We participated as a family with no English skills at all. Therefore, we couldn't understand what was being explained and were just paddling the sea kayak.

I would recommend this to those who are fluent in English. The reason is that my high school son underestimated the sea kayak and signed up for a single kayak, but he ended up "exhausted" and couldn't keep up with the speed of the other participants, falling behind. At that time, the guide performed the amazing feat of towing my son's kayak.

It was a day that made me acutely aware of how much I wish I could speak English.

英語が全く出来ない家族での参加でした。よって、何を説明されているのかが理解出来ずに、只々、ｼｰｶﾔｯｸを漕いでいる状態でした。

英語の堪能な方にはお薦めしたいと思いました。
理由は高校生の息子がｼｰｶﾔｯｸを甘く見てsingleで申し込んだのですが、「疲れた果てた」為、他の参加者のｽﾋﾟｰﾄﾞについて行けず、一人遅れての状態となりました。
その際、ｶﾞｲﾄﾞの方が息子のｶﾔｯｸを牽引してくれるという離れ業を行って下さいました。

英語がしゃべれたらなぁ～と痛感した一日でした。

Wow! This was an awesome experience! Our hosts, Ashley and Santino were friendly, knowledgable, helpful and fun! Kayaking was beautiful and snorkeling spectacular! We will definitely do this again the next time we're on the Big Island and we highly recommend you experience this for yourself too!

The Kayak and Snorkel Adventure was great! Our family of 5, including two 10 year olds and a 6 yr old, participated. It was a bit much for our kiddos to paddle the whole way so the majority of the work was on the parents. We were able to get a 3 person kayak for the 6 yr old, a 10 yr old, and a parent. Once we got to the snorkeling location it was fun to snorkel then get out and have fresh pineapple then jump off the cliff into the ocean! The guides were super friendly and very helpful. At times kayaks would fall behind the group and they always had someone who stayed with them just to make sure they were OK. There was never pressure to hurry up, etc. I am giving it a 4 vs. a 5 because we didn't see/go into any sea caves which was one thing we were looking forward to. I would recommend!

The tour guides were ver knoweldgable, especaiily Chris. It was my childhood dream to see the Keck telescopes and it became a reality, The sunset view was amazing and the diamonds in the sky, aka the starts were even better. I saw satellites and shooting stars and the milkyway galaxy.

I participated in snorkeling on the Big Island for the first time. I was anxious because I had heard it wouldn't be in Japanese, but I was able to check in without any problems. However, all the explanations on the boat were in English, so I couldn't understand anything at all. They gave us a printout in Japanese beforehand, so I was asking if they were talking about what was written there. By the way, we were the only Japanese family on board.

As soon as we set off, we encountered a pod of dolphins, which was very moving. Since it was rafting, the front seats were really bumpy and thrilling, which made it a lot of fun! The captain tilted the boat left and right, which was entertaining. We had plenty of time for snorkeling and could really enjoy ourselves. There were many beautiful fish. The Blue Cave was more of just a hole than a cave, but the sea was beautiful.

Even though I couldn't speak English, I was able to communicate somehow, and the captain was very kind. It became a wonderful memory!

初めてのハワイ島でシュノーケリングもできるということで参加しましたっ✳︎
日本語じゃないと聞いていたので不安でしたが、問題なく受付できましたっ。
でも、船の中での説明は全部英語だったので全く理解出来ませんでした。
あらかじめ日本語でかいてあるプリントを渡してもらえたので、だいたいこのことを今いってるのかな？って聞いてました。
ちなみに日本人は、私たち家族しかいなかったですσ(^_^;)
さっそく出発したら、イルカの群れに会いました✳︎とても、感動しました。
ラフティングということだけあって、前の席はすごい揺れてスリル満点で楽しかったです‼︎
船長さんが、左右に船を傾けてくれおもしろかったです。
シュノーケリングもたっぷり時間があり、のびのびできました。
魚もたくさんいてキレイでした。
青の洞窟は、洞窟っていうよりただの穴でしたが海はキレイでした。
英語を話せなかったですが、なんとか通じることもでき親切な船長さんでした。
とてもいい思い出になりましたV(^_^)V

