My wife and I participated together. Since my wife can't swim, we decided to skip snorkeling and go for the submarine tour instead. We had just visited the "Bunasé Underwater Park" in Okinawa last month, so we weren't too impressed by the fish, but we were amazed that the submarine went down to 30 meters.

妻と二人で参加しました。内の奥さんはカナヅチなのでシュノーケリングへの参加を諦め潜水艦ツアーに決めました。先月沖縄の「ブナセ海中公園海中展望台」に行ったばかりでしたので、魚への感動は余りありませんでしたが、潜水艦が３０ｍも潜水したのには感動しました。

My wife and I participated together. I had visited Oahu three times before, but it was my first time on the Big Island. The main purpose of my first trip to the Big Island was this tour of the "Mauna Kea Summit Sunset." I was worried about altitude sickness, but the guide explained how to avoid it while we were in the car, so there were no issues. However, I did get a bit out of breath when moving around at the summit, but the breathtaking starry sky, unlike anything I had ever seen before, made me forget my breathlessness. I was able to see the Milky Way and learned for the first time that starlight illuminates the ground. This is a tour I would love to join again if I have the opportunity to go to the Big Island.

　妻と２人で参加しました。これまでオアフ島は３度訪れたことはありましたが、ハワイ島は初めてです。初ハワイ島の最大の目的は、「マウナケア山頂サンセット」のこのツアーでした。高山病が不安でしたが、車内でガイドさんが高山病を回避する方法を説明してくれて問題ありませんでした。ただ、山頂で少し動くと息切れがしましたが、これまで見たこともない満天の星空は、息切れを忘れる程の美しさでした。天の川を見ることができ、星あかりが地上を照らすことを初めて知りました。ハワイ島に行く機会があれば再び参加したいツアーです。

If you're going to the Big Island, you definitely want to climb!
They provide hotel pick-up, lend you warm clothing, and even take memorable photos!
The weather was great on the day we participated, and we were able to see a perfect starry sky.
We even saw Saturn!!

ホテル送迎付きで、防寒着も貸してくれて、思い出の写真撮影もしてくれる！
私たちの参加した日は気候も良く、満点の星空を見ることもできました。

I used this for my honeymoon in late October. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day, and we couldn't see the sunset very well... There were also hardly any stars visible. After waiting anxiously for 30 minutes... suddenly the clouds cleared, and an astonishing starry sky spread out before us! There was also a funny incident where our guide got caught speeding by the police, but he was released with the amusing condition of writing a reflection letter^^;

It seems there are observation tours around the Onizuka Center, but this tour takes you higher up for observation, so the stars feel closer and more impressive! We also had plenty of time.

I highly recommend it.

10月下旬にハネムーンで利用しました。
当日はあいにくの雲で、サンセットはあまりきれいに見れず・・・
星もほとんど見えない状態でした。
不安な気持ちで待つこと３０分・・・突然雲が晴れてきて驚くような星空が目の前に広がりました！
ガイドさんが慌てていたのか、途中で速度違反で警察に捕まるというハプニングもありましたが、反省文を書けばＯＫという面白い条件で解放されました^^;

オニヅカセンターあたりで観測するツアーもあるようですが、このツアーはそれより上で観測させてくれるので、星空が近くて迫力あります！
時間もたっぷりありました。

オススメです。

I read in reviews that there would be a long line, so I arrived more than 30 minutes early, but there was already quite a queue. I was a bit worried because it was drizzling, but by the time we were allowed in, it had cleared up, which was a relief. Once seated, all the announcements were in English, so I didn't understand much and just followed the movements of others. At first, we passed by the food line to get drinks like Mai Tai and fruit punch, while others were happily chatting, dancing, and checking out the whole roasted pig. I couldn't join in the conversation due to my limited English, which left me feeling a bit bored. About an hour later, everyone finally started to get their meals, so the two of us went to get ours. There were local dishes like ahi poke and poi, making for quite an enjoyable meal. The luau show that finally started featured a person dressed as King Kamehameha and various dances, and I thought it was well done, just as the reviews had said. As an impatient Japanese person, I felt the pace was a bit slow, but I came to understand that it allowed for a more leisurely enjoyment. I believe it was a show worth the price.

