Due to the weather and not having any surf waves we were not able to attend the event, but the company that offered it they tried two different times to get us, just no waves to offer for surfing.

CPT Pononui Lealao and his assistant were great and provided us with a great adventure of being able to swim with the dolphins. Awesome adventure.

This was a great tour and the experience was awesome!!!

I was very satisfied to be able to see dolphins up close. I could tell that Daisuke, who guided us, truly cares about the dolphins. It was a precious experience to see the dolphins come up close to the surface of the water.

I was so excited that I couldn't take any photos at all, but I will keep the memories etched in my mind. When I visit Hawaii again, I definitely want to go see the dolphins again.

こんなにイルカを近くで見ることができて満足でした。
案内をしてくれたダイスケさんが本当にイルカを大事にいているのと話すことができるというのがわかりました。
イルカが水面ぎりぎりまで上がってきてくれたりして貴重な体験ができました。

興奮しすぎて写真を全然とれませんでしたが、記憶に焼き付けておきます。
またハワイ訪れた際はぜひまたイルカに会いに行きたいです。

I wasn't really sure about rafting, but it turned out to be so much fun! So, we signed up for it as a pair. When we arrived at the site, we were greeted by a bright and cheerful female crew member, and as we headed to the boat, a cool captain was waiting for us, which got me excited.

Rafting was more intense than I expected, and the rubber boat tilted at about a 45-degree angle, which honestly took me by surprise! We had two snorkeling sessions, and there were also sights like Captain Cook Point and dolphin watching. Throughout it all, the crew member was smiling, and it was a rich experience within a relaxed atmosphere. During snorkeling, I got a bit carried away and jumped into the sea, accidentally dropping the pipe to the seabed, but when I saw the captain dive in coolly saying, "Leave it to me," I couldn't help but think, "Captain Kenway!"

Since it was a tour from morning until early afternoon, by the time we returned to the port, one side of my thighs was sunburned. I should have sat on the other side too, haha. I recommend applying sunscreen properly or bringing a large towel with you.

The T-shirts the crew wore were really cool, so my only regret is that I didn't buy one on the way back.

ラフティングってあまりピンとこなかったんだけど、楽しいから！って事で２人で申し込んだ。現地に着くと底抜けに明るいクルーの女性の挨拶があって船に向かうと渋い船長が待っていてワクワクした。
ラフティングは思ったよりも過激で、ゴムボートが４５度ぐらい傾いたので正直面食らった！
シュノーケルが２回、キャプテン・クックポイントやイルカに釣り見物なんかもあったけど終始クルーの女の子が笑っていて、ゆったりとした時間の中で内容の濃い物だった。シュノーケルの時、調子に乗って海に飛び込んでパイプを海底に落としちゃったんだけど、船長が「俺に任せろ。｣ってかっこよく飛び込んでくれたのを見た時は思わず「ケンウェイ船長！」って思ったよ。
朝からお昼過ぎまでのツアーなので港に帰るころには太ももが片側だけ焼けてしまった。反対側にも座れば良かったｗ　しっかり日焼け止めを塗るか大きめのタオルを持って行く事をお勧めします。
クルーが着ていたＴシャツがかなりかっこよかったので、帰りに買ってこなかったのが唯一の後悔です。

I had met dolphins in places like Ogasawara before, but the dolphins I met here were small and really cute! I had been really looking forward to rafting, and it was even more fun than I expected, with the boat tilting quite a bit! The captain and the female crew member were very friendly, which made it easy to relax. When we were heading to a point, my hat got blown away by the wind, but they laughed and quickly went back to get it.

We went to a snorkeling point, and they contacted a fishing boat that was trolling to show us the catch, and we got to see dolphins too. The experience was really rich and I was never bored. The second snorkeling point we went to was especially beautiful, warm, and relaxing, leaving a strong impression.

On the way back, we had another thrilling rafting experience, and Captain Cook also provided explanations, which was fun. The lunch, chips, and fruits we had on the boat were also delicious and felt very refreshing! I want to participate again!!

