high expectations. (I'm sorry)

However, those expectations were wonderfully overturned. The starry sky and sunset were breathtaking, but what truly stood out was Mr. Yamauchi's passionate talks about stars and the universe. It made me realize how incredibly small I am in the vastness of billions of light-years.

Now that I'm back in Japan, I cherish the precious time I spent gazing at the stars, and it has become an unforgettable moment in my life. I received energy from Haleakalā, and I want to transform that energy into my own power next time!

I definitely want to participate in this stargazing experience again.

山の高さや、日本の天体観測のすばるがあったので
実はあまり期待していませんでした。（すみません）

　でもその期待を見事に覆されました。

トークが素晴らしくて、何億光年の世界からすると
自分はすごくちっぽけだなぁと思いました。

This tour guided by Mr. Yamauchi has become a staple for me.

Two years ago, I happened to join this tour, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. That's why, whenever I have the time, I return to Haleakalā to heal my tired body and mind. This tour itself has become a therapy for me that surpasses any pleasant spa or massage.

The breathtaking scenery, craters, sunsets, and stars that you see on this tour are something I highly recommend everyone to experience. How wonderful it would be to share this emotion with others.

Moreover, I am continually amazed by Mr. Yamauchi's hospitality. Perhaps it is his desire to bring joy to us guests. He provides service from every angle, which is incredibly comforting.

二年前、たまたま参加したツアーでしたが、その感動ははるか予想を越えています。

I was thrilled to see the world of stars that is rarely visible in Japan, with real Saturn and nebulae clearly visible through the telescope. Additionally, there were unique touches throughout the tour that you wouldn't experience with major tour companies, making it a very satisfying experience. Thank you very much.

I'm excited to see the stars at Haleakalā, and I've become a repeat visitor to Maui.

The "star crystals," which are said to outnumber the grains of sand on Earth, are truly moving! Standing before stars that have traveled billions of light-years makes me realize that even though life is only about 100 years long, I need to live it more joyfully, and it gives me a lot of energy.

The energy and power are surely special because Haleakalā is a place where many spirits gather. The spirits that appear in photos seem to envelop my body in a mysterious phenomenon. I want everyone to experience this rather than just hear about it!

The grand stars, along with the lively talk and heartfelt messages from Mr. Yamauchi, always warm my heart. The impact of Mr. Yamauchi's words is not just because of the greatness of nature, but also because of his unique personality as a guide. His desire to bring joy to others is filled with thoughtful care and a spirit of service, making it a truly warm experience to gaze at the stars, creating the best moments.

I've never felt such a luxurious time before, and I want as many people as possible to experience this emotion. It will always be a special place for me!

ハレアカラで見る星が楽しみで、マウイのリピーターになっています。

地球上の砂よりも多いという“星の結晶”は本当に感動！！！
何億光年にもわたってやっと見ることができる星を前にすると“人生長くても100年”という自分の短い人生を、もっと楽しく生きなきゃと、元気をとてももらいます。

そのエネルギーとパワーは、精霊が多く集まるハレアカラだから特別なんですねーきっと。本当に写真に写る精霊は、自分の体を覆うように見える不思議な現象です。
これは言葉で伝えるより、まず体感して欲しいです！！

壮大な星も、楽しく教えてくれる山内さんの軽快なトークと心にしみるメッセージで、毎回胸が熱くなります。
山内さんの言葉が胸を打つのは、大自然の素晴らしさがある以上に、やっぱり山内さんのガイドだからこその人柄ですね。
人に喜んでもらいたいという山内さんの思いが、細やかな心遣いとサービス精神にあふれていて、とってもあったかい気持ちになる中で星を見上げるので、最高の瞬間になる気がします。

本当にこんな贅沢な時間を感じたのは初めてで、一人でも多くの人にこの感動を体験して欲しいです。これからも私にとって特別な場所です！！

I participated in this tour with my mother because we wanted to see a beautiful sunset. The sunset at Haleakalā was even more wonderful than we expected, and we were enchanted by the pink-hued sea of clouds, taking lots of photos together.

As if that wasn't enough, the main event was stargazing! I was moved by the starry sky and felt the mysteries of the universe when looking through the telescope at the beautiful stars and planets. It might have been the most touching experience of my life! Even if you don't know much about stars, our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, explains everything in a fun and engaging way with his extensive knowledge, making it truly enjoyable. He's quite the star enthusiast (laughs).

Moreover, from stories about stars to our everyday events, Mr. Yamauchi's heartwarming tales really touched me and made me feel warm inside. It can be cold at the summit, but they lend you jackets, gloves, and blankets, so it's all good. It's also nice that they serve warm tea at just the right time.

Overall, it's a fun and moving tour, and I hope as many people as possible get to experience the beautiful sunset, the starry sky, and Mr. Yamauchi's kindness. I will definitely go again! Thank you for the wonderful experience, Mr. Yamauchi.

美しいサンセットが見たくて、このツアーに母と二人で参加しました。
ハレアカラで見る夕焼けは期待以上にすばらしく、ピンク色に染まる雲海に
うっとりし、母と一緒にはしゃいでいっぱい写真を撮ってしまいました。
これだけでも大満足なのに、メインはスターゲイジングだったんですね~。
満天の星空に感動し、望遠鏡で見せてもらう美しい星たちや惑星には
宇宙の神秘を感じます。あんなに感動したのは生まれて初めてかも！
星のことは良く知らなくてもガイドの山内さんが幅広い知識で軽快に楽しく
説明してくれるのでほんとに楽しめます。かなりの星オタクですね（笑）
また、星の話から私たちの身近な出来事まで、山内さんの心温まるお話に
またまた心を打たれ、優しい気持になれますよ。山頂は寒いですが、
ジャケットと手袋と毛布を貸してくれるので大丈夫です。
また、ほどよいタイミングで暖かいお茶を配ってくれたりするのも嬉しいですね。
とにかく楽しくて感動できるツアーなので、美しい夕焼けと満天の星空と、
山内さんの優しさを、一人でも多くの人に味わって欲しいなあ。

The sunset and stargazing tour in Hawaii that we visited for our honeymoon was simply amazing!!! I had never seen the Milky Way before, so it was truly a wonderful experience. Next time I come, I want to bring my children! When that time comes, I would like to join your tour, Yamapee!