クチコミでかなり並ぶと書いてあったので受付時間より３０分以上早く行ったけれど既にかなりの行列になっていた。少し雨がぱらついていたので心配だったけれど入場の頃にはなんとかやんでホッ。席についてからの案内は全て英語なのでよく分からないまま他の人を動きを見ながら最初は食べ物の並んだところを通り過ぎてマイタイとかフルーツポンチなどの飲み物を取りにいき、他の人は楽しくおしゃべりしたり踊ったり豚の丸焼の見学にいったり楽しんでいるけど、こちらはカタコトの英語で会話には加われず、暇を持てあましてしまった。１時間くらいしてからやっとみんなが食事を取り始めたので、私たち二人も取りにいった。アヒポキやポイなど郷土料理もあってなかなか楽しい食事だった。やっと始まったルアウショーはカメハメハ大王に扮した人の入場や各種のダンスなど評判どおりなかなかよくできていたと思う。せっかちな日本人にとってはあまりにも流れが悠長だと感じたが、それはそれでゆっくり楽しめるということでもあると納得。値段に見合ったショーだと思う。

The main purpose of my trip to the Big Island was sunset star gazing.

I was completely satisfied with everything. Our guide, Mr. Yamamoto, was so much fun that there was no time to fall asleep in the car; it was an enjoyable ride.

We took various photos along the way, and the clear guidance made for many wonderful memories.

The dinner included warm miso soup and a bento that made me question if I was really in Hawaii; I was surprised.

They even provided tea, cocoa, and cookies—everything was taken care of.

The star gazing felt like a planetarium with the laser pointer.

Next time, I will participate with my husband, and I look forward to it!

ハワイ島の第一の目的でした、サンセットに星観測。

全てに大満足
ガイドの山本さん、とっても楽しいガイドで車内で寝てしまうような暇がないほど
楽しい車内でした

途中色々写真を撮って頂き、分かりやすいガイドで想い出もいっぱいです。。

夕食も温かいお味噌汁、ここはハワイ島？と疑うようなお弁当で、びっくりしました。

お茶やココア、クッキーまで至れり尽くせりでした

星観測はレーザーポイントでまるでプラネタリウムです

The weather was great on the day of the tour, and the sunset and stargazing were fantastic. The guide was very proactive in taking photos, had interesting stories, and was extremely kind. They provided complete cold weather gear, including top and bottom layers, a cute warm hat, and gloves. They also made sure to take breaks here and there to help us acclimate to the altitude. Both the guide and the experience were top-notch.

当日は天気も良く、サンセット＆星空観測は最高でした。
ガイドの方も積極的に写真を撮ってくれて話も面白くとても親切でした。
防寒対策も上下の防寒着、かわいい防寒用帽子、手袋等を準備してくれて万全でした。
高山へ体を慣らすためにところどころで休憩してくれました。
ガイド＆内容ともに最高でした。

The guide was very kind and it was really great! They willingly took many photos and the explanations were well done, making the ride back enjoyable without any boredom. The tour was really good, but even though it was early April, it was incredibly cold up there, so even with the down jacket they lent me, I caught a cold the next day since I'm sensitive to the cold... So, I think it's a good idea for those who go to bring a heat pack.

The stargazing was too cold, so we quickly went back to the car, but it was incredibly beautiful and moving.

I was happy that the photos could be downloaded for free. I’ve been on other tours with this company, but I found that there are no bad guides. I think everyone is very well trained.

When I go to Hawaii again, I plan to look for tours with this company.

ガイドさんがとても親切ですごく良かった!写真も進んでよくとってくれましたし、説明もうまく行と帰りの車の中も飽きなくてよかった。ツアーはとっても良かったですが、4月の上旬でしたが、やはり上はものすごく寒かったので、ダウン貸していただいてても、寒がりな私は次の日風邪引いてしまいました。。。。ので、ぜひ行かれる方は、カイロ持参でもいいと思います。
星空観測も寒すぎてすぐ車に入りましたが、すごくきれいで感動しました。
写真も無料でダウンロードできましたし、うれしいです。
こちらの催行会社さんのツアーは、他のツアーもいきましたが、ガイドさんに外れがないです。みなさんとってもよい教育されてると思いました。
また、ハワイに行くときも、こちらの催行会社さんでツアーを探そうと思います。

I participated with guide Fujitani. I managed to catch the sunset, but unfortunately, the starry sky was disappointing. It couldn't be helped since it was up to the weather. However, I was able to see the stars from a spot a little lower down the mountain♪ I was glad I could take some photos.