いままで小笠原とかでイルカに会えたけど、ここで会えたイルカさん達は小さかったからかわいかった！
前からラフティングに興味があってすっごく楽しみだったけど、予想以上に船が傾いたりしてすごく楽しかった！　船長さんと女性のクルーさんもすっごく気さくな感じでリラックスできた。ポイントに行く時に帽子を風で飛ばされちゃったんだけど、笑いながらガーって戻ってくれた。
シュノーケルのポイント行ったり、トローリングしてる釣り船に連絡してくれて釣り上げる所を見せてくれたり、イルカを見たり内容がすごく濃くて全然飽きなかった。特に２ヶ所目に行ったシュノーケルポイントがとっても綺麗で暖かくてのんびりできて印象的でした。
帰りはまたまたラフティングですっごくドキドキしたけどキャプテン・クックさんの説明なんかもしてくれて楽しかったです。
あと船の上で食べるランチやチップス、フルーツも開放感があってすごくおいしかった！　また参加したいです！！

I heard that the dolphins were in a good mood on the day of our participation, and there were many dolphins that gathered at Daisuke-san's call! Just as Daisuke-san said, we were able to encounter them up close by simply waiting in their path instead of chasing them. Hearing their calls was incredibly soothing. It was moving.

The views of the Big Island and the ocean from the boat were also wonderful, making it a memorable tour.
When I come back to Hawaii, I would like to participate in the night manta tour.
Of course, I want to join the dolphin tour again too!

I truly appreciate both Daisuke-san and the captain.

参加日はイルカ達のご機嫌が良かったとのことですが、ダイスケさんの呼び掛けに集まってきたイルカ達が沢山！ダイスケさんの言う通り、イルカを追いかけずに、イルカ達の通り道で待ってるだけで近距離で出会うことが出来ました。鳴き声も聞けてとっても癒されました。感動です。

ボートから見るハワイ島や海の景色も素晴らしく、思い出に残るツアーでした。
また、ハワイに来たときは夜のマンタツアーに参加したいと思います。
もちろん、イルカツアーにも！

本当にダイスケさんもキャプテンにも感謝です。

I attended on June 13th. I was disappointed that I arrived late to the venue and ended up with a seat at the back. The ritual of wrapping a whole pig in banana leaves and digging it out from the hot earth was impressive. The show by the seaside was unique to Hawaii, and everyone at the venue had a great time. The buffet meal was also satisfying.

６月１３日に参加しました。会場に行く時間が遅くなり席が後ろになってしまったのが残念でした。豚１頭をバナナの葉でくるんで熱い土の中から掘り出す儀式は、圧巻でした。海辺のサイドでのショーは、ハワイならではで会場は、皆で盛り上がり楽しかったです。バイキングの食事も満足でした。

Had a GREAT time kayaking and snorkling. The sea caves were awesome and the cliff diving a little too adventurous for me, but loved watching others. Snorkling was great. Plenty of time to enjoy everything. GREAT GUIDES.

Very nice crew and boat. Good food and alots of toys .To many rules over all great time ..

We had a great time doing this. Our guide was so nice. She was upbeat, relaxed and professional. That set the tone for the trip and allowed all of us to relax and have fun. The sea cave was a little disappointing, it was more like a hole in the wall. The snorkeling was wonderful. All in all it was a thumbs up trip that I'd like to do again.

Was a beautiful experience. The people were kind and fun loving. The dancers were incredible and the food was delicious!! Very happy we got to see this luau I would go again and recommend it to anyone!!!

My family and my in-laws attended this event. Everyone enjoyed the food and the dancers. I thought the banana bread (very yummy!) was better than any of the dessert choices. All the performers looked like they really enjoy what they are doing.

Our kayaking trip was amazing! We were both first-timers, and our guide (Tori) did an excellent job explaining how to paddle, safety procedures, etc. if you're like me, you may be thinking, "You all say this is easy...but maybe you're just better at things than I am." Well, trust me: this is easy, fun, and wonderful. The trip was relaxing, and during the snorkeling part we saw lots of fish (yellow tang, parrot fish), an eel, and turtles. Once we got to the cliff and snack area, we also saw a mongoose! A note on the cliff: jump. Seriously, just do it. You will regret it if you don't.

