Since it’s nature, there are days when you might not see dolphins, but I was able to see them about three times! They were incredibly fast. Additionally, I also got to see a manta ray. My husband said he even heard the dolphins' voices.

Thank you, Nawata, Naoko, and Rei. Since I can’t swim, I was able to see the dolphins thanks to Naoko pulling me toward them. The breeze on the water felt so good. The time flew by. I also really enjoyed the stories about warriors and scary tales with Rei. By the way, Rei was quite handsome! I want to see whales too, so if I can go back to the Big Island, I would love to join this tour again.

About 30 minutes to an hour by boat, we encountered a pod of 100 to 200 dolphins. They were jumping and spinning all around, and I was already moved before even entering the water. Once in the water, I swam a little, and there were so many dolphins swimming right in front of me; it was incredibly touching. They were so close that I felt I could almost reach out and touch them!

Since I was in a wetsuit, I felt safe entering the water as it helped me float. Some people who were not confident swimmers were worried, but in addition to the wetsuits, they provided floatation devices, and the guide pulled the floatation device for them, which made them very happy to see the dolphins up close.

Our guide, Ray, was very engaging and considerate during the trip, making it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. It would be a real shame not to participate in a dolphin tour while visiting the Big Island!

Staying at Royal Kona was very convenient. I lined up early after reading the reviews and was able to get a spot relatively close to the front. As it started, the sunset was beautiful, and I was captivated by the stunning view. The meal was served in a way where we went to get it in order of seating, so it wasn't too crowded. It was a day with high waves and quite murky water, but the dolphins seemed to be in a good mood, coming close multiple times, allowing us to see them both on the surface and underwater.

Also, the love that our guides, Ray and Daisuke, had for the dolphins was wonderful. They prioritized not making the dolphins uncomfortable, which I believe is a rule we must follow when interacting with wild dolphins.

Since the tour takes place in an area where you can't touch the bottom at all, you'll float in a wetsuit, and Ray and Daisuke provide maximum advice and support. However, to fully enjoy this tour, I think it would be more fun if you try snorkeling in shallow waters or have the guts to dive in without being able to touch the bottom.

There were interesting parts, like digging up the pig, but the prices felt too high. The fire dance at Fukushima's Hawaiians is much better. The food wasn't delicious. Also, it rained during our visit, and we got soaked. The hotel parking is only free for three hours. If it were around 5,000 yen, I could somewhat recommend it.

I wasn't familiar with our guide, but he is also a photographer for dolphins and whales, and the tour itself is a warm experience that values the feelings of the dolphins.

After about 40 minutes out to sea, we encountered a group of dolphins. The guide communicated with the dolphins and led us, allowing us to see them up close. Our guide, Daisuke, had a special connection with the dolphins and truly knew them better than anyone else…! He was so enthusiastic that he even bent the captain's instructions to let us try again, shining with joy more than any other participant that day (laughs). However, that enthusiasm made us participants very happy, and I believe we had a truly valuable experience! There were quite a number of dolphins, and I will never forget the view the moment I put my face in the water! All the other staff members were friendly and wonderful people! I gathered at the port, which is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel in Kona! There were so few Japanese people that I felt a sense of relief in an environment where Japanese could be spoken.

At first, we had a hard time finding the dolphin spot and kept cruising around the Waikoloa area. Just when I started to worry, the boat stopped, and we entered the water!

When we dove in at the call of "Here they come!", a large number of dolphins swam towards us!!!! The dolphins, which I usually only see in the aquarium, swam towards us leisurely and happily.

コナのホテルから車で10分くらいの港に現地集合で行きました！探さないと日本人が見つからない位の少なさの中で、日本語が通じる環境に安心感、、^o^
最初はなかなかイルカのポイントが見つからず、ワイコロア周辺まで船で走り続け、心配になってきたところで船が止まり、海に入ります。！
来ましたよ〜！の声で海に潜ると、大量のイルカたちがこっちに向かってきました！！！！
普段は水族館のプールの中でしか見たことのないイルカたちが、のんびりと、楽しそうにこっちに向かって泳いできました。
くるくると回ったり、飛び跳ねたり、2頭で身体をくっつけて泳いだり、可愛くて可愛くて、とても貴重な体験をしました！！！

I was looking for activities that even a one-year-old child could enjoy, and this was perfect for us! The colorful fish were clearly visible through the beautiful glass bottom of the boat, and luckily, we even encountered a pod of dolphins. The dolphins came right up next to the boat, which was so much fun.

The guide was very knowledgeable about the fish and was a wonderful person with a great sense of service. The explanations were in English, so those who understand English will enjoy it more, but even if you don't understand, the beauty of the sea itself means you won't be disappointed.

The boat ride lasts about an hour. The sea was calm, and the boat didn't rock, but since you tend to look down at the glass bottom, I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to seasickness to take some motion sickness medication. The meeting point was easy to find, and I think you'll spot the boat with the blue and yellow flags right away.

I definitely want to use this service again next time!

カラフルな魚が、キレイなボートのグラス越しによく見えますし、ラッキーなことに、イルカの群にも遭遇できました。イルカたちは、ボートのすぐ側まで来てくれてとても楽しかったです。
ガイドさんは魚の知識が豊富で、サービス精神の溢れた素敵な方でした。説明は英語なので、英語が分かる方が楽しめますが、仮に分からなかったとしても海そのものが美しいので困るということはないと思います。
乗船時間は１時間ほどです。海は穏やかで船は揺れませんでしたが、うつむいて船底のガラスを眺めるので、船に酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲まれた方がいいと思います。集合場所もわかりやすく、青と黄色の旗をつけたボートをすぐに見つけられると思います。
また次回も利用したいと思います！