What was a bit disappointing was when I looked at the blog. There were many photos uploaded by the members of guide Matsuzaki, but not many of Fujitani's members were featured. In fact, it was only the photos taken by Matsuzaki, so I thought I would like to request Matsuzaki as my guide next time.

The cold weather gear was perfectly prepared, and although we brought some from Japan, we didn't need it at all. The provided cold weather gear included:
- Ski wear (top and bottom)
- Gloves
- Wool hat
- Hot drinks
and it was prepared for the number of people. If you're worried, it might be good to bring a hot pack.

Overall, it was a fun tour.

フジタニさんのガイドで参加しました。
サンセットは何とか間に合い見ることが出来ましたが、
星空は残念でした。お天気が相手なので仕方なかったです。
でも、少し下山した所からは星空を見ることが出来ました♪
写真も撮れたので良かったです。
次回こそは良いお天気に恵まれたいです♪

少し残念だったのが、ブログを見たときです。
合流したマツザキさんガイドのメンバーさんはたくさんの写真がアップされていましたが、フジタニさんガイドのメンバーはあまり写っていませんでした。
そもそもマツザキさんが撮った写真だけでしたので、
次回参加する時はマツザキさん指名でお願いしたいと思いました。

防寒具もバッチリ準備されており、ある程度日本から準備して行った私達でしたが、
全くいりませんでした。
用意されている防寒具は、
・スキーウエア―程度の防寒具(上下)
・手袋
・毛糸の帽子
・温かい飲み物
など人数分準備されています。
もし、心配でしたらホカロンを持参すると良いかもしれません。

トータル楽しいツアーでした。

The day before, we arrived at the Big Island of Hawaii, and since it was the next day, I was full of energy from the morning. My dad was sleeping in the morning, so I played in the pool, and in the afternoon, the three of us participated in this tour. I live in Chiba Prefecture, and our guide, Mr. Konno, was a brother from Ibaraki Prefecture. We progressed from Kona to Waikoloa, and along the way, we were able to see a bird called Holo Holo, which is said to be rare. When we entered Parker Ranch, it started to get a bit cold, and it was really tough even in a T-shirt. When we arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center, it was very cold, and I put on something like ski wear. The bento had tough chicken, but the air was very delicious. After finishing our meal, we headed to the summit by car. I had seen it on TV, but when we arrived at the summit, it felt like we had come to a star somewhere in the universe. I was also moved to be able to drive to a place higher than Mount Fuji. While getting out of the car and taking pictures, I felt a bit dizzy, and I thought about what Mr. Konno had said about the thin oxygen. There were many clouds, so we couldn't see the sunset. The stars were also hard to see due to the moonlight and clouds. Just when I was feeling disappointed, the staff shared a lot of stories about constellations and cheered us up. Gradually, we started to see some stars, and it was fun. On the way back at the supermarket, Mr. Konno was earnestly speaking in English to some foreigners. He wasn't very good at it, but since I will be a junior high school student from April, I want to be able to speak English and come back to see the sunset and the starry sky at the summit of Mauna Kea. Thank you, Mr. Konno, for sharing so many stories with us.

前の日にハワイ島へ着き、翌日だったので、私は朝から元気一杯、パパは午前中寝ていたので、私はプールで遊び、午後から家族３人でこのツアーに参加しました。私は千葉県に住んでいるのですが、ガイドさんの今野さんは茨城県出身のお兄さんでした。コナからワイコロアへと進み、途中、珍しいと言われる、ホロホロという鳥を見させてもらいました。パーカー牧場に入ると、少し寒くなってきて、Ｔシャツでもとても無理でした。オニヅカ・ビジター・センターに着くととても寒くて、何かスキーウェアみたいのを着ました。お弁当、鶏肉は固かったけれど、空気はとても美味しかったです。食事が終わってから山頂へ車で向かいました。テレビでは見たことがあったけれど、山頂に着いたときは、宇宙のどこかの星へ来たような感じがしました。富士山より高いところに車で来ることも感動しました。車を降りて写真撮影をしていると、何かふらふらしてしまい、ガイドの今野さんが言っていた、酸素が薄くなっているんだなと思いました。雲が多くて、サンセットは見れませんでした。星も月の明かりや雲で、良く見えませんでした。がっかりしていると、スタッフの皆さんが星座の話をたくさんしてくれて、私たちを盛り上げてくれました。少しずつ星も見えてきて、楽しかったです。帰りのスーパーで今野さんが一生懸命、外人の人に英語で話していました。あまり上手ではなかったけれど、私も4月から中学生になるので、英語が話せるようなって、またマウナケアの山頂にサンセットと満点の星を見にきたいと思いました。今野お兄ちゃん、たくさんお話を聞かせてくれてありがとうございました。

