We were blessed with good weather, and we were able to see both the sunset and the starry sky beautifully. The service of being able to take photos and download them for free is truly appreciated.

I heard that only Masashi Nature School offers rental of winter clothing, including ski pants. After borrowing a hat and gloves, I wasn't cold at all.

During our lunch break, we were provided with warm drinks like miso soup, cocoa, and tea for stargazing. They also prepared a step for getting in and out of the car, showing great attention to detail.

When I take my elderly parents, I plan to ask Masashi Nature School for assistance again. Thank you very much.

天候に恵まれ、サンセットも、星空も、綺麗に見ることができました。
写真を撮って頂けて、無料でダウンロードさせて頂けるサービスは、本当にありがたいです。
防寒着は、スキーパンツまで貸して頂けるのはこちらのマサシネイチャースクールさんだけとのこと。帽子も手袋もお借りしたら、全く寒くなかったです。
お弁当タイムのお味噌汁、ココア、星空観賞では紅茶など、温かい飲み物も用意して頂けました。
車の乗降時にはステップも用意して頂くなど、いろいろと細かくお気遣い頂きました。
高齢の両親を連れていく際には、また、マサシネイチャースクールさんにお願いしようと思っています。よろしくお願いいたします。

I participated alone and felt a bit anxious, but with Daisuke's guidance, I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the ocean after a long time. A pod of dolphins came to us, and it was an experience like no other; I was incredibly moved.

1人参加で、不安もありましたが、ダイスケさんのガイドで、とても楽しく、久しぶりの海を満喫しました。イルカの群れも、たくさん来てくれて、今まで味わった事がないほどの感動でした。

It was cloudy in the morning, but around the time I was supposed to meet Kevin, the sky cleared up. I went kayaking while learning various things from Kevin and Noni. This time, it was just my family, and we took it easy.

We also enjoyed snorkeling. It was really fun, the fish were beautiful, and it was a great tour. The pineapple after getting back on land was delicious too. I would like to join Kevin and Noni's tour again next year. Thank you for a wonderful day!

朝から、曇り空でしたが。ケビンさんとの待ち合わせ時間ぐらいから、青空に。
ケビンさんとノニさんに色々教えてもらいながら、カヤックをしました。
今回、うちの家族だけでのんびりと。

シュノーケリングも堪能しました。
本当に楽しくて、魚もきれいで、よいツアーでした。
陸に上がってからのバイナップルも美味しかったです。来年も、またケビンさんとノニさんのツアーに参加したいです。

Since I stayed at the King Kamehameha Hotel, I had no travel time at all. I wasn't sure where the reception was and got a little lost, but I saw a line forming, so I joined it. While waiting, I was asked if I wanted to buy a lei and had the chance to take some photos.

After checking in, I went to the venue next to the beach and made my way to my seat with a drink in hand. The Mai Tai was really delicious. I ordered various drinks and enjoyed them. The staff guided us to our seats as we arrived. Once seated, I chatted with the people next to me and across from me while waiting for the show to start. I was a bit anxious since I don't speak much English, but everyone was kind and spoke to me.

The show was entirely in English, but it was enjoyable to watch, so I found it interesting. It was an impressive performance.

However... since it was outdoors, there was a downpour, and I received a raincoat from the staff to watch the show. The show proceeded as scheduled despite the rain. Even in the downpour, I laughed with those around me, saying, "Wow, the rain is intense!" This became a good memory.

The food was delicious, especially the meat, taro, and poke. I think it's better to take a lot at once so you can enjoy the show at a leisurely pace. There are many types of drinks, so I believe you'll find a favorite.

I think this Hawaiian show offers an experience of "Hawaii" that you can't find on Oahu.

I would love to participate again if I stay at the King Kamehameha Hotel.

キングカメハメハホテルに泊まって参加だったため、移動時間がまったくありません。
受付の場所がわからず、少し迷ってしまいましたが行列ができていたので並びました。並んでいる間はレイを購入するか聞かれたり、写真をとったりしながら並びます。
受付後、ビーチ横にある会場に行き、ドリンクを片手に席まで行きます。マイタイがとってもおいしかったです。いろいろなドリンクを注文してたくさん飲みました。席は来た人から係の人が案内してくれます。席に着くと隣の人や向かいに座っている外国の方と話しながらショーを始まるのを待ちます。英語があまり話せないので不安でしたが、皆さん優しく話してくれました。
ショーはすべて英語ですが、見て楽しめるので面白かったです。
迫力のあるショーです。

しかし。。。
野外の為、スコールになってしまい、係の人にカッパをもらってショーを見ました。
ショーは雨天決行の為、普通にショーは進みます。
スコールでも周りの人と「雨すごいね」と笑いながら見ました。
これも良い思い出です。

食事もおいしく、お肉、タロイモ、ポケがとてもおいしかったです。
一回でたくさん取ったほうがゆっくりショーが見れますので良いと思います。
飲み物もたくさん種類がありますので好みのお酒が見つかると思います。


オワフ島では味わえない『ハワイ』が体験できるハワイアンショーだと思います。

またキングカメハメハホテルに泊まったら参加したいです。

We participated as a couple.

It was our first sea kayaking experience, and I didn't expect it to be this much fun!!!