On the day of the event, we were blessed with beautiful weather, a blue sky, a sunset, and a sea of clouds... it was a continuous display of stunning scenery. The landscape illuminated by the supermoon was magical. The views of the moon's surface and Saturn through the telescope were perfect! Lying on the ground without any wind to watch the starry sky and shooting stars was pure bliss. However, the only downside was that the moon was too bright, making it hard to see the stars!! I couldn't see the Milky Way (tears). My dream of seeing the Milky Way and a star-filled night sky will have to wait until next time. Thank you for a wonderful time.

当日は天候に恵まれ、青空と夕日と雲海と・・・・美しい景色の連続でした。そしてスーパームーンに照らし出される幻想的な風景。望遠鏡の月面や土星もパーフェクト！　風もなく地面に寝転がって見る星空や流れ星は至福の時間そのもの。が、ただ一つの誤算は、月が明るすぎて星が少ない！！　天の川が見えなかった（涙）　憧れの天の川や星だらけの夜空は、次回まで持ち越しです。素敵な時間をありがとうございました。

I feel that the water's transparency is low. However, the children seemed satisfied as they were able to ride in a submarine and see fish and a sunken ship. I thought it might be short, but it seemed to be enough for the kids.

海の透明度が低い気がします。
でも子どもも潜水艦に乗って、魚や沈没船を見れて満足してそうでした。短いかなと思いましたが、子どもには十分そうでした。

I have no complaints about the tour itself, but due to the weather, I couldn't see anything at all. Moreover, it seems that the sunset and starry sky were clearly visible the day before and the day after (today), so it was the worst timing possible.

I was told that it’s rare not to see anything during this season, so I never expected something like this to happen.

The tour guides worked hard, and I appreciate that, but since I didn’t see anything, I can’t really evaluate it fairly. I deeply regret that I couldn’t fulfill my main purpose for this trip to Hawaii, which was stargazing.

It feels unbelievable that such rare weather occurred, and that it happened to be on a day when I couldn’t see anything after months of waiting.

The chances of a comeback are low, but I really, really want to see a sky full of stars. Thank you.

ツアー自体になんの不満もないのですが、天候のせいで全く何も見れませんでした。
しかも前の日と次の日（今日）はしっかりと夕日と星空が見えているようなので、最悪なタイミングだったようです。

この時期にはほとんど見れない事はないとのことだったので、まさかこんな事になるとは思ってもみませんでした。

ツアーの方々はいろいろ頑張ってくれたのでその点は満足しております、ただ、何も見ていないので、評価しようがなくて普通にしています。今回の渡ハの1番の目的だった星空観測が全くできなかった事が悔やまれて仕方ないです。

運が悪かったと言うにはあまりにも稀な天候とここ何ヶ月でピンポイントでその日が見れないという事態が未だに信じれない気持ちです。

リベンジできる可能性は低いですが是非、是非、満天の星空が見てみたいものです。
ありがとうございました。

It's not just about watching the show and eating Hawaiian food at the buffet; activities before the show and meal, such as hula, poi ball, lei making, and tattoos, are also enjoyable. It feels like you can experience Hawaiian culture with all your senses. However, everything is in English (and spoken very quickly), and there are very few Japanese guests. If you want to fully enjoy the luau, I, with my middle school level English skills, struggled to keep up. Ah, I wish I had better English skills!

ショーを観て、ビュッフェでハワイアンフードを食べて〜というだけではなく、フラ、ポイボール、レイメイキング、タトゥー等々、ショーや食事の前のアクティビティーが楽しい。ハワイの文化を五感で体験できるといった感じ。ただやはり全て英語（しかも超早口）、日本人のお客さんもとても少ない。ルアウをフルに楽しもうと思ったら、英語力中学生レベルの私は、ついて行くのに精一杯でした。あぁぁ英語力が欲しい！

This was an amazing experience, the rays swam around gathering up the plankton and came within milimeters of us. The staff were very friendly.