At the star observation point, two other cars joined us, and we shared two telescopes to look at the stars. One of the other cars had a loud, boisterous guide from the Kansai region, who seemed to have an air of superiority over the other guides and guests, which was quite unpleasant. His loud attitude, wanting to draw attention to himself, was laughable. However, I think it was a valuable experience to be able to go to the summit of Mauna Kea. Next time, I would like to see the Milky Way and a starry sky without any noise. By the way, our guide (Mr. Kono) was kind and shared a lot about life in Hawaii during the ride back. Thank you very much.

星を観察する地点では、他の車2台も合流して2台の望遠鏡を共同で使用して星をみました。他の車には関西弁の大柄なうるさいガイドがいて、なんか他のガイドさんやお客さんに対して威張った感じが伝わり不愉快でした。本当に大声で自分に注意を向けたい態度が失笑ものでした。でも、まあ、マウナケア山頂に行けたのは貴重な体験だったと思います。次は天の川やふるような星空を騒音のない状態でみたいです。ちなみに私たちの車のガイドさん（こんのさん）は親切で、帰りの車の中ではハワイ生活などたくさん教えてくださいました。ありがとうございました。

Climbing Mount Fuji is hard, but since you can drive to a mountain over 4,000 meters, my parents in their 70s who joined me were also moved, saying, "I can't believe we can climb such a high mountain at this age." The guide was kind and careful while driving to avoid altitude sickness.

On the way to the summit, encountering wildlife and stargazing was breathtaking; I don't think I've ever seen so many beautiful stars, and my heart was filled with the richness of nature. I was also impressed by the guide's knowledge as they explained the constellations clearly using a laser pointer. I believe this is a tour that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

　富士山に登るのはハードだけど、4000メートル級の山に車で行けるので一緒に参加した70代の両親も「この歳でこんな高い山に登れるなんて」と、感動してました。高山病にならないよう、気を遣いながら運転してたガイドさんも親切で良かったです。
　山頂までの道中で、野生動物に遇ったり、星空観測は、こんなにたくさんの星を見たことないと思うくらい綺麗で、自然の豊かさに心が満たされました。
　レーザーポインターを使いながらわかりやすく星座の説明をしてくれたガイドさんの知識も感動。子供から大人まで楽しめるツアーだと思います。

I used this service for my honeymoon. We stayed at Hapuna Beach Prince and had a pick-up at 15:15, which was almost on time. On the way, we stopped to take pictures with horses and lava, and enjoyed explanations about the flowers.

When we arrived at the Onizuka Center, we were lent warm clothing and had our lunch. I was excited, thinking, "Now, we’re finally heading to the top of Mauna Kea..." but when I looked at the road, I saw the sign saying "ROAD CLOSED."

It was a major event of the trip, so I couldn't accept the reality. The tour guide tried hard, but the road never opened. We climbed a hill near the Onizuka Center to watch the sunset (which was beautiful in its own right) and saw some stars in the parking lot, but unfortunately, the clouds obscured much of the view.

On the way back to town, the clouds cleared a bit, so the guide stopped the car for us to see the stars, and we were able to enjoy a stunning starry sky. We also took pictures with the stars, which we can receive online later. On the way back, we stopped by a supermarket.

Although this time ended up being disappointing, the guide was pleasant and worked hard, and the weather is no one's fault, so I would like to try again next time.