The weather was great, the sea was blue and calm, the water was clear, and the scenery was amazing!
I quickly got used to using the paddle and steering, but since the kayak sways quite a bit, I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to take some anti-nausea medication beforehand.

During snorkeling, we were able to see many beautiful fish and corals. My wife, who was experiencing this for the first time, seemed to enjoy herself safely while wearing a life jacket.

Our guides, Kevin and Noni, were very attentive and made the experience enjoyable! The ripe pineapple we had at the end was incredibly sweet and delicious.

I definitely want to participate again!!!

夫婦で参加しました。

初めてのシーカヤック体験でしたが、こんなに楽しいものだとは思いませんでした!!!

天気も良かったので、海は青くて穏やかで、水は透明、景色も最高！
パドルの使い方や操船にもすぐに慣れましたが、カヤックはかなり揺れるので
乗り物酔い・船酔いしやすい方は、酔い止めを飲んでおくのが良いかと思います。

シュノーケリングでは、たくさんの美しい魚やサンゴを眺めることができました。
初体験だった妻もライフジャケット着用で、安心して遊べたようです。

ガイドのケビンさんとノニさんもすごく丁寧で楽しくガイドしてくれました！
最後にいただいた完熟パイナップルは、抜群に甘くて美味しかったです。

ぜひまた参加したいです!!!

First of all, the guide was wonderful. Matsuchan, our guide, was truly entertaining, and while traveling, I was able to absorb knowledge through his explanations mixed with humor, which made me very satisfied.

Additionally, he skillfully took photos with our own cameras as we requested, but for those stunning starry sky shots that we couldn't capture due to the limitations of our cameras, there is a service where Matsuchan's company takes photos from start to finish with their camera. This means we could enjoy the tour without worrying about not being able to take good pictures with our own cameras. Also, the fact that we can download the professionally taken photos for free from their website is something that sets them apart from other companies. My husband and I are already excited to use these photos for our New Year's cards this year. I believe newlywed couples who take this tour will definitely get plenty of professional-quality photos that will become lifelong memories! Lastly, Matsuchan, it was really fun. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

まず、ガイドさんが素晴らしかったです。
ガイドの松ちゃんは本当に面白く、移動中の観光の説明も、お笑いを聞きながら知識を増やしていけるような感じで聞けて、本当に大満足でした。
また、写真も、自分たちのカメラで注文通りに上手に撮ってくれるのですが、どうしても自分たちのカメラの性能の関係で撮れない満点の星空写真も、松ちゃんの会社のカメラで最初から最後まで写真を取ってくれるサービスがあるので、自分たちのカメラでうまく取れない写真があっても心配することなくツアーを満喫できます。そして、そのガイドさんのプロ並みの腕前で撮影された写真も無料でＨＰからダウンロードできるっていうところが他社との比較で優れているところなのかなと思います。私たち夫婦は今年の年賀状に使おうと今からウキウキしています。新婚さんカップルもこのツアーを使えば一生の思い出になるプロ並みの腕前の写真を沢山ＧＥＴできること間違いなしだと思います！最後にまっちゃん、本当に楽しかったです。

I was excited for my first dinner show, and I’ve lost track of how many days I’ve been in Hawaii. Being here makes me forget the days of the week and the date. I’m looking forward to the dinner show, which I’m seeing for the first time. The hula dancing was impressive; I can’t believe how much they can move their hips! Everyone was beautiful and wonderful, and the male dancer who used fire was great. Seeing the fire drop live was a fresh experience.

However, the disappointing part was that I couldn’t understand English, so I didn’t know what the host was saying. The meal was rushed, and the drinks ended quickly, leaving me unsatisfied. It’s a shame! I had higher expectations, and I wish they could improve that aspect of the dinner show. After the show, I took photos with the dancers, which was a nice memory.

I’m thinking of traveling again to see another dinner show. I have many memories from my time in Hawaii, and one of them is the dinner show. Next time, I want to study a bit more English so that I can understand the host’s talk better!

初めてのディナーショーワクワク、ハワイも何日目かなぁ〜、ここに居ると曜日も日にちも忘れてしまう。ディナーショー楽しみ、初めて見る。フラダンス、よくあれだけ腰が動くなと感心‼︎みんな綺麗で素敵でした、炎を使った男性良かった、炎を落としたところも、生で見たからわかるこのであって、新鮮でした。でも残念なことは…英語がわからなくて、司会の方がなにを言ってるか分からなかった。そして、食事、慌ただしく食べた、飲み物も、早く終わり、物足りなかった。残念‼︎もっと期待して居ただけに、ディナーショーってこんなもの、その辺を何とかしてもらいたい 。ディナーショーが終わって、ダンサーの方と写真を知りました。これも、思い出 （＾∇＾）また旅行してディナーショー見に行こうと思います。ハワイでの思い出いろいろあります。その中のひとつがディナーショー、今度は英語がもぅ少し分かるくらい勉強して、司会の方のトークが理解できるくらいになりたい〜(*^_^*)

I was worried right after the big canoe race, but I guess I was lucky. I was able to see them multiple times. At first, they were swimming in the deep water, but after diving a few times, they gradually came closer. I was very satisfied.

