The all-you-can-eat snacks and drinks, including alcohol, were great. Meals in Hawaii are quite expensive, so I had been struggling to eat my fill for a while, but this day I had dinner here, and the cocktails were delicious too.

Of course, the cruising was amazing. I've never seen such a beautiful sunset before. A couple of mother and baby whales came close to us! You could only see their backs and tails above the water, but they were adorable. When I went whale watching in Waikiki, I could only see them tiny and far away, so I really appreciated this tour.

I highly recommend it. There was a bit of distance from the hotel to the meeting place, so it was my first time renting a car overseas, but I think driving on the Big Island is relatively easy. I'm glad my debut went well. Thanks to that, I was able to visit various beaches, and I'm grateful for that!

お菓子とアルコール含む飲み物が食べ放題　飲み放題でした。とにかくハワイの食事が高いので　なかなかお腹いっぱい食べれない日が続いていて　この日はここで夕飯がわり　カクテルも美味しくて良かったです。

We had an exceptional guide who could field any question from our mostly middle age bunch. His knowledge of Hawaiian culture and history combined with present day challenges facing the island made the day a wonderfully enriching experience. Wear hiking boots or rough bottom hiking shoes. Prepare to get a little dirt and mud on you, meet new people and enjoy a leisurely day. Long pants are helpful if you tend to be cold natured and something with a sleeve for the top was appreciated by all. Sunglasses and hat were also helpful. They equip you with towel for the swim, bug spray, sun screen, rain poncho, water, snack and small shoulder pack for all this gear. The hike was easy for younger, experienced hikers and slightly challenging for older, not so great shape people. Expect the water to be very cold if you swim to waterfall at the end of trail. Really fun day. Worth our vacation time and dollars!

The excitement was at its peak.
Zipping through the trees. The swinging suspension bridge, and when I looked back, there was an Aussie laughing playfully. A concerned Indian couple worried about their partner who was too scared to move forward. A kind American elderly couple. Even without understanding the language, the screams were understood.

It was fun.

It was an English tour, so I didn't fully understand the precautions, but I managed somehow. The harness was secure, so I didn't feel any danger and had a great time. I was satisfied with being able to do nine zip lines. The suspension bridge was scarier. The price was on the higher side, but I thought it was worth it. The banana snack was delicious.

We participated in the zip line experience without transportation. It was the first time for both a 66-year-old and a 51-year-old. The meeting place is easy to find, just off the main road, and the parking lot is spacious. We left all items that could fall, like rings, bracelets, and cameras, and moved to the course in a jeep. This was enjoyable in itself.

The first line was a short trial zip. It gradually got longer, and the last one was a couple's zip. I think it’s a well-thought-out course. The instructor takes photos (it would be nice if it were a bit cheaper). It was a refreshing experience that took us away from our daily lives.

We were well informed of all the safety equipment on board in case of an emergency. We saw Dolphins on our cruise, which was also a highlight.

Ocean shores also has snorkeling trips which we will definitely be doing with them on our next trip.

I went here with my daughter because she rides and loves horses, and insists on riding horses once every trip. This time though, she wanted to canter because most trail rides are scenic and she wanted a actual ride. This place has amazing horses and the views are great, and you have a option to canter or take it slow. They assign you a horse based on what you need. Would definitely come here again, and probably will, because we visit Hawaii every once in a while .

Guides were thorough in instructions so all of us felt confident with our horses. We were helped on and off, which was appreciated. We were given the opportunity to cantor and gallop if we wished. The guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun! The green hills and cool breezes were lovely, did not use our jackets although the sun & wind were strong. They recommended a fun place, Fish and Hog, for lunch following the ride. I would recommend this ranch and ride.

It was hot since it was July. There were rentals for coats and boots, but they weren't necessary. Even when it drizzled a bit along the way, it was fine. It's better to apply sunscreen (I ended up getting really sunburned because I didn't). Each horse has its own personality, and the horse I rode didn't listen to me, but that's part of its charm.

The weather was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed horseback riding in the beautiful scenery, which was very healing.

Had a relaxing and fun day with the Kahua Ranch horseback group! Went with my husband and two teenage sons. My youngest son has high functioning Autism and was given a gentle sweet horse. The ranch is beautiful and has many types of terrain to ride across. The ranch is a working ranch with cattle and cows with calves. There are also sheep spread around the property. The guides are knowledgeable and fun and support the guests with instruction and help throughout the ride. This is a gentle relaxing ride for all skill levels. I would recommend this excursion for folks wanting a calm relaxing ride threw the pastures of Big Island! (The cows get all the best views on Big Island!)