ハネムーンで利用しました。
ハプナビーチプリンス宿泊で１５：１５ﾋﾟｯｸｱｯﾌﾟ。ほぼ時間通りでした。
行く途中、馬や溶岩などと写真を撮るために寄ってくれたり、お花の説明など楽しめました。
オニズカセンターまで到着し、防寒着を貸してもらい、お弁当を食べ、
さあ、これからいよいよ・・・
と思って、マウナケア頂上に向かう道を見ると、「ROAD　CLOSED」の文字。
旅の一大イベントだったので、現実を受け入れられませんでした。

ツアーガイドさんも粘ってくれましたが、道が開くことは無く。
オニズカセンター近くの丘に登ってサンセット見て（これはこれで綺麗でした）
駐車場で星を見せてもらいましたが、あいにくの雲であまり見れませんでした。
町への帰り道、途中で雲が切れたので星を見る為に車を停めてくれて、満点の星空が見れました。星空との写真も撮影してくれ、後日ネットから受け取れます。
帰りにはスーパーに寄ってもらいました。

今回は、残念な結果になってしまいましたが、ガイドさんは感じよく、一生懸命働いてくれましたし、天候ばっかりは誰のせいでもないので、また次回リベンジしたいと思います。

It was very disappointing that the road was closed and there was no change in the date, so I couldn't reach the summit of Mauna Kea, but I was moved by the sunset and the starry sky.

道路が閉鎖されていて、変更する日もなく、マウナケア山頂まで行けなかったのは、とても残念でしたが、夕日と星空には感動しました。

We participated as a couple in January. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but our guide worked hard to make up for it, and it was a very enjoyable tour. I think there's nothing we can do about the weather. Still, we were able to safely observe the starry sky.

Next time, I will definitely seek revenge. I look forward to it again!

1月に夫婦で参加しました。
残念ながらお天気に恵まれませんでしたが、それをカバーするぐらいガイドの方ががんばって下さり、とっても楽しいツアーでした。
お天気だけはどうする事もできないと思います。
それでも無事に星空観測をすることができました。

Last time I participated in the summer, and since the constellations visible change with the seasons, this time I went in winter when my constellation is visible.

Every time I joined during the new moon according to the lunar calendar, I was amazed by the starry sky, but this time I couldn't adjust my schedule, so I ended up going close to the full moon and had low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how many stars I could see.

Additionally, the weather was absolutely perfect, allowing us to see the red lava lake of Kilauea from the summit.

I also love that I can take a lot of photos each time, and they upload the images on their website.

前回は夏に参加、季節で見える星座も違うので、今回自分の星座が見える冬に行きました。
毎回月の暦で新月の時に参加して満天の星に感激でしたが、今回スケジュールの調整つかず、満月に近い日になって期待薄だったのですが、思っていた以上に星が見え良かったです。

また、天気が最高に良かったのでキラウエアの赤い溶岩溜まりやを山頂から見ることが出来ました。

毎回写真を沢山撮って、ホームページ上で画像をアップしてもらえるのも魅力です。

I went to Hawaii for my honeymoon and participated in the Mauna Kea Sunset & Stargazing Tour.

Before reaching the summit, we saw a beautiful rainbow and took some photos there. It was a fun journey even before we got to the top, taking pictures on the lava!

Then, we observed the sunset near the summit.

It was truly beautiful!! The sunset reflecting off the clouds was also very stunning.

As for the cold, it was indeed cold. I made sure to wear warm clothing, but they also lent us ski pants, jackets, hats, and gloves, which was very appreciated.

During the stargazing, I was amazed by how many stars there were, thinking, "Are there really this many stars?!" It was incredibly beautiful.

Our guide, Mr. Yamamoto, was very interesting and knowledgeable about the Big Island and the stars, making it a wonderful tour! He even taught us how to take photos of the night sky with our own cameras, and we were able to capture some really beautiful pictures!

This time, I couldn't see my constellation because it wasn't the right season, so I want to try again at a different time!

Words can't fully express this experience, so if you ever have the chance to go to the Big Island, I highly recommend participating in this tour!!