大カヌーレースの直後で心配でしたが、ラッキーだったのでしょう。何度も見ることができました。最初は、深いところを泳いでイルカでしたが、何度か潜っているうちにだんだん近くに。大満足でした。

We started with a pick-up and then boarded the sightseeing bus.
We climbed the mountain, visited the Subaru Telescope, enjoyed the sunset, and were continuously moved by the starry sky.
It was truly wonderful!

お迎えから、観光バスののりでスタート。
山を登り、すばる望遠鏡、夕景、満天の星と感動の連続でした。
とてもとても良かったです！

The sunset sinking into the sea of clouds was incredibly beautiful and moving. The starry sky was also a first-time experience for me.

The road to the Mauna Kea Visitor Center is paved, but beyond that, some parts are unpaved, so I recommend taking a tour if you want to reach the summit. The lunches from other tours looked luxurious and delicious.

雲海に沈む夕陽は、とても美しく感動的でした。満天の星も、初めての体験でした。
オニヅカビジターセンターまでは舗装がされてますが、そこから先は、一部未舗装なので、山頂まで行くならツアーがお勧めです。
他のツアーの方がお弁当が豪華で美味しそうに見えました。

The captain chose a spot with high visibility and let us swim with the dolphins. When the dolphins swam close, the guide raised his arm to signal us. They took plenty of time and made an effort to find the dolphins, so I'm glad I chose this tour. After reading this experience, I mistakenly thought Daisuke would be the guide, so it was a bit disappointing that he was on a different boat.

キャプテンが透明度が高そうな所を選んで、イルカと泳がせてくれました。イルカが泳いでくると、ガイドさんが腕をあげて、合図してくれます。
たっぷり時間をかけて、ねばってイルカを探してくれるので、こちらのツアーにしてよかったです。
こちらの体験談をみて、ダイスケさんがガイドだと思いこんでいたので、ダイスケさんが別のボートに乗られたのだけが残念でした。

On September 9th, we participated as a couple. We were lucky to encounter dolphins swimming in the shallow waters quite quickly, allowing us to get close multiple times without using much energy! We then moved to another location and encountered dolphins while they were on the move. We were told that we might not see them as often since they were moving, but it seemed they weren't moving as fast as we thought. We were able to keep up with them, and before we knew it, there were dolphins in front, below, and beside us! It was an emotional experience! I envied Daisuke for being able to dive and get even closer to play with them. This was our third dolphin tour, including other tour companies, and this one had the most content. Thank you very much. But I wonder if there are times when you really can't see them much. It was almost hard to believe.

９／９、夫婦で参加しました。
割とすぐ、浅瀬でぐるぐると泳ぐイルカたちと遭遇できたため、体力をあまり使わずなんども大接近！ラッキーでした！
場所を移し、今度は移動中のイルカと遭遇。移動中なのでさっきみたいに何度も見ることはできないかもと言われて海へ。でも、思ったほど早くは移動してなかったみたいで、一緒についていっても引き離されることなく、気づいたら前にも下にも隣にもイルカたちが！感動しました！
DAISUKEさんみたいに潜れたら、もっともっと近づいて一緒に遊んだりできるのかなあとうらやましく思いました。
他のツアー会社含め3回目のイルカツアー。今回が一番内容が濃かったです。
ありがとうございました。
でも、ほんとにあまり会えないこととかってあるんですかね。ちょっと信じられないくらいでした。

The scenery on the way to the summit was also wonderful, but the view from the top and the starry sky were truly moving! It became a great memory that I will never forget. The Milky Way was so clear! I could even see satellites moving.

At first, we considered going by rental car, but it was definitely the right choice to join the tour. The road from a certain point to the summit was quite bumpy, so it would have been scary if we had a breakdown with a rental car... With the tour, they drive you to the summit, allowing you to enjoy the scenery around you, and on the way back, you can sleep in the car (laughs). I think it’s great in many ways.

The tour guide was also a really funny person! They took photos of us with the starry sky as the backdrop, and we could get them for free later. It’s hard to take such photos ourselves, so it was a nice surprise.

I wanted to photograph the starry sky with a DSLR, so I brought a small and lightweight tripod. I was unsure if it would be a hassle, but bringing the tripod was definitely the right decision!

By chance, we went on a new moon day, and I heard that more stars are visible during a new moon. If you can plan your schedule, I recommend going on a new moon day.

Also, it gets quite cold at the summit, so it's best to bring warm clothing. Gloves and a neck warmer will be very useful!

I would love to join again when I visit the Big Island! Thank you very much.

山頂にあがるまでの景色も素晴らしかったですが、山頂の景色＆星空に超感動！
一生忘れられない良い思い出になりました＾＾
天の川もこんなにくっきりと！人工衛星が動いているのも見れました。

初めは自分たちでレンタカーで行こうかとも考えましたが、ツアーに参加して正解。
途中から山頂まで道がかなりガタガタだったのでレンタカーだと故障したときに怖いですよね。。。
ツアーだと山頂まで運転もしてくれるので周りの景色をみる余裕もあるし、
帰り道は車内で寝れるし（笑）いろんな面で良いと思います。

ツアーのガイドさんもかなり面白い人でした！
星空バックに写真も撮ってくれてあとで無料で貰うことができます。
なかなか自分たちでは撮ることが出来ないので嬉しいですよね。

私は星空を一眼レフで撮影したかったので小さくて軽い三脚を持っていきました。
荷物になるしどうしようかと迷いましたが、三脚持っていって大正解でした♪

たまたま私たちがいったのは新月の日だったのですが
新月だと星がよりたくさん見えるそうです。もし日程狙えるなら新月の日がおすすめ。

あと山頂はかなり寒いので、防寒具しっかり持っていったほうがいいです。
手袋、ネックウォーマー等は持っていくと重宝すると思います＾＾

ハワイ島へいった時にはまた参加したいと思います！！有り難うございました。

I participated with my family in mid-August.