In short, take this adventure! The staff are professional and friendly, and the activity itself is not to be missed. Thank you, Tori, for one of our favorite activities! You are awesome!

enjoyed the fishing trip even though only caught one skipjack tuna, the crew were very nice and did their best to catch some fish

It was our first time on the Big Island for our honeymoon, and while researching about swimming with dolphins, I came across this tour. After reading other people's reviews, I decided to participate, and I was really impressed by how considerate they were towards my husband, who was worried about seasickness. It made me feel very reassured. Above all, our guide Daisuke's passion for the dolphins was truly strong! His feelings were contagious, and thanks to him, I understood the meaning of "quality over quantity." We were able to see the dolphins up close, and both my husband and I were extremely satisfied. The captain was friendly and fun, and it was great how he frequently checked in with us. If we ever go back to Hawaii, we would definitely like to do this again.

新婚旅行で初めてのハワイ島だったのですが、イルカと泳げると聞いて調べていたところこのツアーに出会いました。他の方の口コミを見て参加を決めましたが、船酔いが心配だった彼をすごく気遣ってくださり、とても安心できました。何より、ガイドのダイスケさんのイルカへの気持ちがほんとうに強い！その気持ちがこっちにも伝わって、「数よりも距離」の意味がダイスケさんのおかげでわかりました。あんなに近くでイルカを見ることができ、夫婦ともに大満足です。キャプテンも気さくで楽しく、声をよくかけてくれたのがよかったです。またハワイに行くことがあれば、ぜひお願いしたいです。

Thoughts on participating in this tour:
1. There are times when you find yourself surrounded by foreigners, which can feel a bit uncomfortable.
2. I dived three times in total, but during the third dive, the water was deeper, and I couldn't see the beautiful underwater scenery as well. By the second dive, I was quite tired, so I was already full from diving.

Although I wrote some not-so-fun things above, the beauty of the Hawaiian sea during the first and second dives, especially the first dive, is amazing if the weather is good! You can see fish up close, and the coral is right in front of you!
Also, even if you can't speak English, one of the guides can speak some Japanese, so you don't have to worry too much. However, the explanations about the locations are given on printed materials beforehand, and I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't understand the live explanations.
One thing I want to caution participants about is that before going out to sea, you will go to the restroom, but it takes quite a while to get back to the restroom from there. Also, there are times when you accidentally swallow seawater while snorkeling, and in that case, you might end up drinking a lot of water.
So, you might have trouble finding a restroom.

このツアーに参加して思ったこと
１、周りが外人だらけになる場合があり肩身が狭いことが結構あります。
２、計３回ダイブしましたが、三回目は海の震度が深い場所でそれほど綺麗な海の中を見ることができませんでした。そして二回目以降は結構疲れているので海にもぐるのはもうお腹いっぱいでした。

上記にはあまり楽しくないようなことを書きましたが、ハワイの海の綺麗さは一回目と二回目のダイブ、特に一回目のダイブは天気が良ければ最高です！！
魚は近くで見れるし、サンゴも目の前！
また、英語がしゃべれなくてもガイドの一人は多少の日本語も喋れるのでそれほど深く考える必要はありません。ただ、場所の説明などは事前にプリントしたもので配られるますが、生の声での説明がわからないのでそこだけ残念でした。
ただ参加する人に注意しておきたいことは、海に出る前にトイレに行きますが、そこからトイレの場所に戻るまで相当時間がかかるのと、シュノーケリング中に間違って海水を飲むことがあり、その場合に水を飲むことが多いです。
なのでトイレに困るかもしれません。

When the time for the pickup arrived, an American got out of the car. Before saying "HELLO," he spoke fluent Japanese, saying, "Your husband is in the passenger seat." That's right, Stefan is a Samurai Blue born in Japan.

The day before, the name of the hotel was different from the reservation, which was a yellow card. I informed them about my leg issues. "I'll let the driver know," came the cheerful response. America is friendly to people with disabilities. Compared to that, Japan is a bit disappointing.

After finishing the pickups at each hotel, we headed to the Onizuka Visitor Center. It took about two hours, but with Stefan's lively chatter, we arrived in no time. We received drinks, miso soup, and a bento box. The person in charge of distribution was Matsuzaki-san, who spoke in a strange Osaka dialect. I finished my meal while glancing at the bento boxes from other tours. It was delicious.

After that, we geared up completely with ski pants, warm clothing, hats, and gloves to head to the summit. By the way, only Nature School lends out ski pants.