新婚旅行でハワイへ行き、マウナケア　サンセット＆星空観測ツアーに参加しました。

山頂につく前にも、とってもきれいな虹が出ていて、そこで写真撮影。溶岩の上で写真撮影と、山頂に行くまでも楽しい旅でした＾＾

そして、山頂付近で夕日の観察。

本当にきれいでした！！雲に夕日が反射しているのも、とても綺麗でした。

寒さは、やっぱり寒いです。自分でもしっかり防寒具を着込んでいきましたが、さらにスキー用（？）のズボンと上着と帽子と手袋を貸してくださいますので、とてもありがたかったです。


星空観察は、「こんなに星があったの！？」というくらいたくさんの星が見えて本当に本当にきれいでした。

ガイドさんの山本さんも、とってもおもしろくて、ハワイ島や星たちに詳しくて、とってもよいツアーでした!!
私たちの手持ちカメラでの星空撮影の方法まで教えていただき、とっても綺麗な写真もとれました！！

今回は、私の星座がみれない時期だったので、時期を変えてまたチャレンジしたいです！

This might be what a hotel luau is like... Previously, I attended a luau on Maui that was really great, so this might be a gap in comparison... The difference is that the entertainment, like the hula dance, was lacking. I was expecting something more dynamic. The food wasn't bad, but it was just okay. There were few drink options. Maybe Kinkame is in a small space.

ホテルのルアウだとこんなもんなのかもしれない・・・
以前、マウイ島で参加したルアウがすごく良かったので、そのギャップかもしれない・・・何が違うかと言うと、フラダンス等のエンタが寂しい。もっとダイナミックなものを期待していた。食事は悪くはなかったが、まあまあ。飲み物の種類が少なかった。キンカメは場所が狭いのかな。

I thought it would be colder, but the weather was warm and very comfortable on the day.
The view from the top of the 4,200m mountain was amazing at sunset! It felt like being on top of the snow.
And the starry sky was incredible!
I could see the Milky Way, and I was very satisfied!!
I want to go again~ (*^_^*)

もっと寒いかと思いましたが、当日は暖かくとても過ごしやすい陽気でした。
4,200ｍの山の上は、夕日も最高！まるで雪の上にいるような景色でした。
そして、ものすごい星空！
天の川も観られて、とても満足でした!!
また行きた～い（*^_^*）

We signed up with my parents, who are celebrating their 60th birthday, and my husband and I, making a group of four. First of all, we were very satisfied with the guide's attentive work and witty explanations of the starry sky, and surprisingly (was that rude?) the bento was delicious.

Since we drove to a place higher than Mount Fuji, I was careful to practice abdominal breathing as instructed to avoid altitude sickness (I experienced drowsiness and a slight headache due to lack of oxygen). However, once we reached the summit, the sunset viewed from a rocky world that felt like another realm made all drowsiness and headaches disappear. The starry sky observation from a little below the summit, accompanied by the guide's humorous commentary, made us forget the cold.

Each participant took turns having their photos taken against the backdrop of the starry sky, and the service to download those photos for free from the blog on the website was incredibly moving, as it was something we couldn't do ourselves. The photo taken with Orion and the Winter Triangle in the background is a wonderful memory for our family. Thank you very much!!

還暦を迎えた両親と私たち夫婦の4人で申し込みました。まずガイドさんの丁寧な仕事ぶりと軽妙な星空解説、そして意外にも(失礼？)美味しかったお弁当に大満足でした。
車で富士山より高い所まで行くので、登りは高山病にならないように教えてもらった腹式呼吸で酸素を取り込むことに気を使っていました(酸素不足による眠気と軽い頭痛を経験しました)。しかし、いったん頂上に着いてしまえば、異世界のような石だらけの世界から見る夕日に眠気も頭痛も吹っ飛び、頂上から少し降りた所から見た星空観測では笑いを交じえた軽妙なガイドに寒さも忘れる程でした。
参加者全員順番に、星空をバックに写真を撮って下さり、それをHPのブログから無料でダウンロードできるサービスは、自分たちではできないことなのでとても感激でした。オリオン座と冬の大三角を背景に撮った写真は家族の素敵な思い出の一枚です。ありがとうございました!!

I was expecting a traditional hula dance show for my first time, but it turned out to be a well-produced performance.

