My reserved day was canceled due to rain, but I was able to quickly change my reservation to the next day and participated then. The shuttle service was on time, and I could schedule my afternoon plans. On the way, I filled out a consent form and watched a video. After arriving, I received an explanation and decided whether to order photos and videos. Since I had some time before my jump, I enjoyed a hot chocolate (snacks and drinks were sold from a wagon). 雪の積もるマウナケア山頂、寒さを心配していましたがマサシネーチャーズスクールの貸出用防寒具は口コミ通り暖かかったので、寒がりな方は防寒具で隠せない顔・頭・耳をカバーするものやヒートテックインナーで防寒対策をしておけばよいと思います。
星空ウォッチングも解説していただいて見られたのがよかったです。
前回来た時には山頂ツアーではなく、山の中腹でのスターゲイジングでしたが、星空を見るという事でしたら同じくらいかそれ以上見えた（山頂ツアー後の星空ウォッチングは山頂から降りてくる車が多いのでヘッドライトに邪魔される時間が結構あるため）ので、星空…という事にフォーカスするのであれば山頂日の入りである必要はないのかもしれませんが、富士山以上の高さでの日の入りを見る体験は他ではなかなかできないと思います。

I chose this plan because I wanted to go to the North Shore. The guide took us to various places in detail, which was really great. I even got to see a sea turtle. However, lunchtime was quite short and busy. The horse I rode was very well-behaved, but as a first-time rider, I found it a bit scary when it occasionally ran. Really fun riding the military truck and the hike was awesome. Little challenging for people who aren’t used to hiking. This hike is different because it is full of muds and slippery areas. Also you have to cross the 4 streams. Super fun but not recommended for families with kids.
I did this activity with my 14-year old son. You are on an intertube going down a simple stream for about 1 hour. The first part is getting to the inlet. During the ride, you are about 75% in tunnels but nothing scary so you don't need sunglasses or really any sunscreen/bug spray (at least we didn't). After outtake, you grab a quick 'make your own sandwich, chips, cookie, and water and ride back. Guides were friendly. Very mellow and safe excursion.
The person who provided the pick-up and guidance was the best in terms of customer service I have experienced in all my optional tours in Hawaii. It was my first time horseback riding, but they gave us instructions during the car ride, making it enjoyable to ride the horse.

この日は前日からのマウナケア山頂の積雪により一般人の観光客が多く夕陽を鑑賞後下山途中の３２００メートルあたりで一般客のレンタカーの横転事故がございまして、
予定していたこの高さでの星観測は事故による渋滞で車両のライトが明るすぎたためオニズカセンターでの星観測となりました。
ただ事故の渋滞によりツアー時間は大幅に遅れたため
１９：４０にオニズカセンター到着
星はよく見えましたが写真撮影、早くホテルに帰着されたいお客様等、バタバタしてしまい、望遠鏡を出し忘れてしまったとの事でした。ガイドからは弊社にも報告がございませんでした。
（当日の天気によっては望遠鏡を出さない事もございますが通常は事前にご説明をさせていただいております）
今後この様なことが無いようにnatsurin様の貴重なご意見を社内で共有し、改善していく所存ですので何卒宜しくお願い申し上げます。

This was good for 11 yr old boy to be able to get dirty. The guide was nice It seemed a bit short of driving time for the amount it cost. It would be good if there was a car made for shorter people. 私たちは8：30現地集合ツアーでしたが、お昼前には終わるのでその後にノース方面に遊びに行く余裕もできて良かったです。チェックインやツアー中もほぼ英語の中で進めることになりますが、話せなくても結構なんとかなります。
集合場所からジップラインのベースキャンプまで車で結構なでこぼこ道を進んで行きますが、これがなかなか楽しい。車酔いしやすい人は気をつけた方が良いかも・・・くらい揺れます。車内は容赦のない英語ガイドが炸裂します。時々話題をふられるので雰囲気で答えました（笑）
ツアーには日本人のご夫婦が１組一緒になりましたが、その他はオーストラリア、スペインなど海外の方でした。私は英語はほとんど話せないのですが、片言でも楽しく過ごすことはできました。ノリが大切です！