We switched from 2WD to 4WD and headed onto Saddle Road. The natural massage made my legs feel lighter, maybe? We stopped along the way for photos.

Finally, the long-awaited Subaru Telescope came into view. Excited, I went outside. It was cold. We took commemorative photos with the Subaru Telescope in the background. Stefan. (I wish he had told me my hat was a bit askew.) (Why is it that the Matsuzaki team is holding a banner and taking commemorative photos?)

The sky changed moment by moment, creating a romantic sunset. It quickly became pitch dark after sunset. We decided to descend within 30 minutes.

We did some stargazing around 3,900 meters. Familiar constellations like the Big Dipper, Polaris, and Scorpius were visible. There were so many stars that I got confused. I also saw the Southern Cross. I was disappointed in my own knowledge, thinking it could only be seen in the Southern Hemisphere. I saw Saturn's rings through a telescope. A cup of tea for a break.

Back to the Onizuka Visitor Center. Bathroom break. You must not sleep in the car on the round trip to the summit. If you sleep, you'll get altitude sickness.

On the way back to the hotel, I could have slept. But I couldn't because Stefan's Kamakura stories were so interesting. We arrived at the hotel after 11 PM.

It was long, but it was a valuable experience. (If I were younger, I would have jumped at the summit.)

Good job, Stefan. Go Samurai Blue in the World Cup! I'll cheer together with you.

当日ピックアップの時刻になり、車から降りてきたのはアメリカ人。「HELLO」と言う前に「旦那さんは助手席に」ペラペラな日本語。そうステファンは、日本生まれのサムライブルー。
　前日、ステイホテル名が予約と違っていて、イエローカード。足が悪いことを伝える。「担当ドライバーに伝えておきます。」と明るい声。アメリカは障害者に優しい。それと比べると日本はトホホ。
　各ホテルのピックアップを終了し、向かうは、オニズカ・ビジターセンター。２時間位かかったが、ステファンの軽快なおしゃべりで、あっと言う間に到着。飲み物と味噌汁と弁当をもらう。配布責任者は、妙な大阪弁のマツザキさん。他のツアーの弁当を横目で見ながら完食。美味しかった。
　その後、スキーパンツ、防寒着、帽子、手袋の完全装備で山頂へ。因みに、スキーパンツまで貸してくれるのは、ネイチャースクールさんだけとの事。
　２駆から４駆に切り替えサドルロードへ。自然のマッサージで、足が軽くなったかな？
途中で写真撮影。
　やっと待望のスバル天文台が見えてきた。心弾ませ外へ。寒い。スバル天文台をバックに
記念撮影。ステファン。（ちょっと帽子がずれていると言ってくれれば良かったのに）（何故だ。マツザキチームは横断幕を持って、記念写真を撮っているのに）
刻々と大空が変化し、ロマンチックなサンセット。日没後は直ぐ真っ暗に。３０分以内に下山が決まり事。
　３９００ｍ付近で天体観測。北斗七星、北極星、さそり座等の日本でおなじみの星座。見えすぎてわからなくなった。南十字星も見た。南半球でしか見えないと思っていた自分の知識のなさにがっかり。土星のリングは天体望遠鏡で。紅茶で一服。
　オニズカ・ビジターセンターへ。トイレ休憩。山頂までの往復の車中で、寝てはいけません。寝ると高山病になります。
　ホテルへの帰りは寝れます。でも寝れませんでした。ステファンの鎌倉物語が面白くて。１１時過ぎにホテル到着。
　長かったけど貴重な体験だった。（若かったら山頂で、跳んでいただろう。）

My wife and I went on the kayak and snorkel adventure about a month ago now and we were both so happy that we did. The bay itself and the surrounding areas are incredibly beautiful and kayaking is the best way to see it all. The snorkelling was great and our guide made everyone feel safe. Speaking of the guide, Jasmine was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made sure everyone had a great time. A personal highlight was jumping off of the cliffs into the ocean (twice!)We both had a fantastic time and I would thoroughly recommend the sea kayak adventure to anyone

This was an adventure we will treasure for a lifetime. Kayaking among Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and snorkeling in water with a spectacularly beautiful reef; home to dozens of species of fish. We even viewed Moray Eel and a large White Tip Shark. Words cannot do this justice. Our guide, Mike, was friendly, helpful and informative. It is an ideal excursion for those new to shorkeling and kayaking. The highlight of our Hawaiian vacation. Thank you so much.

