I can't forget the beautiful view of the sunrise and the sparkling North Shore that I saw while skydiving! I smile every day while looking at the photos! Haha. Before jumping, you can choose whether to have no filming, use a GoPro, or hire a photographer. I requested to use a GoPro. You can decide whether to purchase the video after seeing what was filmed. The instructor constantly takes photos and videos, which really boosts your excitement and enhances communication, so I highly recommend it! The main purpose of this trip to Hawaii was to go skydiving. I participated alone, but my excitement outweighed my anxiety, and I had high expectations even before the departure. The weather was clear on the day, and the views were amazing! The dive exceeded my expectations. My tandem partner Connor and the photographer Kira were both fantastic! I also had a great conversation with the driver during the transfer, which made me very satisfied! I definitely want to experience this again!

The facility is new and clean, and there are chickens and rabbits, making it a fun place for children to visit. I think it's reassuring that there are staff members who can speak Japanese. They were energetic, friendly, and kind from the morning.

I experienced the Adventure Tower. Although I have a fear of heights, I managed to clear the lower level while sweating with nervousness. I had to retire from the upper level, but my boyfriend took on the challenge! Just watching him made my legs shake, but it was fun!

From the top floor, you can experience a 50-foot (about 15 meters) free fall, but both of us had to retire. What a shame! However, I was initially hesitant to try the swing on the lower level, but once I did, it was a lot of fun! Next, I want to try the zip line!

最上階からは50フィート(約15メートル)のフリーフォールが体験出来るのですが…２人共リタイア。残念！しかし下の階で出来るスイングは最初はなかなか踏み出せなかったけどやってみたら楽しいかったです！次はジップラインに挑戦してみたいです

It was my first experience riding a horse, but I got used to it in about 30 minutes. The guide was flexible and provided support throughout the ride. Since we walked along narrow paths in the valley, the horse stopped to drink water and eat grass along the way, and we even passed by cars, which helped me improve my reins handling. They also took some great photos.

The meeting point was quite far and hard to find. I was a bit nervous during the journey, but somehow I understood the pickup fee.

For our honeymoon, we wanted to try the Haleakalā summit tour on Maui. We debated between the sunset + stargazing or sunrise, but since we wanted to get a good night's sleep and had a feeling that the sunset would be more beautiful, we chose that option.

The group size was just right, allowing us to see everyone's faces, and our guide was great at sharing stories, making the time pass without diminishing the excitement of the participants. It was also nice to receive recommendations on what to buy at the supermarkets and souvenir shops along the way.

The sunset was stunning, although I felt like the sun set a bit earlier than expected. Still, it was thoroughly enjoyable. However, the true highlight of the tour came afterward. In complete silence, when I looked up at the pitch-black sky for the first time, the awe I felt was indescribable. Surrounded by stars, we observed them through a telescope while receiving explanations about various constellations. It was quite cold at the summit, but they provided warm clothing, and I was so moved that I forgot about the chill, and time flew by.

I am grateful to our guide for their excellent storytelling and to have been blessed with good weather (it seems the participants from the previous day had a tough time due to poor weather).

On the way down from the summit, I fell asleep feeling a sense of satisfaction and emotion, wrapped in a relaxed mindset that life is too short to rush.

I think it would be wonderful to bring our parents next time. This was one of the few optional tours that left us very satisfied, and I highly recommend it for honeymoons (though it might be a bit tough with small children).

今回新婚旅行でマウイ島に行くにあたり、やってみたかったのがハレアカラ山頂ツアーでした。
サンセット+星空かサンライズで迷いましたが、夜はちゃんと寝たいし、なんとなくですがサンセットの方がきれいそうだなというくらいの気持ちで選びました。

参加人数も多すぎず、全体の顔も見渡せますしガイドさんのお話も上手で、車内でも参加者の楽しみな気持ちを減衰させることなく時間が過ぎていきました。
ところどころでよるスーパーやお土産屋さんでもどういったものがオススメかなど説明してもらえたのも良かったです。

サンセットもとてもきれいでしたが、少し日が落ちるのが早かったのかな？という印象ではありましたが十分堪能できました。
これだけでも比較的満足度は高かったのですが、このツアーの本領はこの後でした。
あたりは一切物音もしなくなり、完全に静まり返った中で初めて真っ暗闇の中空を見上げた時の感動は言葉では言い表すのが難しいほどのものでした。
あたり一面に広がる星に包まれ、いろんな星の説明を受けながら天体望遠鏡でその星を観察する。山頂はだいぶ寒かったですが、防寒具なども準備していただき、感動でそもそも寒さを忘れるほどであっという間に時間が過ぎていました。

終始上手にお話ししていだけたガイドさんへの感謝と、本当に天候にも恵まれ(前日参加の方々は天候に恵まれずつらいツアーとなったようです)た偶然に感謝感謝です。

山頂から降りる車の中は満足感と感動と、生き急いでも仕方ないよなというおおらかな気持ちに包まれながら寝てしまいました。

次は両家の両親を連れて行ってあげられたらすてきだなと思える、数少ないオプショナルツアーで非常に満足のいくものとなりました、新婚旅行などにオススメだと思います(小さい子連れだと少ししんどいかもしれません)。

This was my second trip up to the summit of Mauna Kea for the Sunset & Stargazing Adventure. The drive up this time was smoother than the first, thankfully, and our guide was excellent. You could tell he was well-informed on all the topics he discussed. The catered Hawaiian dinner was very tasty, and in sufficient quantity to satisfy a good appetite. The only drawback this time was that the clock-drive on the telescope was not working, which took away from our ability to look at celestial objects at high magnification. I recommend this trip, and also that the tour company repair their clock drives!