The cruise was excellent. We saw dolphins on the way out and on the way back. When we anchored we had about 2.5 hours to snorkel, jump off the boat and play with the various water equipment. The kids particularly enjoyed using the paddle board. The breakfast and lunch was great and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Even if you're not confident in your swimming skills, it's perfectly fine to join alone. The staff's attentiveness and care make you feel at ease. I believe I had an experience that was not just like the photos in the guidebook, but even better.

I swam alongside a pod of dolphins, followed the silhouette of a dolphin gracefully arching underwater, and spotted a baby dolphin clinging to its mother. The highlight was when the guide led us to a spot where a dolphin swam towards us, gliding right in front of us. For a moment, the dolphin looked at us, and we were all so excited! We confirmed with each other, "Did we just make eye contact?" At first, I hesitated to join alone because my family is prone to seasickness, but I'm really glad I participated.

泳ぎに自信がなくても、一人参加でも大丈夫。スタッフさんの目配り&気配りがあるので安心です。とにかくガイドブックの写真のような、というよりそれ以上の体験ができたと思います。
イルカの群れと並んで泳いだり、水中深く弧をえがくいるかのシルエットを追ったり、お母さんイルカのお腹にくっついて泳ぐ赤ちゃんイルカを見つけたり。中でもガイドさんが引っ張って誘導してくれた先に一匹のイルカがこちらに向かって泳いできて、目と鼻の先をスーッと横切って行った時、一瞬イルカちゃんがキョロっと私たちを見てくれたのには大興奮！「いま、目があったよね？」とお互い気のせいじゃない事を確認したのでした。最初、家族が船酔い体質のため一人で参加するか迷ったけど参加して本当によかったです。

I participated with three friends. As others have mentioned, on the day we joined, we were the only Japanese participants, while the other attendees were about 16 people in total, including families, couples, and local friends. The captain was considerate, seating those who were prone to seasickness at the back of the boat.

I thought we would head straight to the snorkeling point, but instead, we enjoyed a tour of Kona from the sea and even went searching for a pod of dolphins, making the journey to the snorkeling spot enjoyable.

Once we arrived at the snorkeling point, we were free to explore at our own pace and had a great time interacting with the fish. The snorkeling gear provided was of good quality, and there were plenty of support items like kickboards and flotation devices.

After snorkeling, we could eat as much as we wanted on the boat, enjoying sandwiches, potato chips, cookies, fruits, juice, and water. I felt both my stomach and heart were full, and despite the boat speeding back, it was a challenge to stay awake!

友人３人で参加しました。みなさんも書かれていたように私たちが参加した日も日本人は私たちのみで、他の参加者は、家族連れやご夫婦、地元の友人同士など、総勢16名程度の出航でした。キャプテンは酔いやすい人をボートの後ろ側に座らせるなど、配慮もしてくれました。
シュノーケルポイントにすぐ向かうのかと思いきや、コナの街を海から紹介してくれたり、イルカの群れを探しに行くなど、シュノーケルポイントにつくまでも楽しく過ごすことができました。
ポイントについてからは、各自自由に行動でき、ゆっくりと思い思いに魚と戯れることができました。貸してくれたシュノーケルグッズもちゃんとしていて、ビート板や浮き棒などサポートグッズも豊富でした。
シュノーケル後は、船の上で、サンドウィッチやポテトチップス、クッキーやフルーツ、ジュースや水など、好きなだけ食べることができました。
胃も心も満たされて、帰りはボートが爆走しているにもかかわらず、寝落ちしないようにするのが大変でした。

Our Crew was wonderful, the experience truly once in a lifetime and it's an experience we will always remember. Recommend highly and without hesitation!!!