Since the explanations are in English, it might be confusing for those who don't understand, but I think you can still enjoy it if you understand even a little.

Driving through private land that you usually can't access in a 6WD is interesting, but the bumpy ride made me hit my head on the ceiling.

After sweating from trekking in the grasslands overlooking Maui, swimming in the waterfall pool with other participants at the end was refreshing and fantastic.

The lunch sandwiches were quite good as well.

If I have the opportunity, I would like to study English and participate in this tour again.

英語の解説なので分からない人にはチンプンカンプンですが
それでも一部でも分かるなら楽しめると思います。

普段は入れない私有地？を6WDで走るのは面白いけど
激しい揺れで頭を天井にうちます^^

マウイ島を望む草原のトレッキングで汗をかいたら
滝めぐりの最後で参加者との滝壺スイミングは
気持よくて最高でした。

ランチのサンドイッチもなかなかのもの。

機会があれば英語を勉強してまた参加したいツアーでした。

I had participated in a tour on Oahu before, and surprisingly, I had a lot of fun, so I assumed that on the nature-rich Big Island, I would see plenty of fish. However, it was disappointing. But I think first-timers will enjoy it. The submarine is about a 5-minute ride from the pier, which is more convenient than Oahu.

以前オアフ島で参加したことが有りその時は意外にも楽しかったので、自然豊かなハワイ島ならさぞかし沢山の魚が見られるものと思い込んでいたら、期待外れ。
でも、初めての方は楽しめると思います。
桟橋から潜水艦までは5分位と、この点はオアフ島よりも便利です。

I was looking for some marine sports to do on the Big Island of Hawaii and found this tour. It was attractive because it included breakfast and lunch, the boat had a slide, and they provided equipment rentals, so I decided to sign up. However, I was quite anxious about the lack of transportation, as we had to get there on our own. After reading reviews here, I thought we could take a taxi, which encouraged me to go ahead with the booking.

On the day of the tour, I got into the taxi that I had arranged with the hotel staff the day before, and we set off! But right from the start, there was an unexpected incident... The taxi driver seemed to have misunderstood and took us to the bay next to our intended destination. We realized this after arriving, and it was a close call whether we would make it on time. While hurrying back, the driver called Fi'awind and convinced the receptionist to wait for us, assuring her that he would get us there. We arrived just in time for departure and managed to board the boat. I was moved by the humanity of the taxi driver and the receptionist amidst the chaos. You wouldn't receive such heartfelt assistance in Japan, and it was a moment that made me feel I had a wonderful travel experience (^ - ^).

The boat set sail for the intended bay. Most of the passengers were foreigners, and everyone spent the hour chatting and snacking while lounging comfortably. However, the boat rocked quite a bit, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're prone to seasickness!

Once we arrived, we received a brief explanation about the bay, a story about Captain Cook's monument, and some safety instructions before starting snorkeling! It was my first time snorkeling, and I was amazed by the depth of the ocean as I put on the fins and goggles and headed into the water! I was struck by the blue color and clarity of the sea. Since it was a protected area, the water was a transparent blue that I had never seen before. There were plenty of fish, and the time flew by.

For lunch, we each went back to the boat to eat hamburgers and hot dogs. Since the time was limited, be careful while snorkeling, or you might miss your chance to eat.

Then we went back into the water! In the second half, quite a few people used the diving board and slide. However, the water was too deep, and we were told not to wear goggles or floatation devices, so I couldn't jump in ^_^; I enjoyed taking photos and watching the fish, and the second half came to an end.

In the first half, it was sunny, so I didn't feel too cold, but in the second half, the sun was hidden by clouds, and the water got cold, making me feel quite chilly. The Big Island feels a bit cooler compared to Oahu, so I think it's a good idea for those sensitive to cold to bring long sleeves.

The return trip was quick. After the tour, I got into the taxi I had arranged with the same driver on the way there and returned to the hotel.

I want to participate in this tour again, as it created the best memories on the Big Island!

