The staff and the dolphins were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it. My children, aged 6 and 10, were well taken care of by the staff, and they were able to interact with the dolphins without any issues. The kids were able to enjoy it fully, and our whole family was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much. On the way back, we even got to see a whale, which made for a perfect time.

While moving, we spotted a whale and got super excited‼️ I think it was all about timing, but I’m glad we got to see it. The sunset was also amazing‼️ After arriving at the spot and getting ready, we entered the water~. We saw a manta ray❣️ It was so impressive. I’m glad we got to see it several times.

In January, for night manta diving, you need to prepare for the cold. I think renting a wetsuit is necessary. However, since it's a spring suit, which is short-sleeved and short-legged, those who are sensitive to the cold should definitely wear long sleeves and long pants (rash guard).

On the way back, it was clear and there was no moon, so the starry sky was beautiful. However, since you return to the port while still wet, you need to prepare for the cold. I think having two bath towels per person would be good.

Since it's nature, sometimes you see things and sometimes you don't, but you have to enjoy it in your own way! The staff were kind and friendly.

移動中、クジラが出て大興奮‼️タイミングだと思うけど、見れて良かった。そしてサンセットもサイコー‼️ポイントに着いて準備後エントリ~。出たマンタ❣️迫力あるぅ。何回か見れて良かったです。
１月は、ナイトマンタは寒さ対策は必要です。ウェットスーツは、レンタルは必要かと思います。ただスプリングといって、半袖半ズボンなので、寒がりの方は、長袖長ズボン(ラッシュ)必須と思います。
帰りは、晴れて月が無かったので星空が綺麗でした。
ただ、濡れたまま港まで帰るので、防寒対策は必要です。バスタオルは、一人2枚あったらいいかと思います。
自然相手なので、出たり出なかったりかと思うけど、自分なりに楽しまないと
ね！。スタッフは、親切で優しい方でしたよ。。

I felt colder than I expected. There were two manta rays swimming around. I was happy to see them, but if I could wish for more, I would have liked them to come closer. I wanted to see more of them.

I was glad to receive snacks and water after getting back on the boat, but it was cold, so it would have been even better if we could have had hot drinks.

船に上がってからお菓子とお水をもらえて嬉しかったが、寒かったのでホットドリンクを頂けたらもっと最高ですね〜

This was my second Manta experience and I was disappointed not to see a manta. There were a lot of boats out looking, I counted 15 at one time and it was just before dusk. On a previous Manta experience it was later so I wonder if they prefer to feed later when it's completely dark? I felt like I got to the party early and the cool kids showed up after I left. There was no lack of plankton however, so we were amused by the fish that gathered; an entire school under our light. I've gotten used to the 'entertainment' boat staff provides which makes an excursion more fun. This excursion was rather perfunctory. Go out, hop in the water, no manta, ok, go back. Everyone was rather disappointed not to see Mantas, so I'm not sure if that made going back seem rather glum. I realize these are wild creatures but my last excursion (with another company) there were quite a few Manta, like 6-8? It was an incredible experience that I wanted to repeat with my husband and was disappointed.

I had seen it on TV before and really wanted to experience it, and finally, it came true this time. The boat left the harbor and after about 30 minutes, we arrived. As the tension increased, I relaxed by talking with the Japanese female guide and some locals. Then, as it got dark, the main event began. The captain called out and everyone went to the sea.

After waiting for a while, I heard a boy next to me shout, "They've come!" Sure enough, when I looked over, there was a manta ray, and I joined in the cheers. The manta rays were dancing around with incredible energy. There’s no other way to describe it; it was amazing. After a few minutes of screaming, everyone got back on the boat, looking satisfied and chatting for a while.

When I asked the guide, she said it was the best experience she had had recently. Even now, I can vividly recall that wonderful sight. I am grateful to all the staff for this amazing experience.

前にテレビの映像で観てぜひ体験したいと思っていましたがやっと今回実現にいたりました。船は港を出て30分ほど走って到着。緊張感が増す中、日本人女性ガイドや近隣の方と色々話してリラックス。そんな中いよいよ暗くなって本番?キャプテンが声を上げみんな海へ。
しばらく待ってると隣の少年が来た〜って声を。
確かにそちらを見るとマンタが〜って私も歓声を。凄い勢いでマンタの乱舞。
これは凄いとしか言いようがない。絶叫の数十分後みんな船に上がり満足そうにしばらく 談笑。
ガイドに聞いたらつい最近で最高ですなんて。いま思い出しても素晴らしい光景が目に浮かびます。この素晴らしい体験にスタッフの皆さんに感謝です。

It had been since elementary school since I last entered the sea. Not even sure if I could swim, I bought a swimsuit and participated anyway. Before getting on the boat, I took motion sickness medication, applied sunscreen, and set sail with some anxiety.