After eating lunch at the Onizuka Visitor Center, we put on our warm clothing and were about to head to the summit when the road to the summit was closed due to snow and icy conditions. I understand that this is nature, and it can't be helped, but I have questions about the subsequent handling of the situation.

We were left at Onizuka for over 30 minutes without any explanation, then we were taken back to the car and descended. Just when I thought, "Are we going home like this?" we returned to the parking lot at 2000 meters, received a refund of $15 per person, and were left waiting again...? When I checked with the guide, I was told, "We descended because you can't see the sunset from Onizuka."

Of course, due to the thick clouds, we couldn't see the sunset, and after being taken back to the car, I was wondering, "What will happen next?" We returned to the dark Onizuka, and when we arrived, the driver and guide left us in the car and went outside. We were left in the cramped car for about 30 minutes, still in our warm clothing, without any explanation. Everyone started expressing their dissatisfaction, saying things like "It's hot," "What will happen next?" and "I want to get out of the car." Finally, the guide returned and let us out.

There seemed to be about 25 of us on the tour with two cars. During that time, I was quite irritated by the sound of the guides laughing outside.

着いたらドライバー兼ガイドは私たちを残したまま車外に出てしまい、
３０分くらい狭い車の中で、防寒着を着たまま何の説明もなく放置され、
みんなが「暑い」「これからどうなるの？」「車から出たい」など、
それぞれが不満を口にするようになったところで、
やっとガイドが帰ってきて車外へ出してくれました。
私たちのツアーは車２台で２５名前後いたように思います。
その間、車外から聞こえるガイド同士の笑い声にかなりイラっとしました。

その後、厚い雲で３個しか星が見えない空に向かって、レーザーポインターを使って
星座の説明をして下さいましたが、こんなことならさっさとホテルに帰りたかったです。
ハワイ島の滞在時間はわずかなので、何にもできないツアーを無理に継続するのではなく、
ツアー客の多数決を取るなりして、下山するという選択肢もあっていいと思います。

私たちのガイドは「質問があったら何でも聞いて下さい」というスタンスだったので、
こちらが何度も質問すればよかったのかも知れませんが、
ツアー自体の行程変更なので、その都度説明をしていただきたかったです。
天候で山頂に行けなかったことより、御社のガイドの対応が一番残念でした。

９割の日は山頂まで行けるけど、１割の日は行けないことがあるそうです。
今年の１月は１０日以上山頂に行けない日が続いたそうです。
楽しみにしていても残念な結果になることがあることを、
事前に納得して参加された方がいいと思います。

It was a bit delayed until we got on the first horse, overlapping with other reservation groups, but the explanations in Japanese were helpful, so there were no issues. Once we started riding, the scenery that you can't experience in Japan was amazing. My horse was a bit stubborn, but that too became a good memory.

It was truly a wonderful starry sky. I thought it would be cloudy on the day I participated, but above the clouds, it was clear, and I could see the Milky Way and shooting stars clearly. The Earth shadow appeared after sunset, and seeing the shadow of the Earth felt like a cleansing experience for my heart. While watching the stars and listening to the guide's stories, I was moved to tears. I heard it would be cold, so I layered up with sweatshirts and down jackets, which kept me warm enough to enjoy the night sky. Before heading to the mountains, we stopped by a supermarket and a souvenir shop, and the supermarket had good prices!

本当に本当に素敵な星空でした。参加した日はあいにくの曇りと思っていましたが、雲の上は晴れていて天の川も流れ星もくっきり見えました。
日が沈んだ後に現れるアースシャードー、地球の影も見え心が洗わられるような気持ちでした。ガイドの方のお話を聞きながら星を見ていると、涙が出ました。寒いと聞き、スエットやダウンを重ね着したので寒さも感じず、夜空を楽しむことが出来ました。山に行く前にはスーパーやお土産屋さんにもよるので、スーパーは値段も安くて良かったです！

My two teenage girls and myself , a 53 year old woman did this excursion. It was a great day. The tour company was very informative. I would advise to do the morning trip to diamond head that we did. Pick up was 6:15am. Diamond in the morning was perfect. If we had done in the afternoon would have been really hot. We we arrived at manoa falls the company gave us walking sticks and bug spray to apply. It was really needed. I'm sure we would have had a lot of bug bites. The falls were beautiful. The rain forest was amazing

It was mostly cloudy, and unfortunately, we could hardly see the sunset or the starry sky. The tour guide was bright and cheerful, which was satisfying. However, we couldn't win against nature...