ハワイ島で何かマリンスポーツをしたいなと思い探していた所、こちらのツアーを見つけました。
朝ご飯も昼ご飯も出るし、ボートに滑り台が付いてるし、道具も貸し出ししてくれるしで魅力的なポイントがたくさんあったので申し込みを決めました。
ただ送迎がなく、現地まで自分たちで行かなくてはいけないという点がとても不安でしたが、ここでの口コミを見ていて、タクシーを使って行けるだろうと思い、申込みに踏み切りました。

当日。
前日にホテルのお姉さんに頼んでおいてあったタクシーに乗り込み、いざ出発！
しかし出端からまさかのハプニング…
タクシーのおじさんが勘違いしていたようで、目的の湾の隣の湾に行ってしまい、着いてから気づいたので時間は間に合うか間に合わないかのギリギリ。急いで戻りながら、おじさんがフィアウィンド社に電話してくれて、絶対送り届けるから待っててくれ！と受付のお姉さんに説得してくれました。
そして出発時間ギリギリに到着し、なんとか乗船出来ました。
ドタバタした中、タクシーのおじさんや受付のお姉さんのヒューマニティに感動しました。日本ではこんな親身な対応は絶対受けれないし、旅行で素晴らしい体験をしたと感じる瞬間でした(^-^)

そして船は出航し、目的の湾へ。
客はほぼ外人で占めており、皆ゆったりと寝っ転がったりお話ししながらお菓子を食べたりと湾までの1時間を過ごしました。ただ船がすごく揺れるので、乗り物酔いがひどい人は薬を飲むことをおすすめします！

着いてからは少し湾の説明やクック船長の記念碑の話、注意事項などの説明を受け、シュノーケル開始！
初シュノーケルだったので、海の深さにびっくりしながらも借りたフィンとゴーグルをつけいざ海へ！
まず海の青さと透明度に驚きました。保護地区ということもあり、今まで見たことのない透き通ったブルーをしていました。魚もたくさんおり、時間はあっという間でした。

お昼は各自で船に上がってハンバーガーやホットドッグを食べました。時間が短く設定されているので、気をつけながらシュノーケルをしないと食べ損なってしまうので注意して下さい。

そして再び海へ！後半は結構飛び込み台や滑り台を使う人がいました。ただ、海があまりにも深く、ゴーグルも浮き具もつけちゃダメとの事だったので、私は飛べませんでした^_^;
ゆーったりと写真を取りつつ魚を見て、後半も終了。

前半は日が出ていたのであまり寒さを感じませんでしたが、後半は日が雲に隠れてしまい、水が冷えてすごく体が冷えてしまいました。
ハワイ島はオアフ島に比べて少し涼しい感じがするので、寒さに弱い人は長袖とか持っておいた方がいいと思います。

帰りはあっという間でした。解散後は行きのタクシーのおじさんに頼んでおいた帰りのタクシーに乗り込みホテルまで帰りました。

ハワイ島で一番の思い出を作ることが出来たこのツアーに、また参加したいと思います！！

I participated in a stargazing tour guided by You-kun. I was so happy to see the wonderful sunset and even the shadow of the Earth.

During the stargazing, the guide, who was knowledgeable about constellations, explained various constellations, and You-kun, who was familiar with cameras, taught us how to use each camera. He also took many photos with my own camera. Thank you!

I was able to capture the Milky Way with my own camera. I was so moved!!

Despite the cold, the thoughtful preparation of warm drinks was excellent. (About the bento...)(laughs)

You-kun was high-energy throughout, but sometimes he spoke a bit too quickly for me to catch everything, which was charming in its own way.

Thank you very much. I definitely want to participate in another Masashi Tour next time.

ヨウ君のガイドで星空ツアーに参加しました。
それこそ、途中のお弁当は。。。。。と、して、サンセットの素晴らしさと地球の影まで見ることができて幸せでした。

星空観測では星座に詳しいガイドさんがいろいろと星座を説明してくれたり、ヨウ君はカメラに詳しく、それぞれのカメラの使い方まで全部教えてくれました。
自前のカメラでもたくさん写真を撮ってくれました。ありがと～。

自分のカメラでもなんとかミルキーウェイを撮影することができました。感激！！

寒い中、温かい飲み物など用意して気配りも最高でした。（お弁当は。。。）（笑＾＾）

始終ハイテンションのヨウ君でしたが、ちょっと早すぎて聞き取れないこともあったけど、それもご愛嬌ですね。

We visited the Big Island for our honeymoon, which was two years in the making.

Basically, we relaxed at the hotel and drove around the island, but we did sign up for this one optional tour.

The sunset and starry sky were incredibly beautiful! We brought our own camera, but the tour company provided a high-spec camera and took many photos for us, which we could download for free—such a nice touch. I definitely think it's worth signing up for this tour if you have the time. It became the best memory of our honeymoon.

By the way, on the day of the tour (late August), it was said to be warmer than usual, but it was still surprisingly cold near the summit compared to what we expected from the hotel! However, the tour company provided miso soup and hot drinks, and they lent us jackets, so we didn't have to worry too much!

２年越しの新婚旅行でハワイ島を訪れました。
基本的にはホテルでのんびりしたり、ドライブで島を巡ったりとしていたのですが、
唯一、こちらのオプショナルツアーだけは申し込みました。

！！！サンセットも、星空も大満足の美しさです！！！
自分たちでカメラも持っていきましたが、ツアー会社の方がハイスペックなカメラでたくさん撮ってくれる上に、無料でダウンロードできるのでそれもまあ素敵です。
ぜひ時間に余裕があれば、このツアーだけでも申し込む価値があると思います。
新婚旅行の最高の思い出になりました。

ちなみに、当日（８月下旬）は、いつもより温かいということでしたが、それでも山頂付近はホテル付近からは予想できないほど寒かったです！それでも、ツアー会社の方が味噌汁や温かい飲み物を提供してくれたり、上着を貸してくれるのでそれほど心配もいりません！

This trip was a total disappointment. Didn't see the inside of any caves. I don't mind exercising but the work this trip took was brutal. There were seven in our group and we all felt the same way about trip! Don't book this activity!