However, the beautiful sea and sky that unfolded before me quickly blew away my worries.

Fortunately, I encountered dolphins at a reef where they only play when they're in a good mood. It was a wonderful experience. It was truly a playful interaction with the dolphins. They didn't just swim past me; I was surrounded by dozens of dolphins from all sides, even at my feet—it felt like a dream.

I dove three times. Even in the deep sea, I felt no fear when jumping in. I was surprisingly filled with excitement and anticipation.

I was also drawn to the personality of our guide, realizing that there are people who can live such wonderful lives. It made me reflect on the importance of being mindful of everything I choose to engage with. I expressed to my husband, who joined me, that I want to avoid things that harm nature or animals as much as possible. I decided to study nature more and see it up close.

Ah, if only I could swim better…! I definitely want to come back someday.

海に入るのは小学生ぶり。自分が泳げるかどうかも分からない状態で、取り敢えず水着だけ買って参加しました。
ボートに乗る前に、酔い止めを飲み、日焼け止めを塗り、不安を抱えながらも出港。
目の前に広がった美しい海と空に、不安は一気に吹き飛びました。

運良く、イルカさんがご機嫌な時しか遊ばないというリーフでイルカさんに遭遇。
素晴らしい体験をしてきました。
言葉通りイルカさんとの戯れ。群れが自分の周りを通り過ぎるなんてものではなかったです。
前後左右、足元にも数十頭のイルカさんに囲まれて、夢のようでした。
ダイブは3回。深い海でも、飛び込む際の怖さは一切なかったです。自分でもびっくりするくらいワクワクドキドキしかなかった。

ガイドさんの人間性にも惹かれ、こんなにステキな生き方ができる人もいるのだなぁと。
もっと、自分の手に取るもの一つ一つに意思を持たなくてはならないと考えさせられました。
自然を侵すものや、どうぶつへ痛みを与えるもの、なるべく避けて暮らしていきたいなと、まずは自然のことをもっと勉強してみよう、もっと間近に見に行ってみよう、と一緒に参加した主人と話をしました。

ああ、それにしてももっと、泳げたらなぁ…！
いつかまた、かならず戻ってきたいです。

This was easily the highlight of our trip. Trevor and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they got us into a pod of 200+ dolphins. We left with amazing photos and an amazing experience. We will definitely be back next time we're on the island. Don't hesitate to book this trip!

Even though it's always summer in Hawaii, we found ourselves in the middle of winter, and unfortunately, it was cold and rainy. We suited up in wetsuits and headed out into the waves, which were quite rough! From a Japanese perspective, it was surprising to start the tour under such bad weather conditions.

As expected, my wife, who isn't very confident in her physical strength, quickly returned to the boat due to the cold and the waves. I was worried about her, and I ended up slipping on the deck and injuring my side. We only managed to spot two manta rays near the ocean floor, which left us a bit disappointed on our first day in Hawaii.

I had joined the tour believing the reviews that said it would be fine even without understanding English, but I think it would be safer to go with a Japanese-speaking tour, even if it costs a bit more. However, I did find that the catamaran had less rocking than expected, so I hope to try again under better conditions.

常夏のハワイ、とは言え真冬おまけに生憎の雨で寒い中、屋根ひとつないところでウェットスーツに身を包み沖へ出るとかなりのうねりが！
われわれ日本人の感覚からすれば、こんな、悪天候の時に出航するのかと思ってしまう条件の中でのスタートとなりました。
案の定寒さと、うねりにより体力に自信のない女房は早々に船上に。
心配で同行した私も、デッキで滑り転倒して脇腹を痛める始末。
肝心のマンタは海の底辺りに２尾だけ現れたのを確認できたのみで、ハワイ島初日にすこしがっかりのツアーでした。
英語がわからなくても、勢いで大丈夫っていった書き込みを信じての参加でしたが、やはり費用が割高でも日本語でのツアーの方が安全面のためにも良いのではと思います。
ただ、双胴船のため、揺れは少ない方だと思いました、好条件の時ににリベンジしたいと思います。

It was my first time on the Big Island and my first snorkeling tour. There were only our family and one other group of Japanese people. The check-in and explanations were all in English, but there were also Japanese instructions, and the staff was kind, so I felt secure participating. Since it was a morning cruise, we were first served delicious bread and fruit, and before we knew it, we arrived at the snorkeling spot. The beautiful bay had calm waves, and we saw plenty of fish, which made us very satisfied! There were also plenty of floatation devices, so we could enter the water without any worries.