One of the reasons we decided on our honeymoon in Hawaii was to see the stars at Mauna Kea. Since it was still early in the season and the weather was bad, I was really worried about whether we would be able to see anything.

On the way, while we were having our dinner bento, the sky was covered with clouds, and I was preparing myself for disappointment. However, although we couldn't see the starry sky at the summit, we persevered at a parking lot a bit lower down and were able to see beautiful stars and the red glow of volcanic flames reflected in the clouds.

I think this was possible because this tour provided warm jackets to borrow. Compared to other tours, the jackets were really thick and warm. The sunset we saw at the summit was also incredibly beautiful.

They took a lot of photos for us, and the fact that we could download them from the internet as much as we wanted was a delightful service. If you're going to the Big Island and want to book a stargazing tour, I highly recommend Mauna Kea Nature School.

ハワイの新婚旅行を決めた理由の一つがマウナケアで星をみる、ということでした。時期的にシーズンにはまだ早く、また天気も悪かったのでちゃんと見えるかとっても不安でした。
途中夕食のお弁当を食べる所でも空は雲に覆われており、だめかもっと覚悟していましたが、山頂では星空は見えなかったけど、ちょっと降りた駐車場でねばってくれて、きれいに星や火山の炎が雲にうつった赤い明かりなども見ることができました。
これも、暖かい上着を貸してくれるこのツアーだからだと思います。
ほかのツアーの方と比べてももっこもこの上下の上着でした。
山頂でみた夕焼けも最高にきれいでした。

写真もいっぱいとってくれて、好きなだけネットからダウンロードできるのも嬉しいサービスです。
ハワイ島にいって星空ツアーを申し込むなら、マサシネイチャースクールをおすすめしたいです。

On May 7th, I participated with another man. To start with my impressions, it was an absolutely wonderful experience!!

On the day of the event, the sky was overcast from the morning, and I was worried it might rain, but fortunately, by the evening, the sun started to shine, which was a relief. We headed to Honokohau Harbor by rental car. I had been to the harbor before, so I had no issues getting there. However, when I parked next to another car, a woman who seemed to be Japanese approached and asked, "Is this for manta rays?" When I replied "Yes," she told me that I should park on the opposite side instead of where I was. Although the area was spacious, I was instructed to park between the sea and the restroom (in the narrower area). The check-in instructions also mentioned to park between the harbor and the restroom, but when I actually went there, it seemed better to park in the wider area, so caution is needed.

When we arrived at the check-in bench, the woman from earlier informed a foreign captain about us, and he approached me in English. When I mentioned that I couldn't speak English, he greeted me in broken Japanese. He seemed like a kind captain.

After a while, the people for the shuttle service arrived. The driver appeared to be a somewhat flashy Japanese person? (At that point, he was wearing sunglasses and speaking normal Japanese, so I couldn't tell, but he had brown eyes and seemed to be a half-Japanese young man who spoke English fluently. He would be our guide on the boat, and he was really a nice guy. The woman from earlier was no longer around by this time.)

Once all the participants gathered, we adjusted the sizes of our wetsuits and fins. Although it was stated that wetsuits were available for rental upon request, everyone was given one without confirmation on that day. It was mentioned that only those who wanted to could wear fins. Regarding life jackets, there was an explanation later that they would be on the boat, but I think it's better for those who are not confident in swimming to request to wear one at this point.

This time, there were eight Japanese participants, including us, two foreigners, and the captain and guide, making a total of twelve people on a rubber boat-type (though it's a large and sturdy boat, so no worries) speedboat, and we finally set sail. With this number of people, it was spacious enough, but since it was an open type, depending on the wind direction, we might get splashed with water, so it's better to wear clothes that can get wet.

We left the harbor and headed towards a point behind the airport, which is said to be a recent spot. After about 20 minutes of travel, we arrived at the point near the airport and joined another boat. While enjoying the sunset for a while, we received a lecture about manta rays from our guide while waiting for it to get dark. (The information about manta rays at this time was truly fascinating.)