It was a packed show, starting with hula, where we learned baton twirling on stage, got tattoos marked for us, and were taught how to make fish out of leaves. The appearance of King Kamehameha from the ship was impressive, and the food was delicious. It was a wonderful show that made great use of the beautiful location.

盛りだくさんのショーで、フラからはじまりバトンを舞台の上で教えてもらったり、タトゥーをマークしてくれたりや葉っぱでお魚をつくるやり方を教えてくれたり。船からカメハメハ大王が登場する演出はさすがで食事もおいしかったです。ロケーションの良さを生かした素晴らしいショーでした。

At the Onizuka Center, it was drizzling, but from around the 3000m mark, the weather cleared up beautifully. While looking down at the sea of clouds, we waited for the sunset. The orange sun painted the surroundings, and we could see pink clouds after sunset, which already made for an unprecedented experience that excited us. After that, we descended a bit for stargazing. We saw shooting stars and satellites, making it the best night ever. If you visit the Big Island, I highly recommend participating in this experience. The guides were wonderful, managing our health and explaining the night sky. If you decide to join, I suggest preparing for winter weather. Depending on the weather, it was quite cold at the summit. If I have the chance to visit the Big Island again, I would definitely want to do this once more.

鬼塚センターでは小雨でしたが3000ｍを超えたあたりから快晴。雲海を下にみながら、日没をまちます。オレンジ色の太陽があたりを染め、日没後のピンク色の雲も見られこの段階ですでに今までにない体験に興奮。その後少し下山して星空観測。流れ星も人口衛星も見られ、最高の夜でした。ぜひハワイ島にお越しなら、参加をお薦めします。案内の人も、体調管理から星空の説明等、素晴らしかったです。もし参加するのでしたら、冬支度をお薦めします。天気にもよると思いますが、山頂は寒かったです。
またハワイ島を訪れることがあったら、ぜひもう一度みたいと思います

Last year and this year, I visited the Big Island of Hawaii for two consecutive years. Last year, I went to Volcano National Park, but this year I challenged myself with sea kayaking and snorkeling in Keauhou. It was just the two of us and our three elementary school children, and we were able to have a private party, which allowed us to fully enjoy at our own pace. The morning sky and sea were richer and more vivid than those in Japan, and the sea breeze felt amazing while kayaking. The sea caves themselves are a natural wonder, and while they are impressive, my actual impression was just okay. Additionally, getting there was a bit hard for our young children, but the sea kayaking itself was a lot of fun. We didn't see any honu (sea turtles) or dolphins while snorkeling, but the water was very clear and beautiful. Although I'm not a poor swimmer, I had three children with me (I was responsible for two), and since it was their first time snorkeling in the deep open sea, I decided to wear a life jacket just in case. However, the current was quite strong, making it difficult to swim, which ended up exhausting my already limited stamina. So, for those who can swim a bit, a life jacket might not be necessary. But the staff, Noni and Kevin, were very kind and friendly, which made the experience really great. Thank you, Noni and Kevin!

昨年、今年と2年連続でハワイ島に行きましたが、昨年はvolcano国立公園に行ったのですが、今年はケアウホウでシーカヤックとシュノーケリングにチャレンジしました。夫婦2人に小学生3人の私たちでしたが、私たちだけのpartyにしていただき、本当に自分たちのペースでフルにエンジョイできました。朝早くの空と海は日本のそれよりもそれぞれに濃く鮮烈で、カヤックの上で体感する海風は最高でした。海中洞窟自身は自然の産物でそれはそれなりにすごいものの、実際の感想はまあまあです。さらに、結構そこまで行くのが小学校低学年の子供連れにはいささかハード（父親50がきつかっただけか？）ではありましたが、シーカヤックそのものがすごく楽しかったです。シュノーケリンではホヌ（ウミガメ）やイルカには会えませんでしたが、透明度は高く、非常に美しいものでした。私自身は泳ぎは不得手ではないものの、子供が3人おり（私の担当は2人でしたが）、3人が完全な深い外海でのシュノーケリングは初めてだったので、もしものことを考えてライフジャケットを着用したのですが、結構海流が速いので抵抗が強く、かえって泳ぎにくく、その結果、結構もともと少ない体力を消耗させる結果となったので、すこしでも泳げる人はラフジャケットは不要かもしれません。でもスタッフのノニさんとケビンさんは非常に親切でやさしくfriendryであったので、とってもよかったです。ノニさん、ケビンさんありがとうございました。

It was unexpected from the start. We were told to sit at the edge of the rafting boat, and they said the front was like a roller coaster! So, with our older child, we all moved to the back. When the boat started, I clung on tightly at first, thinking I might be thrown off, but as I got used to it, the wind felt absolutely amazing.

When we arrived at the spot, our tour companions started jumping in one after another, and we followed suit. It was simply beautiful! I lost track of time chasing fish with my 8-year-old son. We were surprised and satisfied to find small blue fish, round black fish, and even an eel! When we popped our heads out of the water, my older son was so excited that he got a nosebleed just before heading back to the boat. The boat captain kindly told him he would give him a cookie, so he could go back and enjoy the sea!