For lunch, we had handmade hamburgers from the staff, and we got to make our own burgers. They were delicious! The boat also had a restroom, which was reassuring. It was a wonderful snorkeling experience where we could fully enjoy the great nature of the Big Island.

初めてのハワイ島で初めてのシュノーケリングツアーでした。日本人は私たち家族ともう１組だけ・・・。受付や説明はすべて英語ですが、日本語の注意書きもあり、スタッフが親切なので安心して参加できました。モーニングクルーズなのでまずおいしいパンやフルーツが出てきて、あっという間にポイントに到着。美しい湾で波も穏やか、魚もたくさん見られて大満足！！浮き輪や浮き具なども豊富なので、不安なく海に入れます。
　昼食はスタッフ手作りのハンバーグで、自分でハンバーガーを作ります。美味しかったー！！船にはトイレもついていて安心。ハワイ島の大自然を満喫できる、素敵なシュノーケリングでした。

My most favorite experience on Big Island with Sea Paradise! A great crew and we were taken care of from start to finish. You start by checking in at the shopping center, drive 5 minutes to Keauhou Bay to park your vehicle, get fitted for your wet suit, and get on the boat. The sunset on along the Kona Coast was beautiful. The crew were extremely helpful, very knowledgeable about the history of the manta rays, humorous and went out of their way to make sure we spent the most time with the manta rays. We were one of the first boats in and last to leave. Plus, we were given fresh pineapple, juices/sodas and hot chocolate.
I do not know how to swim but the guides took extra care to make sure I made it on and off the boat with flotation devices. I would definitely recommend Sea Paradise!

I waited for a while for the manta rays, but when one finally came right in front of me, I was so excited! Even after getting into the water, the staff took me to where the manta rays were, which made it really easy and enjoyable.

しばらくはマンタ待ちでしたが、まさに目の前にマンタが来て大興奮でした！
海に入ってからも、スタッフがマンタのいる場所まで連れれ行ってくれるので楽ちんでした。

I participated in the tour in September 2017. The tour guide was very friendly and funny. A manta ray passed right in front of me, and it was so moving! It was really cute. On the way home, there was an engine trouble that made me a bit anxious, but the tour guide and the other staff worked hard, and I was able to get home safely. They were such wonderful people that I felt like I wanted to live on the Big Island!

ツアーのお姉さんがとても気さくで面白かったです。
マンタが目の前を通り過ぎてくれて、感動しました！とても可愛かったです。
帰宅途中エンジントラブルが発生して少し不安になりましたが、ツアーガイドのお姉さん、お兄さんが頑張ってくれて無事に帰宅できました。
私もハワイ島に住みたくなるぐらい素敵な方々でした！

I held onto the blue glowing board, but there were too many people clinging to one board, making it cramped. The manta ray that appeared was just one, far away. The boat and the water were both very choppy, causing many people to feel seasick. On the way back, it was extremely cold, and some were vomiting, creating a hellish scene. It felt like a waste of over 30,000 yen for two people, making it the worst tour I've participated in so far (though I understand it's nature, so it's unavoidable).

If you don't see anything, you can participate for free the next day, but I had booked a different tour for the following day and couldn't join (I suspect most people will be in the same situation). I'm also doubtful if the right to participate for free again is valid for a few years later; if not, this is truly a terrible tour. For those who participate, please make sure to take motion sickness medication and be prepared for the possibility that you might not see anything.