As it started to get dim, we entered the water. The water temperature was about 26°C, so it didn't feel too cold. While holding onto a stick-like buoy, when I reached the board held by the guide, he said, "Mantas are already here!" I hurriedly looked underwater, and there they were, right in front of me!! Excitement and the fact that it had been a while since I last snorkeled made me swallow a bit of water. (Sweat) We were warned beforehand not to touch the mantas, but they were so focused on feeding that they came right up to me without a care. One by one, the mantas increased in number, and at one point, there were six of them right below me at the same time. As I became more comfortable, I started to observe the cute eyes, gills, and the different patterns on their bellies. By this time, the legendary manta "Lefty" also made an appearance.

After enjoying the mantas for a while, the current started to get stronger. Just then, it seemed that the guide was pulling the board for a slight move. Then, what could be called the main event of the day unf

５月７日に男２人で参加してきました。
参加した感想から先に言ってしまえば、大変素晴らしい体験が出来ました！！
当日は朝から雲が厚く、雨が降るのではないかとやきもきしていましたが、幸い夕方頃には光も射してきて一安心。レンタカーでホノコハウハーバーに向かいます。ハーバーには以前行った事が有り、問題無く行かれたのですが、先行者の隣に車を停めたところ日本人らしき女性が近付いて来て、「マンタですか？」と聞かれたので「ハイ」と答えると、車は此処ではなく反対側に停めて下さいとの事。敷地は広々と空いているのですが、海とトイレの間（狭い方）に停めなければならないとの事です。チェックイン場所の案内にもハーバーとトイレの間に停めるよう書いてあるのですが、実際に行ってみると広く空いている方に停めた方が良さそうに思えてしまうので注意が必要ですね。
チェックイン場所のベンチへ行くと、先ほどの女性がキャプテンらしき外人さんに我々の事を伝えてくれ、キャプテンが英語で話掛けてきてくれましたが、英語が出来ない旨伝えると、カタコトの日本語で挨拶をしてくれました。優しそうなキャプテンです。
暫くすると送迎組の人達もやって来ました。送迎の運転手を務めていたのは一見チャラそうな日本人？（この時点ではサングラスを掛け、普通に日本語をしゃべっていたため分からなかったのですが、目は茶色く英語も普通に話すハーフ？だと思われる青年。彼がガイドとして船に乗り込むのですが、実にナイスガイです。先の女性はこの頃には居なくなっていました。）
参加者が揃ったところで、ウエットスーツと足ヒレのサイズを合わせます。ウエットスーツは希望制レンタル…のように書いて有りますが、当日は確認されずに全員に渡されました。足ヒレは希望者のみ装着で構わないとの事。救命胴衣に関しては、後ほど船に積んで有る旨説明は有りますが、泳ぎに自信が無い方は、この時点で装着したいと申し出た方が良いと思います。
今回の参加者は私達含め日本人が８名、外国人２名にキャプテン＆ガイドの計１２名でゴムボートタイプ（ゴムボートと言っても大きくガッチリしているのでご安心を）の高速艇に乗り込み、いよいよ出港です。これぐらいの人数ならゆったり乗れますが、オープンタイプのため風向きによっては水しぶきを被りますので潮水がかかっても良い服を着て行った方が良いでしょう。
港を出て、最近のポイントだという空港裏を目指します。２０分程走り空港裏岸寄りのポイントに着き、先行艇の仲間入り。しばしサンセットを堪能しつつ、ガイドさんにマンタについてのレクチャーを受けながら、暗くなるのを待ちます。（この時のマンタの話が実に興味深いものばかりでした。）
薄暗くなって来たところで入水します。水温は２６℃程だということで、それほど冷たさは感じません。棒状の浮きを抱えながら、ガイドさんの持つボードまで行くと「もうマンタが来てますよ！」と言うガイドさんの声に慌てて水中を覗き込むと、もうマンタが目の前に！！興奮と久しぶりのシュノーケルという事も有り、少し水を飲んでしまいました。（汗）事前にマンタに触れないよう注意を受けるのですが、マンタの方は食事に夢中で、お構いなしに眼前に迫って来ます。一枚二枚とマンタは増えていき、最多では六枚同時に眼下に来てくれました。少し余裕が出てくると、マンタの可愛い目やエラ、お腹の模様の違いなど観察出来る様になってきます。この頃には伝説のマンタ「レフティ」も登場してくれました。
ひとしきりマンタを堪能した頃に潮の流れがきつくなって来ました。と、思ったら、どうやらガイドさんがボードを引張って小移動しているもよう。すると此処で本日のメインイベントともいうべき光景が目の前に広がって来ます。今までの、ボードから下に向かって射していた光とはまったく別の光が広がってきたかと思うと同時に”リアル竜宮城”の世界が広がります。
ここから先を詳しく書いてしまうとネタばれになってしまうので、ここから先は参加してのお楽しみにしておきましょう！（すでに書きすぎの感は有りますが(汗)）この時期なら帰りの船上もそれほど寒くもなかったので、本当にお勧めのアクティビティですね。
自然のマンタナイトシュノーケリングは、今の所ハワイ島でしか楽しめないそうなので、興味の有る方は是非是非物のアクティビティだと思います。
日本に戻っても”あの光景”はなかなか頭を離れません。次回ハワイ島に行く機会が有れば、マンタナイトを優先して予定を組む事でしょう。必ずリピートしたいと思います。それほど素晴らしい体験でした。