After taking a break with sandwiches and juice for lunch, we headed back into the water. Since the group that had arrived earlier had mostly left, we were able to swim leisurely. While our group was getting ready to leave and resting on the boat, a pod of dolphins came right next to us, which was a delightful surprise. On the way back, I was comfortably holding on with one hand, while my older son was sound asleep amidst the sounds, swaying, and wind. We only got to look at the lava caves, but overall, it was a tour with 120% satisfaction!

出発から予想外で。ラフティングボートは、ここへ座ってと言われたところはボートの縁、前はジェットコースター並だよ！と言われ、年長児連れの我が家はみんなで後方へ。ボートがスタートすると始めは振り落とされるかと思う勢いでしがみついて乗っていたものの、慣れてくると風がものすごく気持ちがイイ。
スポットに到着すると、ツアーの仲間はどんどん飛び込むので、つられるように飛び込むと、とにかく美しい！8歳の息子と魚を追ってると時間を忘れてしまうほど。小さな青い魚から黒い丸っこい魚、ウツボまで見つけてびっくりと満足！海から顔を出してみると、年長児の息子は興奮のあまり⁈鼻血を出しボートに戻るところだった。ボートのキャプテンは鼻血を出した息子にクッキーあげとくから海に戻って楽しんで来て！と対応してくれた。お昼にはサンドイッチとジュースでひと息いれた後また海へ。先に来ていたグループがだいぶ帰って行ったのでゆったりと泳ぐことができた。我がグループも帰る準備でボートに戻って休んでいるとイルカの群れがボートのすぐそばまで来るというれしいハプニング。帰りのボートは私は余裕で片手でつかまり、年長児の息子はあの音と揺れと風の中、熟睡していた。溶岩の洞窟は眺めるだけだったけど、とにかく満足度120パーセントのツアーでした！

On our last night in Hawaii, we decided to go to a luau. It was our first time, and I'm glad we went. We walked from a nearby hotel, and it's conveniently located in the town. We arrived early, and even 30 minutes before check-in, there was quite a line (the line is divided into one for extra fee and one for regular; if you arrive early for the regular line, you can get seats that are almost the same as the extra fee ones). There were hardly any Japanese people, possibly because the entire event was in English, and it seemed like most attendees were from the mainland and India. Although my child doesn't understand English, they enjoyed various experiences, starting with the shell lei received upon entry, the vibrant show, delicious food, and activities like making fish from coconut leaves and getting temporary tattoo-like stamps on their body. The show featured not only Hawaiian hula but also dances from various Polynesian islands, which felt quite impressive, and we enjoyed it nonetheless.

ハワイ島最後の夜はルアウに行こうと決めていました。初めてでしたが、行って良かったです。近くの別のホテルから徒歩で行きましたが、町中の便利な場所です。早めに行って、受付スタートの30分前でもかなりの行列でした（extra feeを払う列とregularの列に分かれて並びます。regularでも早めに行けば、extraとほとんど変わらない席に座れます）。全編英語のためか日本の方はほとんどいなくて、mainlandとIndiaからの方々が多かったようです。子どもは英語はわかりませんが、入るときにいただく貝殻のLeiに始まり、華やかなshowや美味しいお料理、そして、Hulaやcoconut leafでお魚を作る体験、体にtatoo風のスタンプを押してもらう体験などいろいろ楽しんでいました。ShowはHawaiian Hulaだけでなく、ポリネシアのいろんな島々の踊りがあって、かなりshow up された感じは受けましたが、それはそれで楽しめました。

This is our fourth time on the Big Island! We've participated in various tours each time, but the 'Captain Zodiac' was the best! The rafting and snorkeling tour on the rubber boat was amazing. The captain was a handsome guy like Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean. The female staff were beautiful, and the other participants included cheerful young American men and older ladies. We were the only Japanese family, but even with our limited English, we felt like we were abroad, and it was no problem! Before departure, we received a Japanese instruction manual, and communication through gestures worked well.

In the past, when we went to snorkeling points by boat, I would get seasick, and when kayaking, I would get tired from paddling to the point. But this time was the best! The rafting on the rubber boat was exhilarating, bouncing over the waves. At first, I clung to the rope, but as I got used to it, I was screaming with excitement like on a roller coaster, enjoying the wind and the scenery.

We admired the streets of Kailua-Kona, the mountains of Kona's coffee farms, and the unique rock formations and caves created by lava, all while cheering at the thrilling, acrobatic steering that felt like we might flip over. Right after leaving the harbor, we encountered a pod of dolphins multiple times, jumping and swimming alongside the boat, so close that we could almost touch them.

At the snorkeling point, we fully enjoyed the underwater world. My high school daughter and college son swam freely to where they could touch fish and sea urchins while free diving. (We were warned by the captain not to touch or take anything, so we just observed, but it was still wonderful.) I had a past experience of getting sunburned on my back while floating face down, so wearing a rash guard was a great idea.

The lunch we had on the boat—chips, cookies, sandwiches, drinks, pineapple, and oranges—was absolutely delicious. The snorkeling tour from 10 AM to 3 PM was a lot of fun because the boat was small and fast, allowing us to reach distant waters in no time. It was an exhilarating experience, and I was 200% satisfied.

