I chose this plan because I wanted to go to the North Shore. The guide took us to various places in detail, which was really great. I even got to see a sea turtle. However, lunchtime was quite short and busy. The horse I rode was very well-behaved, but as a first-time rider, I found it a bit scary when it occasionally ran. My first skydiving experience☆
At my son's request, I tried it with my daughter and him☆
We were picked up at 4:50 AM. While watching a video, we went through the documents and filled them out!
The driving was rough, and I got car sick before we arrived! I didn't want to say this since the instructor was older, but I think others felt the same way; despite the cold, we were told to take off our clothes and jump, among other things. (The instructor said to wear clothes because it was cold.) We wore our clothes from the start since we were cold.
However, the skydiving was beautiful and became the best memory.
As a keepsake, the video and photos for the three of us cost around 70,000 yen!
I thought it would have been better to just get the video when I returned to Japan.
There were various things, but from the pitch dark early morning, the sunrise came up, and then we dove!
I definitely recommend it☆

早朝、４時50分にお迎え。映像見ながら、書類に目をとおし、記入！
運転が荒く、着く前に車酔い！おじさんがお年をめしていたのでこんな事は言いたくないですが、他の皆さんも感じでいたと思いますが、寒いのに、服を脱いで飛びなさいとか、他、多々ありました。(インストラクターの人は寒いから着なさいと）私たちは最初から寒いので着ましたが。
しかーし、スカイダイビングは綺麗で最高の思い出になりました。
記念にと動画と写真で３人分日本円で７万前後の出費が！
動画だけで良かったと日本に戻り思いました。
色々ありましたが、真っ暗な早朝から朝日が昇りそしてダイブ！
是非、おすすめします☆

I did this activity with my 14-year old son. You are on an intertube going down a simple stream for about 1 hour. The first part is getting to the inlet. During the ride, you are about 75% in tunnels but nothing scary so you don't need sunglasses or really any sunscreen/bug spray (at least we didn't). After outtake, you grab a quick 'make your own sandwich, chips, cookie, and water and ride back. Guides were friendly. Very mellow and safe excursion.

I was picked up while it was still dark in the morning, and when we arrived at the location, the sky was filled with stars, and I was amazed to see a shooting star. As it got brighter, we prepared to jump, and with my heart racing, we went up into the sky. There was no time to think about being scared, and then it was 3, 2, 1, go! The sunrise, the ocean, the sea of clouds—it was breathtaking. Before I knew it, we were back on the ground... I thought I might feel like a bird, but I didn't have that luxury (laughs). There aren't many places to walk, so you can bring elderly people along. On the way up the mountain, we enjoyed a fun car ride where we were introduced to inexpensive souvenirs at a local supermarket and heard local stories about Maui. The sunset from the summit was a breathtaking view from another world. It was wonderful. The stargazing included easy-to-understand explanations using a telescope and a laser pointer. Unfortunately, we were affected by the moonlight, but it seems that if it were a new moon, the starry sky would be amazing. I'm really glad I brought my mother and children along.

At first, I considered driving to Mauna Kea by rental car, but since it was my first time on the Big Island, I felt a bit anxious and decided to join the tour instead. The adjustments for altitude, the provision of warm drinks and meals, the rental of cold-weather gear (thick clothing and gloves), and the stargazing were all things I couldn't have done alone, so I truly made wonderful memories by participating. This time, I participated with my son to celebrate his coming of age. It was originally scheduled for December 26, but due to bad weather, it was canceled. However, we rescheduled for the next day, December 27, and were able to fly. The support from VELTRA during the cancellation and the rescheduling was great. Hawaii has many beautiful views. However, looking at Oahu from 14,000 feet is on another level.

The sensation isn't so much falling as it is floating in the air. And you'll experience winds of 200 km/h. Your mouth will get incredibly dry, and it will be hard to breathe. But it's such a funny experience that you'll end up laughing.

- Shuttle Service: No issues. The waiver you fill out in the car is available in Japanese.
- Explanation: No issues. It's a bit of luck if you encounter someone who speaks Japanese.
- Pricing: Honestly, it's quite cheap for such a wonderful experience.
- Other: I highly recommend adding video recording. You can later caption it for photos as well.