青く光るボードにつかまって見るのですが、一つのボードにつかまる人数が多すぎて窮屈でした。そして現れたマンタは遠くの方に1匹だけ。ボート上も海の中も揺れが激しく、酔う人多数。帰りはとても寒く、吐く人もいて、地獄絵図でした。2人で3万円以上払ってこれかよという感じで、これまで参加したツアーで最悪のものとなりました（自然相手なので仕方ありませんが）。

見れなかった場合、翌日も無料で参加できるということですが、翌日は別のツアーを申し込んでおり参加できませんでした（ほとんどの方がそうなるのでは）。無料で再度参加の権利は数年後でも有効なのか疑問ですが、そうでないとしたら本当にひどいツアーです。参加する方は、必ず酔い止めを飲んで、見れない可能性があると覚悟して参加してください。

I was disappointed that there wasn't a Japanese pilot. Also, the two people sitting in front of me were wearing beige and red tops with shorts, which caused those colors to reflect on the glass. It was the worst because I couldn't take a photo with my smartphone without those colors showing up. For those participating, it's best to wear longer pants, at least knee-length, in black, and also a black top.

日本語パイロットでなかったのが残念でした。
あと、前に座った２人が、ベージュ、赤色のトップスにショートパンツの洋服を着ていたせいで、ガラスにその色が反射して、スマホで写真撮ろうとしても映り込んで、最悪でした。
参加される方は長めの、せめて膝下丈のパンツで色は黒色、そしてトップスも黒色を必ず着ていくほうがベストですよ。

While we only saw one manta, she did come up close, which was an amazing experience.

This was a last minute booking so we were glad to get it. We did the 7:45-9:45 PM night tour. The set up is pretty standard. The crew was experienced and knew what to do when didn’t find rays at the first spot. We were towed gently to where we saw two! We had a couple of screamers which was a bit annoying but that apart, terrific trip

This was my second time on a dolphin swimming tour in Hawaii, but the experience on the Big Island far surpassed my previous one. Following the guide's instructions, a pod of about 50 dolphins came close to us repeatedly. The location of the dolphins changes daily, and on the day we participated, the guide had confirmed in advance that they were near the harbor. Therefore, we didn't have to search for them by boat.

We encountered the dolphins shortly after departing from the harbor, allowing us to swim with them for a long time, even after other boats had left. I could clearly hear the dolphins' calls underwater.

Both the guide and the boat captain were very proficient in Japanese, so there was no language barrier. They provided wetsuits, fins, and masks, making it enjoyable even for those who are not confident swimmers. Our third grader had a great time as well.

I highly recommend this experience if you visit the Big Island.

ハワイでのイルカと泳ぐツアーは2回目でしたが、ここハワイ島での体験は前回の経験をはるかに凌駕する素晴らしいものでした。
ガイドさんの教えの通りにしていると、約50頭の群れが何度も何度も近くへ寄って来てくれました。毎日イルカのいる場所は変わるそうで、私たちが参加した日は、ハーバーから近いところにイルカがいることをガイドさんが事前に確認してくれていました。そのため、ボートでイルカを捜しまわることもありませんでした。
ハーバーを出港してあっという間にイルカに遭遇出来たため、そこから時間一杯まで、他のボートがいなくなってもたっぷりイルカと泳がせていただけました。イルカの鳴き声も水中でしっかり聞こえました。
ガイドさん、ボートのキャプテン共に日本語が大変お上手なため、言葉の心配はありませんし、ウェットスーツとフィン、マスクなど一式貸してもらえるので、泳ぎが苦手な方でも十分楽しめると思います。わが家の小学3年生も十分enjoyしていました。
ハワイ島を訪れた際には、ぜひ、経験されることをおすすめします。

For those who love the water and its fascinating creatures, we highly recommend this activity aboard the Hawaiian Sailing Canoe. The canoe is a modern replica seating a limited number of passengers, so the skipper Dave knew our names immediately. But much like going to a "modern" zoo, you may see what you're looking for the first time out but you may not. Our first night snorkel was at 8:30pm, and while the groups before and after us had a grand "show" we were skunked. But Dave said we could keep coming back (for free!) until we sighted the mantas. The next night at 9:30pm we were in luck, and were treated to a 45 minute water ballet by two mantas that glided and turned just inches beneath our illuminated surfboard. For optimum warmth bring your own full-length wetsuit instead of using their wetsuit tops.

It's unbelievable that, like other tour companies, they do not require life jackets at night on the sea. The return trip is completely in darkness. As someone with a boating license, I must say that if something were to happen, the staff alone would not be able to rescue all participants. I raise this alarm before any precious lives are lost. The boat's rocking is also severe, so pregnant women should refrain from participating. Since it's cold in December, warm drinks would have been better on board. I did see manta rays, and aside from that, I think it was good.