Rash guards, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential, but as long as you have those, you're good to go! On the way back, we dried off in our swimsuits, threw on T-shirts, and drove to downtown, enjoying happy hour drinks and seafood at a restaurant along the coast before returning to the hotel.

It was the most enjoyable day on the Big Island. I want to ride the 'Captain Zodiac' again next time!

ハワイ島は.家族で4回目！毎回いろんなツアーに参加してますが‘キャプテン・ゾディアック号’は、最高でした！ゴムボートでのラフティング＆シュノーケルツアー、船長さんは、パイレーツオブカリビアンのジョニーディップの様な男前♥︎女性スタッフも美しく、参加メンバーもスタッフかと思う程陽気なアメリカ人青年や年配のご婦人等、日本人は、私達家族だけですが、あまりわからない英語も、海外に来た感じを味わえて、問題無し！出航前に日本語の説明書がもらえるし、身振り手振りで通じるものです。

今まで、船でシュノーケルポイントまで行った時は、船に酔ったり、カヌーの時は、ポイントまで漕ぐのが疲れたり、いろんな思いをしましたが、今回は、最高でした！
ゴムボートでのラフティングは、海の上を跳ねて、始めは、紐にしがみついてましたが、慣れて来ると、遊園地のジェットコースターの様にキャーキャー言いながら、風を感じ景色を楽しみました。
カイルアコナの街並みを望み、コナのコーヒー農園の山並み、溶岩でできた奇岩、洞窟を見ながら、スリリングなひっくり返りそうなアクロバティックな舵さばきに歓声をあげました。
港を出てすぐ、イルカの群れに何度も出会い、ジャンプしたり、ボートに並走したり、手を伸ばせば触れる所をイルカが泳いでました。
シュノーケルポイントでは、海の世界を満喫しました。高校生の娘と大学生の息子は、素潜りで魚やウニにタッチできそうな所まで自由自在に泳いでました。（触ったり取ったりしてはダメと船長から注意があるので、見るだけですが、満喫しました）
シュノーケルに夢中になりすぎて、うつ伏せで浮いてると背中が日焼けで痛い思いをした過去があるので、ラッシュガードは、偉大です。
船で食べた、ポテチ、クッキー、サンドイッチ、ドリンク、パイナップル、オレンジの海の上でのランチは、最高に美味しかったです。
10時から3時までのシュノーケルツアー、ボートが小さく速いので、遠い海まで行けるし、アッと言う間で大変楽しかったです。ワクワク度200%大満足でした。
ラッシュガード、サングラス、日焼け止めは、必需品ですが、それさへあればOK!
帰りは、水着も乾いてて、Tシャツを羽織り、海から眺めたダウンタウンの街へドライブして、海岸沿いのレストランでハッピーアワーのドリンクとシーフードでお腹を満たして、ホテルへ帰りました。
ハワイ島で1番楽しんだ日でした。
また次回も‘キャプテン・ゾディアック号’に乗りたいです♪

The sea of clouds was truly wonderful. It was a very memorable tour. If I have the opportunity again, I would love to participate next time.

I took a 4-night, 6-day trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, and this time I booked the Mauna Kea summit sunset tour with two different companies. The weather was different, and naturally, the guides were different as well, allowing us to enjoy each of their unique personalities. Both sunset and stargazing experiences were satisfying tours from both companies.

This time, we had two vehicles for the summit and stargazing; one vehicle had a telescope while the other handled meals. At the Onizuka Center, we were even allowed to have seconds on the miso soup, and it was great that they provided over-pants and other rentals, reducing the amount of luggage we had to bring.

Participants from both vehicles gathered at the parking lot near the summit to gaze at the stars, listen to explanations about constellations, and we were shown Saturn's rings through the telescope. Every time we looked, we joked about whether it was a sticker! We also took commemorative photos against the starry backdrop, and while waiting for our turn at the telescope, we enjoyed cookies and warm drinks, making the time fly by without any boredom.

As expected from a renowned guide, it was a fun tour that kept us engaged throughout.

As a side note, bringing a small light with red cellophane can help reduce worries about footing during boarding, parking lot steps, etc. Also, the summit's basic restroom is quite dark after sunset!

4泊6日ハワイ島のみ旅行、マウナケア山頂サンセットツアーを今回は他社さんと2回入れました。天候が違いガイドさんも当然違いそれぞれの個性を楽しませて頂きました。サンセットと満天の星々星空観察の結果は両社満足できる良いツアーでした。今回も2台で山頂と星空観察、一台が望遠鏡もう一台が食事他の担当のようでオニズカセンターではお味噌汁のお代わりもOK、オーバーパンツ他貸し出しで持参する荷物が減るのはありがたかったです。2台参加者一緒に山頂付近の駐車場で星空を眺め星座などの説明を聞き望遠鏡で土星の輪っかを見せて頂き何度見てもシール？かと笑ながら、お話を聞かせて頂きました。そして星空をバックに記念撮影、望遠鏡他順番待ち中にクッキーや温かい飲み物を頂き退屈することなくあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました。さすが名物ガイドさんの案内、飽きること無い楽しいツアーでした。
蛇足ですが赤色セロファン張ったスモールライト等持って行くと乗降や駐車場の段差等足下心配減って良いですよ。と、山頂簡易トイレ日没後は暗いです〜。