I thought there would be some Japanese people, but everyone except us was from an English-speaking country. I could hardly understand the explanations. My companion had snorkeling experience, so we managed to get by with their help.

While rafting, we spotted a pod of dolphins that approached us at an incredible speed, and we were able to observe them several times.

The lava cave wasn't really much of a cave. It was just a part where the waves had worn away the rocks, so it was a bit disappointing.

Kealakekua Bay was very beautiful and a lot of fun.

少しは日本人がいるかと思いましたが、自分達以外は全員英語圏の方達でした。説明もほぼ分からず。連れがシュノーケル経験があったので、聞きながらやりました。
ラフティング中イルカの群れを見つけると、すごい勢いで接近してくれ、何度か群れを観察することができました。
溶岩洞窟は洞窟というほどのものではないです。ちょっと波で岩が削れた部分、ぐらいのものなので、期待外れでした。
ケアラケクア湾はとても綺麗でものすごく楽しかったです。

Joel was the best tour guide. He shared so much INTERESTING info! He was accommodating to our son with autism as well. This was one of the major highlights of our trip. Great lunch too!

Great crew, wonderful experience, saw dolphins at a distance

I couldn't find the check-in location, and before I knew it, there was a pretty long line for check-in. Even with a reservation, you need to line up early to get good seats, so be careful.

チェックイン場所が分からず、気づいたらチェックインのためのかなり長い列ができていた。予約していても早くから並んでいないと良い席は取れず注意が必要。

We spent a fabulous morning searching for the dolphins and getting in the water with them. We were fortunate that there were only 4 others on the boat with us. The crew was outstanding and made sure we got in the water and knew where the dolphins were. The captain was fantastic at finding the dolphins and positioning us in the best place possible to swim with the dolphins. The boat was clean and a joy to be on out in the ocean. The crew and captain were very attentive and engaging. Great trip. Highly recommend!!

I participated alone, but the guide, Mr. Konno, took great care of me, so I was able to have a wonderful time. The sunset was worth the money I paid to see it. The starry sky was also very beautiful, and I was able to see artificial satellites and shooting stars, along with explanations about the stars, making it a lovely day.
It's truly amazing that we can drive to an altitude of over 4,000 meters.

一人で参加しましたが、ガイドのコンノさんがとてもケアしてくれたので楽しく過ごすことができました。サンセットもお金を払ってみる価値がありました。星空もとてもきれいで人工衛星や流れ星もみることができ、星の説明もあり素敵な一日となりました。
車で標高4000メーター以上にいけるのは、改めてすごいなぁ～と思います。

Great adventure with a well organized, professional, informative crew! Originally booked a different tour for my boyfriend as a birthday present, but Veltra contacted me when that tour wasn't going to run and connected me with this outfit, especially since they were based right outside our hotel. I'm so glad they did! We didn't see dolphins, but had a great time snorkeling and exploring the coast under the guidance of Captains Patrick and Cassie. Great experience all around. Highly recommend!

The tour was the highlight of our 3-night stay on the Big Island of Hawaii!

Seeing the beautiful sky, ocean, and mountains from the boat offered a different perspective than from land, and it was so soothing. To top it off, we got to swim with dolphins...

It truly felt like a dream!

Both my husband and I were not confident swimmers, and it was our first time swimming in deep water, which made us a bit fearful. However, by the end of the tour, we enjoyed it so much that we wished we could keep swimming. If we have the chance to visit the Big Island again, we definitely want to participate again!