This was good for 11 yr old boy to be able to get dirty. The guide was nice It seemed a bit short of driving time for the amount it cost. It would be good if there was a car made for shorter people. It was hard to drive because I could barely reach pedals. Had to loosen seat belt to be able to reach anything. My nephew enjoyed it and he is 11 so that is good. Good activity just not a value. Maybe if there was a longer course or more laps.

I had been curious about ziplining ever since I saw it on TV and in magazines. Finally, during my multiple visits to Hawaii, I got to experience it! My overall impression is that it was just so much fun! We were worried about whether the tour would go ahead due to heavy rain the day before, but we were blessed with beautiful weather and spent a dream-like time surrounded by blue skies, blue seas, and green mountains.

We had an 8:30 AM local meeting time for the tour, but it ended before noon, allowing us to have some time to explore the North Shore afterward, which was great. The check-in and the tour were mostly conducted in English, but even if you can't speak it well, you can manage just fine.

From the meeting point to the zipline base camp, we drove along a pretty bumpy road, which was actually quite fun. If you're prone to motion sickness, you might want to be careful as it can be quite bumpy. The English guide in the car was relentless with his commentary. Occasionally, he would ask questions, and I just responded based on the atmosphere (laughs). There was one Japanese couple in our tour group, but the rest were from Australia, Spain, and other countries. I can hardly speak English, but I was able to enjoy myself even with just a few words. Having a good vibe is important!

There are free lockers at the base camp, so you'll need to store all your belongings there. You can bring your smartphone as long as it doesn't fall out of your pocket. My husband brought an action camera. There are quite a few things to wear, like helmets, which can get pretty heavy, so it's best to keep your belongings to a minimum.

All the participants in our tour were wearing long pants. Since you'll be wearing a harness, it might be uncomfortable if you wear shorts. There were about half long-sleeve and half short-sleeve shirts. As mentioned by others, you might get bitten by mosquitoes, so it might be a good idea to prepare some insect repellent. I was also concerned about sunburn, so I participated in long sleeves.

Going to the seven points felt a bit like hiking, so I recommend wearing sneakers. Since it was the day after rain, the ground was quite muddy.

There was a 10-year-old girl in the family that joined us, and she seemed to enjoy the tour. As long as you're okay with carrying a heavy load and aren't afraid of heights, I think kids can have a great time on this tour.

There were three tour guides with us, but they hardly spoke Japanese. However, they really tried to keep the energy up, so let's enjoy it together! They would say things like "Awesome!!" and "So much fun!" (laughs). The beaches around Waikiki are lovely, but I also recommend the zipline experience surrounded by the greatness of nature. Please have a wonderful time!

とにかく楽しかった！というのが感想です。私たちは前日警報が出るような大雨で当日も実施するのか・・・と心配していましたが、天気に恵まれて快晴の中青い空と青い海と緑の山に囲まれた夢のような時間を過ごしてきました。

私たちは8：30現地集合ツアーでしたが、お昼前には終わるのでその後にノース方面に遊びに行く余裕もできて良かったです。チェックインやツアー中もほぼ英語の中で進めることになりますが、話せなくても結構なんとかなります。

集合場所からジップラインのベースキャンプまで車で結構なでこぼこ道を進んで行きますが、これがなかなか楽しい。車酔いしやすい人は気をつけた方が良いかも・・・くらい揺れます。車内は容赦のない英語ガイドが炸裂します。時々話題をふられるので雰囲気で答えました（笑）
ツアーには日本人のご夫婦が１組一緒になりましたが、その他はオーストラリア、スペインなど海外の方でした。私は英語はほとんど話せないのですが、片言でも楽しく過ごすことはできました。ノリが大切です！

ベースキャンプに無料のロッカーがあるので、そこですべての荷物を預けることになります。スマホはポケットから落ちなければ持っていっても大丈夫。主人はアクションカムを持っていきました。ヘルメットなど装着するものがとにかく多く、かなりの重さになりますので持ち物は最低限に。