他の催行会社にも言えることですが、信じられない事に夜間の海でライフジャケットを着用させません。復路は全くの暗闇です。船舶免許保持者から言わせてもらうと、万一の事が有ればスタッフだけでは全ての参加者の人命救助できないでしょう。尊い犠牲が出る前に警鐘を鳴らさせていただきます。ボートの揺れも激しいので妊婦は参加見合わせすべきですね。１２月の寒い時期ですので船上では暖かい飲み物の方が良かったとおもいます。マンタも見れましたし、それ以外は良いと思います。

Daisuke, our guide, was wonderful with his attentiveness.

The weather was drizzly and chilly, not typical for Hawaii, but we were able to see plenty of dolphins! We even got to see them jump, which was very satisfying.

I brought my iPhone in a waterproof case, but it didn't respond to swipes underwater. I was advised to start recording video on the boat, and when I tried that, it worked well.

While I was playing with the dolphins, I got a bit seasick (it's better to take motion sickness medication), but everyone was kind and helped me calm down.

According to Daisuke, "I am confident that we can get you closer to the dolphins than anyone else. If we couldn't see them, I believe other companies' boats wouldn't be able to either." His love for dolphins and constant attentiveness seem to help him know the best spots and share information with others.

If there’s a next time, I would definitely love to join again.

ガイド(インストラクター?)のダイスケさんの気配りが素晴らしかったです。

天候は小雨で肌寒くハワイらしくない日でしたが、イルカちゃん(ダイスケさん風)は沢山見れました！ジャンプ姿も見れて、大満足でした。

iPhoneを防水カバーに入れて持って行きましたが、海の中ではスワイプが反応しません。"船の上で動画を始めた状態にすると良いですよ"と言われたので実践したところ、上手くいきました^ ^

イルカたちと戯れている間、私は途中で波酔いしてしまいました(酔い止めは飲んでおいた方が良いです)が、皆さんが優しく対応して下さり気分を落ち着かせる事が出来ました。

ダイスケさん曰く、"どこよりも、イルカちゃんに会わせてあげる自信があります。僕たちがイルカちゃん達に会えなかったら、他の会社さんの船も絶対会えてないと思います。"との事。イルカを愛し、いつも気遣いをしているからこそ、遭遇ポイントも分かるし、他社の方々とも情報共有出来ているようです。

次回があれば、是非またご厄介になりたいと思います。

I participated with my wife. The reason we chose this activity, as mentioned in the reviews, is that the guides (Daisuke and Ryo) genuinely care for and love the dolphins.

After actually participating, I felt even more that they truly love dolphins from the bottom of their hearts. We encountered dolphins multiple times and were able to swim with them. It was moving to see them swimming comfortably in the natural sea, including family dolphins and baby dolphins. We could also hear their voices.

On our way back to the port, we encountered a manta ray, and although it wasn't included in the tour, we were given the opportunity to swim with it. Thank you so much!!

When we returned to the port, I strongly felt the desire to protect the natural dolphins. I definitely want to participate again next year!

妻と参加させて頂きました。今回このアクティビティを選んだ理由はリビューにも記載されている通り、ガイドの方(ダイスケさんリョウさん)が心からイルカのことを大切に思い愛されているからでした。

実際参加してみたところ、リビューの内容以上に心身からイルカのことが好きなんだな、と感じました。
何回もイルカとも遭遇し一緒に泳ぐことができました。家族のイルカ、
子供のイルカ等、自然の海を心地よく泳いでいる姿に感動です。
イルカの声も聞くことができました。
港に戻る際はマンタに遭遇し、ツアーの内容には含まれていませんでしたが一緒に泳ぐ機会を与えて頂きました。
本当にありがとうございました！！

The ride was too bumpy as there were many waves. We were able to spot only 1 manta ray. Too expensive for 45 min bumpy ride and the whole experience.

Every time I come to the Big Island, I participate in the Fair Wind snorkeling tour. I usually go in the morning, but this time I joined in the afternoon for the first time. Since lunch is not included, I had a meal before heading out.

While the volcano and star tours are great, I really want everyone to experience the beauty of the ocean around the Big Island. At Captain Cook's Point, there are more fish than anywhere else, even more than at Hanauma Bay on Oahu. This time, we were the only Japanese participants. My elderly father doesn't dive, but he always enjoys the cruise and feels satisfied.

When we arrived at the port, it was just in time for the sunset, and we enjoyed watching it for a bit after getting off the boat.

It's only about a 15-minute drive from Kona, where we're staying, to the port, so it's very convenient.