とにかくキレイな空と海、山々を船の上から見ると、陸から見るのとまた違った表情が見えて、それだけでも癒されるのにイルカちゃんと一緒に泳げるなんて……

本当に夢のような時間でした！！

夫婦そろって泳ぎには自信がなく、足がつかない所で泳ぐのは初めてだったので恐怖感があったのですが、
ツアーが終わる頃には、ずっと泳いでたいと思えるほど楽しめました。
今度またハワイ島に行く機会があれば、絶対参加したいと思います！

This was a great little kayak tour. The guides were absolutely awesome (don't remember their names). We were hoping to see a few more sea caves/lava tubes, and thought we might be able to go in them. We only got to take a look at one sea cave, and we just paddled up to it and looked. The snorkeling was good, and the cliff jump was awesome as well. Well worth the money!

At first, I was worried about whether it would be okay for older people to participate in stargazing at an altitude of 4,200 meters. However, thanks to the thoughtful explanations and guidance from our guide, Mr. Konno, being able to observe such a wonderful starry sky became a lifelong memory. If you are traveling to the Big Island, I highly recommend joining the tour at "Masashi Nature School." Thank you very much, Mr. Konno! I hope to see you again, so please don't forget "Noda"...

初めは、４２００ｍの高山での星空観測に年寄りが参加しても大丈夫かとの不安がありました。しかし、ガイドの今野さんの気配りのある説明や指導で「あのような素晴らしい星空を観測できたこと」は、一生の思い出となりました。もしこれからハワイ島へご旅行の方は、是非とも「マサシネーチャースクール」のツアーに参加して下さいね。今野さん本当に有難うございました！またお会いしたいと思っていますので「野田」をお忘れなく・・・

I'm so glad I was able to participate in the long-awaited tour to the summit of Mauna Kea at 4,200 meters!

I was worried about the cold, but this tour provides warm clothing, hats, and gloves, so there were no problems at all!

The air is thin at the summit, which can be a bit uncomfortable and cold, but the breathtaking views make you forget all that! The stunning sunset will be etched in your memory!

After sunset, you can see an amazing starry sky. I saw the Milky Way and the Southern Cross so clearly for the first time!

The guide also provides detailed explanations about the stars, making it so enjoyable that you lose track of time.

With this tour, you can download photos taken by the guide from the website at any time. You can also view them, so you can share them with your friends anytime. I think it's a very generous service!

The guide was wonderful too! I definitely recommend participating in this tour! I don't think you'll regret it!

念願だった4200メートルのマウイケア山頂のツアーに参加出来てとても良かったです！
寒さの心配がありましが、こちらのツアーは上下の防寒着、帽子、手袋を貸しての頂けるので、全く問題なしです！

山頂は空気が薄くて少しは苦しく寒いですが、そんな事を忘れる位の絶景です！
素晴らしい夕日が目に焼き付きますよ！

日が暮れたら、これまた素晴らしい星空を見る事が出来ます。
天の川に南十字星、こんなに綺麗に見れたのは初めてです！

ガイドさんが丁寧に星の説明もしてくれるので時間を忘れるくらい楽しめます。

I participated in mid-June. The day before, I went to the office to confirm my reservation and check the parking lot for the departure location, but the road from the parking lot to the office was under repair and was in the water. When confirming my reservation at the office, I was informed about a change in the parking lot. Since the communication was in English, it might have been unclear regarding the changed parking lot. The cruise was comfortable. There were no other Japanese people, but everyone was friendly. Unfortunately, the snorkeling was disappointing due to the lack of fish, but there were fun activities like a slide to jump into the sea from the cruiser, which was enjoyable. The BBQ was delicious, and we were able to relax and take our time.

6月の中旬に参加しました。
前日、予約確認と出航場所の駐車場確認に事務所まで行くと、駐車場から事務までの道が修理で海の中。事務所で予約確認の際、駐車場の変更を言われました。英語でのやり取りなので電話で予約確認をしていたら、変更された駐車場がわかりづらかったかもしれません。クルーズは快適です。日本人は誰もいませんでしたが、皆、フレンドリーでした。シュノーケリングは残念ながら魚が少なかったので期待はずれでしたが、クルーザから海に飛び込む滑り台など、遊ぶ配慮
があり、面白かったです。BBQも美味しくゆっくり出来ました。

I signed up at the last minute and was able to participate just before reaching the maximum capacity. It was a wonderful experience to see so many wild dolphins! The guide, Daisuke, playing with the dolphins was impressive and moving! I think his feelings for the dolphins really came through. I was also healed by the sounds of the dolphins and their jumping on the water's surface. ♡ Additionally, the person I was with on the tour praised the manta rays, so I would like to go see them next time!