私たちのツアー参加者は皆さん長めのパンツを履いていました。ハーネスを装着するので、ショートパンツだと食い込んだりして痛そうです。長袖・半袖は半々くらいでした。他の方のコメントにもあるように、蚊にさされます。虫除けを準備しておくと良いかもしれません。私は日焼けも気になるので長袖で参加しました。
７カ所のポイントに行くのはちょっとした山登り風ですので、靴はスニーカーがおすすめです。雨の翌日だったこともあって、結構どろどろでした。

一緒になったファミリーには１０歳の女の子もいましたが、楽しんで参加していました。重たいものを背負って歩くのが苦でないことや、高所恐怖症でなければお子さんも楽しめるツアーだと思います。
　
ツアーガイドさんが３人ついてくれますが、日本語はほとんど通じません。でも一生懸命盛り上げてくれますので、ノリで一緒に楽しみましょう！「サイコー！！」「チョータノシイ！」とか言ってくれますよ（笑）
ワイキキ界隈のビーチも素敵ですが、自然の偉大さに包まれたジップラインもおすすめです。ぜひ楽しい時間を過ごしてきてください！！

This tour cannot proceed to the summit if the weather turns bad, and you won't be able to see the stars. In other words, you'll end up spending time that has no meaning. In that case, the refund is $15. While nature can be unpredictable, this tour is quite risky. Moreover, it seems that the weather often gets rough during the year-end and New Year period.

Also, when there is moonlight, the stars are not very visible. When I participated, it was just after sunset, around the first quarter moon, which created poor conditions for stargazing. If you expect a sky full of stars, it's best to check whether the moon is out just after sunset.

Children under 12 are not recommended to participate due to the potential risk of accidents caused by oxygen deprivation. However, locals were seen enjoying sledding and skiing with quite small children...

マウナケア山頂ツアーは合計７社が催行しておりそのうち５社が日本の会社、残り２社はアメリカの会社ということで、山頂は日本人か英語圏の観光客がほとんど。酸素が薄いため、かなりふらつきますが、山頂まではほぼ車中なので、体力に自信のない人でも参加可能です。なお山頂は、氷点下になります。防寒着の貸出はありますが、自前でも防寒着を用意する必要があります。カイロも酸素が薄いため、あまり熱くなりません。

１２歳以下の子どもは、万が一にでも酸欠による事故が起きた時、障害が残る可能性があるため推奨されないそうです。ローカルは結構小さな子どもを連れて、ソリやスキーを楽しんでいましたが……。

It was the best horseback riding experience. The explanations in English were very easy to understand, even for my 12-year-old and 8-year-old children. The people who accompanied us were fun and great! The horseback riding lasted a full hour along the coast, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the clarity of the water in Haleiwa. The location was also easy to get to. The sign is quite simple, so you might wonder if it's the right place, but I think it has a nice Hawaiian feel to it. I believe it would be easy to find with a navigation system.

最高の乗馬体験でした。英語での説明ですが非常に分かりやすく教えて頂き、12歳と8歳の子供達でも分かる内容でした。
一緒に回ってくれる方も楽しい人達で最高！
乗馬はかなり長めの1時間で海岸沿いを歩いて回りましたが、最高の景色でハレイワの海の綺麗さも堪能出来ました。
場所も簡単に行く事が出来ました。素朴な看板なので、ここかな？って思うぐらいですが、ハワイらしい感じで良いと思います。ナビがあれば簡単に行けると思います。

Our original trip was postponed due to snow on the summit of Mauna Kea but we rescheduled and had an unforgettable experience. Our guide Hank was great. As well as his astronomy expertise, he provided lots of information on Hawaiian culture. The views on the way up to the summit were spectacular. Great photographic opportunities of the sunset, views and night sky.
I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

There were few Japanese people, and some parts were difficult to understand in English, but I had a great time. It was more refreshing than I expected, and I was able to fully enjoy all seven zip lines. There were some challenging spots along the way, but there were water, bananas, tomatoes, and macadamia nuts available, which made for a nice break. When it suddenly started to rain, the raincoat I bought at ABC Mart was a lifesaver!