The tour guide was awesome! I can't remember her name, but she pointed out a ton of cool sites (sights) and even knew how to hula dance! The food and drinks were delicious and it was a great experience! We even saw whales and spinner dolphins! Oh and LT Smooth was awesome too.

It was a great experience for the whole family, great staff, very helpful and informative, we were a bit disapointed because it was cut short.......we realized it after we were off the sub, other than that I recommend it.

I attended with my husband and my 23 year old son, which is physically challenged. I couldn't thank the crew enough, they were awesome attending to my sons needs. I on the other hand got sea sick, and couldn't enjoy the way I had plan to, but my husband was amazing taking care of me. It was quite an experience.

I just returned from my dream trip to the Big Island of Hawaii! I stayed for three nights, but it wasn't enough. This time, I participated in a night snorkeling experience swimming with wild manta rays, which was featured on the TV show "Tabi Salad." I think most people have only seen manta rays in aquariums.

I boarded the boat of Manta University’s Night Division, filled with excitement. With the captain and a handsome Nisei staff member, we cruised the Hawaiian waters for about 20 minutes on a high-speed boat to our snorkeling point. While enjoying the sunset, the handsome staff member shared fascinating information about manta rays in fluent Japanese, and my anticipation grew knowing that this unique experience could only be had on the Big Island.

Finally, we changed into our wetsuits, put on fins and snorkels, and entered the water. Within five minutes, a manta ray appeared! I was thrilled to be so close! But what surpassed that excitement was when the manta ray began to flip right in front of me multiple times a few minutes later. Amazing! So cute!

I lost track of time as several manta rays continued to perform flips right before my eyes. On the way back, we cruised through the dark sea, gazing at the beautiful starry sky, still savoring the experience with the manta rays as we returned to the harbor.

If you visit the Big Island, I highly recommend participating in this unique tour that you can only experience here! Thank you to the kind and attentive crew!

憧れのハワイ島に行ってきました！　雄大で活動的なハワイ島
に三泊しましたが物足りませんでした。今回は、テレビ（旅サラダ）で
放映された 野生のマンタと泳ぐ！ナイト・シュノーケリング に参加
しました。ほとんどの方がマンタは水族館でしか見たことがないと思います。
創造を膨らませてマンタ大学夜学部のボートに乗りました。　キャプテンと
日系二世のイケ面君のスッタフで約２０分の高速ボートでハワイの海をクルーズ
ポイントに到着してサンセットを眺める間イケ面君の流暢な日本語でまだ知られ
てないマンタのことを教えてもらい、このハワイ島だけしかこのマンタの体験が
出来ないことに期待が膨らみました。
いよいよウエットスーツに着替えフィンとシュノーケルを付けて海に入りました。
５分もするとマンタが現れました！　手の届くほどの距離に感動！しかしその感動
を数倍超えるものが数分後に、マンタが目の前で何度も宙返りを繰り返します
すごい！カワイイ！
時間を忘れて何枚のマンタが現れ目の前で宙返りを繰り返してくれました。
帰りのボートは真っ暗な海のクルーズ、綺麗な星空を眺めマンタの余韻を
残し帰港。
ハワイ島に行かれたら是非このハワイ島でしか体験できないこのツアーに

This was my first time on the Big Island, and I wanted to fully enjoy nature, so I joined this tour that a friend had recommended. Since the meeting point was at the port, I was initially quite anxious, but it turned out to be a compact port, and as soon as we entered the parking lot, our guide waved at us enthusiastically, making it easy to meet up without any issues.