初めての　フラダンスショー　伝統てなものを期待してましたが良くできたショーアップされたものでした　

We participated as a family of eight. With four people over 60 years old, including the oldest at 73, I was worried about whether we could handle climbing a mountain higher than Mount Fuji at 4,200 meters. I thought it would be a more challenging tour, but they provided breaks for altitude adjustment, and everyone was in great shape.

In Kona, the temperature was 20 degrees, while at the summit of Mauna Kea, it was minus 2 degrees, so there was a 22-degree temperature difference. However, the cold weather gear they lent us was perfect.

At the summit of 4,200 meters, watching the sunset was incredibly moving and exciting for everyone. By the time we descended the mountain after the sun had set, it was pitch dark, but we stopped to enjoy the starry sky, which was also incredibly moving and exciting. The sky was filled with stars. It was amazing. Everyone was satisfied with this tour. However, it would be even better if the price were a little lower.

家族総勢8人で参加しました。60歳以上が4人、最高齢73歳と高齢者が多いので4200メートルと富士山よりも高い山に登っても大丈夫かなと心配で、もっと大変なツアーかと思っていたのですが途中で気圧調整の休憩をとってくれて全員絶好調でした。
コナは気温20度、マウナケア山頂はマイナス2度と22度も気温差がありましたが、貸してくれた防寒具でバッチリでした。
また、４２００メートルの山頂で観るサンセットには全員’チョー感動・感激・最高～’でした。太陽が沈んでから山を下るころは真っ暗になりましたが、途中で車を降りて星空観賞、これまた’チョー感動・感激・最高～’です。空全面が☆。すごいですねえ。全員このツアーには満足しました。でも料金がもうちょっと安くなるともっといいんだけどなあ。------

It was truly the best tour. As a repeat participant, I definitely want to join again next time. The weather may affect it, but that's part of the experience. I believe the encounters with fellow participants and the coordinator are also valuable travel experiences. If you're going to the Big Island, this tour is highly recommended.

リピーターとして次回絶対参加したいです。天気に左右されるかもしれませんが、それもまた巡り合わせ。一緒に参加するメンバーの方やコーディネーターの方との出会いも貴重な旅の体験だと思います。ハワイ島に行くなら、絶対おススメのツアーです。

At 4,000 meters, the clarity of the dry air seems different. I went in early December, and the starry sky was magnificent. The path from the Onizuka Visitor Center to the summit was unpaved, and I was a bit surprised by the steep incline, but the 12-passenger four-wheel-drive van climbed strongly despite being full. It was indeed cold at the summit. It seems impossible without warm clothing, which they lent us for stargazing and other activities.

The dinner bento at the Onizuka Visitor Center, which came with miso soup, was a comforting taste of Japanese food after a long time. It was a nice break.

It was a great experience to be able to drive to a place higher than Mount Fuji.

　４，０００メートル、乾いた空気空の透明度が違うようです。１２月の上旬に出かけましたが、満天の星空でした。オニヅカビジターセンターから頂上までは舗装がなく、急勾配の坂にはちょっとびっくりしましたが、１２人乗りの４輪駆動の小型バン満席でしたが、力強く登っていきました。頂上はやっぱり寒かったです。星空観測などにも貸してくれた防寒具がないと無理のようです。
　オニズカビジターセンターでの夕食のお弁当は味噌汁付きで久しぶりの日本食でほっとしました。そしていい休憩になりました。
　富士山より高い場所に車で行けるというのはいい体験でした。

I recommend this for those visiting Hawaii Island for the first time. They provided detailed explanations about various information regarding Hawaii Island, and I was able to understand it well.

ハワイ島を初めて訪れて参加する方にお勧めです。ハワイ島についての色々な情報などを丁寧に説明してくれて、よく理解できました。

We participated as a family, but since I'm not good at English and the show progressed quickly, I couldn't understand it well. I think it would be enjoyable if you are okay with English. It felt different from the shows in Guam and Saipan.

家族で参加しましたが、英語が苦手なため早口でショーが進行されたため内容がよく分からなかった。英語OKなら楽しめると思います。グアムやサイパンのショーとは一味違う感じでした。

I participated with my wife and daughter. Actually, the day before, we went to Kilauea Volcano and stargazing, but unfortunately, the weather was not good, and we were disappointed that we couldn't see the volcano or the stars. However, Mauna Kea had great weather, starting with an impressive sunset, and we were able to see a sky full of stars, including the Milky Way. Additionally, I was lucky enough to see a shooting star, which made my wife envious.