The entire tour was in English, but I managed to get by by observing the people around me. I was a bit nervous because it was more expensive than I had imagined, but once it started, it was so much fun!

Regarding the itinerary, we started with the zip line. Since there wasn't much time to change, it's best to participate in swimwear or clothes that can get wet. We moved on to lunch without a break. Then we went trekking and cave exploring. We ended up waist-deep in water, but this wasn't mentioned by Veltra, so we couldn't go further and had to give up. After that, we headed to the waterfall. The water was cold, but the foreigners were swimming vigorously.

There are no places or time to change during this itinerary, so if you want to participate, I think it's best to prepare accordingly from your hotel.

We participated as a family of four. Our family was the only group on the tour, and we had one female guide with us. After preparing the saddles, we received instructions on how to ride and handle the horses. Everything was in English, but as long as you closely follow the guide's movements, you'll be fine! The handling instructions were just four basic commands: "go," "stop," "right," and "left," so it wasn't difficult.

And finally, we set off! Along the way, we even challenged ourselves to a canter while climbing up the vast ranch towards the mountains, and when we looked back, the stunning view of the Kohala Coast came into sight. It was a wonderful view, and I'm sure you can enjoy a refreshing feeling.

All the horses are well-trained and safe, but each horse has its own personality. The horse I rode seemed to dislike mud and chose to walk on dry ground, even if it meant staying away from the other horses. In contrast, the horse my wife rode seemed to love water and splashed right into the puddles. While we experienced a bit of the difficulty in controlling the horses, it was a fun time. I highly recommend that everyone try this experience!

[Additional Note]
The wind from the mountains felt cold, so even if it's sunny, I think it's better to borrow a jacket. Also, the horses will walk through puddles and muddy areas, so your shoes might get wet or dirty, so it's advisable to borrow boots as well. Both are available for free.

そしていよいよ出発です。途中、駆け足にも挑戦しながら広大な牧場を山の方に向かってどんどん登っていき、振り返るとコハラコーストの絶景が目に飛び込んできました。素晴らしい眺めです。爽快な気分が味わえるはずです。
どの馬もよく調教されていて危なくはありませんが、各々の馬に個性があります。私が乗った馬は「ぬかるみ」が嫌いらしく、他の馬から離れてでも乾いたところを選んで歩きました。と思えば妻が乗った馬は水に入るのが好きなようで水たまりにジャブジャブと入ります。思い通りに動かす難しさを少々味わいながらも楽しい時間でした。皆さんもぜひ体験してください！

【追記】
山からの風は冷たく感じましたので晴れていてもジャケットは借りたほうがいいと思います。また、水たまりやぬかるんだところを馬が進みます。靴が濡れたり汚れたりすることもあるかもしれませんのでブーツも借りたほうがいいと思います。いずれも無料でお借りできます。

This was THE COOLEST snorkel excursion. First they picked us up from our hotel, RAD. They have a marine biologist on board that taught us a lot about the creatures we'd be seeing and the ecosystem which was fascinating. The area they took us to was a gorgeous reef and we saw some amazing fish and sea creatures. The marine biologist was even diving for starfish that he showed everyone and let us pet while we were in the water. We got a good hour and a half of snorkeling and then it was time for a tasty sandwich bar lunch. On the way back was, yes what you've all been waiting for, an OPEN BAR. Those were the best drinks I got on the island. It was awesome, big shout out to the amazing crew.

It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Royal Kona Resort. As soon as you arrive at the ranch, there is a parking lot on the right side. The gate is closed, so you need to open it yourself to park. The staff speaks very clear English, which is reassuring. Riding through the grasslands feels wonderful. You can ride the horse for about 50 meters three times. The horses are very well-trained, so you can ride with confidence.

これは本当にすごいです、日本では到底考えられない体験です。2時間コースで満喫しました。

I participated with my high school daughter and husband. This was our third time riding, following the Grand Canyon and Parker Ranch on the Big Island, and we are still beginners. Before we rode, they explained how to ride and safety precautions very slowly and clearly in English. During the ride, they also talked about the ranch and the Big Island, engaging us in conversation, and they guided us in a very friendly and safe manner. We could see the coastline of Kona from the ranch, and the view was outstanding. They kept our valuables in a safe, which was really helpful.

We were lucky as the weather was cool and cloudy, but did not rain. Our guides were terrific. We had our "safety" talks and felt very comfortable with the safety harness and double clips used. Our party had ziplined before in Colorado and Costa Rica, so we had comparisons. Our guides were entertaining, knowledgeable and very patient. We did see wildlife - a hawk and of course, the mongoose. We did not want it to end.