The weather was nice, and it felt great!

いつもは午前中に参加しますが、今回は初めて午後に参加しました。
ランチはついていないので昼食食べてから行きました。

火山や星のツアーも良いけど、是非ハワイ島の海のキレイさを体感して
欲しいなぁと思います。
ハワイのどの島より、オアフのハナウマ湾よりここの
キャプテンクックのポイントが1番魚がたくさんいます。
今回も日本人は私たちだけ
高齢の父は潜りませんが、クルーズをいつも

I was worried about seasickness, but I took some motion sickness medication and it seemed to work, so I was fine. The explanations were also provided in Japanese, so there were no problems at all. However, even when we arrived at the spot, it took a while for the manta rays to appear, and we waited on the boat for quite some time. Finally, we got the go-ahead to enter the water and waited for the manta rays to come. Soon, one manta ray passed by so close that I could almost touch it. It was thrilling. That day, I saw four manta rays, but only the first one came close, which was a bit disappointing.

船酔いを心配しましたが、酔い止めを飲み効果があったのか大丈夫でした。
説明も日本語でしてくれるので全然問題ありません。ただポイントに着いてもなかなか　　　　マンタが現れず、船の上でずっと待っていましたが。やっとゴーサイン出て海の中に入って、
マンタがくるのを待ちました。程なく一匹のマンタが触れるほどすぐ近くを通って行きました。感激です。その日は四匹のマンタを見ましたが近くを通ったのは最初の一匹だけだったので少し残念でした。

Diese Tour fand mit ca. 18 Personen auf einem modernen Katamaran statt. Man befindet sich ca. 45min im Wasser, wobei man neue Neoprenanzüge trägt. Der Trip wurde professionell durchgeführt, es fanden sich neben den Teilnehmern stets 2-3 Sicherheitsschwimmer im Wasser. Wir sahen 5-6 majestische Mantarochen - selten was eindrucksvolleres erlebt. Ich empfehle Mittel gegen Seekrankheit, denn die Tour findet auf offenener See (Wellengang) und bei Dunkelheit statt. Kann diese Tour auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

As soon as I entered the sea, a manta ray came right up to me and performed several spins! It was so close that I could feel it touching my body. It was very impressive and exciting.
It takes about 20 minutes to get to the spot, so if the waves are high, you might get seasick. Also, it gets quite cold after coming out of the water.

海に入ってすぐマンタがそばまで来て、何回もクルクルと回転するサービスをしてくれました！近過ぎてマンタの方が体に触れてくる感じです。とても迫力があって興奮しました。
ポイントに行くまでに20分くらいかかるので、波が高いと酔ってしまうかもしれません。後、海から上がった後はかなり寒いです。

I'm so glad I participated! I encountered more than eight manta rays, and it seemed like it was a particularly lucky day for encounters. It was the best! I wasn't cold at all after borrowing a wetsuit! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Trip was great captain Jon was funny/informative. Chelsea and Rachael were both awesome would definitely book again and look forward to seeing them all soon

When we gathered, the guide mentioned that on the same tour a few days prior, they hadn't encountered any dolphins, which made me a bit worried. However, we were lucky to see many dolphins!

After heading out to sea, I learned that usually, they swim slowly towards where the dolphins are, but that day, there were unusually many dolphins coming towards us.

While we were fortunate, I believe it was also thanks to the guide who chose that location. The guide decides where to wait for the dolphins.

The boat ride took about 30 to 40 minutes, but the guide shared various stories about the Big Island, dolphins, and whales, making the journey enjoyable. It was also nice that it wasn't a large group tour, but rather a small one. Thank you very much.

集合したときガイドさんに、私が参加した数日前の同じツアーでは全くイルカに出会えなかったと聞いて心配になりましたが、運よくたくさんのイルカに会えました。
沖にでてからも、いつもはイルカのいるほうへ少しずつ泳いで移動するそうですが、その日はいつになくたくさんのイルカが来てくれてたそうで、イルカのほうから寄ってきてくれる感じでした。

運もよかったですが、その場所を選んでくれたガイドさんのおかげでもあると思います。どのあたりでイルカを待つかはガイドさんの判断だそうです。

船での移動は30～40分ほどありましたが、ガイドさんもハワイ島やイルカやクジラのいろんな話をしてくれたので、移動中も楽しく過ごせました。一度に大勢参加するツアーではなく少人数でのツアーだったのもよかったです。