As advice for everyone participating, dinner is served around 3 PM, which is quite early, so it's better to have an early lunch or eat a small amount. (Don't expect much from the bento...) Also, there is time to acclimatize to the high altitude at the Onizuka Center, but once you reach the summit, you may experience headaches, palpitations from just a little movement, and dizziness, so be careful. Furthermore, it gets quite cold in winter, so I think it's a good idea to prepare hand warmers and tights. Masashi's tour provided pants, which was helpful. They mentioned that only Masashi's tour offers pants. In any case, I think this is a tour that everyone should definitely experience when visiting the Big Island.

家内と娘と三人で参加しました。実は前日にキラウエア火山とスターゲイジングにも行ったのですが、あいにくに天気で火山も星もよく見られずがっかりしていましたが、マウナケアは天気がよく感動的な夕日から始まり天の川を含め満天の星を見る事ができました。さらに私だけ流れ星も見られて家内にうらやましがられています。参加する皆さんにアドバイスとしては、夕飯の時間が１５時頃ですごく早いので昼は早めにとるか、少量にしたほうがよいでしょう。（お弁当はあまり期待しないほうが、、、）また、オニズカセンターで高地の低酸素に体を慣らす時間を取りますが、山頂に着くと頭痛やちょと動いただけで動悸や体がふらついたりするので気を付けたほうがよいでしょう。また、冬はかなり寒いのでホッカイロやタイツを用意したほうがよいと思います。まさしのツアーではズボンも用意してくれたので助かりました。ズボンがあるのはまさしのツアーだけと言っていました。いずれにしてもハワイ島に行ったらぜひ経験してほしいツアーだと思います。

If you go to the Big Island, visiting Mauna Kea is a must! I think it's one of the two major highlights along with Kilauea Volcano.

It's really convenient to drive to a mountain that's taller than Mount Fuji, and you can have experiences that you can't usually get. It's amazing to be able to climb above the clouds so easily.

You can see a sky full of stars that you can't see in Japan, and due to the different latitude, you can observe constellations that are not usually visible.

The cold is unimaginable from down below, but they provide excellent cold weather gear for you, making it a highly recommended tour.

富士山よりも高い山へクルマで行けちゃうのはとても楽だし、それでいて普段得られないような体験ができます。
こんな簡単に雲の上に登れちゃうのはすごいです。

日本では見られない満点の星空、緯度が違うため星座も普段見られないものが観察できます。

下界からは想像できないような寒さですが、防寒着もバッチリ貸してもらえますし、オススメのツアーです。

I knew it would be a full moon when I signed up, but since I read in experiences that it might still be visible, I decided to go ahead and book it since I was staying on the Big Island.

The sea of clouds on the way to the summit and the sunset at the top were incredibly magical and beautiful—it was the best! The guide mentioned that because it was a full moon, there were fewer stars visible than usual. However, I was satisfied with the photos taken of the full moon through the telescope☆

In November, the weather isn't very good, and on the day we went, there were only thin clouds. However, the day before, it was completely covered by thick clouds, and no stars were visible at all.

During the tour, they took various photos, and it was helpful that they made them available for download from the blog later on♪

You can't know the weather until that day, but if you're going to the Big Island, I definitely recommend this tour＾＾

参加申込時点で満月だとわかっていたのですが、体験談で見えなくはないとあったのでせっかくハワイ島に宿泊するならという事で申し込みました。

山頂へ登るまでの雲海と、山頂での夕日は大変幻想的で美しく最高でした！
星空は、やはり満月なので星はいつもよりは見える数が少ないとガイドさんは言ってました。
ただ、望遠鏡で拡大した満月を写真に撮ってもらい満足でした☆

１１月は気候もあんまり良くないらしく私たちの言った日はうっすら雲がかかっている程度でしたが、前日は厚い雲に覆われ一切星空は見えなかったそうです。

ツアー中色々写真を撮ってくれて、後日ブログからダウンロードできるようにしてくれていて助かります♪♪

お天気はその日にならないとわからないですが、ハワイ島に行かれるなら是非お勧めのツアーですよ＾＾