Actually, both my spouse and I are quite large, but they provided wetsuits that fit us comfortably, and they were very clean and comfortable to wear. As soon as the boat departed, I imagined we would be quite far offshore, but it was actually a safe spot right along the coast next to the airport, where we could easily swim back to shore. The sun was still up for quite a while, so we got to enjoy some snorkeling and watched a beautiful sunset from the boat.

After that, we received a lecture on manta ray behavior and how to observe them until it got dark, and then it was finally time to get in the water. You might think it would be cold and scary to dive into the ocean at night, but it wasn't scary at all; we just jumped off the boat and held onto something that looked like a surfboard floating nearby. Once we were in the water, a huge manta ray swam right towards us! I was so excited!

We can't touch the manta rays to protect them, but they actually come close to us. They were coming to eat the plankton attracted to the light attached to the surfboard, so there were many completely natural manta rays swimming around without any feeding involved. Other tour boats were anchored nearby, and when I looked into the water, I saw beams of light everywhere, with many giant manta rays swimming gracefully around them. In fact, "flapping" would be a more accurate description. The sight was truly magical, like something out of this world!

After enjoying the experience, we got back on the boat and rinsed off with fresh water, feeling refreshed as we returned to the port. However, it did get cold on the way back. We didn't exert ourselves much while just floating in the water, but it got chilly on the return trip, so bringing a sweatshirt or hoodie that can handle saltwater would make the return much more comfortable. This tour seems to be a unique experience that can only be had on the Big Island, so I highly recommend it! It's sure to impress people of all ages.

今回、初めてのハワイ島でしたので、とことん自然を満喫しようと思い、以前友人が参加してオススメされたこのツアーに参加しました。
集合場所が港だったので、最初は凄い不安だったのですが、コンパクトな港で、しかも我々が港の駐車場に入った途端、ガイドさんが大きく手を振って頂いたので、全く問題無く簡単に合流出来ました。実は夫婦共々かなりの大柄体型なのですが、我々でも余裕で入るサイズのウェットスーツも用意されてあって、非常に清潔で着心地も良かったです。すぐに船が出発すると、相当の沖合と想像していましたが、なんとエアポートのすぐ横の海岸沿いで、泳いでもすぐに岸に辿り着けるような安心した場所でした。結構陽が長かったので、少しシュノーケリングで遊ばせてもらい、船の上で綺麗なサンセットを眺めました。その後、薄暗くなるまでマンタの習性や鑑賞方法などのレクチャーを受け、いよいよ水の中へ。夜に海に潜るのですから、「寒くて怖いのでは？」と思われるかも知れませんが、ドボ〜ンと船から降りて、すぐ横の浮かんでいるサーフボードみたいなものに捕まっているだけなので、全く怖くなかったです。海に入ったらもういきなり巨大なマンタが、我々めがけて泳いで来ました！　もう、大興奮してしまいました！　マンタを保護するために触ってはいけないのですが、マンタの方が触れて来ます。サーフボードに取り付けたライトに寄って来たプランクトンを食べに来ているので、何も餌付けなど一切してない、完全に天然のマンタが沢山泳いで来るのです。他のツアーの船も周囲に停泊しているので、海の中をのぞくと、光の柱があちこちに出来ていてその周りを沢山の巨大マンタが悠々と泳いでいます。というより羽ばたいているという表現の方が正確です。その光景はまさに幻想的で、この世のものとは思えない光景でした！　十分に鑑賞してから船にあがり真水のシャワーをかけてもらい、ある程度スッキリした状態で、港に戻る事が出来ました。ただ、帰りは、やはり寒かったです。水中でじーっとしているので、体力など全く使わないのですが、帰りは寒くなるので、塩水に触っても問題無いようなトレーナーやパーカーを持参すると帰りが凄い楽でしょう。　このツアーはハワイ島でしか体験出来ないらしいので、是非オススメします！　老若男女誰でも感動する事間違いないです。