急遽前日に申し込み、定員ギリギリのところ参加させてもらいました。
野生のイルカちゃんにたくさん会え素晴らしい体験でした！ガイドのダイスケさんがイルカと遊ぶ姿が印象的で感動しました！イルカへの思いが伝わっているのだと思います。イルカの声や水面をジャンプする姿にも癒されました♡
また、ツアーでご一緒した方がマンタも素晴らしいと絶賛していたので次はマンタにも会いに行きたいと思います！

I participated in this activity because I wanted to safely enjoy the unique marine activities that Hawaii Island has to offer. Although you need to get to the location, we arrived in about 40 minutes from Mauna Lani by rental car. It's easy to find, using the blue roof of the marina as a landmark. The reception is in English, but there were no issues, and we could relax while waiting for departure, greeted by the welcoming dog.

We were first given a sheet with important points and sightseeing tips in Japanese, which helped us understand the tour's content. Everyone else was from English-speaking countries, but we were able to bond with a few simple greetings. We sped across the ocean for about an hour to the snorkeling point. They say we were going about 40 kilometers per hour, but it felt like we were cruising at around 80 kilometers per hour, which was quite thrilling.

At the snorkeling point, the captain provided a detailed explanation on how to wear the mask and use the snorkel. My wife was a bit anxious about snorkeling in deep water, but wearing a life jacket and borrowing a floating board helped her feel safe and enjoy the experience. The snorkeling spot was filled with beautiful coral and tropical fish, and we never got tired of the view.

Onboard, we enjoyed light snacks, including fruits and sandwiches that the captain kindly prepared. On the way back, we enjoyed another refreshing cruise while exploring caves! After snorkeling, it's easy to get cold, so it's better to bring a large bath towel, and since the sun is intense, sunscreen is definitely necessary. I think it's a good idea to bring a camera as it won't get wet.

ハワイ島で安全に楽しめ、かつハワイ島ならではの海のアクティビティが経験したくてこちらのアクティビティに参加しました。こちらは現地まで行く必要がありますが私達はレンタカーでマウナラニから約40分で到着しました。マリーナの青い屋根を目印に簡単に到着する事が出来ます。受け付けは英語ですが特に問題はなく看板犬のお出迎えで癒されながら出発を待つ事が出来ます。最初に日本語の注意点と観光のポイントが書かれたシートを渡されツアーの内容を知る事ができます。私達以外は皆英語圏の人でしたが最初のカタコトの挨拶で打ち解ける事が出来ました。シュノーケリングポイントまで1時間くらい海原を大疾走します。時速40キロくらいらしいのですが体感的には80キロくらいは出ているような迫力のあるクルージングが楽しめます。シュノーケリングポイントではキャプテンからマスクの被り方やシュノーケルの使い方など丁寧にレクチャーがあります。深い海でのシュノーケルを妻が不安に思っていましたがライフジャケットを身に付けさらにフローティングボードも借りる事で安心して楽しめたようです。シュノーケリングポイントは珊瑚と熱帯魚が素晴らしく見飽きる事はありません。船上での軽食も和気あいあいとキャプテンが切ってくれるフルーツやサンドイッチを楽しむ事ができます。帰りは洞窟巡りをしながらまた爽快なクルージングを楽しむ事ができました！シュノーケリングの後は体が冷えやすいので大き目のバスタオルを用意して行った方が良いのと日差しが強烈なので日焼け止めは必ず必要です。カメラは濡れないので持って行った方が良いと思います。
